Riganato in Stuttgart

My girlfriend and I are spending a few days in Stuttgart. We really wanted to try different restaurants, but this one turned out to be more than special. We are from Bulgaria and often enjoy Greek cuisine. We've been to many great restaurants, but this one left us speechless! The delicious food, the friendly service, and the communication are on a whole different level! This restaurant will be the reason we visit Stuttgart again! Thank you! Greetings from Bulgaria!

My boyfriend and I are from Bulgaria and recently visited Stuttgart for a short holiday. We had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant and were truly impressed by both the taste of the food and the overall atmosphere. Being very familiar with Greek cuisine, we were more than delighted to find a place in Stuttgart that offers such authentic and delicious taste.

A very rustic and cozy restaurant, with typical Greek dishes and a wide selection of Greek drinks that invite you to try everything, from wine to "mountain tea iced tea"! For me, every visit is a little culinary journey to Greece, where you can escape from everyday life for a bit... thank you so much!

My son and I arrived near closing, but the owners managed to fit us in. What followed was a delightful and quite memorable meal. Great conversation (with all of us doing our best to work through some language barriers). Great company to share stories with (and learn a little more about the world). And, of course, great food and drink (a couple of cold Paulaner Weißbier, the Gyros Teller and the Bifteki Teller). We wrapped the night with a shot of ouzo and thanked them for a delicious and wonderful experience. Definitely stop by if you are visiting Stuttgart.

A very nice little Greek restaurant with excellent cuisine. We stumbled upon it by chance and received a warm welcome. There were five of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed appetizers and delicious Greek main courses. The landlady and owner gave us plenty of attention, and we even finished off with an ouzo—an all-around perfect evening. They also deliver food, and you can also take it away. Highly recommended; we would go again.

The lady was very nice. Unfortunately, they served tzatziki instead of garlic dip, and the ordered side dish of fried potato slices was forgotten. Upon request, they delivered it, even with garlic dip, but we weren't charged for it. That was a really nice gesture. The garlic bread didn't have enough garlic for us, and the "grilled flavor" wasn't exactly our cup of tea. We also had gyros with fries, which were delicious. The pub is very quaint with delicious food and excellent service.

I used it while staying at a nearby hotel to visit the Porsche Museum. Madam was a very nice person who welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed authentic Greek cuisine. Greek salad, grilled lamb, and Gyro (pork) are recommended. You can choose rice (different from Japanese rice) as a side for the main dish, which was a relief to my stomach that was tired of potatoes. When I told him that I was from Japan, he happily told me that his son is a former German figure skater (!) and that he would be appearing on Disney on Ice in Japan. Thank you for the wonderful encounter and food!

A rustic restaurant that impresses with very friendly service (including from the owner herself). We went there spontaneously and got a place for the week. Delicious beer on tap and the portions are always sufficient and fill you up very well. We fell into bed very satisfied and full.

As is so often the case, it is the inconspicuous, international establishment around the corner that reflects the most authentic impressions of a distant homeland to anyone who dares to immerse themselves. But nowhere is this more the case than in Riganato, located at the very tip of Stuttgart. An ambience that is brimming with tradition and is home to an incredibly attentive landlady and her unrivaled, fresh food: The spicy bread baked warm with delicious aromas like from the grill, the vegetables juicy like God's just-picked fruits and the meat, oh- the meat... However, I would not like to give any more information to the interested gourmets. You simply should have eaten here! That's all.

This was our second time at this restaurant today and unfortunately our experience was once again disappointing. The food was OK, but the quality of service left a lot to be desired. We already had long waiting times on our last visit, and today it was even worse. While we were still waiting for our drink, other guests who had already had their meals were served their second drink and we were forgotten when paying, which was very frustrating. In other restaurants that also offer good food, we have experienced significantly faster and more organized service. Due to these repeated negative experiences we will not come again in the future. It's a shame because the potential is there, but the service urgently needs to be improved.

Food is a poem. The bifteki is completely homemade. Starters fresh and delicious. Tzatziki 1a. As a drink I recommend the Chardonnay. Staff very friendly and fair, unfortunately long waiting time.

Typically Greek and delicious. As a Ruhrpottler, I miss the metaxa sauce and grilled peppers in knofi and oil. Tzatziki was fresh like the other things.

We came across this restaurant by chance on our weekend trip. Very rustic atmosphere but everything is generally very harmonious. Service was very accommodating and we were given extensive advice and recommendations. People often asked whether there were any wishes left open and whether everything was to their satisfaction. A visit is always worth it. The food was fabulous, everything was freshly prepared and the waiting times were manageable. There was nothing to complain about, gladly again!

The decor is cozy and rustic, exactly how you would want a traditional Greek restaurant to be. Wooden details, warm colors and loving decorations create an authentic atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We received a warm welcome and our order was taken quickly and with a smile. What was particularly nice was that the waitress was happy to give recommendations and recommend the house specialties to us. The food was simply fantastic – authentic and incredibly tasty! Every dish was prepared with attention to detail and tasted like it was in Greece. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh ingredients and the perfect seasoning, which brought out the traditional flavors perfectly. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch and we will definitely be back. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you! Absolute recommendation!

We spontaneously went there for the first time and will definitely come back. The service was very attentive and even asked our child if he wanted to paint something. The child's food was also served earlier. We had souvlaki and bifteki, and both dishes included tzatziki. I personally thought that was very good. Both dishes tasted really great. The meat was zero point zero dry.

The restaurant is housed in a nice, old house that exudes a lot of charm and creates a cozy atmosphere. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. The menu offers a good selection of Greek dishes, including both classics and lesser-known specialties. Particularly noteworthy is the Greek mountain tea, which is exceptionally tasty and a real highlight. A small downside, however, is the occasional smell of cold smoke, which can spoil the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a recommendable place for Greek food in a welcoming atmosphere.

Sorry, I don't understand the very good reviews at all. Staff well, starter Tirokafteri consisted only of feta and olive oil, roasted peppers were nowhere to be seen and garlic? You only find out that you don't get bread with it when it's brought to the table, why don't you say that when you order? The main course wasn't much better. The rice ball with peas looks like it came out of the cooking bag, totally dry. The skewers were ok luckily there was some tzatziki. Oh yes, the garlic bread that I ordered with the Tirokafteri was very good and enhanced the cream a bit. After the food was brought to me, I was no longer noticed. Would have liked to have another glass of wine or even try dessert. Unfortunately I was just ignored until I paid. The black thing I added to the cream is some pepper.

This was a great choice! Delicious Greek food in many varieties, lots of salads, perfect meat and just an amazing atmosphere. The restaurant is run by a Czech-Greek family and the owner Michaela is truly a person in her own right. She took such good care of us that we felt like we were part of the family. Thank you!

The two of us came here to fortify ourselves after a visit to the famous Stuttgart Automobile Museum. A nice restaurant with nice service. We were satisfied with the dishes we ordered and we ate deliciously. Anyone who likes Greek is in good hands here. We were there spontaneously, there were apparently already a few regular guests there, which convinced us even more.

We were there because of the many good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The service was very friendly including holiday advice. The portions were reasonable and reasonably priced. In addition, everything was very tasty. Unfortunately the gyros were in short supply that day. We'll do that next time.

I was in Mykonos, Greece 2 weeks ago , and I can say the Greek food I had at this Greek restaurant in Stuttgart, Germany is way better. The lady who greeted us was super nice and friendly . We tried the lamb chops , lobster , eggplant salad, vine leaves and tzatziki and I can say all exceeded our expectation . Food was fresh, delicious and service was excellent.
