Ricetime in Celle

Unfortunately I can't understand the positive reports - the food was cold, chicken/rice and nothing out of the ordinary - after being informed the food came back exactly the same - I feel cheated - only the service was very friendly

Very friendly and fast service, very, very tasty food, long opening hours, lunch for a low price. Locally kept relatively small and dark, over 3 floors, quite cluttered and sometimes difficult benches.

We just ate a delicious Spicy Monkey with duck and chicken. We always like to come back 😃

Went here spontaneously and were very surprised by the service, friendliness and the food!!! We also really liked the ambience and the furnishings!!! Happy to come back!

The food is cheaper until 4 p.m., there is a separate menu. Prices are ok, unfortunately the food was only lukewarm. Good in taste.

Update 12/07/2024 I did it again... Mama curry with duck... super delicious. Another lovely evening September 2024 I was there on a Thursday and was super satisfied. Individuals at a group table, which also means conversations at the table. Mama curry with duck, it was sooooo delicious... Definitely again in December on my next visit to Celle

Sicherlich eine der angesagtesten Adressen in Celle, im Herzen der Altstadt. Die Karte bietet eine riesige Auswahl an Gerichten, was ich im Allgemeinen etwas skeptisch sehe. Aber alles, was wir probiert haben, war absolut schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet und - was die vietnamesischen Speisen angeht - absolut authentisch. Und am Ende gab’s sogar einen echten vietnamesischen Kaffee! Absolut empfehlenswert, auch wegen des überaus freundlichen und effizienten Servicepersonals. Einziger Minuspunkt ist der recht hohe Geräuschpegel und die rummelige Atmosphäre - nicht unbedingt ein Restaurant für ein gemütliches oder romantisches Abendessen

Top restaurant and service! Luckily reserved. Food tasty and fresh and served hot. Service team attentive and friendly! Eaten deliciously. Prices and performance are right here. Starters plate top, duck tasted great, my wife's curry too. I would like to give more stars for the performance! Two thumbs up!!!

Very nice restaurant and service. The food tasted good, even if the salmon on the sushi didn't look quite as fresh. Mom's curry with the crispy chicken was impressive because of its creaminess and the vegetables were still nice and crunchy. Gladly again.

the quality decreased for what ever reason. The Pho is not vietnamese, the beef does not taste fresh anymore, it comes without lime/peppers. Also missing chicken, prawn, or veggie option for pho. On the other hand, prices have increased.

Ein ausgesprochen leckeres Restaurant mit Asiatischer Küche, große vielfältige Karte und das zu fairen Preisen. Ich bin seit Jahren regelmäßig hier, es ist meine erste Adresse wenn es ums Essen gehen in Celle ist. Sowohl für einen kleinen Mittagssnack als auch mit Kollegen nach Feierabend.

Das Auge isst hier unbedingt mit. Das Ambiente ist schon toll gemacht, eindeutig auf junge Menschen als Gäste ausgerichtet und das funktioniert auch. Das Team sehr nett und aufmerksam, also auch da alles sehr gut. Vom ansprechend angerichteten Essen hatte ich bei dem ganzen Hype, der darum gemacht hat, mehr erwartet. Aber es war gut zubereitet, keine Frage. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis völlig in Ordnung.

Ricetime is a nice restaurant in downtown Celle. There is a diverse selection of food and drinks. There is also an excellent selection for vegetarians and vegans. The food is of a high level of quality and the portions are sufficient. The staff is friendly, courteous and always very attentive. We love the atmosphere and are always happy to come back. However, it is always advisable to reserve a table as there is a large crowd.

I definitely recommend it. I will definitely visit again. I was with my family on the weekend in Celle. All tables were reserved. However, they found a free table for us. Everything is great, the team, the food, the atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I are regular customers at Ricetime. We love the food and the ambience in the restaurant. The employees are always very friendly. Unfortunately, there was once a misunderstanding. We ordered food and picked it up. When we get home we realize that it wasn't our food. We then called Ricetime and spoke to the owner. He asked us to bring the food back. So we drove back, had the “wrong” meal and took our food with us. Unfortunately there was no more than a “thank you”. We found that to be inappropriate for the effort. Therefore one star less.

