War gestern wieder mal hier zum Essen mit meiner Familie! Tolles Local mit dem Typischen italienischen Flair… Super Essen zum fairen Preisen ist hier das Motto. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und kennt sich aus. Nicht nur Pizza und Pasta sondern auch sehr gute Qualität an Fleisch und Fisch findet man hier auf der Speisekarte. -das auch noch zu erschwinglichen Preisen! Im Sommer ist das Essen auf der großen gemütlichen Terrasse wie ein kleiner Urlaub… Sehr empfehlenswert und immer wieder ein Garant für einen tollen Aufenthalt!

Wir hatten hier eine Geburtstagsfeier, ich als Gastgeber war mit allem, was geboten wurde sehr sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis super. Gerne wieder, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen ,schnell serviert, freundliches Personal, gerne wieder

Hier sehen Sie den einzigen Grund, der für Bayern spricht. Funfact 1: es ist ein Italiener. Funfact 2: die gleichnamige Nummer ist hier im Ort ein behördlicher Totalausfall aber selbst Kunde und parkt dafür wild. Deren Bestellung, wahrscheinlich Pizza Mafiosi mit grünem Lauch. Funfact 3: ich bin hier nicht Nummer 666, sondern 4 davor. Funfact 4: die Nachbarschaft hat ein komisches Verhältnis zum Ordnungsamt. Der eine hasst es, der andere liebt es. Kein Spaß, aber auch Fakt: reich wird hier nur der Kunde. Allerdings nur, wenn nicht auf dem Gehweg geparkt wird. Sonst ist man bei 55€ extra. Noch weniger Spaß: die Betreiber sollten reich sein, um mit Manuka Honig wieder ne Stimme zu haben. Meine dagegen: unerhört gut, was man da in 10 Minuten erledigt und der Kopf sagt, eine ging noch aber dann wirds vllt auch mal für mich selbst eng😂

Tolles italienisches Restaurant

Die Pizza Nutella wird nicht mehr mit echter Nutella zubereitet. Stattdessen wird eine billige Ersatzcreme verwendet, die extrem schlecht schmeckt. Eine Bestellung kann ich absolut nicht empfehlen und werde diese Pizza nie wieder bestellen.

Einfach fantastisch! Das Essen war perfekt, die Portionen wirklich großzügig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall mit meiner Familie wieder.

Ich war alleine, an einem Montagabend hier. Ohne Reservierung wartete ich ca. 10 Minuten um einen Tisch zu bekommen. Eine Reservierung war nicht möglich, da das Restaurant zwischen 17 und 19 Uhr telefonisch nicht erreichbar war. Daher meine Empfehlung: frühzeitig versuchen zu reservieren. Ich wurde begrüßt, mit einem Schälchen Oliven mit Baguette auf Kosten des Hauses, die Pizza war sensationell (La Pizza bianca Sorrentina) und ist definitiv der Grund für die vier Sterne und der Grund weshalb ich mit Sicherheit wiederkommen werde, trotz über 1-stündiger Anfahrt. Das Dessert (Pannacotta mit Waldfrüchten) war lecker, enttäuschte aber etwas, da die Waldbeeren - auf die ich mich sehr freute - sich als konventionelle Konfitüre entpuppte. Die Weinauswahl ist überschaubar. Alle anderen Teller, die ich an den Nachbartischen sah (Fleischgerichte und Salate), sahen sehr ansprechend aus und ich hörte nur zufriedene Stimmen um mich rum. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis wiederum sensationell. Mit einer Pizza, einem Pannacotta, einem stillen Wasser (0,5l) und einem Weißwein (0,25l) kam ich auf 22 Euro. Zuzüglich der Oliven mit Brot, gratis. Das Lokal ist barrierefrei, bezahlt werden kann bar und mit Karte, Parkplätze sind wenige vorhanden, aber an der Straße findet man welche, auch der Parklatz an der Mainbrücke ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Ein absolutes Negativereignis war leider der Geräuschpegel, es war extrem laut. Vielleicht könnte man die Decke mit schallschluckender Deko abhängen. Mein Gesamteindruck war trotzdem sehr gut, ich kann das Pomodorino bestens für alle Liebhaber der italienischen Küche empfehlen.

