Ristorante Bella Italia in Halle (Saale)

Anyone who comes to Halle will definitely be invited to linger in the outdoor area (central market location) in summer and here in the cooler season. Here you are invited to Italy not only with good gastronomy but also with the ambience. The vaulted cellar in the underground restaurant (cellar accessible via a side entrance) offers a special experience, analogous to the Auerbachkeller Leipzig. The price-performance ratio is convincing. It is partly prepared by eye (by a chef, of course). Attention: for me it was very extensive. It is also shared via a “robber plate” for the other partner.

This was our second time at Bella Italia and we were thrilled every time! Very tasty food, the pizza dough was really thin and had great toppings - that's how it should be. We would love to come back!🙂

Very nicely decorated. There were eight of us and we had plenty of space, we didn't sit squashed together to save space, very pleasant. Extremely attentive but never intrusive staff. All wishes were fulfilled. Nobody had to wait for a drink refill. Super delicious food. Huge, crispy pizza, beautifully presented plates with wonderful pasta creations. Everyone ate their meal so as not to give any of the delicious food back. Extremely fair prices. Gladly again at any time.

We have been there several times. Pizza is the best in Halle and so is the pasta. Service always friendly and accommodating. We will continue to go to our new favorite Italian restaurant.

From the friendly welcome by the staff to the farewell by the staff, you always feel welcome here and the food tastes fantastic. You can look directly over the pizza maker's shoulder in the ristorante, which stands for the transparency of fresh products. Regardless of whether we are at Ristorante Bella Italia for business or pleasure, it is always a pleasure for us to come here. Whether summer (outside) or winter (indoor), food and drinks are freshly prepared and the price/performance ratio is absolutely there. If you like to eat your pizza, pasta or salads at home, you can also have the items delivered or pick them up yourself. Same portion, same taste. We are happy to come here at any time. Thanks. :)

Always tastes good, a place to feel good!!!

We ate dinner there first... When you entered the restaurant you were immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We were seated at a very romantic table for two...which of course my wife really liked... It didn't take long before the waiter came with the menu. We order a bottle of sparkling water and two Wild Berry Lillet... As a starter we ordered a menu of two starters... homemade pizza bread was served... you could even watch it being made... For the main course...I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the tagliatelle with scampi and salmon... Both were an absolute dream 👌 The waiters were very attentive and made sure that everything was tasty..everything was satisfactory..they even wished you had a good appetite.. In terms of time, you didn't have to wait that long for your food, even though the restaurant gradually filled up. The bill of exactly 69€ was definitely more than okay for the great food.. We will definitely stop there again next time we are in Halle.. Price performance fits 👍

Allergens on the ice cream menu are incorrect. The supposedly dairy-free varieties are not dairy-free, they all contain lactose.

We had to wait 20 minutes before we were noticed and unfortunately we noticed how unfriendly the staff was.

So if you need it, please buy a scoop of ice cream for €1.60, for that price there is a black-haired woman who prefers to talk on the phone and is annoyed when she has to work, and she also can't wait to go smoke after she sweetly and listlessly sells ice cream has ! Too bad!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Bella Italia restaurant in Halle. We were there on September 7, 24 in the afternoon to have something to eat. I really don't want to describe this place as a tourist trap. The atmosphere is very pleasant even though it is located right on the market square. The staff is also friendly, competent and quick across the board. However, the food didn't convince us at all. My wife ordered the spaghetti “Laura”. The pasta was aldente, but neither the sauce nor the meatballs were tasty and could be described as rather plain. Just not a special taste experience for around €13. I had a pizza with tuna for €14. Sorry, but this was really on Dr. Oetker level. Not only was it not crispy, it was completely soggy mush. The tuna seemed to me to come from a can and there was no particular taste of basil or oregano.

Had the Spaghetti Carbonara Italian style and the Penne Arabiatta. Both pastas were cooked al dente to perfection. The Arabiatta was perfectly seasoned, not too spicy but not too bland either. The carbonara was also very tasty. Some pepper was missing. However, it is at the table and can be seasoned independently. Definitely recommended

Order a children's sundae and a brittle sundae with an additional banana. (Emphasis on a banana!!!) Total price according to the menu is €13.60 The charge was actually €17.60!!! A surcharge of €4 for ONE banana!!! This is not only brazen but a rip off! Even addressing this “impudence” only brought us an arrogant shrug of the shoulders. That would be the case. I can definitely advise against it for everyone. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the great taste of the ice cream.

