The food didn't taste that good

We went there today to eat while passing through because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed. What was ordered: Starter 2x small mixed salad Main course 1x rip-eye steak with fries and 1x Ribs & More burger without tomatoes and with coleslaw salad and fries. On the one hand, there were errors in the service, the salads did not come as ordered but with the main course, well that's okay. The burger still came with tomato, even though I ordered it differently, which was annoying. The coleslaw just didn't come at all. But the biggest problem was that the food was lukewarm! We often go out for burgers or steak and our food is usually still slightly steaming when it arrives. Absolutely missing here. The cheese on the burger already spoke its own language, obviously melted and now solidified again because of the lack of temperature. There is no sign of heat on the steak even after cutting. Our mistake, we accepted it, we were hungry and looking forward to our food, we didn't want to wait any longer and ate it. The waitress just stopped by the table once and wished you a good appetite, thank you very much! At the end we asked if everything was OK, we said it was OK but not satisfactory, we asked questions and we explained the points. A cursory apology followed and that was that, or so it seemed. We decided not to have dessert and moved on. The pure quality of the meat was very good, there is nothing wrong with that, it also saves the second point, otherwise it would have only been 1 point. A little tip, ask if everything is OK after serving and not just at the end and look at the food you left out, our food was obviously no longer really hot. Yes, mistakes can happen, no question, but not so many at once. You should work on it.

Absolute recommendation! We have been regular guests with the company for years - the service is always first class, the team is super attentive and friendly. The food is at the top level – a highlight every time! In my private life, I regularly treat myself to a burger with fries – juicy, crispy, simply perfect. And the cocktails at the bar? Creatively mixed, great taste – simply great! If you haven't been here, you're missing out!

We were just there - with our dog. No dogs are allowed (which is very rare in restaurants but okay, we didn't know beforehand that dogs weren't allowed). We're waiting for a table at the entrance when a young waitress rushes past and says snappily, "No dogs allowed here!" Don't say the time of day but make direct announcements - we love it! Unfriendly 3000!! I've just read through the owner's responses to other reviews and it's really making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!! Some really cheeky and defiant answers! Spelling, grammar and punctuation are a complete catastrophe but well, it probably comes full circle.

There were three of us and we ate burgers. Super delicious! After the meal you are given hot, wet towels...that makes eating burgers fun! The service was attentive and very nice, the drinks were well chilled, and the subsequent cocktail was well made. We'll be back!

We've been there several times and it's always been good. Today the burgers were cold and the service was totally overwhelmed, it's a shame we won't be coming back and won't be advertising it anymore.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because we didn't get around to it. We made a reservation for 2 people well in advance (4 weeks) and arrived on time. The service spontaneously sat us at a table (not marked as reserved) in the passage, which unfortunately wasn't comfortable at all. Since there didn't seem to be any free tables for two, we accepted it. However, when the couple behind us got a better table at the back of the restaurant without a reservation, we asked again. We were then told that the other reservations would unfortunately get in the door before us, so all the good tables were already gone. We then left without ordering. From the outside we could see an empty, cozy table for two as we walked away... Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended for a special occasion for two.

I visit the restaurant once or twice a week. The service team is always friendly and you are served quickly and you don't have to wait long for your food, even when it's very busy like on a Saturday. The quality of the dishes (meat, ingredients, etc.) and the drinks (e.g. wine) is always excellent, the size of the portions varies a little, but always enough and you will be full. The price is reasonable for the quality offered.

We were a larger group (30 people) and the restaurant was well occupied. Nevertheless, everything worked out well. Everyone was very satisfied. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came to our table quite quickly. I can absolutely recommend salad with beef strips and spare ribs. The prices are reasonable and the quality corresponds! It is not the first time that we have visited and eaten here as a family. As burger and steak lovers, we always come to Ribs & More because it always tastes good and the quality of their dishes is high. The American ambience is successful. The service staff are always and without exception on the side of the guests. A great restaurant with great dishes and great service.

I have never eaten such good and tasty ribs. I can only accept that if you like eating ribs.

The three of us went to Ribs and More today. The first thing I noticed was that the prices online were cheaper than those on the menu. Approximately 10%. We ordered the rib eye steak. The waitress asked us how we would like it. We took medium. The waiting time for the food to arrive was about 40 minutes. When the food came, at first I thought it was supposed to be 300 to 400g. Seemed a lot less to me. Unfortunately the meat wasn't medium rare but rather well done. The taste was delicious but not worth 32 euros. The vegetables were almost raw. It consisted mostly of celery, a bit of pepper, carrot and broccoli. The fries were ok. The dessert menu was sparse with only two dishes, so we didn't take any more. We paid 110 euros for 3 steaks and 3 drinks. Unfortunately, I expected more here.

Nice from the outside, but waiters are disorganized and after waiting an hour and a half for our order we didn't get any food and waiters avoided us. We then left the restaurant. There were five of us on May 9th. Eating here and there weren't many guests and unfortunately we still didn't get any food. It would certainly have been delicious, but if waiters don't respond to guests, then you'll lose interest.

