Ristorante Bellini in Fulda

Without a reservation, I got a seat on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was well attended. The interior is getting old. The food and service were very good. A really good Italian.

Good food, nice authentic atmosphere. Straightforward, pure, no fuss, just southern Italy. Ischia sends greetings.

Very nice cozy restaurant! The prices are fair and the food tasted great! No long waiting times, as soon as the starter was eaten, the main course arrived quickly! The service at Bellini is always very friendly! The atmosphere is very cozy, cozy and familiar. We will definitely come more often!🍕🍝

Good food at moderate prices. When I asked, I was given rosemary potatoes with my dish free of charge. Very good service. It was very crowded and the ambience was a bit noisy.

We ate very well here. We had to wait a few minutes until the reserved table was free for us. But the pizza was much better than we expected.

I didn't eat there. I asked politely if I could use the toilet and the boss told me I had to pay 2.50 euros for it. I understand that people who don't eat anything are charged money. But 2.50 euros for a visit to the toilet is a disgrace.

Nice restaurant but I wouldn't come back. The base of my pizza was so hard that even though I had a sharp knife, both of my hands hurt halfway through cutting it - cutting the pizza felt like cutting down a tree. The topping was good and tasty, but the base doesn't work at all. I put together my toppings myself instead of from the menu because there weren't enough vegetarian options. I was then charged 16 (!) euros for this even though there were only a few vegetables on it - the pizza almost came back up. Prices are beyond good and bad here - and unfortunately the food isn't worth it. My companion was brought the wrong food twice and had to wait 15 minutes each time. At least the atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly.

We had reserved a table for 5:30 p.m. The table was not free at this time. An announcement from the boss to us guests that we should wait (10 minutes) would probably not be a problem now. We ordered 4 meals, 1 meal came 15 minutes earlier than the other 3 meals. It would be nice if the 4 of us could eat together. The height of impudence was that after 45 minutes a board was placed between our table and the neighboring table and our table became a table with 6 strangers without informing us. And for the boss his behavior is perfectly fine, for us it's underground

A great Italian restaurant, delicious food and, important for some, good gluten-free dishes!

On Saturday we were in Fulda for the first time and in the evening in Bellini. Certainly not the last time. The service was extremely attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. I liked the lentil and bean soup so much that I even ordered it twice and the fish was fabulous. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy, we had a great evening there. Thank you very much to everyone who made this happen. 🥰

Had dinner here today. Top service and very child-friendly. Went here mainly because of our 7 year old daughter who needs to eat gluten free. Pretty much all pasta dishes and pizzas can be ordered gluten-free. Daughter was very happy with her pizza. The normal pizza is also highly recommended. Would love to come back.

Delicious pizza at a reasonable price

We have been coming to this great restaurant for a long time. From the food to the service, we have never been disappointed. We recommend the parmesan spaghetti😁 Will continue to come to eat, thank you very much!

Spaghetti Carbonara was without sauce (parmesan and egg) and with strips of ham... it didn't taste like anything, it was then repaired by pouring cream over it. Food expensive and bad... very disappointing.

Our absolute regular Italian, where everything is just right! Some of the negative reviews are inexplicable. We often see guests who come without a reservation and then have to wait a while. Had dinner there for the first time with my girlfriend today. We were able to choose a table where we wanted to sit down and were given a menu to choose from. There were long waiting times but it was also quite busy and the waiters were very busy. The food was very tasty and sufficient. We'll definitely be back

We were very happy to get a table outside when the weather was good. Then came the disillusionment. After about 20 minutes we were finally able to place our order. When the drinks came, they were barely carbonated. After a complaint, these were replaced, but we were also rudely told that this couldn't be the case. After about 1 hour the food came. 3 of 4 total pizzas. The answer...1 pizza arrives in 1 minute. And the waiter was gone. After 20 minutes we were able to ask again where the pizza was. Instead, we were suddenly spoken to in English. After all, it wouldn't be his problem, said the waiter. After another 10 minutes (all other tables received their pizza) we canceled the pizza and asked for the bill. This again took a very long time. There wasn't even a drink on the house for the missing pizza. Other guests also left the restaurant after not being served. The pizza itself tasted good. So at least a few stars. We won't be coming back!!!

