Rigoletto in Düsseldorf

I was last there 30 years ago, and nothing has changed! Good pizzas, delicious pasta, a charming atmosphere, and very friendly service! Everything was top-notch, and the prices were good.

The food was amazing, I felt like I was in Italy and I would recommend you go there.

We've known Rigoletto for years. A few days ago, we were there again and had two wonderfully tender steaks. Today we're going back for my favorite pizza, the Diavolo. You can get a great meal here for a reasonable price.

Nice atmosphere, music a bit loud.

We discovered this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (a German word for "sweet block"). Although we arrived shortly before lunchtime, after a brief reluctance, we still managed to get something to eat. The food was good, and the service was friendly. "If only everyone would come with the Schlemmerblock now," was a phrase we overheard during our meal. We found that a bit unprofessional.

Good, tasty Italian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Our pasta dishes were very tasty, and our turkey salad was perfectly seasoned. The menu has a lot to offer—nothing fancy, but excellent classic Italian dishes. The ambiance is cozy, with a bit of an '80s vibe, but that's what makes it so cozy. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our meal here. The prices are reasonable, and the portions were generous. The parking situation is a bit of a gamble. But we'd be happy to come back.

This is what I imagine an Italian restaurant to be like. I haven't been there in a long time, and I have to say it was delicious, and we had a wonderful time sitting in the courtyard. The service was very pleasant and prompt. The prices are completely reasonable, and the pizza was fantastic. Five of us were there, and everyone was satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

Great restaurant with Italian flair and excellent cuisine! The fresh pasta dishes are particularly delicious! We've never been disappointed! The courtyard is a beautiful garden with vines! The service was very attentive and friendly, and we even got a limoncello on the house at the end!

SOUTHERN ITALIAN perfectly sums it up. We had three pasta dishes and one pizza. The pasta was actually even better than the pizza—but that gets 5 stars, too. The starter with pizza bread and delicious garlic butter was on the house—thank you so much—delicious. To be fair, we were warned before ordering that there would be a wait today because it was full and we hadn't made a reservation. That's perfectly fine—it didn't take long (a good half hour)—but I thought it was very good.

My family had a very bad meal there. It was extremely hot in the restaurant. No windows, nothing open. Except for a crack in the door leading to the beer garden. I went out with my daughter because it was so hot. It had been raining outside. Then the owner or waitress came over in an unbelievable tone. You're not allowed out here. Come in immediately; there's a chair in front of the door for a reason. First, it's the sound that makes the difference. Second, I've rarely experienced such unfriendly behavior. Thanks for nothing.

The homemade pasta is a dream. We've eaten there several times, and the chef never fails to impress us. The service is friendly and very attentive. Simply 10/10

We've been to Rigoletto a few times now and we can only warmly recommend it - a real insider tip in Düsseldorf! The pizza is very tasty, crispy without being dry, but we liked the pasta even better. We have also tried different dishes here and they were all delicious. The price-performance ratio is probably the best in Düsseldorf (large portions!) and the service is very warm, nice and attentive. We'd love to come back, it's worth it every time! :)

The pizza margarita was without oregano and tasted on a frozen level! Pasta with truffle: truffle way too intense. Everything is okay in terms of price. Service was very good. Were here for the first time and won't be coming back!

We've only been living in Rath for a few weeks and after reading the great reviews we really wanted to try this restaurant. We were not disappointed and I would even say that I had one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was charming. We'll definitely be back.

The Rigoletto has been around forever and we've been going there every now and then for just as long. The menu holds no surprises for an Italian restaurant. The offer and the prices are OK. But there is always a daily menu with delicious, seasonal delicacies. Attentive and friendly service.

For lunch, I used the lunch menu. It was empty and I saw quite a few Japanese people there, but the serving time was short and the food was very delicious 😋 To take away, each dish costs 1€. I took it home because it was so big, but it was so cheap! I would definitely use it again 😊

So. This food was simply amazing as was the staff. Everything was recorded perfectly and despite increased visits, the staff (important to mention in my case) have not yet made any mistakes or anything similar. Small hidden piece of gold in Rath. From the outside you think about whether you should go in. Once you're inside, it's traditionally beautiful inside. There is a beautiful little terrace inside in the middle. The service is great, Bintou the service person is very, very friendly, courteous and patient. A very sweet girl. The young man who works there was also super friendly, and at the end we got drinks on the house. Now to eat The pizza is the best pizza I have ever eaten, super crispy and simply original Italian. A little hidden piece of gold in Rath. From the outside, you would think twice about going in. But from the inside, simply wonderful, a cute terrace in the restaurant's rent. Inside, simply traditional Italian. The service person Bintou was very, very friendly and accommodating, a really sweet girl.. I haven't experienced such nice service in a long time. A young man, I don't know his name, was also very friendly, at the end we got a drink on the house, actually everything was just great. My girlfriend and I really enjoy eating at Rigoletto. When the weather is nice let's enjoy a glass of red wine in the garden. The food is really tasty, the portions are large and there is occasionally time for a nice small talk. So, a clear recommendation!

