I ate there three times, picked it up twice, and was massively disappointed. The tuna tartare was edible the first time. The second time, it was an absolute disgrace. Even the seasoning was completely different; the second time, it was far too spicy, and the tuna wasn't cut into cubes, but in shreds (like chopped). The maki were undercooked both times and falling apart; they used the edges of the salmon (leftovers that couldn't be used otherwise). The aburi maguro was definitely overpowered. Not only was the smell appalling and extremely fishy, ​​but the color of the fish was also rainbow-like. The asparagus described on the menu was simply omitted entirely. The spicy monkey beef was fundamentally delicious and tasted fresh. We haven't been able to sample it on-site yet. We reserved a table and found the place extremely crowded. The temperature in the lower (cellar-like) area was like a sauna. After being unexpectedly seated at our table and handed our menus, nothing happened for 10 minutes. They didn't even ask for drinks. Due to the extreme heat and the inattentive service, we decided to leave the establishment at short notice.

It's been better. The food was okay (at least the salmon dish; the beef was rubbery and stringy), but the service was a complete disaster, albeit friendly. I'll wait a while before my next visit.

Unfortunately, it was extremely loud; the noise was coming from the bar, where heavy glass cases were constantly being slammed onto the floor. It's a bit distracting if you want to have a conversation and eat in a restaurant.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, two out of five people had severe stomach aches afterward. What we found particularly unpleasant, however, were the restrooms and the route there. The kitchen looked absolutely chaotic, and the restrooms were completely filthy. All in all, this restaurant definitely needs a thorough cleaning. The servers are very hectic and sometimes confused.

Not worth repeating for me. All the dishes lacked the necessary seasoning. The atmosphere was like a train station and very loud. A different kind of leisurely meal is required.

We visited this restaurant today – three kids aged 16, 11, and 8, and two adults – and unfortunately, all of us were disappointed. The so-called “homemade” tea was very poor. The green tea my son ordered tasted like sugar water with only a hint of actual tea. The homemade lemonade was extremely sour, lacking balance in flavor. None of us could finish our drinks, so we ordered two large colas instead. What we received was room-temperature soda that didn’t taste like Pepsi or Coca-Cola, but a cheap alternative. It had no carbonation at all – it felt flat and old. My son agreed, saying it tasted “off.” Either the dispenser machine was broken, or the cola had gone bad. As for the food: We ordered the Mix for Two as a starter, which was acceptable. The vegetarian sushi mix was okay – the rice wasn’t prepared properly, but it wasn’t terrible. The regular sushi mix, however, was disappointing. The fish didn’t taste fresh, which is essential in sushi. The soy sauce was very low quality – overly salty and cheap-tasting. The wasabi was also fake, lacking the real flavor and punch. The interior felt outdated, and the tables were sticky, clearly not cleaned properly. We even found leftover rice on my daughter’s fork before we received our food. I ordered the chicken pho – it was okay, but completely tasteless. My daughter had the salmon, which also lacked flavor. Yesterday, we ate at a small Vietnamese place in Gunzenhausen and were very satisfied. Today was my birthday, and we had hoped for a higher-quality experience. Sadly, this turned out to be my worst restaurant visit this year – and on my birthday, no less. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fast and friendly, but that alone isn’t enough. I cannot recommend this restaurant. I decided to visit because it had so many good reviews, but I honestly don't understand how. I usually never write restaurant reviews, but I felt I had to share our experience – so others won’t be as disappointed as we were. – Kristian Kleba-Næss

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was recommended by friends who live in Celle and it met all expectations. Food was delivered very quickly. It was delicious, the staff was very kind, and the atmosphere allowed for conversation. The dish my friends recommended was Creamy Pranuts with crispy chicken. It was delicious. The three of them agreed on the recommendation so I followed them, we all had the same and it was great.

Ricetime is an Asian restaurant that primarily serves sushi but also other dishes. We went there as a family with two small children. The reservation was a flop. Online, you can only book for adults, so no high chairs. So I called. They didn't really listen. If you say you want to come with two adults and two children and need high chairs, they just say, "So, reserve for four adults?" I emphasized that we needed high chairs. The result was two seats, confirmed via text message. We arrived, and of course, it didn't fit. Luckily, there was still space. The ambiance is modern and chic, but everything is very cramped and very loud when it gets busy. The waitresses were friendly but also curt. The food was mediocre. I had roast pork... just somehow without a crust, with lots of rice and not much sauce. My wife had sushi with salmon to start with, but the salmon was sliced ​​too thickly and smelled and tasted very strongly of fish, which is not a sign of good sushi. The main course was salmon with teriyaki sauce. There was so much sauce on the plate that it was all swimming in it. So, the food could have been improved. The cocktails were tasty. We won't be back anytime soon.