Super friendly staff, great food and a wonderful ambience

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice. Pleasant music… everything wonderful. If you hadn't waited ages for service. The terrace was well filled. There were 2 boys there but unfortunately they preferred chatting and laughing with friends rather than taking care of their guests. I wasn't the only one who felt this way. Sorry but that's just bad

Beautiful restaurant with super friendly and competent staff. The food is super delicious! There is a huge selection and you don't have to wait long, even if all the tables are occupied. We go there very often. I can only recommend the Bella Italia in Halle!

We just wanted to eat an ice cream sundae or something similar, but payment is only possible in cash. Nevertheless, there is a surprisingly large selection of ice cream flavors, cups and other small dishes, such as crepes, waffles, etc. However, the cards looked very worn out, and one of them was even missing the entire inside. The service came quickly and made a friendly impression. Next time we'll bring cash and try again :D

Unfortunately my visit to Ristorante Bella Italia in Halle was very disappointing. I ordered an iced coffee, but the drink was just terrible: tasteless, watery and obviously not fresh. When I pointed out the quality of the coffee to the waiter, he responded indifferently and rudely. The overall service was very poor - there was a lack of attention and respect for customers. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

They brought me cold coffee, it was very bitter, they didn't want to change it and told me to add sugar (but since it's a cold drink the sugar can't melt) and I have to pay for it. the taste was disgusting. The man who spoke to me has no idea how to communicate with customers, he would like to close this restaurant. The man said if people don't like the taste, then that's the customers' problem. I do not recommend this facility if you value time and money. If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would do so. In good companies, the customer is always right and changes everything if they don't like something. Don't set foot here again. Please come here to check it out and never come back

Great service and the food was really good.

The food was really bad. I ordered pesto pasta which was white and tasted like Mac and cheese and not pesto at all. I really hated the pasta’s

Really, really, REALLY good ice cream, very tasty coffee/espresso and wonderful, huge portions of fresh fruit on the sundae. My recommendation: definitely try the tiramisu with fruit! A dream!

It's okay, but there are better ice cream parlors! The ice cream parlor has plenty of outdoor seating options. The foot traffic between the outside area and the restaurant is disruptive. I sat on the bench/couch and was very disturbed by it. The service was very quick to take the order and also very friendly. The ice cream sundae was ready in no time. The ice cream was good, but unfortunately the fruit was already past its ripeness point and there was no need to offer it anymore. Very unfortunate.

We actually didn't want to go here because of the rather negative reviews, but then we would have really missed something. The staff greeted you in a friendly manner and showed you your seat. The selection on the menu was really large and the prices were absolutely reasonable. And the food was really convincing, probably some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten here in Germany. Even after the second visit I can absolutely confirm the statement. The restaurant is therefore an absolute recommendation!

The restaurant is located in a stuffy basement. The large salad consists almost entirely of iceberg lettuce. The quality is so-so. Tomatoes taste like nothing - grated mozzarella on top. No dressing. Very turkey breast and not even fresh.

Unfortunately, I was not noticed as a guest (early afternoon in the outside area) and neither received a card nor was I spoken to or looked at in any way. There weren't that many guests (8 tables maybe) and enough waiters on site (3-4). Some tables around me were cashed out. After 20 minutes (after the rain shower was over) I left because I didn't want to beg to be served. Side note: One of the waiters was standing at the ice cream truck, leisurely drinking cola, while the saleswoman from the ice cream truck was leisurely walking through the guest area with a fag in her hand. A gentleman who I would classify as a boss was not willing to offer 2 older women a dry place or even just look at it, even though 2 tables had just opened up next to me. After an obviously flippant remark (something like “yes, it just rained, I can’t change it”), the ladies then moved on to the shop opposite. Why he listlessly dried the tables instead of getting a towel for the chairs is a mystery to me. Just like the other waiters didn't seem to be trying very hard to make the outside area fully usable again after the short rain shower. There doesn't seem to be any team spirit here. It's a shame, if you look at the other reviews, some of the food is quite good

Good location, lots of seats, very tasty food. Price performance is great. The only disadvantage: Although the service is very friendly, they smoke in the entrance area in front of customers who are eating. It sometimes happens that you get a bit of ash, which unfortunately I don't find very pleasant.