From the outside you wouldn't think it would be so cozy and typically Italian inside. Nice gastro, it looks like Italy, you immediately feel good. Also a nice little outdoor area. The food was super tasty and plentiful. Female card good and suitable. Staff very friendly. The only thing we missed was a nightcap 😉 We'd love to come back. 😊

Update: unfortunately I can't give another 5 stars. Today it was perfect again: Spaghetti Bolognese. Noodles to the point, service super attentive, side salad great. ,............ I still stand by it, it is the best pizzeria in Düsseldorf. It's a pleasure to be a guest here and the service is very attentive. The food is plentiful, finely balanced and al dente as it couldn't be better. The ambience is getting old, but that's what makes it so cozy. Definitely recommended 🙏

I have been coming here for many years. The food remains excellent Unfortunately, nothing has been done to the interior design for years. Something urgently needs to be done here. But the terrace in the inner courtyard seems to be slowly changing for the better. Nonetheless, I recommend this restaurant 100%. 1 A pizza, pasta dishes absolutely perfect and the service was super nice. Everyone must have eaten the scampi pizza once!!!!

The restaurant is very nicely set up. Today I sat in the garden and ate there. You feel very comfortable and the owners and employees are very, very friendly. Eating there is a highlight. The dishes are incredibly delicious. Praise goes out to the chefs and the pizza maker! Always my pleasure.

The food was quite ok. The service was nice, but not the boss. We had a little discussion where it turned out that the boss was right and not us, I admit that honestly. She could have left it at that, but insulted us in Italian as we walked out. The “ignorant” She could have saved herself something. Incredible! Therefore only 1 star.

To be honest, I really didn't find the front and entrance inviting, so I haven't been there yet. But based on a tip from a neighbor, I should go eat there. I was more than pleasantly surprised. It's not at all like what it looks like from the outside. It has a really cozy restaurant atmosphere and a great “inner courtyard”.

Unser Lieblings-Italiener! Seit Jahren sind wir Stammgäste. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, der Service so persönlich und familiär wie professionell und die Terrasse im Sommer der beste Platz am Ort. Die Küche ist offen für individuelle Wünsche. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Ein Familienbetrieb wie man ihn sich in der Nachbarschaft wünscht. Man merkt allen an dass sie ihren Job lieben. Wir fühlen uns dort rundum wohl und kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wer mal richtig gut italienisch essen mag, ist hier genau richtig. (Bisher) habe ich dort die beste Lasagne und Piccata Milanese gegessen, die ich in den letzten 2 Jahrzehnten hatte. Da werden sicher noch viele Speisen dazu kommen. 😋

Das Essen hat sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bruschetta wurde mit frisch gebackenem dickerem Pizzaboden und in Form einer Pizza serviert. Bei der Vorspeise mit Garnelen wurde nicht an den Garnelen gespart und als Beilage wurden frische Pizzabrötchen mit Kräuterbutter serviert. Die Pizzen werden in einem traditionellen Steinofen gebacken. Ich kann nur nicht sagen, ob dieser mit Gas oder Holz auf Temperatur gebracht wird. Die Pizzen waren sehr üppig belegt und der Teig war nicht verbrannt. Die Preise für die Getränke und Speisen sind sehr human und günstig. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat sich umgehend um die Bestellungen und Anliegen gekümmert. Ich kann das kleine, beschauliche und stilvoll eingerichtete Restaurant nur jedem weiterempfehlen.t

Sehr hundefreundliches Lokal und das Essen ist so wie ich es aus Jugendzeiten kenne. Schon damals liebte ich die Scampipizza und auch heute war sie sehr lecker. Die Soße schmeckte etwas anders aber trotzdem eine sehr leckere Pizza.

Ein Freund und ich waren gestern hier um eine köstliche Lasagne zu essen. Der erste Eindruck vom Restaurant ist erstmal ungewöhnlich von außen wirkt es etwas in die Jahre gekommen, drinnen fühlte ich mich in meine Jugend zurück versetzt (80er Jahre ) so sah es bei meinem Italiener auch aus. Das Personal war super freundlich der Service 1a die Lasagne eine der Besten die man in Düsseldorf bekommen kann, und mein Freund und ich wissen wovon wir sprechen wir testen schon seit Monaten die italienische Küche im speziellen Lasagne und die man hier bekommt gehört zu den 2 Besten die wir je gegessen haben. Und der Ofen mit Holz befeuert macht Vorfreude darauf auch eine Pizza zu probieren.
