Perfekte Lage am Main und Essen sehr lecker! Da die Terrasse voll war, hat leider der Service sehr gelitten und waren unfreundlich. Wirklich Willkommen haben wir uns daher nicht gefühlt.

Am Ostersonntag 2 Pizzas für uns im Wohnmobil geholt, alles perfekt, super Qualität, Semola im Pizzateig, dieser auch sehr gut gemacht. Gutes Leopardenmuster im Rand der Pizza, also alles perfekt.

Kommen sicher im Sommer wieder. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir wurden schnell bedient. Auf der Speisekarte findet man von Pizza 🍕 zu Burger 🍔 viele leckere Gerichte. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen, jetzt war es mir leider zu laut. Insgesamt aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Leider kann man dort kleine Beträge nicht mit Karte zahlen.

Ein kleines Stück Italien inmitten der deutschen Landschaft. Alles war bestens organisiert und der Empfang herzlich.

Wir haben uns gestern Abend das Essen liefern lassen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Speisen waren superlecker. Extrawünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Lieferung kam sehr pünktlich zum Wunschtermin. Freundlicher Lieferant, sauberes Lieferfahrzeug. Wir werden dort auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

Wir durften uns den Platz aussuchen und haben uns dann an einen Tisch gesetzt, wo wir unsere Ruhe hatten. Das Personal war echt nett und aufmerksam, und das Essen war einzigartig lecker. Das war ein spontaner Besuch, unser erster, und es hat sich total gelohnt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, auch im Sommer, weil das Lokal ja direkt am Main liegt.

Hamid, du bist ein super Gastgeber! Gestern Abend, am Valentinstag, waren wir mit vier Personen im de Mar zum Essen. Sehr liebevoll und einladend war schon der Gastraum gestaltet. Das Essen sowie der Service waren ausgezeichnet. Dann zum Abschluss noch eine 🌹 Rose für die Damen - toll!!! Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend. 👍

Das Essen war lecker, aber das Restaurant war nicht sehr gastfreundlich und nicht kinderfreundlich.

Wir waren nach Empfehlung das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant. Das sage ich ausdrücklich den mit einem Café hat es nichts zu tun, sondern es ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant, die verstehen es sehr gute Pizza und Nudelgerichte zuzubereiten. Die Pizzen waren geschmackvoll und die Nudeln frisch zubereitet. Die werden uns ganz sicher wieder sehen.

Gönnen Sie sich ein erfrischendes Getränk und genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf die Hauptstraße.

Wollte mir in der Pause etwas holen mit dem Maingutschein. Leider haben die das Prinzip dahinter noch nicht verstanden. Auch nach meiner Erklärung des Maingutscheins, wie dieser funktioniert wurde ich verwiesen. Wirklich sehr schade.

Das Ristorante | Café de Mar befindet sich am Mainkai 10, 97828 Marktheidenfeld und liegt in fußläufiger Nähe zum Mainufer. Das Haus wirkt einladend mit großer Fensterfront, Terrasse und stilvoller Inneneinrichtung. Eine idyllische Lage für eine Auszeit am Wasser.

Very tasty food at a fair price.

The restaurant is located directly on the Main River, and it's a great place to sit outside when the weather is nice. We had two pizzas here, and they were very good. The staff is friendly.

We wanted to have dinner on our wedding anniversary at a beautiful restaurant in pleasant surroundings and had chosen the Ristorante Café de Mar. I called at lunchtime to reserve a table for the early evening with a direct view of the Main River. I told the gentleman that it was our wedding anniversary...his reply: no problem, we'll take care of it...We arrived there around 6 p.m. in joyful anticipation. The boss's brother wanted to seat us in the third row instead of the first. He didn't understand even after I told him that I had already called at lunchtime...after much back and forth, we finally got the seat we liked. The mood had unfortunately dropped a bit by then. The food was okay, but we couldn't apologize for the faux pas. We wouldn't eat here again. There's still a lot of room for improvement in terms of friendliness and the motto that the guest is king! They probably don't need it!

You can sit comfortably under the trees on the banks of the Main. The food is OK, a bit underseasoned for my taste. The service is good.

I arrived quite late on Sunday, although according to the description the kitchen should be open for at least another hour, but I was only offered pizza. The pizza was good and the wheat beer was very good. The restaurant is located on the river, so on a sunny day the atmosphere is great.

We were here today for an asparagus dinner. We received very friendly and prompt service. The food was delicious. The view of the Main River from the terrace was wonderful.

We were there on a short trip from the Rhine/Main area. And in 25 years, I've only ever been to one small pizzeria that could compete with that. That alone would make the trip worthwhile. 😋🤩 I hope it stays that way. Especially since the coronavirus pandemic, the taste, quality, and quantity have fluctuated in most restaurants. The same meal that you'd lick your fingers clean afterward can turn into a complete disappointment a few days later.

Highly recommended for its gastronomic appeal, with the advantage of a kitchen open all day from 11:00 a.m. The waiters were on the ball, and the food came quickly. It's set up outside near the Main River, nicely under the umbrellas. I'd say it's semi-Italian. During asparagus season, four dishes with Franconian asparagus, linguine with lots of salmon, delicious... Not overpriced for the price, but still room for improvement. Overall, I'd happily return sometime.

We spontaneously wanted to eat something – there were more than enough tables available. Nevertheless, we were sent to another terrace first for no apparent reason. When we got there, the next waiter explained to us that we should please go back to the original terrace. Honestly, this kind of back and forth is unprofessional and seems completely haphazard. If you treat guests like that, you shouldn't be surprised if they leave - that's exactly what we did. It's a shame actually, because the place itself looked nice. But we are happy to forego this service.

