I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this warm and beautiful Greek restaurant truly impressed us. The owner was very kind and immediately made us feel welcome. The staff was just as friendly :) Everyone was simply so welcoming! The food was incredibly delicious and perfectly seasoned. The highlight was the gyros plate. The appetizers were also a delight, especially the bougiordi. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail with every bite. A fantastic experience all around! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

We were there last week with the whole family and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant is warm, rustic, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The staff makes you feel warmly welcomed as soon as you arrive. The team is very friendly and attentive. You can tell that the restaurant pays attention to every detail. There's even a special children's menu with pictures and cute sayings – really lovingly done. The food was delicious, arrived piping hot, and we hardly had to wait. Our highlight was the traditional gyros plate made with pork – the meat was excellent and perfectly seasoned! It's a place where you feel comfortable and can truly enjoy your meal. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly return! See you again soon! ;)

A very cozy Greek restaurant with a warm atmosphere, which we visited yesterday afternoon. The waiters are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The breaded feta cheese with honey and sesame seeds was especially tasty! We really appreciated that everything was provided on the table, such as oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper, as a matter of course. We will definitely be back soon!

A lovely, rustic Greek restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The waitress, in particular, makes the whole place feel like one big, happy gathering. The food was excellent: freshly prepared, delicious, well-seasoned, and arrived quickly and, most importantly, piping hot. Despite the lively atmosphere, everything ran smoothly. The guests were also very friendly with each other; we even became friends with the people at the next table. We always feel very comfortable here and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The only good thing about this restaurant was the friendly waitress. We were there on the evening of January 3, 2026, and after our orders were taken fairly quickly and the drinks were served, we had to wait 10 minutes for half of our appetizers because the pita bread was forgotten and only arrived after we asked for it. Then the main courses took almost an hour to arrive, even though we were the only table that evening. The meat in the Brizolakia was indeed very tender, but completely unseasoned and barely salvaged by the tzatziki. We ordered Mix 1, but received Mix 2, and after the long wait, we didn't have the energy to send it back. The meat was again barely seasoned, and unfortunately, we couldn't add any more seasoning from our table because there were grains of rice in the salt and pepper shakers. We weren't sure if the restaurant had deliberately put it there or if some unruly guests had left it there. €70 would have been better spent elsewhere.

I've never written a review before, but this restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars. We were there on January 3rd, 2026, and were served by a waitress who was not only very friendly but also joked with us. We had a really nice, pleasant conversation. The food topped everything! Perfectly seasoned, absolutely delicious, and served quickly despite the large number of customers. We felt completely welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Tastes fantastic but hey guys for 7.5 euros the amount of meat was tragically small. 3 pita gyros with tzatziki potatoes and gyros, especially one was completely empty as far as meat is concerned. Too bad.

I have never seen such unfriendly staff. They say the guest is king, but unfortunately not here, because a guest should be treated well. All of this is not why the world champions are unfriendly staff. There were two ladies there, and the food was terrible. It didn't taste good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A taverna whose ambiance strongly evokes traditional Greek tavernas. This was complemented by the warm hospitality of the waitress, who gave us a friendly welcome, and the delicious and satisfying food. The tzatziki and gyros were particularly noteworthy. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible by car or public transport (subway or commuter train). Highly recommended!

Nicely decorated, food very good, service was okay. We only ordered appetizers, and it wasn't even busy, yet we had to wait half an hour. We ordered water, which wasn't brought to us, and we received the wrong dish. The waiters were very friendly and regularly checked if everything was alright. We couldn't pay with our phones, so we had to go home to get the card. We arrived to pay and found no lights. The power was out. That's unacceptable. Despite that, we enjoyed our meal very much and might come back again.

