Everything was delicious, but the rigatoni carbonara was definitely not filling. It was too expensive. The desserts were also very expensive.

...highly recommended. A really good Italian restaurant that we "discovered" by chance or rather on the recommendation of friends. The four of us had, among other things, a mixed appetizer platter and vitello tonnato (very tasty) and four different main courses, all also very tasty. A really great spaghetti vongole. The pasta still had just the right bite, and the sauce was fantastic. To go with it, there was a delicious Italian draft beer and a delicious dry house wine. To finish, a tiramisu, just like grandma used to make. Great! Thanks! We'll be back.

The food was delicious, and the tiramisu made the evening perfect. Freshly poured Peroni is always good. The staff are incredibly friendly, and they still believe in the good in people – they let us borrow blankets for the rest of the evening, with no deposit or anything like that. Everything's perfect here. 😌

The food was delicious, but far too expensive. The pasta dish with truffles was very small and far too expensive considering it wasn't on the menu.

Eating culture like a fast-food restaurant. I placed my order, and after 3 minutes the bread and dip arrived, followed by a salad a minute later, and another minute later the main course. I hadn't even eaten a slice of bread when the main course was already on the table. It's a shame, because the food wasn't actually bad.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've visited in Hamburg. The service was what you'd expect, but often don't get. The daily specials/blackboard complement the regular menu well. We were able to order the highly recommended carbonara. We were the first guests that day, and the draft beer tasted great (not to be taken for granted). As the restaurant got busier, the noise level naturally rose. But it was perfectly acceptable. The price/performance ratio was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

We come to Hamburg quite often from southern Germany and have definitely found our new favorite Italian restaurant! Everyone in our group of eight guests was delighted with the taste. Impeccable quality. Unfussy, authentic, and creative. I was especially pleased that I was able to spontaneously make some changes to the preparation – a great experience for someone with allergies or intolerances. This shows that the food is fresh and authentic. The service was attentive yet discreet. Thank you for a culinary perfect evening!

Very friendly service – often from the chef himself – and moderate prices for the main course; there's a lunch menu. The main courses, penne arrabiata, spaghetti carbonara, and the like, were delicious and the portions were adequate. We then ordered desserts, which were okay in terms of taste, but rather expensive (between €7 and €10) for a manageable size. You eat in the cellar vault on the edge of an industrial park. Overall, thumbs up.

Highly recommended. The menu was delicious and beautifully presented. The ingredients were of high quality and prepared to perfection. Very sophisticated sauces rounded everything off. Very attentive, pleasant, and friendly service. Everything at a fair price, too. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The best sea bream of my life. We didn't have a reservation, we just walked in on Saturday evening - despite the house being completely sold out, we somehow managed to find a place. Just a great restaurant with really good food!

Somehow it didn't really work that evening, maybe we ordered the wrong thing, maybe our expectations were too high because of the podcast, but we'll definitely be back. The staff was super friendly, but everything took a long time, unfortunately pizza was just ok.

Great Italian restaurant! The starter, with aioli and fresh bread, was delicious and perfectly balanced. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente – the pasta frutti di mare in particular was a real highlight and rarely found in Hamburg in this quality. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. For me, it's a clear no. 1 Italian restaurant in Hamburg!

It was to slow to preparing food

We ate there twice with 5-6 people. It was excellent both evenings! Very tasty food, Peroni on tap, great wines and very warm staff (from the boss to the service to the cook). We'd love to come back!

One of the few Italians who cooks absolutely fresh. Small, fine and cozy. An insider tip for me.

We spontaneously ate here in the evening, were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. The buffalo mozzarella pizza and the pasta with veal ragout are highly recommended. The rose wine was great with it.

Quality, taste and atmosphere are authentic and of high quality. We had lasagna and pizza Bianca with the house red wine. Reasonable prices. Can really be recommended

Yesterday I was there with 10 people for the so-called "pasta party". For a fixed price per person, you get one pasta plate after the other placed in the middle of the table from which all guests at the table can then help themselves. Large and very varied selection of pasta variations (best pesto pasta ever), all very good. Great concept. Service on point and always present, very nice evening, thank you for that... Gladly again....

The taste and quality of the food was really good (we were missing that certain kick and, for example, the tomatoes in the starter were standard vine tomatoes with no taste, hence the deduction). It's best to reserve a table (we did it 1.5 hours in advance) or you have to be really lucky. We expected a little more from the reviews but we weren't disappointed either. Therefore a positive “good”.