We feel cheated and would even say that this is a case for the health department. We ordered a bottle of still water and received tap water in a dirty bottle. Small brown stains were visible on the outside, but it still had the label for branded water. We returned it and received another bottle, also open and dirty on the inside. The bottles are reused here and never properly cleaned because otherwise the label would come off. When we asked for a sealed bottle, we were told that they don't have one, which raises the question of where the water comes from. Tap water! The price was over 5 euros, which could be considered fraud. I was grinned at when I mentioned that I also come from the restaurant industry, and I immediately got the feeling that something was wrong. Our trust is gone, and we will never come back. The sushi also seemed tasteless and was on the table after only 5 minutes, so it was definitely not freshly made, but the price seemed to be made of gold. A catastrophe for us.

Whenever we're here on business, this place is one of our top three go-tos. The portions are impressive, and the taste hasn't disappointed so far. The sushi platter is always a highlight. The place is very nicely decorated, but unfortunately the acoustics are very loud if you sit in the middle. Drinks are brought quickly, and the food (we usually have around 15 people) is served really quickly, too. You only have to raise your own voice when your glasses are empty. On our three visits so far, no one has asked if we need anything else. It's important to know that so you don't have to wait unnecessarily long. The walk to the restroom can sometimes be quite slippery. Nevertheless, we still enjoy coming here.

The tofu noodles were very weak and tasted greasy. The burger was okay, but there wasn't enough tofu and sauce for the price, and the truffle mayo tasted like watered-down mayo. The rice with tofu and lemongrass sauce was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

The ambiance is breathtaking, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing, sushi is outstanding. I've eaten a lot of things, but nothing compares to this restaurant. The variety of drinks and food definitely has something for everyone. I highly recommend it, 100%.

We ate 'Mama Curry' here, one with tofu and one with chicken breast. This was the crispiest chicken breast of my review time so far. However, the typical Asian spice richness of the (thickened!) sauce could still be improved compared to our previous experiences. With fresh chillies and some sambal oleg added thankfully at no extra charge, it was a delicious treat. Service, if you draw attention to yourself, is quick despite the full tables inside and out. Food arrived after 15 minutes. Toilets are clean and botanically designed in an original way with green walls.

We are guests from the very beginning. Ricetime was our favorite restaurant. We were always there often, celebrated birthdays there and always recommended this restaurant. Definitely not for about a year now. The service started to get worse, people were forgotten, it took forever for the food to come or this was forgotten or was completely wrong. Anything can happen, no question. But these increased during our visits and we reduced them. The reason I'm writing this negative thing now is that we have now decided not to visit the restaurant anymore and definitely won't recommend it to others. As I said, the service has become poor, service staff are snippy and rude, something we weren't used to. Every time it takes forever until someone even asks for drinks and when they are there, the wrong food comes or oops, sorry forgot. Oops, sorry and laughing is no excuse in the long run. We didn't get the correct reservation several times, please not downstairs on the benches, should be downstairs on the bench, despite the assurance that there would be no bench when the reservation was made. Reservation for 4, ups only a table for 2. Currently it was like this, the shop was empty! asked for a table for 2, one table was occupied!! We are supposed to sit outside, everything inside is reserved, but not a single sign on the table, asked when is reserved, if there was a time, answer outside or not at all. We then went out, then other guests came without a reservation and were allowed to sit inside. When we asked about the sushi, the only thing that came up was that she didn't speak German well, so we asked if someone else could explain, no!!! We were overlooked when ordering, after 30 minutes and asking twice we were allowed to order. After another 45 minutes we were asked how long the food would take, oh uhh it was probably forgotten. When the food was brought, the service worker's thumb was stuck in the food. The sushi is now falling apart That was enough for us now. After 8 years we will no longer visit this restaurant. Sheep that it happened like this.

Ich kam aufgrund der guten Bewertung, die sich allerdings überhaupt nicht bewahrheitet haben. Der grüne Papaya Salat war frisch, aber ohne Salatsauce und da keine Säure vorhanden war, war er leider langweilig. Die Bowl sah toll aus, das gebratene Rindfleisch auch sehr zart und hatte einen zarten Geschmack nach Zitronengras aber darunter, und das war mehr als 3/4 des Inhalts, waren ausschließlich Nudeln, und auch die waren geschmacksbefreit. Schade …..

And it's best to reserve a table for the evening. Every time it's FULL it doesn't matter if it's lunch, but you're even luckier to get a table than in the evening.