A very good Italian restaurant with a lovely beer garden. The prices are reasonable; the food is quite affordable for the quality. The pizza, pasta dishes, and salads are delicious and freshly prepared. The drink prices are also fair. The service is friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

Delicious pizza, pasta, and appetizers! Despite the high volume of customers, the service was very friendly and the staff clearly enjoyed their work. The food arrived super fast and was excellent. Also worth mentioning: new and clean restrooms. Reservations are a must – we were there on a Monday and it was very busy.

Although I didn't get what I originally ordered, I was still satisfied with my meal. I think the truffle pasta could have had a bit more of a truffle flavor. What I didn't like, however, was the stuffy air. When I asked if they could open the door, they said no. As a result, we actually left earlier than planned because the air was so bad. The atmosphere in the front was quite nice. I personally would have preferred the back, as it feels cozier. 4/5.

Good and cheap, very good service. 👍 But the quality of the pizza toppings is questionable. 🤔 We ate there again in November 2025, and I'm surprised it's so busy. Is it really just because of the low prices? Cheap, yes, but otherwise just cheap! The food (pizza and pasta dish) was anything but good; the ingredients were bland and tasteless. The staff were either unfriendly or noticeably forced in their friendliness. Just as they skimp on the ingredients, they also skimp on the ventilation; after you've finished eating, you practically need to wash your clothes. Dusting the lamps is nonexistent, and the otherwise nice pizza oven could also use a good cleaning. All in all, very disappointing. Good, fast, and cheap have never gone together.

We ate the best Italian food here in a very long time. Everything was just right... the taste, the freshness of the food, and even the service itself were really good. This restaurant is highly recommended!!! That day, we sat in the garden, which was pleasant. We went back the following day... the restaurant was packed inside because it was raining... the noise from some of the customers inside was incredibly loud. We felt so sorry for the poor staff. We also understood that when people are shouting and children are letting themselves run wild, you don't really laugh as a server, and you can also get a bit annoyed. So we sat outside under the roof, because it was much, much too loud for us inside with "those" customers... others also escaped outside despite the bad weather. The food was highly recommended that day, despite the crowd... but we felt completely sorry for the waiters!!!

Traveling from Japan, via Frankfurt to Schweinfurt stopped here for dinner, a cozy friendly interesting place, great selection of pizzas and pastas, and for me who need gluten free there were awesome saladas the Insalate Manzo was superb. And the price s are incredible. Top place for the buck. Triple recommended.

As I walked in, I noticed a strange smell. The cause was quickly discovered. It was the paper overlays on the table that also serve as menus. Everything in the restaurant is great, but the overlays smell strongly of printer's ink.

Delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful restaurant

The food tastes very good, especially the pizza Mary, but what bothers me every time is that you have to wait half an hour until someone comes and you can pay!

Very good food, but very, very poor service. We waited 50 minutes for the main course. No apology, no compensation. Very sad.

We went there for dinner yesterday. First, the starter was served on dirty, used dishes. I ordered the Pizza Mary: the toppings were very poor, the seasoning seemed to have been forgotten... The pizza tasted awful, and the consistency was like an old cleaning rag; I don't know how else to describe it! I've never eaten such a bad pizza. My hunger drove me to eat it. We paid immediately after eating and left. We weren't even asked if we enjoyed it. Once, and never again!!!!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pizzeria Pomodorino is simply fantastic! The ambiance is pleasant and inviting, and the service is always friendly and prompt. The pizzas are truly delicious – crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and great value for money. We love coming here, but we also often pick up a pizza to take home. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy inside, but that just speaks volumes about the great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I have to edit my review! It used to be a great place. We ate there today and waited 90 minutes for our food, even though it wasn't even that busy! The main thing is that the pizzas for pickup are brought forward every minute... When it came to paying, the lady with the short red hair was very rude! That's definitely not how you talk to customers! Thanks for nothing, you won't see us again!