Great location, nicely decorated. Definitely recommended for coffee and cake. I didn't try the pizza, but the pasta dishes were made with discount store produce. Especially the tortellini – horrible. As for the service, well, they do their job, but friendly hospitality is a different story. Overall, you can go there once, but don't expect a culinary experience.

I went there with sports clothes and a bike and just wanted to eat a little something. I was told that there is currently no available space. As I was about to leave, I noticed that an older couple (smartly dressed) had also asked for a table without a reservation, and the waiter immediately assigned them a table. It's a shame that in 2025 you'll still be judged by your looks.

A nice Italian restaurant. The location couldn't be better. You can sit outside wonderfully and still have a great view of the Main. The food tasted very tasty. The service was also very friendly and on the ball. All in all we had a great evening.

Lunch break at school is so hot that we are not allowed to leave our school grounds and they then delivered two pizzas to the school for us 😍 it was absolutely delicious Only he came a little late but that's why it's bad and unfortunately they only deliver for a pizza but that's okay

Linguine with chanterelles and parsley is super delicious. With creamy sauce and well seasoned. Place right near the water with a view of the Main. Lovely on the terrace overlooking the water if you can get a spot on the edge of the water. I was lucky, despite it being Sunday. Was about 2:20 p.m.

We had bruschetta, pizza and pinsa. Everything was super tasty and plentiful. I would also like to emphasize the child-friendliness. All of our daughter's wishes were taken into account, she was spoken to personally (not through us) and we waited very patiently when the decision on the drink took a little longer. We don't always experience that when it's full. Thank you!

Overall, we enjoyed the food at Café de Mar. The salad I ordered was very tasty and included goat cheese with honey, avocado and mango, but the roasted seeds were missing. There was pizza bread as a side dish. The ambience is very nice. Beautiful with a view of the Main. Overall, the service was mostly friendly and helpful. The orders came quickly.

Wonderful opportunity to sit by the Main and have something to eat... The pasta was great, the pizza was ok and so was the service. Plus delicious beer (Skt. Martinus) and a dream view over the river... - a great lunch stop for us!

I have visited Cafe del Mar several times and am generally impressed. But recent experiences have seriously disappointed me. The service has been in need of improvement in the past, but on our last visit this was taken to the extreme. My companion and I each ordered something to drink. After enjoying our drinks, we politely asked several times for the bill. It took all of 20 minutes until a bad-tempered young woman with long blonde hair finally served us. First of all - I completely understand stressful days and know how difficult it can be to use. However, I consider the following behavior to be inappropriate. When we asked if we could pay by card, we received a cold "no" without any explanation. Only after further inquiries were we informed in a bored tone that card payments would only be accepted for amounts over €50. Luckily we had cash with us and gave us a tenner each to cover our bill. However, the change was slammed onto the table without a word and in a rude manner. As a sign of our dissatisfaction with the service, we declined to tip, whereupon the waitress disappeared without a word. An older gentleman at the next table, who had already waited to pay before us, was still sitting there when we left the restaurant. This type of service is unacceptable and leaves much to be desired. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate action to improve the service.

Extremely unfriendly staff. We left here after a small drink. Everyone here is treated like cattle and laughed at by the staff. I recommend walking 3 minutes to the Biergarten. They are friendly there and it is nice.

The food was very tasty and really recommended

We were at Café de Mar for lunch today and had a very nice table directly facing the Main. The food was great, but the (only) female waiter (long blonde hair) didn't even say thank you for the 5 euro tip!! (Invoice amount: 120 euros). Despite the many wasps, she immediately took the "fly wagger" off the table, even though we hadn't finished drinking yet. When my very pregnant daughter kindly asked to leave the Wedler for a while until we had finished drinking (i.e. a maximum of 5 minutes), she said: "It's only for eating, drinks don't get wasps" and took it with her... no service-oriented behavior. Regardless, there was no toilet paper in one of the two women's toilets and the toilet seat was smeared with feces, obviously for a long time... at least 1 - 2 days!! I kindly pointed this out to the boss, his answer was "we'll take care of it", not a word of regret!! If the toilets are not kept clean and a waitress doesn't thank you for a 5 euro tip, that is a reason - despite the good food - not to visit this restaurant again.

Nice restaurant right on the Main. You can sit outside wonderfully, there are lots of shady places. There was no chest of drawers to change the baby, I was offered to change on the corner bench - great! Nice staff, everyone very friendly. We only had cold drinks and coffee, so no review of the food.

After waiting for an hour! The Grill Lachs Final arrived, No more than 200g of Lachs a few potatoes and mushrooms, a few pieces of paprika and zucchini. In the end it's maybe 500g of food without any sauce! Me as an amateur cook I can do a way better job in less time. At these prices and they are ridiculous, you can do way better than "this".

The restaurant is located directly on the Main. Wonderful view of passing ships. Trees and umbrellas provide shade. Friendly service, delicious food and a good range of drinks. Fair prices. Gladly again. Parking spaces are available. We just sat on the terrace, we don't know what it looks like inside.

Had the Spessart trout dish of the day. Large animal well fried, but then unfortunately coated thickly with garlic. You couldn't taste any more of the trout. I like garlic. Normal for Mediterranean dishes, but please not on a German trout. Service very polite and quick. Prices quite high. You sit outside on the Main. Very nice atmosphere.
