Wir kennen dieses Lokal seit 2001 und haben das Essen, die Atmosphäre und die herzlichen Besitzer geliebt. Selbst nach unserem Umzug kamen wir noch oft. Doch dann wechselten die Besitzer, und damit auch das Essen – es wurde immer schlechter. Wir waren etwa drei Jahre nicht mehr dort und beschlossen heute, wieder hinzugehen, in der Hoffnung, dass sich etwas verändert hatte. Nein, nur die Preise sind gestiegen, nicht die Qualität des Essens.

Nach 6 Jahren mal ein Update meiner Rezension. Über die Jahre gleichbleibende Spitzen Qualität! Super nettes Personal. Große Portionen für einen günstigen Preis, die super lecker sind. Das Ambiente ist sehr sauber und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Mein persönlicher Favorit: Der Taxiteller Ein Gedicht

Das Essen ist gut. Sehr lecker, man kann nicht meckern. Die Preise sind zwar hoch und ich kann den Frust in den anderen Rezensionen zwar nachvollziehen, aber heutzutage ist es doch überall teuer. Ob meine Gyros jetzt hier 1€ mehr kostet als woanders oder nicht ist meiner Meinung nach nicht das wichtigste. Das Personal ist top! Extrem nette Leute, immer mit einem guten Wort anzusprechen.

Der beste Laden in Kirchlengern! Die Mitarbeiter sind so nett und richtig menschlich! Immer wieder gerne geht meine Familie dort essen, allein weil die Menschlichkeit dort so herzlich ist.

Klasse Essen immer frisch. Personal super freundlich. Preise sind in Ordnung Besuch auf jeden Fall Wert. Überzeug euch gerne selber. Ich war hier mit meinen Jungs wir haben soger 1 Liter Cola zur unserer Bestellung obendrauf bekommen. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir haben am Sonntag hier was zu Essen bestellt und abgeholt, also von Preis Leistung kann man nicht sprechen knapp 50 Euro bezahlt für 1 Pizza ,1 Gyros Teller und denn Rodos Teller der echt sehr sehr sparsam bestückt war. Also echt wir geben gerne Geld aus für gutes Essen aber sowas geht einfach garnicht. Wir kennen denn laden eigentlich anders also kommt zurück zur eure alte Qualität. Schade.

Meine Frau und ich lieben besonders die Pizzen sehr. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und schnell.

This Greek snack bar really surprised me in a positive way. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but what's served here has real heart and soul. The gyro was perfectly seasoned, fried crisply, yet juicy – ​​just as you'd expect. The portion was generous. I have to particularly highlight the tzatziki: fresh, creamy, and with just the right amount of garlic – no comparison to the ready-made sauces you often get. The service was friendly and attentive; you immediately feel that the food is cooked and served with love. Even small special requests were fulfilled without any problems. What I particularly liked: Despite being a fast-food restaurant, the place doesn't lose its personal touch. You're not just rushed off, but treated like a guest. The bottom line: No frills, no chain fast food – just honest, good food with Greek flair. I'll definitely be back.

I really don't understand the negative comments here. Some people always find something to complain about – even when everything's perfect. For me, everything was perfect from start to finish: super friendly service, great quality, and an all-around pleasant experience. Anyone who's dissatisfied here is probably looking for the problem within themselves. I'd definitely be happy to come back and can only recommend it!