We were regulars for years. We ate there 2-3 times a week. The service got worse and worse. And the lady serving was simply rude. We waited 80-90 minutes for our food. Not because it was busy inside, but because walk-up customers and orders took priority. Never again!

The food was fantastic 😋 and absolutely reasonable in price. We sat in the beer garden, which was also very nice.

The pasta was very greasy. The capaccio wasn't raw, but was cooked with too much balsamic vinegar. There were four of us and we would have liked a crepa to help us digest it, but there wasn't one. The only positive thing was that the pizza was somewhat okay. The price/performance ratio wasn't right.

The waiter's behavior was very bad. We complained about the service. The waitress used an inappropriate tone, very rude, and all of this happened in front of children.

This Italian restaurant was discovered by chance while passing through the A3 motorway. We were very pleasantly surprised by the staff, who were very welcoming and friendly. The pizzas are delicious, slightly crispy, and the dough is light and easy to digest with fresh toppings. I don't know if this is common in Germany, but we were very surprised to see that pizzas for children under 6 are free... yes, really free, even though they are the regular size. If you're passing through the area (especially via the A3 motorway), don't hesitate to stop by the Pomodorino; it's worth it.

Very good food, very friendly service. We've never been inside before. It's very nicely decorated. I had a Capriciosa pizza. It was an excellent, large portion. I should also mention that our food was ready after about 13 minutes, barely after we ordered. Great. Thanks for the good service.

Super friendly, attentive staff. We started with fresh white bread and olives on the house. The stone-baked pizza was fresh and well-topped within minutes. We were asked if we wanted fresh garlic on the pizzas (30 cents). There was also homemade chili oil. Something we've never experienced before – children up to 6 years old can choose between 3 pasta dishes and 2 pizzas for FREE! Prices are completely reasonable. As I said, great service and nothing to complain about! Keep it up!

I have been to the restaurant several times and can only report positive things. The pizza is indescribably delicious and there is no skimping on the toppings either. The selection of pasta is second to none and also tastes very tasty. The service is also always friendly and courteous.

Since my hotel didn't offer any restaurants last night, I checked to see which Italian restaurants were nearby. The name Pomodorino made me curious and since I speak Italian, I set out to explore the location. There wasn't much going on inside, but there were plenty of people to pick up. I chose a Frutti di Mare pizza and a dry red wine. The red wine was a drinkable Sangiovese at a very reasonable price, I later discovered. The large pizza was tasty, very well topped and the edge came up nicely. There is a small point deduction because the base was not really firm due to the many ingredients and the edge was far from being crispy and bubbly as I know it from Italy. The pizza could have used a little more heat. At this price, however, complaining is on a high level. Where I come from you pay 3-5 euros more for a comparable pizza. The front part was quite loud due to the walls and the continuous glass front facing the street. It doesn't matter, I have a strong voice. Since the staff spoke Italian (which is not always the case anymore), I ordered in Italian and so we continued in the language for most of the evening. Since everything worked like clockwork and the staff was really friendly to other guests, I can't understand the bad reviews. The evening was unexpectedly quite entertaining and in my opinion the Pomodorino can be recommended. Grazie allo staff. It is still a divergent serata. :-)

5 stars – highly recommended! From the start we were greeted with super friendly service. The pizza was incredibly tasty – fresh, crispy and perfectly topped. As a great gesture, we were served homemade bread with olives - a real treat! The draft beer was also very tasty and well chilled. Particularly positive: Everything was very clean, including the toilets, which left a great impression. We are completely satisfied and happy – the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Respect to the whole team – we will definitely be back! A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food and warm service.

