Rioja - Tapas Bar in Lippstadt

2nd visit. Still excellent food and fabulous service. We had a wonderful tapas here. The staff are excellent and the food and atmosphere is superb.

The tastiest tapas restaurant we've had in a long time. There is an unusually large selection. Everything tastes very good. The ingredients are high quality. Very good patatas and 4 aiolis. Buttery soft lamb. The best meatballs we've ever had.

The service is great. The service is very attentive and the food is delicious. The first address in Lippstadt for tapas. The atmosphere is very harmonious. When the restaurant is busy, it is quite loud.

Rioja is a great Spanish restaurant. We love the great taste of the different tapas, the friendly staff and the varied daily menu (actually blackboards ;-))! However, you should definitely make a reservation on weekends because word has gotten around that you can eat really well here! It is often very crowded. The background noise is naturally very loud, but overall that fits perfectly with the cheerful Spanish way of life. In the warm season you can also sit on the terrace and enjoy tapas and cocktails. A small parking space behind the house completes the offer. We always enjoy coming here!

Nice friendly service. Food was good but not great. Unfortunately, the lamb chops were done, the shrimp were swimming in the hot oil and then there was half the shell.Find the mistake🙄 The mixed salad was fresh but without any dressing. There is vinegar and oil, but the kitchen should prepare something first. The rest was great. 2 years later you don't feel like things have gotten better, just worse. You order mineral water for €5.70 a bottle and get sparkling tap water. Are you serious? At least it was taken off the bill. For food 😬 The shrimp were strawy and dry, the lamb was already bulging up on the sides and the hair in it didn't make it any better. Service offered me something new but that's all there is to it🤷 The pineapple curry chicken was the crowning glory. I would say the meat is a pre-cut frozen product. Zero roasted aromas, no curry taste, just pineapple juice topped up with cream. The pineapple is also the cheapest you can buy. Nobody really has to go out to eat for this. I've given the store 3-4 chances now but it's just not worth it. All the 4-5 star reviews are a mystery to me.

I like the concept! Lots of small, delicious dishes, there is something for everyone! We really enjoyed the evening and will definitely come back.

Nothing to complain about. Everything is wonderful. The parking spaces are a bit small. I recommend...it's better to park your big boxes outside on the street. thanks, people

A great restaurant, it was very busy and therefore rather loud. But that is the only point of criticism. The food is great, the service is great too, and the prices for the great tapas range from just under €8 to €10. As a good eater, the price is generally the same as that of a reasonable steak, but you have more variety in the dish. We will be back!

As always, it was an experience!!! Although we didn't make a reservation on a Saturday, we were still able to get seats with 4 people in the early evening. If you want to do something good for your loved ones, just eat here. So far, the staff have always been in a good mood, no matter how many guests still flocked to the restaurant. The visit was again a lovely experience. And next time we'll just make a reservation again so that we're sure to get a table😅🫶

Everything fine, great selection of tasty tapas, special requests no problem, service attentive and unobtrusive, happy to come back soon! The only disadvantage, which is why 'only' 4 stars for ambience: when it's full, it's quite loud in the large room. But it's complaining at a very high level.

Very friendly, fast service, good food, nice atmosphere

The food is okay, nothing special. You can order each dish, one at a time, in small portions. Recommended in a group, then you can try the whole menu. I had fish, unfortunately too dry. Some things are too greasy, the dips are really tasty.. The staff, really nice and attentive, very friendly. The Rioja has its own parking space in the courtyard, but with a large car it gets very, very tight in the driveway. Otherwise you have to pay for parking around it and it is on a one-way street. We also have a very nice large terrace that faces the parking lot when the weather is nice. It's not exactly cheap!

Super Tapas auf Empfehlung eines Freundes waren wir das erste mal im Rioja. Gleich hinterm Haus haben wir sofort einen Parkplatz bekommen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang vom Chef. Uns wurden mehrere Tapas empfohlen, dazu 2 passende Weine. Die Garnelen und der Octopus waren spitze. Wir haben 12 verschiedene Tapas probiert, inklusive die leckeren Bratkartoffel. Zum Dessert gab es Crema catalana, auch sehr gut. Fazit: es war alles super, der Preis war angemessen. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und wir können das Rioja nur weiter empfehlen. Dank an das tolle Team.

Ich bin hier oft und immer wieder gerne mit meiner Freundin nach unserem Stadtbummel. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, das Personal supernett und immer gut gelaunt. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht.

Sehr Guter Service und sehr freundliches Ambiente. Mitarbeiter aus dem Service reagieren auch bei kleinen Problemen oder Missgeschicken äußerst zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen, Preis Leistung passt auch. Speisekarte bietet viel Abwechslung, hier kann man seinen Geschmack etwas ausprobieren.

Sehr gutes Essen. Eine sehr große Auswahl. Zu erwähnen ist das der Service Mega ist. Schnell, empfehlen Gerichte und alles sauber. Haben 30 Minuten weg auf uns genommen, und für Rioja war es jede Sekunde wert.