A hidden gem. You walk down a number of stairs and suddenly you feel like you are in Italy. A very cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal! Enjoyed! It was difficult that the service hardly spoke English. But with hand and foot work you can come a long way.

An Italian restaurant in the basement, which I personally find excellent in terms of ambience. The service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was well prepared and tasted very good! The restaurant is very good and the service is very friendly. The food tastes very good, the selection is really good. 5 stars for all categories. In contrast, the Cafe Rialto next door is a disaster. I sat outside for a while and no one came, then I went to the bar and ordered 2 espressos. Answer: “You can only place orders outside”. Then the waitress came out and asked me what I would like to order. When I said 2 espressos like I told her at the bar she became rude. As the owner, I would have thrown them out immediately. I can only give this cafe one star and zero stars for the service

Expensive, cash only and unhygienic, I ordered a crepe with Nutella and they just put small wrapped Nutella on the food, I have no idea how many people had that in their hands, let alone how lazy you can be... Waiters friendly Service quick

I can only recommend the Italian restaurant, I paid €17 for a calzone and a coke. The calzone was very tasty. Tomato sauce with minced meat was served so that you could spread the edges yourself. Service was good 👍. I can only recommend it and would go there again.

April starts off warm in early summer, and so the area in front of the ice cream parlor is well occupied. The service is efficient. As usual, I test the walnut cup. It comes quickly, but I send it back after a few spoonfuls because of an eyelash in the ice cream. A replacement will be made, but there will be no apology. A display in front of the sales van makes it clear that the Rialto also faces other challenges. Conclusion: Nice location, eyelash in the ice. The food was good. Unfortunately, the daily special was not pointed out or even mentioned. Unfortunately, the service also left a lot to be desired. Sometimes you had to wait 30 minutes for drinks to be ordered or you had to ask several times.

Spontaneously decided to eat pizza. Pizza was tasty but not made. After asking whether the pizza could be packed, the waiter actually folded my pizza up, wrapped it in aluminum foil and put it in a delivery bag and then explained to me that the pizza box costs €0.30. Mind you, we had a bill for €60. I would have liked to have paid for the box and taken my pizza with me properly. For now, that's all over and done for me. Addendum. And you cheat too. Just looked at the receipt today and noticed that wine was charged twice even though I only drank once. You should always look closely at the receipt. Learned something again.

We wanted to go out to eat with friends because we were nearby. So I looked for a pizzeria. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown where we could sit down. The service was very friendly and ordering was quick and delivered to the table quickly. The pizzas were very tasty and tasted just like the ones we know from Italy. We can only give one recommendation and would come back at any time. Thank you very much for your hospitality

A pleasant meal in the restaurant. Relatively short waiting time but everything was normal, nice staff and fast service. Unfortunately there was only one problem - we hadn't eaten everything completely and wanted to have our leftovers packed up... unfortunately the pizza was rolled up like a dürüm and packed in aluminum foil but everything was very good for this little mistake.

03/30/24: we have an appetite, don't know our way around and are looking for a restaurant in the city of Halle. After wandering around for 30 minutes, we realized that it wasn't easy. But luckily we found what we were looking for on the market square. Here we were finally able to settle down and enjoy a good meal. The espresso afterwards was the finest, as was the friendly atmosphere and family service. Conclusion: always happy 😉

The first beautiful warm day and then such sad service with annoyed and stressed waiters. Cold coffee with milk and a very long waiting time… What a shame…. Definitely won't come back.

A great restaurant that I also like to use for business meals. I would particularly like to emphasize the extremely friendly and courteous service. The menu offers something for everyone and the dishes are always impressive.