A very small, idyllic Greek restaurant, beautifully and neatly decorated. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment. Therefore, I can only give one star for the food. There were two of us in the restaurant, maybe six people in total, and unfortunately, as a couple, we were allowed to eat our meals separately. Fifteen minutes later, the second dish arrived. In my opinion, this is unacceptable when two people want to eat in a restaurant. The meat in my dish was still raw, and the fries were cold. The ambiance was very nice, and the service was very good. The food, however, was a complete disappointment.

We were there a week ago, and everything arrived far too late (after an hour, even though there were hardly any other guests). Then we had arguments with the server, who interrupted our meal with a conversation (when it finally arrived, unbelievable!). The food arrived after 1 hour and 15 minutes. The first meat arrived after 1 hour. Side dishes came almost 15 minutes later. As a result, most of the food was cold! The lamb, in particular, was cold. The portions of tzatziki served with the dishes were tiny, about the size of a tablespoon. The gyros was completely cold. The entire way the food was served was a complete mess. Then, pieces of meat were missing from the plate. These were finally brought out after another 10 minutes. We told the server we could put the water bottles on the bench, and she said it was fine. Even when I expressed my concerns, she was still willing to argue. I've never experienced anything like it. Therefore, our conclusion is that this was our last time here, and it couldn't get much worse. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. And if I could have, I would have given absolutely no stars for this service.

Simply perfect!! A truly beautiful ambiance – welcoming, warm, and decorated with great attention to detail. The food is simply outstanding: Mediterranean cuisine, fresh, aromatic, and prepared with evident care. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and you can taste it in every bite. On Sundays, the atmosphere becomes even more special: Mirula's wonderful voice fills the room, adding an extra touch of heart and warmth to the experience. We had a business dinner at the restaurant yesterday. The service was friendly. Otherwise, it was a bit chaotic. Orders were mixed up, the wrong items were brought, and parts of the dish were forgotten. Furthermore, the food was unfortunately not at all edible. The first visual impression was not good. The dishes were carelessly arranged on the plates, and the fries were pale. Unfortunately, the taste experience was no better. The casserole was heated in the microwave, the fries were undercooked, and the bread wasn't fresh either. The only positive point is that my colleague's special request was accommodated. Conclusion: There are many better Greek restaurants with fresh cuisine.

Small, fine, and rustic Greek restaurant with very friendly service and good food.

It was nothing. The staff had to be reminded that we wanted to order, and they were surprised that their orders hadn't been taken even though the menus were still on the table. Then we waited a very long time for the food, and two of our three glasses were empty. We didn't ask if we wanted anything else. The quality of the food wasn't exactly top-notch either, aside from the quantity. It's a shame, really, considering the restaurant only had 4.7 stars in its rating. After the mammoth 60km hike, we would have liked a more coherent result. Shoutout to the group next to us; they seemed to be just as enthusiastic, but still had fun. Now it's back to Hamburg.

We visited the landlady Merula's tavern on October 17, 2025. Despite the power outage, the entertainment included a performance accompanied by accordion music! Fantastic! The food was consistently excellent. We've never eaten such tender and juicy chicken. The appetizers were fresh and delicious, and the breaded anchovies were a dream. But the galaktobureko at the end rounded it off. Go, enjoy, and despite being Greek, the food was light and digestible.

No, just no. Completely overwhelmed staff. Portions absolutely not worth the price. The taste wasn't convincing either. On the way back, we raided the kebab shop.

Some of the food is good, some is average, like the chef's specialty. Only gyros in the pan. The atmosphere is nice. The atmosphere is friendly. If you order a lot, you'll have a long wait.

We were 8 travelling together and had a great birthday dinner there. Very friendly service, good meal, dessert and wine, at very reasonable prices. The restaurant layout was also very nice.

We stopped here on our trip through Stuttgart. They immediately warned us that it was busy and it might take a while, but once the food arrived, it was delicious. The waitresses were also very friendly and gave us tips for Greece. They even let us hang up a key, a very nice touch! All in all, they more than made up for the long wait. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

A lovely, cozy restaurant serving excellent Greek food. Free parking on the street. The prices are fair. The service is especially friendly and welcoming. They make jokes and even take the time for the teenagers who prefer to order in German. While paying, we had a very pleasant conversation about Germany and the Netherlands. I highly recommend enjoying the delicious grilled meats here and it's a benchmark for hospitality in the hospitality industry!

