Rigg's Burger & Grill am Flugplatz in Bad Saulgau

An incredibly great team, the food was superb – this is how a burger should taste – and the service was very attentive. All in all, much better than our last visit in summer 2024. We'll be back.

We ate here for the first time today. We received a very friendly welcome, and the food (cheeseburger, farmer burger, pulled burger, and chicken nuggets with fries) was very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The only positive thing was the food. The wait staff were left alone while other employees sat comfortably at their tables. Over an hour of waiting time...

There was no service or it was only available upon request. Switching to the cheaper frozen meat isn't possible. It had no flavor and was overcooked. I've been coming here for many years and it was always good. But this was my last time.

I've been coming to Riggs Burger for years. The food has always been good and tasty. I like it there. On my last visit, I had a steak for the first time. It was wonderful, again, nothing to complain about. The service was also very pleasant. I'm looking forward to the next few years.

No matter what I ate, I never left the restaurant feeling disappointed.

The waiting times are catastrophic

The tiered delivery policy and minimum order value are outrageous. Another delivery service in Saulgau delivers for a flat rate of €2.50. I'm happy to tip the other service more voluntarily, with NO minimum order value. We certainly won't be ordering from them again.

What burgers. Delicious, huge, and fairly priced. The menu offers many different options, and the service was fast. Highly recommended...

My husband and I went to Riggs in Bad Saulgau on a Sunday evening. Two other tables were occupied with ours. We ordered a hamburger with jalapenos, a cheeseburger, and mozzarella sticks. Value for money: Mozzarella sticks + dips: 6 for just over €7 are okay. They tasted good, but not homemade. Burgers: The pricing of the burgers is puzzling to me. The hamburger cost €9.90, the cheeseburger €10.90. The hamburger came with standard pickles, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce (iceberg lettuce). The cheeseburger only had a bit of iceberg lettuce, but no tomatoes, pickles, or onions. I should add that this was also stated on the menu. Now to the point why the pricing seems puzzling to me. If you order the above-mentioned ingredients separately with your burger, you'll pay the following surcharge: Pickles: €1.90 Tomatoes and onions: €1.20 each Cheddar cheese is also €1.90. Other reasons why I can only give it two stars: 1. Our table was unfortunately covered in crumbs. Since the restaurant wasn't full, that shouldn't have been the case. 2. We waited almost an hour for our food. It's not a fast-food restaurant, but waiting almost an hour for food is simply too long for me.

Good food, very good fries, very good Mexican fries, the best there is

Unfortunately, the burger was truly disappointing. The thin, obviously store-bought patty was completely overcooked and therefore extremely dry. There was barely any sauce on it, just a few lettuce leaves, not even a tomato or pickle. The overall flavor was just not right, especially since the patty tasted anything but fresh. The bun was also dry. Overall, just sad; the value for money isn't right at all.

Actually quite expensive. The veggie burger is tiny and overpriced, not good value for money. I wouldn't go there again. Positive: Right on the runway, you can watch the aircraft.

If you like burgers and fried foods, you're well advised. There was a small problem with our meal... but the very friendly service tried so hard to fix the problem. It was really really nice. We even got a discount...

The food was truly delicious and the service was exceptionally polite and helpful. The dishes were served quickly, which was a big plus. The decor could be a bit more refined, but overall the atmosphere is pleasant.

Burgers are not recommended. My burger today tasted like old fat, fries were full of fat. It's a shame that the cook wasn't interested at all. No feedback or accommodation whatsoever. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the burger. The service person was nice.

Were there today, the ambience is ok, but the heating stopped today and it was very cold. The service staff was friendly, unfortunately the veggi burger was made with bacon, I got the burger replaced but again with the wrong patty, the taste of the burger was catastrophic, it tasted like old fat and smelled extremely disgusting. The fries were hard and soaked in fat. When we complained we were only put off with an apology. That's not customer friendly - we've eaten better there before

Why are they now only open from Friday to Sunday? Unfortunately the store collapses.

Had dinner this evening; Food very tasty and plentiful... ultra-nice and very friendly young service and we also took some delicious ice cream with us... we'll be happy to come back. Thanks for the great service.

Here you can find by far the best burgers around. Freshness and quality come first. Super friendly staff and a super cool location right at the airport, where you can sit comfortably and watch the skydivers.

We ordered for the first time on Friday, which went absolutely great and was very quick. The food also arrived hot and in great condition and was simply delicious. The only thing we have to complain about is that there was a lot of cartilage in the meat of all four burgers, which we thought was a real shame. But otherwise the fries and other side dishes were great and the burgers tasted really good. They really responded to our feedback and the burgers now taste great, meat sauce, everything, we really like to order it often

The burgers are really the best. Unfortunately I can't afford it anymore! For my 5 people I'm out for a quick €100 or more. There's no more time for in between, it's more for a special occasion and it's even cheaper in the restaurant. A pity!

Unfortunately, Riggs has declined significantly. For the price, the really expensive food was really subpar. Two hours !! Waiting time and then getting cold food delivered. The burgers were lukewarm and soggy, the corn on the cob was ice cold and the fries were way too dark and also cold. The large mixed salad was also quite meager with a few green leaves and two small tomatoes. Riggs is no longer an option for us. My hard-earned money is a waste.