We ordered from Bella Italia. The spagetti Algio Olio had cheese on it, even though it wasn't stated on the menu, and our vegan could therefore no longer eat it. Very annoying! In general, it's a shame that there's only one pasta dish without meat, as the pizzeria hasn't quite arrived in the 21st century yet... The pizza was very tasty and relatively large. The price for the Margeritha is still okay, the other pizzas are definitely overpriced.

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat or drink anything. My girlfriend and I wanted to have a coffee there and I wanted to go to the toilet (I wasn't feeling well) (...). When we asked if we could pay by card, we were told that this was not possible. Funny for today. My girlfriend left the store and I was on the way to the toilet...until I was shouted at from behind, across the store, very loudly and unfriendly by a female waitress wearing heavy make-up: Toilet costs 50 cents, otherwise get out!" Me I was absolutely shocked and all the other guests were staring at me! I couldn't have read the sign with this information even from a distance and it wouldn't have been a problem. I gave the unfriendly lady 60 cents because I didn't have anything else to say and didn't get any change(!). An absolutely out of the question way of dealing with people!

Dangerous to health! Ice cream is served in broken glasses. Be careful not to eat broken glass. In addition, there are large pieces of ice in the ice, which indicates improper storage.

Nice restaurant. Food was on the table after 5 minutes. You also have to say that we were only there 5 minutes before the kitchen closed ^^ So during the week the kitchen closes at 9 p.m., which would be nice if it had been mentioned somewhere online. ^^

Die Bandbreite der Karte eröffnet einen Gaumenschmauß an Südländer-Kulinarik mit ganzjähriger "minimaler Tellerkunst" & saisonalem Wechsel, ganz nach individuellen Wünschen... Das Team von "Bella Italia" zeigt sich jedem Gast gegenüber auf typisch kulturelle Art & Weise, sehr freundlich, sehr stilvoll und für jeden Extrawunsch offen... Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Spaghetti Carbonara...:)

Sowohl der Eiskaffee, als auch die beiden Speisen mit Erdbeeren waren super lecker!! Besonders gut am Eiskaffe war, dass dort auch eine Kugel Moccaeis mit drin war. Die Kellner sind alle super nett und es geht total schnell.🍨☕️ Das einzige was wirklich schlimm ist sind die Toiletten…

Als Café eignet sich dieser Ort sehr gut! Die herzhaften Mahlzeiten haben wir leider nicht probiert. Die Eisbecher waren gut, jedoch nicht immer ganz den Bildern und der Beschreibung auf der Speisekarte entsprechend. Es waren allerdings nur minimale und eher weniger wichtige Abweichungen, da es nur die Garnitur betraf. Ich finde die Preise für die Leistung ein wenig teuer, aber sie werden durch die super Lage am Markt für mich gerechtfertigt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell, hier kann man jedoch nur in Bar bezahlen.

Mega tolles Essen !!!!!! Für mich die beste Pizza in Halle.

Ich fand das Eis gut, aber einer der Mitarbeiter des Restaurants hat obwohl ich da saß einen der Schirme zu gemacht hat und unglücklicherweise lag auf dem Schirm eine Menge Regenwasser das dadurch auf mich nieder prasste deshalb 3 Sterne trotzdem würde ich es weiter empfehlen.

Das Eis, welches in der Eisdiele serviert wird, schmeckt anders. Heute mal eine Kugel zum mitnehmen auf die Hand am Stand draußen gekauft. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, auch die Portion war sehr groß. Leider war das Eis meiner Meinung nach kein echtes italienisches Eis, so wie ich es erwartet hätte. Es schmeckte einfach nur nach Wasser, war nicht cremig und zerfloss sofort. Weiterhin türmte sich das was als Eiscreme bezeichnet wurde, auf den Kübeln turmartig auf ..., ehrlich gesagt schmeckte es nach einer Eismischung, welche mit Wasser zubereitet wird. Sehr schade. Da bin ich mit einem Eis aus dem Supermarkt besser bedient.

Softeis am Stand nebenan gekauft, gehört zum selben Eiscafe! Mein Sohn wollte aber einen Eisbecher, wir setzen uns also mit unserem Softeis ins Café, wurden direkt unfreundlich vom Kellner angesprochen das wir uns ja damit nicht hierhin setzen dürfen. Das war definitiv mein letzter Besuch in diesem Eiscafe.
