Hello, that was the worst room/hotel booking I've ever made. To start with, I booked a deluxe room through booking.com with a TV, bathroom, and everything you need. From the photos, it was really cozy and tidy. So I booked and got confirmation. When I got there, they told me there were no rooms available and they could drive me 20km away to a village where they had a room. I didn't accept it, of course. They told me to wait a bit longer, so I waited exactly 70 minutes downstairs in the restaurant until they showed me the room. I couldn't believe my eyes. There were about 5-6 rooms. Every door was broken. They all shared a bathroom and a small TV. There wasn't even a door handle in the room, let alone a window that could be opened because the handle was also broken. And all of this was under the roof in at least 30°C. It was an absolute horror movie.

A very good Italian restaurant. We've always had excellent meals there. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is quick and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are generous. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a lasagna. It was very small. About the size of a cigarette pack. Since the lasagna dish was considerably larger, it was filled with a thin cream sauce. A side salad must be ordered separately with all dishes here and is generic and standard. For some unknown reason, it was gritty. I gave it an overall rating of three stars with a wink of an eye.

La Romantica – a truly beautiful name for a pizzeria that aims to bring the feeling and taste of Italy to Fulda. But unfortunately, in the eyes of the owner, romanticism is only the money of a one-time tourist customer. But let's start with the good things: The pasta with truffles, which is rolled in a cheese wheel, deserves special mention. It looks cool and we guests enjoyed it too. However, we had to wait 2.5 hours for this cheese highlight because we were simply forgotten in the planning and by the on-site service. We were already considering ordering something else via a delivery service. The pizza and steak were good – apart from the preparation time – but my salmon was unfortunately more than dead. Reading the reviews here, this is unfortunately the case. There is no apology from the staff, since YOU are simply a one-time customer. And that's exactly where my complaint comes in: Mistakes happen – okay – but we're all customers who should be treated with respect. A free drink would have been the absolute minimum here. A sense of insight into the mistake – zero. Personally, I would be ashamed to allow such unfriendly behavior in my restaurant – bitter.

The restaurant lives up to its name; the food was top-notch! The waiters were very friendly and attentive; there was beef carpaccio, veal chops with spaghetti aioli, and pork fillet with potatoes and vegetables; everything was simply delicious! A truly beautiful restaurant in Fulda! The service is excellent – ​​attentive and friendly. The food is also impressive. The spinach soup with chanterelles was a delight, the roasted salmon was cooked to perfection, and the giant macaroni with arugula, Parmesan, and wild ham are highly recommended. There's also a very good wine selection that perfectly rounds out the meal. My only criticism – and I want to emphasize this: The menu offers two varieties of Lugana. If I, as a guest, order a Lugana, I expect that wine and not to end up being charged for the more expensive Lugana Frascati. This seems a little lacking in transparency and is anything but motivating for customers to trust the menu next time. Precisely because everything else is so consistent, this point unfortunately stands out as a particularly negative one. Even more disappointing is when you mention it at the end when paying, only to find that the chef who served you is no longer there, and the server refuses to refund the €14 as a gesture of goodwill. That makes a very, very bad impression. €58 for four glasses of wine. Conclusion: A good restaurant with good food and service – but I wish there was more clarity and honesty in the wine selection.

A very nice pizzeria, I can recommend it. The food was delicious, and the staff were also very friendly. I was very pleased that after the starter, we were asked whether the main course should wait a bit so we could digest it a bit. This way, everything didn't come so quickly, and you could enjoy the evening/stay more.

That was the last time we were here. The Coke was stale, the bruschetta bread was inedible, as if it were already two days old. Not once was anyone asked if everything was okay. The response to the bread being too hard was a brisk "you should have told us that earlier," no "we're sorry" or "we'll buy you a shot." Very unfriendly service.

The outside seating is very pleasant and quiet. Not like a strip mall. And go inside. One of the nicest Italian restaurants I've ever seen. The service is brisk and chaotic, but OK. The food: Saltimbocca is also OK. However, the broccoli was too soft and the meat could be of better quality. I can recommend it, though. The pizza is supposed to be good.

We were there for lunch on a Sunday. We hadn't paid attention to the daily specials on the boards outside the restaurant and asked the waiter to tell us what was on them. It was apparently too much for him, because he asked us to go back outside and look for ourselves. He was cheeky. We had a dish with salmon. One was baby calamari and the other was spaghetti carbonara. When I ordered the carbonara, the waiter came back to the table and said that they made the carbonara the original Italian way, meaning without cream. That's what I expect when I go to an Italian restaurant. I then mentioned that they would also use guanciale, which was confirmed. We had to wait quite a long time for the food. The calamari were very good, the salmon was quite darkly seared but still okay. However, since I make very good carbonara myself, I was very disappointed here. It was very dry and they didn't use guanciale, just pancetta, which is a shame. The staff seemed very stressed; one waiter smelled strongly of sweat, another cut the bread with his bare hands without a cloth. The restaurant had a rustic decor, and guests had written their names on the walls. The tablecloths were stained. There was apparently no toilet paper in the women's restroom, but the numerous complaints from female guests didn't lead to any action. I probably won't go there again; there are plenty of alternatives in Fulda.