The best place for good sushi!! Despite the full house and countless orders, everything goes very quickly and if something doesn't happen, the team always tries to find a solution for you quickly. We've tried a lot of sushi and the pho was also great and we're always impressed! Just overall everything was great :)

Verstehe nicht so ganz wieso das Ricetime plötzlich auf dem 9ten Platz ist (Tripadvisor) daher habe ich mich entschieden eine Bewertung zu formulieren. Ich gehe seit ca. 6 Jahren hier regelmäßig Essen. Mal zum Mittagstisch, mal mit Arbeitskollegen, ab und an mit der Familie. Die Qualität ist durchgängig gut bis sehr gut. Wenn mal etwas schief geht (was sehr selten passiert), ist das Ricetime um eine kundenfreundliche Lösung bemüht. Service ist generell immer sehr umsichtig, teilweise merkt sich auch die Belegschaft die eigenen Vorlieben (z.B. Joel - bester Mann!). Die Küche ist immer recht gut besetzt, dadurch sind die Speisen schnell am Tisch (in die Küche kann man auf dem Weg zur Toilette reingucken). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Es ist für alle etwas dabei (vegetarisch/vegan) & Speisen können auch individuell angepasst werden. Bis zum nächsten Mal Konstantin

I absolutely loved my visit! The food was not only delicious, but also lovingly prepared. Every bite was a taste explosion, the ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. Of particular note is [dish or special detail] that really blew me away. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good and tasty food!

Although the restaurant was packed, we got our food in a very short time. We were all satisfied except for one whose duck was crispy in the sauce, but tasted okay. Maybe you should pay a little attention to that.

Food was already better. Spicey Monkey this time an overcooked stew and completely different than usual. Tofu in the summer rolls rock hard and strange. I wasn't as horny as usual the last few times, but now it's even worse. Too bad! You can do better. Delivery service would be awesome!

Without a reservation it can happen that you don't get a table, and for good reason: the restaurant is very busy because the food and service are absolutely great! In addition to the incredibly deliciously prepared sushi, there is also a large selection of "normal" dishes. The variety is really impressive. The guest's questions and requests are addressed, and if you are unsure about what you could eat, you will be happy and patient to help you choose. What I found particularly accommodating during my visit was that the level of spiciness of the dishes was adjusted upon request, so in this specific case the dish marked as spicy was not prepared spicy at all. The ambience is nice. There are two levels to sit on. The furnishings are kept dark, the decoration gives a jungle vibe. My only criticism is that there is an unpleasant draft in some of the seats in the upper room. This led to a star deduction. Otherwise everything was perfect! I'm already looking forward to my next visit :-)

My review criticizes Ricetime for poor service due to incorrect billing in which I, as a customer, was charged for things that I did not order. Despite multiple attempts to point out the error, the staff insisted that we must pay for the items recorded in the system. We literally felt forced to pay, which is a complete lack of goodwill. In my opinion this is outrageous and definitely shouldn't be like that!

It's not for nothing that the store is always busy. The price-performance ratio is simply right here. The service is always friendly. What I personally don't really like is the dark ambience.

Today was the first, but certainly not the last, time we went to Rice Time. The restaurant is very easy to get to and the food tastes fantastic. In addition, the staff is very nice. The waitress who served us today was particularly nice. I can only recommend the store!!

Yesterday my girlfriend and I ate a super delicious bowl. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to enjoy the meal at an outside table in the best weather. A return visit is guaranteed!

Hard to get a seat, very good food.

Very friendly operation/service. The restaurant is modernly furnished but a little louder when it is busy. The food is good. From our point of view, the portions were too big and we couldn't manage it if we also had a starter. But it was delicious.

Dette er et meget godt asiatisk spisested i den historiske gamle bydel i Celle. Efter min mening var betjeningen meget hurtig, og personalet var venligt. Maden var mega lækker med friske grønsager. og vi spise der 2 aftner på vores 2 dags tur til Celle.

Ricetime is definitely one of the best restaurants in Celle. I have been a regular guest since it was founded and have enjoyed every meal with fair prices, good quality and service. This restaurant is an asset to Celle's city center.