Joa, was soll ich sagen? Jahrelang schon Kunde dort (ca.15 Jahre), nur in den letzten 2-3 Jahren nicht mehr so oft. Der Laden ist auch schon durch ein paar Hände gegangen. Gestern mal wieder rein und festgestellt, das die Preise auf ein ziemlich selbstbewusstes Niveau gestiegen sind. Soweit so gut. 2x die 9 (klassischer Gyrosteller mit Tzatziki, Pommes, Kraut) für 13,90€ 🥴 bestellt. Ich wollte Reis extra: ist leider ausverkauft- jau komm, passt schon. Jetzt kommen wir zu dem Punkt der für mich, vor allem bei dem Preis, absolut inakzeptabel ist. Meine Frau wollte Bauernsalat anstatt Kraut was sie auch bekam. Kennt ihr das wenn ihr beim essen darüber nachdenkt ob etwas schlecht ist oder nicht? Wir haben dann aufgrund des kompostartigen Geschmacks/Geruchs darauf verzichtet den Salat zu essen. Mit dem Essen bin ich 20 Minuten nach Hause gefahren und dann hatten wir Hunger so das zurückgeben keine Option war. In 15 Jahren hatte ich nie einen Grund zur Beanstandung und ich denke wenn es um eine vertauschte Bestellung geht dann drückt man auch mal ein Auge zu, bei diesen fast schon Restaurantpreisen erwarte ich eine 1a frische und Qualität. Eventuell geht’s Berg ab bei Rhodos was bedauerlich wäre….

Super leckere Gyros Pita (große Portion) und netter Service. Der Laden wurde gerade erst mit neuen Möbeln ausgestattet welche zum verweilen Einladen.

I have no idea what's going on with Rhodos Grill. I've often gotten food from them for personal use, we frequently ordered food for work (it was always good, plentiful, and hot), and we even had food from Rhodos Grill delivered to a party. But now? Aside from the fact that prices have drastically increased several times since the coronavirus pandemic, and you now pay restaurant prices (this is still a takeaway), the quality has declined dramatically. One meal, according to the menu, consisted of three minced steaks (bone dry), fries (over-fried, so hard and dry), rice (it was missing), and farmer's salad (more like tomato salad with three cucumbers), and the other consisted of lamb (it was okay), a pork skewer (dry), gyro (that was actually good), fries (see above), and coleslaw (meh). If it were cheap, you could say, "It wasn't good, but it was cheap" - but no. It was expensive and bad. What a shame. We've decided not to buy anything from there anymore. The staff there were friendly, though.

We took food to go. After 10 minutes in the restaurant, we already smelled like a large fry. This didn't dissipate over the course of the evening. The ambiance was rather shabby and didn't make a very inviting impression. You could only see through the windows to a limited extent. The food was hot and greasy—in the truest sense of the word. We could barely unwrap it at home. The wrapping paper was dripping with grease. We hadn't been there in a really long time, but the food tasted much better back then. The service was attentive and friendly.

I ordered food yesterday and the meat tasted strange. Since then I have had diarrhea and am constantly vomiting, which I can attribute to the meat. The shop should be closed and the health department informed

Customers with gourmet blocks will be deducted. Ordered online with payment in cash and information stored via Schlemmerblock. When we picked it up they said we tried to reach you by phone (lie). Ordering online with Schlemmerblock is not possible and cancellation is not possible, you have to pay in full!

This shop was quite busy when we arrived, which is always a positive sign for a snack bar/restaurant. We ordered pizza twice and fries. The pizza was very, very tasty, in my opinion even on the same level as expensive restaurants. For those who don't love these ultra-thin pizzas, it's just the thing. We wanted to try out the grill today because we found it in the Schlemmerblock. Unfortunately, when we ordered we were told that only certain dishes were available with the block. Price, list of services absolutely top, can only recommend the Gyros Burger. For €6 it's the best you can get anywhere. The guys on site are also super friendly.

The best gyro I've ever had! The meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection - nice and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The portion was generous and the side dishes – whether fries, salad or tzatziki – harmonized wonderfully. The homemade tzatziki in particular was a real treat, fresh and creamy. A relaxed atmosphere and friendly service made the evening perfect. You'll be happy to come back here. Absolutely recommended!

The food was OK. The staff weren't particularly friendly - they liked to argue. And the place is very dingy, and all the tables were dirty. The chairs also stuck. The orders were not answered - what I mean is that I wanted the salad without onions and yet there were onions in it. We won't eat there anymore!

Unfortunately we ordered our food from Rhodes because Achilles was no longer open. The food tastes much better there. Well, we placed our order online and picked it up after about 30 minutes. Half of the food was missing and it wasn't particularly good either. We will never order anything to eat there again and hope that Achilles will be open again soon.