Today, among other dishes, we had pasta with grated truffle, which was freshly tossed and prepared at our table in a Parmesan cheese wheel before our very eyes. Looking around the restaurant, you get the impression that the other guests are at least equally satisfied. We'd be happy to return anytime!

The service was friendly. The "Chocolate Dream" sundae for €8 only had three scoops of ice cream, and none of them were chocolate. A bit of chocolate sauce and shavings is all you get. The taste was acceptable.

On a Saturday night, with a concert going on, people are waiting over an hour for their food! The whole concept is flawed. One server is outside, and the other brings out a plate every 15 minutes. Unbelievable. You order a Coke Zero and get a still Pepsi in a glass.

I'm writing this review for the bar and ice cream parlor "La Romantica" – unfortunately, they don't seem to have their own Google page. This isn't the first time I've been treated unfriendly there, and I'm pretty sure it's no coincidence. The first time, I thought maybe the employees were just tired or stressed, but that had nothing to do with me. This time, I was sitting outside at the tables, eating my ice cream, and recording a voice message for a friend. Suddenly, an employee came up to me and said, "Shhh..." in a very rude tone. I wasn't being loud, nor was I disturbing anyone; I was sitting outside, after all. Even if I had been loud, they could have politely pointed it out. Overall, it seems like they have no interest in satisfied or new customers. It's a shame.

I've always enjoyed going there and have often recommended it in the past. Unfortunately, today I had a disappointing experience that I didn't expect. I ordered the lasagna, which I've eaten there a few times before and always found delicious. After a few bites, we noticed that something was wrong with the béchamel sauce. The smell clearly suggested sour milk, and the consistency wasn't what it usually is. These things can happen, of course; it's a very warm day, and mistakes can happen. What really disappointed me, however, was the way our feedback was handled. I went to the counter alone to the waitress to calmly and politely clarify the matter. Instead of showing understanding or at least taking the matter seriously, our criticism was immediately dismissed. They simply said that béchamel sauce should taste like that—even though it was clearly noticeable that something was wrong. Despite everything, we ended up paying the full price—which we did to avoid causing any trouble. It's a shame, but we definitely won't be coming back.

The tiramisu was tasty, but the waiting time for the waiter to show up so I could pay was way too long.

We were back in Fulda for a short stay and ate here twice. We were greeted as if we were there every week, even though the last time was five months ago. We would be, too, if we lived in Fulda. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and good wines. The value for money and the service were excellent. We'll be happy to go there again!

The menu is small but clear, and the pizza was delicious, albeit a bit more sparsely topped than expected. We found the wine prices to be significantly inflated. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 45 minutes for the food – and the bill also took 30 minutes. The service staff was friendly and attentive, but seemed overwhelmed at times. However, depending on the waiter, the service was sometimes rather unfriendly and artificially tried to create a stressful atmosphere where there really wasn't one. Other waiters, on the other hand, were very friendly and accommodating, like the gentleman who freshly prepared the pasta made from a Parmesan rind at our table.

We were sitting outside at the ice cream parlor across the street. Everything went wrong here. When I ordered, the waiter didn't even look at me, and then he didn't want to accept that I wanted lemon sorbet in a clean glass without chocolate chunks. When the drinks still hadn't arrived, and we were annoyed, his response was, "Boss, slow down, it's stressful!"

I have to give a bad review even though only ONE of the waiters was so nice that's why I put 3 stars for food but: Ordering a lemonade and having it sold to me as fanta? That's ridiculous, lemonade is water with lemon and fanta is fanta and to be told that fanta means lemonade in Italy? Do they think I've never been to Italy? I got really angry and the waiter who left almost insulting us after leaving the drinks I don't understand why he works there if he hates his job. They didn't offer us a baby seat for the baby we had and another table had a baby seat. They didn't give us the pasta carbonada as it was supposed to be but just gave it to us on a plate while the other table was served right there with the whole service it's a shame I was excited and really wouldn't go back there. My friend was not offered the spoon for her soup I had to give her mine. Enserió if you are so irritated by your job better look for something in the home office. Only one waiter was really nice and I think only if I was served by him would I go back but I don't think I'll ever want to go back.

The pizzas were great, super tasty! We had reserved a table, but didn't see the main restaurant and thought we would have to go to the "delicatessen" where there were also tables and people sitting. The employee constantly had to run to the main restaurant across the street to get food or drinks. As a result, the door kept opening and closing and it got cold. So if you want to go there and into the main restaurant, make sure you sit there too. We were strangers in Fulda and had ourselves guided. Since the restaurant name is on both locations, we couldn't recognize it.
