Delicious food to take away or eat there quickly. We had the Rissani plate for 2 people and came to 20 euros with 2 cans of Fanta and 1 Ayran. The food was good and sufficient, we packed the rest. The hummus tasted very tasty. The gentlemen behind the counter were very nice and responded to our requests. The point deduction is due to the overall appearance, very simple and without atmosphere, so not recommended for a romantic date😉.

Most fulfilling and delicious shawarma I ever ate. And its only 4.5 euros! I recommend it with garlic mayonnaise

What has happened here in the last few years? People used to rave about this store and now no one wants to go there anymore. It just doesn't taste good anymore. I have no idea what they changed. Dry, poorly seasoned, soggy, loveless. The staff is very friendly, that's about it. The ambience, the shop also seems very run down, both inside and outside. It stinks outside the door. Here you are in the middle of Kreuzberg, the eyesore of Berlin, but you should still be able to do a renovation. That was our last visit.

Top shop, I've been eating there since 2010 The shawarma itself was outstanding - the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, with a crispy crust that made every bite a delight. The side dishes were also very good, especially the homemade sauces, which gave the dish an additional depth of flavor. The portions were generous, so you'll definitely be full. The friendly service is particularly noteworthy. The staff was attentive and courteous, and my order was processed quickly and efficiently. The price-performance ratio was also absolutely fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the ingredients.

The service was quite friendly and the food was quickly put on the plate. Unfortunately it doesn't taste as good as it used to. The falafel were ok, but the shawarma, hummus and the salad were somehow not fresh and not well seasoned... even the hot sauce tasted watery. Sorry guys, I used to go there a lot... but that's not the case anymore!

So sad. I've been a regular customer since 2006. It was without question the best shawarma in Berlin. Totally different now. Potatoes were raw in the middle. Bread is different. White cabbage not finely chopped. Huge pickled vegetable slices so you can't taste anything else. Rissani I love you! What happened?!

After the renovation, unfortunately everything was still the same. I took a mixed plate, unfortunately it was cold and the quality had deteriorated a lot. It used to be good 10 years ago and can no longer be recommended

I ordered and less than a minute later I received a sandwich, which was also burnt. I wasn't even asked what I wanted on it. It didn't taste good. After taking two bites I was able to throw the sandwich away. I gave a tip for that 👍 Worst store I've ever been to...

The store has never impressed because of its beautiful atmosphere or furnishings, but rather because of its consistently good quality. Unique sauces and exceptional meat quality were always present. Now I sadly discovered that not only the old legendary sauces, but also the meat no longer have anything to do with the old Rissani. This was my last visit to this childhood store.

An institution for many years with consistent quality - definitely eat the good, crispy falafel.

I've been there many times, but today the food was a disaster. Apparently the owner has also changed, I've never seen the gentleman there. Very bad shawarma, the falafel wasn't as good as before either. The sauce tasted very sour, like it was bad. It felt like there were three crumbs of meat in the shawarma and a kilo of salad, unfortunately not what it used to be. Very unfortunate.

Best falafel I've tried in Berlin so far

One of the best quality to price ratio I've ever seen. The portions are huge and delicious and the spicy sauce is on point. Staff are very friendly. Very good location as well, very accessible. I recommend the mango yogurt drink as well as the Scwarma-Falafel and hommos plate.

Mala comida, pero mucha cantidad. La velocidad de servicio es increíble, segundos, pero es que lo tienen todo preparado de antes lo que hace que la comida esté mala. Obtuve alrededor de 4 patatas fritas y eran repugnantes. Los falafel estuvieron ok. No recomiendo para nada. Hay mejor calidad precio en cualquier kebab.

My favorite is the rissani plate for 2 people… it’s delicious with everything included, fresh cabbage salads, great fries and lots of meat. We’ve tried several big plates in the area and this one by far beats all the rest! Also tried veggie tagine and it was tasty. Yummy and healthy fresh juices too. Great value for money and super friendly!

Schawarma, Falafel und co schmecken immer noch gut, allerdings hört die Bedienung einem nicht zu, kennt die eigenen Preise nicht und der Gastraum ist richtig richtig schmutzig. Bänke und Tische kleben und in den Spinnenweben hängen tote Insekten. Mal abgesehen von den umstehenden Leitern... Sehr schade... es hat sehr nachgelassen 😥

Tre stelle perché anni fa era davvero buono, ma ieri sera avrei dato una stella. Panino freddo con un -1- Falafel. Il pane si rompeva tutto (quindi non era probabilmente fresco), servizio abbastanza rude e locale sporco, bagni compresi. Peccato, lo ricordavo buono… però magari ho avuto sfortuna.

Immer wieder ein orientalisches Erlebnis! Portionen sehr groß und speisen immer frisch. Falafel ein Traum und sehr knusprig.

Don’t go there! Even though it’s cheap. Filthy and disgusting behavior. The service is extremely unprofessional and annoyed even tho we were the only ones ordering. He slammed his fist against the counter because I asked again about what sauces they offer. I addition, the employee picked up the falafel and halloumi with the same bare hand which he used to collect the money. We also so how he scratched his Buddy with it afterwards. YIKES! Also there where flies everywhere and no nothing was freshly made. Halloumi also tasted sour. The public health department should see this place ASAP!

The food was good, we ordered a plate for 2 and it was enough for both of us. The service however was one of the worst I've ever experienced. The staff behind the counter was unfriendly and made us feel like we were being a burden. He couldn't have been stressed because we were the only ones inside. Furthermore he plated all the food with his bare hands. Didn't wash or wipe it at any point. We should have left at that point. The taste was fine tho, but there are many restaurants that are just as good or better for the same price with friendly staff and a clean environment.

Essen war ganz in Ordnung. Falafel sehr kross,fand ich gut. Shawarma auch nicht schlecht. Den krautsalat finde ich überflüssig, weil ich den immer mit Döner verbinde und nicht mit arabischem Essen. Der Klecks mangosoße war sehr erfrischend. Preise sind allerdings unschlagbar. Ansonsten ekelhafteste Toiletten weit und breit und Sauberkeit ist auch nicht so hoch im Kurs.

Ich komme hierher seit 30 Jahren, die ganze Laden könnte Paar Eimer Farbe vertragen, Essen ist gut, wird am Fleisch gespart, auch keine Tee mehr. Bedienung ist freundlich.

Der Besuch bei Rissani gehört bei mir einfach zu meinem Besuch in Kreuzberg dazu. Man fühlt sich willkommen und im besten Sinne als Gast. Das Ambiente ist etwas in die Tage gekommen, aber das Essen ist lecker und reichlich. Immer wieder gerne.
