Super service and top price performance

Unsuitable for people with celiac disease! Eleven of us went to Esskultur for dinner. First, the positive: The service was very friendly and accommodating, and everyone was initially satisfied with their food. However, my sister suffers from celiac disease and had carefully researched in advance whether she could safely eat there. The restaurant even emphasizes on its website that it offers gluten-free dishes—which is why we decided to go. However, the appetizer platter only served gluten-containing bread. For dessert, my sister specifically asked again whether it was gluten-free. A friendly employee then came over, explained the kitchen processes, and even showed her the flour used. This made my sister feel safe and trusted this assurance. That night, however, the bitter truth unfolded. My sister vomited for hours because the food had apparently contained gluten. For her, this not only caused significant physical discomfort but also serious health risks. We are very disappointed, as we had inquired several times and received assurances. Therefore, this restaurant is unfortunately not suitable for people with celiac disease.

Very good. The restaurant is beautifully located directly on or above the Klemmbach stream. The terrace is a great place to sit, and the atmosphere is very pleasant, especially when there's a bit of activity in town. The interior is also really nice. We ordered various tapas, all of which were very tasty and varied. The service was good, and the prices were absolutely reasonable.