It's really bad, the only good thing is the location of the restaurant. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the menu, we waited 1.5 hours for the food. All the waiters seemed stressed and unfriendly. We ordered an antipasti plate... well, made without love. The gnocchi were simply inedible. I can't recommend the place to anyone

Terrible service!! We were there for the second time, both times we waited more than 20 minutes to even get a ticket, it wasn't really full. When I finally ordered, the wrong thing arrived. You get the feeling that the waiters avoid checking to see if anyone needs anything. In the end he wanted to charge a lot more than what was on the menu. The pizzas themselves are quite OK, the atmosphere outside is of course very nice, hence the 2nd star. Still, it's not worth it to me. Never again!!!

During a visit to the city of Fulda we came across Ristorante Bellini by chance. All we can say is that you can eat very well there, the atmosphere is very nice, it is right in the heart of Fulda. Even though we were there on a Saturday lunchtime and it was very busy, we were served very courteously and quickly. We can therefore highly recommend this Italian restaurant in Fulda. We will definitely visit it again when we travel to this beautiful city again.

There were two of us there and we got a table after a short wait. It was relatively busy, but we were served quickly. The drinks were OK. For dinner we ordered a starter plate (for 2 people), a pizza and a portion of pasta. The starter plate was still okay, but it had never seen salt or pepper before. We had to ask extra for the bread. The pasta was advertised as having pesto, but we got a mixture of pesto and sour cream (?), which tasted more like a ready-made product and a little like homemade. The pizza simply consisted of pizza crust, cheese and a handful of cherry tomatoes. The advertised buffalo mozzarella tasted more like a well-ripened Emmental cheese. The ambience is good and central. This means that the restaurant attracts a lot of guests, but it certainly can't be the food.

We had to wait about 25 minutes for the tickets, even though we made ourselves known several times. The order didn't work either. Our order included a black rooster, but we got a wheat one. After we told the waitress that we wanted to pay, I went to the counter after 15 minutes. Here I was sent back with the words “my colleague is coming soon”. After another 10 minutes we were finally able to pay after someone tried to charge us €10 too much! All in all a complete failure. I advise everyone to remember the prices or add up the costs beforehand! Never again!

You reserve a table and no table is reserved. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. Absolutely not recommended and totally unfriendly staff! Unfortunately, one star is far too many.

We were there and everything was in perfect order, the service staff were all on point. We ordered a salad and since I'm not a salad eater I was really impressed by the taste.

We had a nice meal in the middle of the old town of Fulda with places inside and outside. The appetizer platter was okay and the children's dishes were excellent. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

Food was good, salad wasn't washed well (sandy) but was replaced without any problems.

Nice location, but that's all. Seating outside on bar stools and waiting 10 minutes for a card. When you then say that you just want something to drink, you are given a deadline of 20 minutes. Drinks came quickly, but 45 minutes after ordering and the deadline, no one was there for the bill. More appearance than reality.

Mistakes that can happen are not acknowledged. Sometimes a simple little apology would help. A pity!

We really love the restaurant. There are lots of gluten free options! (There's even gluten-free bread on the house as a starter) The waiter was super attentive and explained everything to us. Highly recommended ☺️

Food was okay, but nothing special. The artichokes were missing from my calzone. Felt unseasoned and quite bland. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as beautifully presented either. My partner's pizza caprese was quite good. Card payment was accepted. Dogs were welcome and given a water bowl.

If, instead of a polite greeting, you receive the information that you can only have the reserved table for 2 hours, but then have to wait over 1 1/2 hours for the food, then that's not right. The staff seemed stressed when we were here. We didn't feel comfortable because (that's why?) the service fell by the wayside. We were able to have dessert, for example. E.g. don't order anything anymore.

