Rice ´n´ Roll Garbsen in Garbsen

Rice 'n' Roll is a really great spot in Garbsen for me when I'm in the mood for Asian food. They have a great mix of freshly prepared sushi, warm rice and noodle dishes, and Vietnamese specialties. The crunchy rolls and maki are especially delicious and beautifully presented. The place isn't huge, but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Well, it's okay... out of 10, I'd only give the sushi 7 points... otherwise, it's just average, don't expect too much. It's a shame you can only reserve a table from 5 pm onwards. We were there with 6 people at 3:30 pm and stood around for about 15 minutes before we managed to convince the waiter to let us sit at a table for 4 😄

The sushi at Rice 'n' Roll is high quality. We visit regularly and have always received fresh sushi. The selection is perfectly adequate for us, and the ambiance is quite nice. Personally, however, I'm bothered by the pricing. The food is tasty, but it's not exactly gourmet! I don't think the price-performance ratio is right, and we hope they'll adjust it. Also, the menus are sometimes sticky and could definitely use replacing! Otherwise, the service is usually very friendly. Despite the high price, we still treat ourselves to a visit to Rice 'n' Roll every now and then.

The restaurant in Wunstorf has a very pleasant atmosphere and the food was delicious. Furthermore, the staff member was very friendly and provided excellent service.

Perfectly fine and tasty. I've had better Asian sushi. But it's always a good choice before a movie. The price is a bit high for what you get. We paid €60 for two people. For that price, you'd expect a proper meal. The homemade drinks are fantastic!

I don't recommend this restaurant, neither for takeout nor for eating in. The takeout food was way too overpriced, the value for money wasn't there...the portions were too small for the price. When eating in, the wait time is too long, and on top of that, one of my orders was missing. The taste is also average...the soup just tasted like water.

We wanted to order the "Sushi Date" menu for two. When we made certain changes (we don't eat meat), we were told that menu changes weren't possible. This will be our last attempt to order here, thanks for nothing.

We went there for the first time today. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table right away. The restaurant was busy. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait more than fifteen minutes for our food. Everything tasted delicious. The service was very good. We'll definitely be back.

Had dinner there with work colleagues. I would recommend everyone to reserve in advance because it is already very busy. The food was delicious and really good. I deducted a star for the service and ambience because the ambience could have been a little bigger as it was very tight in terms of service. I just don't think it's nice when the employees wear sweatpants. Still, it was good and can recommend it.

Sushi is acceptable, but the phở is questionable, especially when made with old coriander. It seems as if hot water was simply poured over and without much seasoning, so it's not really beef broth. Lime and chilli were also missing as a side dish. The beef was also rather questionable. In other restaurants it tastes completely different. I know there can be differences, but unfortunately the taste and quality were a disappointment for me, especially for the price...

For me, this is my absolute favorite restaurant nearby! The food in the restaurant is presented really lovingly and with a lot of effort and it also tastes absolutely delicious. The ambience seems very well maintained and it is nicely furnished. Unfortunately, I sometimes find the music to be a bit too loud, but you can always tell a member of staff about this. The service is always friendly and polite. There is a point deduction for the delivery service. Unfortunately, every now and then the person delivering the food is just plain unfriendly. Just today my husband and I ordered something and left our phone number to call. After my husband didn't get a call and we happened to see the gentleman delivering at the door, my husband was accused of intentionally (!) leaving a false phone number. Personally, I just find that kind of cheeky. Since the car didn't have the restaurant's logo on it, I'm assuming it wasn't someone who works internally at the restaurant. In the past, I have occasionally had cases where I was treated unfriendly on the phone and simply hung up in the middle of a sentence. That's a real shame, because I never felt that anyone in the restaurant came across as unfriendly!

Good sushi but waiting times too long

Absolute disaster! I ordered food there for Christmas Eve. We asked by email and phone whether the order had been received and the food could be picked up at the suggested time. This was confirmed to me on the phone. Fact: The order was simply forgotten. According to the employee present, it was from the boss himself. What do I learn from this? In the future, order from the higher quality and reliable Reisland in Garbsen. Unfortunately it was closed on the 24th. We have been good customers since we opened. Not anymore.

According to the homepage, orders over €20 will be delivered to our postcode for a delivery surcharge of €5. A minimum value of €50 was then required in the online form. When we called we asked about our planned order value (€26.5). They are busy and I should order more. I ordered from a reputable competitor.

Went there spontaneously in the afternoon. The store is on the edge of a small mall. The sushi was super tasty, not expensive and was served cool (with dry ice). There is also ramen, but unfortunately not the larger Japanese menu. Nevertheless, we will definitely go there again.

We ordered food to take away which was also very tasty. However, the food wasn't ready at pick-up time and we had to wait another 20 minutes. In addition, the Gyosas that were once ordered were on the invoice but were not included in the delivery. Actually delicious food but unfortunately bad service 🫤

Hanover's best sushi far and wide. The portions are bite-sized, the fish is of absolute sushi quality and the service and presentation are fabulous. It's just a shame that the restaurant is in such an old building, but that has absolutely no impact on the service and quality. We will only eat sushi here from now on.

We went to Rice 'n' Roll in February. The sushi was fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. The selection of different dishes is large and there is something to suit every taste. The staff is very friendly and attentive, making the visit a completely pleasant experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting. We highly recommend Rice 'n' Roll - definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in the area!

A very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Really entices you to linger. Unfortunately it has one drawback. For me as a 😉carnivore, the choice of food is very limited. But every vegetarian's heart warms here. There are lots of vegetables here. But a little bit of beef or duck would really do the whole thing good. Correction: there is now a large selection of meat side dishes and therefore I have to change my review accordingly. Watt mutt Datt mutt, says the East Frisian 😉 So something for us carnivores too.