Wir waren innerhalb diesen Jahres mehrfach hier beim Essen und waren jedes Mal ausnahmslos zufrieden. Der Service ist einfach sehr gut, freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Qualität des Essens ist topp. Das Speisenangebot ist umfangreich und das Ambiente, das Thema, der Standort, das Angebot passt einfach rundum super zusammen. Auch auf Sauberkeit wird erkennbar geachtet. Hier hat sich unter der neuen Leitung sehr vieles positiv verändert! Weiter so, wir kommen gerne immer wieder!

Riggs war ne zeitlang tabu, aber als wir erfahren haben, dass es eine neue Geschäftsführung gibt, haben wir uns wieder getraut. Lieferung war topp. Alles heiß und knusprig und sehr lecker! Bestimmt bald wieder 👍🏻

Bürgerfleisch war einfach Tiefkühlfleisch. Und es hat auch ekelig gerochen. Ambiente war cool mit den Leuten die Fallschirmspringen.

Had lunch there today after not being able to drop due to lack of available rig. Had the mushroom burger and small (but still big) fries with cheese and pulled pork. Both were excellent and came out at the perfect temperature. Staff were very friendly and courteous. If only they had pizza too, or calzones. This will definitely be a go to spot whenever I try to go jumping.

Wir haben das erste Mal seit langem wieder bei Riggs bestellt. Da wir die letzten Male leider nicht so gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatten, ist die letzte Bestellung mehr als ein halbes Jahr her. Ich muss allerdings sagen, dass es sich gelohnt hat, mal wieder dort zu bestellen. Es wurde viel ins positive verändert. Pommes sehr lange knusprig, was vorher nicht der Fall war und auch gut gewürzt, die Buns würden auch ausgetauscht und sind nicht mehr wie Gummi und vor allem war das Essen noch heiß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das einzige was mich stört sind die knapp 3 Euro Liefergebühr von Saulgau nach Fulgenstadt. Wenn man schon einen Mindestbestellwert machen muss ( was ja durchaus Sinn ergibt ), könnte man dies an dieser Stelle berücksichtigen, meiner Meinung nach. Ist nicht so offensichtlich. Die Gebühr hat dem Fahrer dann leider sein Trinkgeld gekostet.

Ein bisschen außerhalb von Bad Saulgau, und doch durch den Flugplatz gut besucht, und es kann auch dadurch zum Fluglärm kommen. Die Burger haben uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt, die Pommes mit Käse oder Mexikana waren nichts besonderes, hätten auch die normalen nehmen können und hätten glaube ich die hälfte bezahlt. Die Colas haben leider wie abgestanden, kaum Kohlensäure und lauwarm geschmeckt. Ich hätte sie zurückgeben sollen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Endlich mal ein Restaurant, in dem man Stunden sitzen kann und das Ambiente genießen kann. Wir waren am Samstag Abend dort. Zu dem schönsten Wetter, waren die Kinder voll auf begeistert von den Fallschirmspringern, die man während der Wartezeit und beim Essen beobachten konnte. Geschmacklich war es wirklich spitze, frisch und lecker. Wir haben für 4 Burger, 2x Mozzarella Sticks und einmal Zwiebelringe knapp 65 Euro bezahlt, was für die aktuellen Preise wirklich top ist. Kommen gerne wieder, denn auch der Service hat überzeugt 👍👍

Der Burger ist sehr lecker und sättigend. Die Portion Kartoffeln war sehr zufriedenstellend. Schöne Atmosphäre, schneller Service. Der Burger war bis zum letzten Bissen heiß. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ich war schon in vielen Restaurants, und dies ist das einzige Café, in dem die Damentoilette alles hatte, was man für Notfälle braucht. Wenn möglich, würde ich als Zeichen des Respekts noch einen Stern hinzufügen. Respektieren❤️

Für 2 personen 1 kind 54€ ambiente ist zwar nett aber das essen war bei uns nichts besonderes für den preis, wir waren enttäuscht

Habe über Lieferando bestellt auf 18:00 Uhr und das Essen kam um 18:00 Uhr essen. War warm die Pommes waren gut, aber der Burger war jetzt nicht der Renner rennt.

Zuerst einmal wenn man es nicht kennt findet es man nicht. Sehr schlecht ausgeschrieben. Dann waren wir zu Dritt essen und waren alleine. Trotz Personal musste man direkt an der theke bestellen, bezahlen dann abholen. Hier könnte man am service was verbessern. Nach dem essen war erst mal umziehen angesagt nach dem besuch wusste jeder die waren in einer Pommesbude. Burger war mir persönlich zu trocken, geschmacklich auch nicht besonders. Pommes nicht gesalzen. Also im großen ganzen okey aber ich kann es so nicht weiterempfehlen.

Super um draußen zu essen und den Fallschirmspringern zuzuschauen.

Selten so schlechte Burger gegessen und dazu noch total überteuert....wir hatten nur 2 Burger und 2 Radler, haben stolze 24€ bezahlt 🙈....ich fand die Burger total fad und geschmacklos und Hunger hatte ich danach auch noch...die 2Sterne sind für das freundliche Personal
