Baraka - Moroccan Restaurant in Berlin

One of the waitresses was the unfriendly I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, your colleague wasn't very attentive and a little overwhelmed. Too bad!

I’ve been visiting this place over the past 10y (every time I visit Berlin) and they have managed to keep excellent quality and tastes. Strongly recommend!

Food fresh, delicious and made with love every time. The shop is busy and therefore full and loud, but the atmosphere is still pleasantly familiar and warm. Eating here is always a highlight for me. It's best to reserve a seat in the front area or on the carpeted platform for maximum flair

I just can't find anything that isn't great. A Moroccan friend also says that the food tastes great, the service is super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is really cozy, we sit on cushions on the floor in the back room. Absolutely recommended.

A wonderful Moroccan restaurant with authentic flair! The tagines were excellently seasoned, the meat was tender and the ingredients were fresh. I was particularly impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service, which made the evening even more pleasant. The starters were also delicious – crispy dough rolls and aromatic sauces. Insanely delicious food and really nice staff!!!! I had lunch here with a friend of mine and we really enjoyed it! I had reserved a table in advance because we were celebrating a birthday and even though the carpet area was closed until 5 p.m., we still got a wonderful seat in the front part of the restaurant. The waitress was also kind enough to let us order tagine even though it is only available at dinner time. So we ordered lamb tagine with mezzes for 2 people and it was truly heavenly. Everything was great, the mezze fresh and tasty, the bread warm, the lamb tender and rich. I will absolutely come back SOON. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

The food was undoubtedly delicious and completely worth trying. That being said, there are some points that are big turnoffs for me: 1. Despite the moderately high prices, the venue does not take card payments, which is odd, given we’re in 2025. This is something I really wish they’d work on. 2. The amount of smoke coming into the room started giving us a burning sensation on our eyes. I wish they had a better separation of the kitchen and the seating area. All in all though, it is a great experience and worth coming for another visit. But maybe next time I’ll be sitting outside, when the weather allows and will come with my wallet prepared.

After a long time we were here again and it was again, or still, very good. We had babaghanouj, couscous with merguez, falafel platter, laban, marble, black tea and fenugreek tea. Very nice service, fast service. The only drawback: the open grills make you smell like a snack bar for a long time after your visit. But you can also see that as an extension of the evening. 😉

Food is good. The portions are much smaller than a few years ago, but the prices have doubled. For a spoonful of hot sauce, which was barely spicy, they charged €1.50 without warning. Have fun!

This afternoon I went to this Moroccan restaurant with a friend and we loved it! The ambience was authentic and inviting, the food was incredibly tasty and prepared with a lot of love. We were particularly impressed by the variety of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients – a real taste experience! The service was attentive, friendly and made us feel truly welcome. This restaurant is a true gem that we highly recommend to everyone. We'll definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, great service and fair prices

Was there a year and a half ago and again the day before yesterday...the tagine (lamb and chicken) tasted different than before with fewer ingredients. The Moroccan salad was not seasoned. The Briwat is more of a 2/5. As a Moroccan who thought the restaurant was great back then, I am now disappointed.

Halloumi sandwich is the best thing I've ever eaten! The staff is so friendly, always puts a smile on my face!! I would love to eat here every day!!

We were there to have a family dinner, 3 adults and one 4 y.o. Kid. The food and atmosphere were amazing, during the dinner adult 1 and kid got to go to toilet and i went to wash my hands, adult 3 not well English and deutsch speaking stayed at the table. When we came back from the toilet Our waiter already took away all the food... ☹️ she said she asked the adult 3 but she had the feeling she couldn't speak well (so it was), but then she took the food anyway without waiting to ask the other guests (my daughter also was still hungry ).. we felt a bit pushed away so we left, with disappointment to have left such good food to waste and to not have had occasion to eat enjoy more. We will retry again but maybe just as a couple.

Baraka es una de las mejores experiencias que tuve en Berlín. No hay palabras que transmitan correctamente lo delicioso que era este alimento. Fuimos 2 noches, una vez para una comida completa y luego de nuevo para un sándwich del mostrador de comida para llevar. El Oase Tajine Stew estaba delicioso y el plato de mezza para dos era nada menos que la perfección. El bocadillo también fue elaborado con pasión y la harissa casera más increíble. El servicio en este establecimiento está muy por encima de par.Nuestro camarero y nuestro artista de bocadillos, eran ambos amables, serviciales y amables; y nos dirigió en una excelente dirección. Lo único que lamentamos fue no ir todas las noches de nuestro viaje. Gracias Baraka por todo y volveré a Berlín para usted y su comida encantadora.