Ein Kellner kommt an den Tisch, macht im Kopf die Rechnung und lässt uns 4,50 € mehr zahlen, als wir eigentlich hätten zahlen sollen. Wir haben es zu Hause bemerkt, als wir uns die Preise auf der Speisekarte angesehen haben. Schlechtes durchschnittliches Essen, und es tut mir leid, aber für den Fehler von 4,50 € werden wir nicht wiederkommen. sie gaben sich selbst Trinkgeld.

Yesterday there was a lot of activity in Fulda. Cathedral square concert and musical in the castle theater. Accordingly, all the restaurants are overcrowded. But here they tried to create a place for every guest. All the waiters remained friendly despite the stress 👍. The pizza was delicious and the salad too. I can't fully understand the negative reviews. People must have had a very bad day.

We reserved a table for 5 people on a Saturday evening. When we arrived at the restaurant we asked the (presumably) boss for our table. He told us quite briskly with the words: "Nothing free! You have to wait!" at. When we asked how long it would take, we (women, all in their mid-30s) were again called by first names, this time even more cheekily: "What do I know? You can see that everything is full!" We would have liked to have left at that point, but it is now impossible to spontaneously get a table somewhere else on a Saturday evening in FD...so we waited 15 minutes until the table became available. From that moment on we were ignored the entire evening and the waitress only came to us after repeated requests. The drinks arrived along with the food after waiting over an hour. I understand if the meal takes longer in such a full restaurant. But the drinks?? All in all it was a terrible visit and we won't be coming back. The food itself is rather expensive, but the taste is below average.

The pizzeria was very busy. Despite many guests, we felt very comfortable. The pizza was very tasty and the tagliatelle with spicy eggplant tomato sauce was delicious. The service was top. We'll definitely come back. Mille Grazie

Ich denke es war sogar der Chef selbst. So eine unfreundliche Behandlung haben wir noch nie erlebt. Also nur 2 von 3 Personen etwas essen wollten sagte der doch glatt zu der Bestellung mit nur einem Getränk - das wäre ein Restaurant und keine Bar. Essen dann maximal nur durchschnittlich. Aber der Ton änderte sich zu keiner Zeit. Nie, nie wieder.

Keine Begrüßung, sofortige militärartige Anweisungen: Tisch, Regenschirme dürfen nicht mit ins Lokal genommen werden, persönliche Ansprache vom Inhaber, kein Lächeln oder Freundlichkeit über den ganzen Abend! Pure Arroganz gepaart mit schlechtesten Service überhaupt. Dreckige Tische und Unterlegdecken, Getränke waren schnell da. Essen war mittelmäßig. Der einzigste lächelnde in diesem Restaurant, war das Gesicht, der Öl-Essig-Vorspeise. Nach 40 min gesellte sich endlich einer der 3 Servicekräfte an den Tisch, nachdem man uns nachdem Hauptgang und der Verneinung einer Vorspeise komplett ignorierte. Die Krönung war dann die Bestellung des Desserts., welches alles erlebte noch einmal toppt. Nur eine Person bestellte ein Dessert. Nach der Nachfrage der Servicekraft, ob dieses für alle am Tisch sei, wurde dies verneint, da niemand sonst ein Dessert wollte. Stattdessen wurde der Person, mit dem Wunsch nach einem Dessert, an den Kopf geworfen, er sei ein Egoist, da er das Dessert nicht teilen möchte! Dies widerspricht jeglichem respektvollen Umgangston zu einem Gast! Es rundete die Erlebnisse und Eindrücke des ganzen Abend ab: Respektlosigkeit mit Unfreundlichkeit! Da verging einem der Appetit! Nein Danke! Nie wieder!

Das war für mich die schlechteste Pizza, die ich jemals gegessen hab. Mit italienisch hatte das nichts zu tun. Bei meiner Frau waren Kartoffeln auf dem Teller, was nicht in der Speisekarte ersichtlich war. Mit Salz wurde nicht gespart.