It's really great! At the table, we agreed that the burger was one of the best we've ever had, no matter where. The ribs were also a pure delight. Let us point out that we have traveled to the United States several times and we can say that what we ate here is really high quality and delicious! This address is fantastic and we will come back even if it is a little far away. It is an excellent stopover on the way to Europapark, Freiburg or Alsace via the German border. We were there on May 9, 2024 after a trip. We wanted to eat something nice after it was recommended to us by friends. Unfortunately, this was a disaster. We ordered our food and drink, drink came...we waited endlessly for the food...guests who came after us ordered and received their food before us. After some time the drink was empty and our friends ordered more...the drink didn't come, but unfortunately the food wasn't there either. Unfortunately, the Seevice was very overwhelmed that day (there wasn't much going on when we arrived)! After 1.5-2 hours we asked, but he still couldn't give us an answer to our question when our food would arrive...unfortunately. We were so hungry, we just wanted to pay and leave as quickly as possible. The waitress who charged us didn't even say an apology, all she said was: She can't help it...it's a shame and very sad. Perhaps if they had come to us and briefly explained at the table why... why... why it was taking longer, it wouldn't have come to this. Hence this bad rating on our part.

Yesterday we wanted to eat something after the Gutedel hiking day. We were a large group, I understand that it is complex with the coordination of meals etc. but I have never experienced what happened yesterday. First we waited for an hour, after we were asked again about the number of dishes, 5 dishes simply didn't arrive. My husband had a burger in front of him, I had nothing. It then turned out that they had simply forgotten to take in the 5 meals. Despite the obvious oversight, the service was very unfriendly. Despite my understanding of stressful situations in the catering industry, I would have liked to have been dealt with professionally. That's probably why it was the first and last time for us, sorry.

The decor is beautiful, super pleasant service and perfect food, the meat is served with a little vegetable to lighten it all up, it’s perfect. It’s just a shame that there’s no pepper sauce on the menu but otherwise it’s perfect.

We were there for dinner yesterday. The restaurant is located in the industrial area of ​​Müllheim. There are parking spaces behind the house and on the street. Unfortunately, due to the lack of parking skills, there have been very few parking spaces. The facade looks modern and so does the entrance sign. There were seats on the terrace around the house. Unfortunately the weather was too bad for outside. We then went through the entrance door, which was hung with a worn leather bag, into the anteroom. This one looked less appealing. We then went through another door into the restaurant. This looked very appealing. Nice furniture and a sideboard with a clear view of the grill. We were warmly welcomed and immediately shown to our table for two in the bar room. This room is large and open, a huge bar was an eye-catcher. The bartender was very friendly and greeted us. The room itself apparently serves not only as a dining room, but also for events. Loudspeakers and lighting systems hung from a ceiling structure. Our table was by the window, which can be closed with heavy curtains. Unfortunately, our table was stuck, which I immediately noticed in my T-shirt. The menu was leaning against the wall, as was the cutlery. The menu is tidy and not very cluttered. It is detailed and reference is made to vegan and vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately, the prices as offered online on the website do not correspond to the current prices. There should definitely be an update here. The cutlery was clean and the steak knives were very high quality. The very friendly waitress immediately took our drink order. I had a non-alcoholic wheat and my girl had a Lillet Wild Berry. My wheat was a Paulaner. The Lillet tasted very watery. The waitress accepted our meal request and the small salad arrived very quickly. You could order this with various dressings. Unfortunately my dressing request (lime) was out and I had to use the salad with balsamic dressing. The salad was fresh, lush and tasted great. My dressing was very sour. After about 20 minutes of waiting, our main course arrived. I had spare ribs with BBQ sauce and my girl had the beef skewer without potatoes. My food was warm. Unfortunately my girl's was cold. The bartender wanted to warm up the food again. The beef was cooked to perfection and would have been the sole of a shoe once reheated. Therefore we refused. The meat tasted very good and the vegetables were still crunchy. But this was very fennel-heavy, which is not to everyone's taste. The herb butter was also very good and tasted homemade. Unfortunately, my spare ribs were very dry, despite the BBQ sauce, but tasted good. The fries were very good. The food was served on wooden boards and beautifully presented. The portion size was also good. After the meal we were given 2 hot small towels to clean our hands. I haven't experienced this before, but I thought it was great. For dessert, my girl ordered a chocolate souffle with wild berries. This was served warm and looked very appealing. The souffle was very chocolaty and the fruit tasted great. We were then able to pay the bill with a card. Because the meal was cold, dessert was on the house, which I think was a very kind gesture. The toilets were very clean. A broken urinal was covered in the men's area. Soap and paper towels were provided. My conclusion is somewhat divided. On the one hand, this is a very nice shop that has a lot to offer. The staff is friendly and quick. But a restaurant that makes its business with meat cannot make mistakes when it comes to meat. And this just happened during our visit. I would give 3 stars here. The apology and dessert made up for it a lot, but I would have preferred to pay the bill in full and have great food in return. Therefore we increased the stars from 3 to 4.