My son and I arrived near closing, but the owners managed to fit us in. What followed was a delightful and quite memorable meal. Great conversation (with all of us doing our best to work through some language barriers). Great company to share stories with (and learn a little more about the world). And, of course, great food and drink (a couple of cold Paulaner Weißbier, the Gyros Teller and the Bifteki Teller). We wrapped the night with a shot of ouzo and thanked them for a delicious and wonderful experience. Definitely stop by if you are visiting Stuttgart.

A very nice little Greek restaurant with excellent cuisine. We stumbled upon it by chance and received a warm welcome. There were five of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed appetizers and delicious Greek main courses. The landlady and owner gave us plenty of attention, and we even finished off with an ouzo—an all-around perfect evening. They also deliver food, and you can also take it away. Highly recommended; we would go again.

The lady was very nice. Unfortunately, they served tzatziki instead of garlic dip, and the ordered side dish of fried potato slices was forgotten. Upon request, they delivered it, even with garlic dip, but we weren't charged for it. That was a really nice gesture. The garlic bread didn't have enough garlic for us, and the "grilled flavor" wasn't exactly our cup of tea. We also had gyros with fries, which were delicious. The pub is very quaint with delicious food and excellent service.

I used it while staying at a nearby hotel to visit the Porsche Museum. Madam was a very nice person who welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed authentic Greek cuisine. Greek salad, grilled lamb, and Gyro (pork) are recommended. You can choose rice (different from Japanese rice) as a side for the main dish, which was a relief to my stomach that was tired of potatoes. When I told him that I was from Japan, he happily told me that his son is a former German figure skater (!) and that he would be appearing on Disney on Ice in Japan. Thank you for the wonderful encounter and food!

As is so often the case, it is the inconspicuous, international establishment around the corner that reflects the most authentic impressions of a distant homeland to anyone who dares to immerse themselves. But nowhere is this more the case than in Riganato, located at the very tip of Stuttgart. An ambience that is brimming with tradition and is home to an incredibly attentive landlady and her unrivaled, fresh food: The spicy bread baked warm with delicious aromas like from the grill, the vegetables juicy like God's just-picked fruits and the meat, oh- the meat... However, I would not like to give any more information to the interested gourmets. You simply should have eaten here! That's all.

This was our second time at this restaurant today and unfortunately our experience was once again disappointing. The food was OK, but the quality of service left a lot to be desired. We already had long waiting times on our last visit, and today it was even worse. While we were still waiting for our drink, other guests who had already had their meals were served their second drink and we were forgotten when paying, which was very frustrating. In other restaurants that also offer good food, we have experienced significantly faster and more organized service. Due to these repeated negative experiences we will not come again in the future. It's a shame because the potential is there, but the service urgently needs to be improved.

Food is a poem. The bifteki is completely homemade. Starters fresh and delicious. Tzatziki 1a. As a drink I recommend the Chardonnay. Staff very friendly and fair, unfortunately long waiting time.

We came across this restaurant by chance on our weekend trip. Very rustic atmosphere but everything is generally very harmonious. Service was very accommodating and we were given extensive advice and recommendations. People often asked whether there were any wishes left open and whether everything was to their satisfaction. A visit is always worth it. The food was fabulous, everything was freshly prepared and the waiting times were manageable. There was nothing to complain about, gladly again!

We received a warm welcome and our order was taken quickly and with a smile. What was particularly nice was that the waitress was happy to give recommendations and recommend the house specialties to us. The food was simply fantastic – authentic and incredibly tasty! Every dish was prepared with attention to detail and tasted like it was in Greece. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh ingredients and the perfect seasoning, which brought out the traditional flavors perfectly. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and we will definitely be back. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you! Absolute recommendation!