Wir vermeiden alle mittlerweile den Besuch dieser Gastronomie: es hatte zwar immer jeder ein gefälliges Gericht für sich gefunden, aber eben nur immer dasselbe eine. Viel schlimmer ist die Akustik der Räume, die durch den Hall für einen Lärm und Unwohlsein sorgen. Regelmäßig wurde bei uns "vergessen", das zu dem bestellten Essen auch eine Suppe gehört. Warum sind eigentlich die Wasserflaschen nicht verschlossen? Wir haben in keiner Weise das Gefühl, dass wir als Gast behandelt werden.

I went there for sushi on Friday, all I can say is that it was absolutely perfect, everything was right, I can only recommend it and will definitely come back

Beautiful dishes for a reasonable price. Crispy vegetables, perfect sauce and a good 'bite' of the fish. Only the tofu was a little less. Too bad for those who opt for the vegetarian variant.

Good looks, bad taste! Strawberry kush for €6.5 is just grapefruit juice, a very disappointing start. The duck dish was not fresh (dried out meat) and was overly salted and therefore inedible. Inappropriate for the price-performance ratio.

Nice restaurant with delicious sushi. The service was very courteous and attentive. The only difficulty is when sitting in the basement. I imagine continuous benches that you have to climb over would be difficult for some older customers. However, it didn't bother us.

Meget smakfull og god mat, god service og gode priser. Sentralt plassert i det vakre sentrumet. Sushien var fint tilberedt med gos smak. Suppen var deilig med gode laksebiter og reker. Vi hadde også en spisy biffrett med masse deilige grønnsaker. Alt smakte meget godt og maten kom raskt.

Been there for the second time now and it's really delicious! Great dishes, great ambience (even in the evening, you like to sit a little longer). Food was great, we've had the burgers and rice with baked duck several times. Also great cocktails and drinks on the menu. Gladly again!

Nice restaurant in Celle's old town. It was very busy at lunchtime. Great, friendly service. Very good, tasty food. Always vegetarian option possible. Good portions, very good prices. 👍

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing stay. You come in and are ignored. Once you had a place, things continued like this. After half an hour you were noticed (it wasn't full). Gum-chewing service doesn't work at all and then when I paid I got another €10 short and unfortunately noticed it too late. The food was great as always but unfortunately everything else was very bad.

Best address for good food in downtown Celle.

Located in the heart of beautiful and authentic Celle, this restaurant gave us our best food experience after 4 weeks of travelling France, Italy and Croatia. Two adults and two teenagers enjoyed a meal of sushi, Vietnamese specialties and gyuza, the food was delicious, tasty and fresh, the portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great and the staff friendly and English speaking. The guests ranged from families with small children to elderly couples, and they all seemed to enjoy themselves. We will definitely come back next time we visit Celle.

The restaurant gets four stars for its ambience and friendly, fast service. The food itself is mediocre, meaning it doesn't stand out from the usual Chinese-Asian cuisine. So my rice noodles and vegetables were okay, but the duck was the usual dry, thin, quick-fried version. A pity. Maybe the owners can stop by the chef at the Burgdorfer Bahnhofgasthaus, they have an exemplary duck there...

A hip Asian restaurant. The waiters were committed. The food came quickly and the prices were appropriate for the portion. Everything was delicious, only the peanut sauce didn't convince me, so I deducted one star. Highlight: The path to the toilet leads through the kitchen, where you can see the food being prepared. Der reservierte Platz gefiel uns nicht, das Umsetzen war kein Problem. Das Essen kam zügig und war lecker und reichhaltig. Trotzdem "nur" ein sehr gut, das Ambiente war mit zu unruhig.

We got a table in the basement, the noise level was a little more pleasant there, the food was incredibly delicious, the sushi two-man platter was highly recommended, every bite was a real treat, a feast for the palate and a feast for the eyes at the same time. The service was super friendly. Unfortunately, the way to the toilet is very long and the noise in the restaurant bothers me when it's busy. I would like more comfort and brightness.

We got a table for 3 in the middle of the room. Got the most delicious sushi and a children's menu for our son. Incl. drinks were approx. €60 Good atmosphere and good service.