We were on a short vacation in Hamburg last year and ended up in Pomanti by chance. We weren't disappointed at all, we were thrilled, so we went there twice in a row for a short vacation this year. The food was very good, the service was friendly and accommodating! We once again felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our visit. As soon as we entered we were greeted with an unfriendly look, which didn't make a good first impression. We then had to wait a full 45 minutes for our food, and that was just the starter. The main course came another 20 minutes later. It was really too long to visit a restaurant. In addition, no card payment is offered, which is a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately we would not recommend the restaurant.

The two of us had a very nice evening at Pomanti on Saturday. Very nice atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and you feel well advised. We chose “Party Pasta” for the meal. The courses of pasta were served at good intervals, is definitely highly recommended, it was very tasty. Absolutely recommended for a lovely evening.

There were four of us, 3 x different pasta, 1 x pizza. I thought my pasta was beautifully prepared, seasoned and presented on the plate. I tried everything from everyone else at the table and it was all delicious and simply well cooked. The atmosphere is very authentic and friendly. The selection of dishes is not large, so it seems to me that the kitchen has perfected the individual dishes over a long time. I would definitely like to recommend the Pomanti restaurant!

Auf der Suche nach einem ansprechenden Restaurant hat es uns von Lemsahl in Richtung Schanzenviertel verschlagen. Schnell einmal im Internert recherchiert und so kamen wir zu dem Restaurante Pomanti. Alle Erwartungen haben sich bestätigt und sogar übertroffen. Das Essen wurde liebevoll zubereitet und auch die Gestaltung auf dem Teller zeugte von hoher Qualität. Alles war sehr schmackhaft. Ein absolutes Lob an den Koch und Inhaber dieses Restaurants. Nicht unerwähnt darf auch die freundliche und umsichtige Bedienung bleiben. Wir kommen gern wieder, auch mit Freunden.

The three of us were there after the fair. Very good taglioni made from a parmesan wheel with truffles, great fillet of squid... nice and glassy with very tasty spinach leaves. My friends' dishes also looked and tasted great. We had a nice evening and will definitely come back.

Habe lange gehadert, ob ich diese Bewertung wirklich schreiben soll. Denn ich befürchte, irgendwann selbst keinen Platz mehr zu bekommen, wenn zu viele Leute mitbekommen, wie schön es hier ist. Einer der wenigen authentischen Läden , dennoch so ist, wie er war. Super nette Bedienung, super gutes Essen, leckere Weine und: bezahlbar. So ein schönes Erlebnis, immer wieder.the best!

A very small, almost hidden Italian restaurant. The food was really good and there was even original Italian beer. Were served quickly. The map is very manageable, but that's a good thing. There's a little bit of everything. My Gorgonzola pizza was nice and fluffy on the edge, well topped and an ideal size. An absolute highlight in terms of taste. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Dieses Mal gab es nur 4 Garnelen zur der Pasta anstatt sonst 6. Und alles ist ausgelaufen in der Tüte.

Wirklich leckeres italienisches Essen zu fairen Preisen. Freundlicher Service, der den Hauptgang auch relativ schnell gebracht hat. Vorab gibt es kostenfrei Brot mit einer Knoblauchcreme - beides schmeckt selbstgemacht und sehr gut. Nach Möglichkeit reservieren, wir saßen so nah am Gang, was der einzige Minuspunkt für uns war. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung.

Lieblingsitaliener! Egal, ob Fisch- oder Fleischgerichte, die Köche haben’s drauf! Außerdem erstklassiger, unaufgeregter Service, guter Wein, Preis-/Leistung spitze. Ich hab hier noch nie was gegessen, was ich nicht am liebsten gleich nochmal bestellt hätte.

Der Mittagstisch ist sehr empfehlenswert. Nicht Pizza oder Pasta, sondern Antipasti und Fleisch oder Fisch.

Besuch war ein Geschäftsessen. Top Bewirtung, Top Speisen, grandiose Weine. Das Restaurant ist auf meiner Liste für einen weitern Besuch, wenn ein Geschäftsessen geplant ist. Oder wenn ich mal privat in Hamburg bin.

Amazing food!!! And friendly prices as well given the quality of the food. We did have to wait a long time for the bill and we’re told we couldn’t pay by card when other customers have been using the card machine just fine.