Cosy place with friendly staff, home-made freshcooked selection of traditional Moroccan and Lebanese dishes (we choose mezze style). I recommend delicious falafel! No alcoholic drink served at place. They don’t accept credit cards. I had to go away to withdraw cash (be prepared).

A great place not only to eat comfortably and excellently, but also to linger, talk, have a cup of tea or mocha. The crowning glory of the culinary delicacies was the 'flying carpet', puff pastry with a pistachio filling and a very creamy ice cream: a dream from a thousand and one nights! Definitely try it.

Shawrma is not recommended, they sometimes use meat from the last spit, it can be from the day before, but also from several days I worked in this restaurant, I have to say, it is a very bad employer, the employees are exploited, very poorly paid with a lot of tasks. We ordered the Mazza chicken tajine. The chicken was tender and juicy, and each small dish was bursting with flavors—absolutely delicious! We left feeling completely satisfied and full.

The Baraka restaurant is a real insider tip for lovers of Moroccan cuisine! The food was absolutely delicious - authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices made every bite a delight. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I particularly liked the fact that a diverse and open society comes together here. You immediately feel comfortable and in good hands. The service was also top – friendly, attentive and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. An all-round successful evening that I would happily repeat at any time! By the way, we sat on the floor or on comfortable cushions - something completely different, but part of the holistic experience. You had to take off your shoes in front of the carpet and walk to the court in socks.

Eight of us visited this Moroccan restaurant last night and loved the experience. (it was my brother's birthday) The food was simply fantastic! Every bite was an explosion of flavors and the selection of traditional dishes was impressive. The tajines and the freshly prepared mezze are particularly recommended. The service was also excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. The location could use some modernization, but the ambience still has its own charm. It conveys a cozy and authentic atmosphere that goes perfectly with the delicious dishes. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves Moroccan cuisine!

We had the vegetarian platter for three portions and it was just the right amount. All the dishes tasted super fresh and very tasty. The Fallafel balls in particular are great. And the carrots. Service was very friendly. You can sit outside. There is also a partial roof to protect against the sun. There are wooden benches and tables outside and fortunately many of the benches have backrests. Skalitzer Strasse is right next to it but it doesn't bother you too much.

Very tasty food, except that olive salad was the basis of almost all the components of the mixed plate, which was a bit monotonous.

We visited the restuarant in night. The food was pathetic, Lamb meat in Tajin was smelling bad. Food quality was below standard. Customer Service was satisfactory. We all have stomach ache now.

The quality of the food is okay, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is also good - but the plates are very small for the price, so you have to order two to get full. A corner away you get two plates for that price and it tastes good.

Fresh and tasty, especially the falafel, not dry as you sometimes experience. Plus a pot of tea with mint. In total 20 euros, so completely reasonable. Waiters very nice and accommodating. Sit outside, but it's also very pleasant inside. Note: Cash payment only.

A very nice restaurant with tasty food. They have a big terrace with plenty of seats, so you don’t need a reservation if you’re not a big group. We tried Tajine Oase and Tajine Casablanca. The portions are big and the food is delicious. The service is fast and everyone is friendly. We also liked black tea with rose water. Definitely recommend!

Not gonna lie, I am a foodie and we have a google maps list with 100+ places to go eat and drink, but this is definitely on top of my recommendations for anyone who visits Berlin. The food is incredible nothing will ever top a good warm meal that was made like this, yes maybe trendy places and boozy slushies are what you want, but it’s not comparable to the best falafel I’ve had, don’t even get me started on the spiced rice with dried fruits! We came here pretty late after not finding a place to eat and it blew our minds. The service was so nice too! Our waiter was super nice and came to ask if everything was alright with a big smile. Def coming back, thank you!

Some of the best food ive eaten in berlin, for sure the best falafel ive ever had, you can truly taste the soul within the food, if you like moroccan food you have to try this restaurant.