We go there regularly to eat delicious Italian food. We were always satisfied and would love to come back. Very nice outdoor area to sit. You can watch the pizza makers making the pizzas. Price performance is very good here.

Here you can get very tasty pizza and a good house wine, and the service is quick and friendly. But you shouldn't make the mistake of ordering a cafe after your meal, as in Italy, you get a cup with brown liquid with traces of coffee beans, on a par with a German coffee, instead of an espresso. That spoiled my mood, but as I said, the food was very good.

Pizzas okay, The cheese on the canneloni is like rubber. Way too fat.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined a lot recently, the sausage on my favorite pepperoni sausage pizza has apparently been changed and it simply doesn't taste like anything anymore, let alone doesn't feel the hint of spiciness. Despite the renovation, nothing was done about the reverberation in the guest room, you sometimes don't understand your own words, it's a shame

Very friendly staff. Real Italians working there. A large pizza costs only 9 euros, and children under 6 years old receive free pizza or pasta. The portions are large, the taste is good, and the service is the best! In particular, be sure to try tiramisu. It’s really delicious!!

We actually come from Frankfurt and were passing through and spontaneously stopped at your place. They are by far the friendliest restaurant I have seen to date. Food was delicious, service was super nice and friendly. What more could you want? My wife and daughter were thrilled! Thanks

I don't understand the good reviews here. Was there the second time because I thought maybe I had a bad day the first time. Only the second time it was just as bad. Unfriendly service, bad pizza and dirty glasses. So that's not possible. Won't go there anymore. After 2 years I was persuaded to go back here. The host is new and it tasted delicious. The service was super friendly. I'll be back.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Europe and believe me when I say that. I am a pizza lover. They make Italian-style pizza here and it tastes absolutely divine. Price? Absolutely unbeatable. I drive 200 km there and back, very often, just because it tastes great.

I can only warmly recommend the pizzeria! The quality of the food is simply outstanding. From the pasta dishes to the delicious pizzas to the perfect calamari - everything tastes fantastic! The drinks are also a real delight. The service staff is world-class: always courteous and very friendly, so you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy is the child-friendliness of the restaurant. For children up to 6 years of age, food is even offered free of charge, which is just great! Overall, everything is exactly how you want it to be. Every visit here will be an all-round successful experience!

Unfortunately I have to correct my previous 5 star review from a few months ago. We've been there again and things have changed for the worse... Our lasagne was burnt and the waiter was very, very pushy. It's also very loud there. Only the tortellini were still as tasty as back then, but that's all.

Bad wine, pizza sola, crowned by bad service, the table was cleared during the meal, including glasses with contents. I can't recommend it.

Super delicious food!!! The young man who served us food was also very friendly! When making the reservation, I asked for a seat in the back, quieter area. Unfortunately unfortunately! We were given a "cat" table right by the door, where it was terribly cold, even though I specifically asked when making the reservation not to have to sit in the "glass palace". We couldn't have found a worse place! The acoustics there were very, very loud and the echo was almost unbearable! Comfortable is different! Too bad!!! Despite the good food, we won't be coming back because of the extremely uncomfortable and unpleasantly loud atmosphere...

Unless you're sitting in the courtyard, the main street is way too loud. The waiters are clearly overworked! You wait far too long for your food, even if there are only three of you. The taste was pretty average.

I had dinner here with friends at the end of April. The service is underground!!!!! After reading through the menu and being asked what you wanted, I said the type of pasta and the number of the pasta sauce, then the unfriendly waiter said what kind of sauce is that!!! It couldn't be more unfriendly. I answered the stupid question. It's your shop, you have to know what you're offering! This wasn't the first time that people were offended by the service.

The price was totally exorbitant for 2 small portions of salad. (24 euros) the lettuce was also sandy and the cut lettuce stalk was under the leaves. Sorry, but delicious is something else.
