Ringhotel Mutiger Ritter in Naumburg (Saale)

Definitely recommended. Friendly staff, clean, historic ambiance, and a historically unique place with an interesting history. A very nice breakfast buffet in a bright room. Upon request, kettles and cups were brought to the room, and umbrellas were available for loan. The room with a balcony was very nice, and the bathroom had a large, modern shower! Highly recommended for groups, too!

This year we were very pleased with the very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious… We would love to come back… Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend here as a small group of friends.

We spent two nights here for mountain bike tours and seminars. Nothing was missing, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious and plentiful. There was a garage for the bikes and the yellow lounge for the seminars. We'd be happy to stay again.

Every year, we look forward to our long weekend at the Muttiger Ritter in Bad Kösen. From the moment you arrive, you feel the warm hospitality – you immediately feel welcome. The rooms are beautifully and comfortably furnished, ideal for relaxing after an adventurous wine tour through the beautiful vineyards. We especially love the extensive breakfast, which is prepared with such care and variety. The service is simply wonderful – attentive, friendly, and warm. For us, every stay here is a little highlight, and we'll definitely be back!

The hotel has an antique charm. Centrally located, close to the graduation tower and probably the best cafe in Saxony-Anhalt. Breakfast is extensive and beautifully presented. Very good food in the evenings. Very suitable for cyclists. Locked parking garage and locked battery charging cabinet. I will definitely book this hotel again.

Beautiful house in the heart of Bad Kösen. We received a very warm welcome and were able to store our bikes safely. We had a fantastic view of the graduation tower. The breakfast buffet had everything you could need. Thanks to the team!

We had a cozy dinner to celebrate our "Golden High School Graduation 1975." My wife and I had a great time and were very pleased with the quality of the food and drinks we ordered.

We booked the hotel for our New Year's Eve event. The staff was very friendly. The event took place in a beautiful, historic hall, and the tables were lovingly and festively set. A varied and delicious hot and cold buffet rounded off the evening. A DJ provided good dance music. We felt at home and can recommend the hotel.

Brave Knight is a name; you have to be brave. Bought a New Year's Eve ticket for €99 per person, drinks extra. There was a DJ there. The buffet was a heartless disaster: roast pork, dumplings, kale, a few noodles, etc. Simply ridiculous for the price. Potato salad from a bucket, etc. If you don't have staff, you shouldn't offer something like that.

Unfortunately, a lot has changed to the detriment of last year. When we booked we were not informed that we had only booked for one night with breakfast. There was neither a hotel restaurant nor at least a bar available to us during our stay! If you know how thin the density of restaurants in Bad Kösen is, it's a disaster! The mini bar in the room was expanded, the shower head in the bathroom was so calcified that only minimal water came out and there was a €2 hole in the pillowcase. Such frugality sometimes leads to a dead end. We're sorry we can't mention anything positive.

We spent two nights here with breakfast. The breakfast buffet offers a sufficient selection of dishes. The rooms are fine and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is great, in the middle of Bad Kösen. We would book the hotel again.

The hotel is located in the middle of charming Bad Kösen and has plenty of parking spaces. The rooms in the interesting historic building are not overly spacious, but are well furnished and clean. Fluctuations in water temperature and pressure in the shower were bearable. There is an elevator. Unfortunately, the Ritterklause is currently closed due to a lack of staff. Since we were able to find this out on the website in good time, we got recommendations over the phone and had an excellent meal nearby (Villa Ilske). In the evening the seven of us were able to sit together and were served drinks in a very friendly manner. Ms. Schache looked after us very well. Breakfast was nicely prepared and completely sufficient, with very tasty Thuringian sausages. The hotel is connected to the Bad Kösen toy factory, where we took a very interesting tour. We were very satisfied and have already booked for next year.

Very nice hotel in historical walls. The breakfast is okay, but for €14.50 we were disappointed.

I have rarely experienced such poor service. An attempt is made to charge for drinks and food that you did not order. The whole thing then ends in a wild discussion with him “Leadership staff”. So this “hotel” is absolutely not recommended.

Hotel is a bit old, but it is clean everywhere and the staff is very friendly. The standard rooms without the modern bathroom sometimes have a non-functioning hot/cold setting. This makes showering very uncomfortable. However, the comfort rooms with modern bathrooms are good and this setting probably works here too. However, the high entry into the shower takes a lot of getting used to and the bathroom is sometimes very narrow. However, the location of the hotel is unbeatable, breakfast is okay. Only a minibar or a small refrigerator would be desirable for the price.

Nice hotel with some flaws. + Great location + Good breakfast + Plenty of parking options - Water pressure in the bathrooms is virtually non-existent. Showering is a rollercoaster of emotions between hot and cold. - No refrigerator available. - Lack of opportunities to sit together in the evening. The bar / restaurant closed, all rooms closed, a real lounge area is missing. - Not really child friendly Conclusion: Good hotel as a starting point for excursions into the region

Contrary to the internet entry, there is no restaurant open and cannot be reached by phone (during opening hours). Every now and then you get sent away

I stayed in the hotel for Ascension Day and was satisfied. The room was clean, the furnishings were rustic and quaint, but modern. The staff was very friendly. The adjacent toy museum is worth a visit. It is centrally located in the town, not far from the bus stop, train station and the city's important sights. The breakfast was tasty, but was rather simple, so I would have liked a little more choice, especially when it comes to baked goods (e.g. toast or croissants). Unfortunately, the restaurant is not open at the moment, which I found a shame because it was difficult to find a restaurant in town. Nevertheless, I liked it and would be happy to recommend the hotel to others and would be happy to come back again.

I went to the Prince's Ball at the Courageous Knight. The hall is great and was completely sold out. I can't say anything about the hotel.

It was a nice opportunity to be there at the turn of the year and to see the attached factory for stuffed animals, and the Ritterklause also had something rustic about it.

Thanks to a private recommendation, we got to know this tastefully furnished hotel. Particularly worth visiting is the production facility for high-quality plush toys connected to the hotel and the lovingly designed exhibition. Käthe Kruse founded her doll company at this location in 1912. A historical gem.