Bellissimo! Smiled to see the restaurant name written with balsamic vinegar in the olive oil! We shared several vegetarian dishes and all were delicious. Gnocchi in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce was a popular favourite.

The food is always a pleasure, whether it's a salad, pizza, pasta or another culinary delight. The ambience and the service, simply great.

Disgraceful customer treatment, they usually say the customer is king, but definitely not in this case. While delivering, the waiter broke the cola glass on the table, which made my partner's pants wet. The waiter apologized and brought a new glass. Nevertheless, the light-colored pants were completely wet, which made the evening unpleasant. So I asked the boss if he could give us a small discount, e.g. serve free dessert. The boss angrily refused and said that we were being impertinent to ask such a thing. I think that in such cases in other restaurants the store will be very accommodating. That wasn't the case here. Otherwise the pizza was made quickly, which suggests that it wasn't quite as fresh and tasted accordingly. 1 star is completely fair to the store

My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice location for dinner on the holiday (3-day city trip in Fulda). Since we were in the mood for pizza, we looked for pizzerias. Thank God it wasn't a problem getting a table without a reservation. Nice atmosphere inside, very friendly and attentive service. I had a pizza with ratatouille vegetables and feta cheese, my girlfriend had one with seafood. Very very tasty. Reasonable prices. We would come again and recommend the restaurant.

The place is a good place to meet up with friends or chat with colleagues on a business trip after work, drink a beer and eat a pizza. Personally, I wouldn't use it for a date. Somehow the coziness is missing. The waiters walk quickly, so it seems kind of hectic. The pizza was okay, that's it. It wasn't a taste highlight. The drinks are relatively expensive. Incomprehensible: Coca Cola (with sugar) 0.3 l for €3.50; Cola Zero / Cola Light (without sugar) 0.33 l for €4.50. At some point I'll come back, for example if there is no alternative.

I ate at Bellini twice within a few weeks of each other and noticed that as a guest you don't receive the same service every time. On my first visit I was served bread with olive oil as a complimentary starter, which I thought was great. At the time, however, I had already noticed that unfortunately not all guests were given this nice extra. Shortly after me, guests arrived and, like me, ordered pizza. However, while I was given bread in advance, as already mentioned, the two guests were not given this and were instead served their pizza straight away. Well, the second time, it was the other way around. While the guests at my next table were served bread with olive oil, this time I went away empty-handed. I want to be clear: I'm not interested in getting a free appetizer. If the bread were on the menu, I would also order it because I love bread and think it's nice to have a small starter in this form. The fact that it is ACTUALLY served additionally at Bellini is really great. However, it should be handled consistently so that all guests are either always served bread before the actual meal or not at all. Once like this and another time like that is not good form and will result in you leaving the restaurant not so happy. The food is ok, although the pizza, in my case a Margherita, was unfortunately in the oven for too long last time, which meant the dough was too hard and the cheese was too dry. On my last two visits the waiters were very friendly. I had no direct contact with the boss, whose alleged lack of friendliness is complained about in many reviews here, but last time he actually walked through the restaurant with a very grumpy look. Here it would be nice if, as the owner, he would be more friendly towards the guests and ask if everything is OK and, above all, smile sometimes.

No quality ingredients, dreary, tasteless, pizza drowned in oil from cheese, no herbs, no fresh basil. It was just very sad to serve the food like that for that price. We understand the everyday citizen who comes here and has food just shoved into their body. But if you know Italy, for whom food is important... I'll put it this way. We won't be coming back. I wasn't unique in my opinion of the food that day. A pity. A great location. Maybe you should put less on the map here and more Italy.

Nice service, great ambience, the picture wall collage is awesome A huge selection of dishes which is very nice - the pizza and pasta are also made gluten and lactose-free for guests upon request - a big plus and in terms of taste we can only recommend them. Food delicious... Long waiting times for the food... In the end the boss forced us to pay and basically threw us out... A no go!!!! Was the last visit!!!
