Wow!! We had a fantastic Christmas dinner at this lovely spot. Among the fantastic and attentive service, the meal was lovely and we had a stunning evening view of the Rhein River. A memorable Christmas dinner for all!

Food is solid! The price is unjustified! For the prices you should actually get very good food but you get normal food! A Pepsi Cola for €6 for 250ml. Overpriced! Schnitzel for €22 with fries. No thanks, far too little and no special taste experience! Revise your prices again. You are not a star restaurant!!!!!

We ate here several times for business purposes. In general, the location is beautifully located and there is plenty of space for larger events. However, I personally wouldn't eat here because the dishes are ok, but given the prices they actually have to offer more. The spaetzle is not homemade, and the schnitzel and roulade also had little to offer. The creme brulee, on the other hand, was good.

We were there as a group of 20 people. Everything great. The store is very well organized. Would love to come back.

Visited in winter, ate inside. Very nice, great pleasant atmosphere with a cozy decoration. View of the Rhine, good service and delicious food. Perfect if you have to wait an hour for the next train (10-15 mn walk to Mannheim main station)

Wir waren letzten Freitag mit mehreren Personen zum Essen dort. Eines Griechen wirklich unwürdig: Tsatsiki schmeckte wie aus dem Metro-Eimer, im Taramas waren noch ganze Kartoffelstücken drin und wenn dort ein tropfen griechisches Olivenöl drin war, dann heiße ich Otto. Die Hautpspeisen: Gyros-Salat - oh je, der Salat war nicht angemacht, nur einige Streifen von der Balsamico-Creme waren zusehen (das ist doch italienisch..), Tomaten? Nö, es gab nur 2 kl. Kirschtomaten. Und das Gyros? Nun, das war jedenfalls nicht vom Spieß sondern aus der Tüte - sog. Pfannengyros; kein Olivenöl und keinen "richtigen" Essig -Pfeffer und Salz haben es dann auch nicht mehr rausgerissen. Ingesamt: geschmacklos. 2 weitere Personen hatten Rinder leber mit Country Potatos (gleich dicke Scheiben Bratkartoffeln). Leider schmecket die Rinderleber bei beiden säuerlich - sie haben sie nicht gegessen. In Ordnung war das Lachssteak und das Rinderfilet. Für uns ist dieser Laden ein NoGo geworden - auch wenn die Aussicht schön ist. Wir gehen wieder zum Griechen in Bergerhausen, wo der Chef selber in der Küche steht und man ihm bei der Arbeit zusehen kann.

The FlammenKuche (hope i spelled it correctly) was very good. Really thin and flavourful. The chicken and mustard was good too. The creme brullee was ok.

The kitchen has noticeably deteriorated compared to before, but otherwise there is still a great, cozy atmosphere to feel good in.

The outdoor area is unkempt, the service is very friendly but the menu is shocking, the prices for Palatinate wine, which I get in the Palatinate for very little money, is completely overpriced here, actually everything here is too expensive. I can even eat and drink cheaper at the Dorint Hotel. Next level shit for me. I won't be coming here again.

Maybe we were just unlucky? The meals came late and then wrong too!

.... und das ist auch leider schon fast das Highlight. Umproblematische Reservierung ueber Buchungssystem, Kühler Empfang des Maetre, super freundliche und hilfsbereite Bedienung. Erstaunlich was fuer Preise man fuer Getränke und Convenience Produkte aufrufen kann, hier kann man schon fast von Wucher sprechen, ohne dabei ein schlechtes Gewissen zu bekommen. Burger mit Pommes ueber 21 Euro, Flammkuchen ueber 15 Euro und ein Bier ueber 6 und eine Flasche Wasser fast 9 Euro, da klingelt die Kasse. Wiederholungsfaktor wegen Ambiente und Ausblick 60 %, wegen Speisen und Getränken maximal 5%.Macht weiter so und es werden bald gar keine Gäste mehr kommen, da braucht man nicht Nostradamus sein.

The outside area makes a somewhat run-down impression, tables and chairs in particular make an unsightly impression. There is a great atmosphere inside with a fireplace and comfortable furniture. The drink service took a long time when I visited, I can't comment on the food. The drink prices are very high.

If you're out and about all day, it's not suitable for eating enough. The menu also offers very little for people with wheat and potato allergies.

A simple restaurant. Location great. However, the prices are at most too high. Wine spritzer for €8.20 and a scoop of ice cream for €4.40. This doesn't even justify the situation. The waiter was listless and we waited over 20 minutes for the drinks. There wasn't much going on.

I've been there several times with our son (both outside in the summer with a view of the Rhine) and in the winter by the fireplace. So far the service has been very courteous and we felt comfortable. One can certainly argue about the somewhat limited selection of dishes and the prices. But I prefer to choose from a small menu and then get good quality food. Anyone who expects star cuisine will be disappointed. If you like good, “rustic” dishes such as tarte flambée, schnitzel, etc., the restaurant is highly recommended. We'd love to go there again.

The service is on point. The location and atmosphere are beautiful. The sea bass was very tasty. Unfortunately the schnitzel was a failure.

Staff super friendly and accommodating - but in the end it's not worth the price - I had a lukewarm steak and lukewarm side dishes - and the steak wasn't evenly fried. That's just not possible at that price.

We sat by the window in the large hall and had a wonderful view outside of the Rhine. The service was great. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered a small mixed salad as a starter and a burger for the main course. The salad was freshly prepared and the dressing was delicious. The burger was sensationally delicious and so were the fries.

A visit with 8 people at lunchtime without a reservation was also carried out in a professional and friendly manner. Particularly friendly service No.15!

It's not a problem if the food and especially the drinks are simply expensive. But if the food is really bad, then it stops being fair. Burger Menu cold and old fries, like leftovers warmed up three times and the salad was already sour, already bad and no longer edible. You don't know that from the worst street snack bar. Burger bread burnt and all for over 20 euros, really bad

It's nice to sit, the wine was good. But the prices are completely exorbitant. Fl. Water 0.75 l 8.10 euros. 0.2 wine €8.40 Banal tarte flambée €15. Large coffee €6.20. We don't have to go there a second time.

The view of the Rhine is of course the highlight of the restaurant.

Food and drink are OK but the prices make you sweat 😞unfortunately

The dishes offered are ok. However, the menu is quite clear and most of the dishes are overpriced. But in return you get friendly service and a nice place right on the Rhine.

The food is average and a bit in the higher segment. The service is courteous.

Seit längerer Zeit waren wir nicht mehr in den „Rheinterrassen“ und haben uns auf den Abend im Gastgarten gefreut. Tatsächlich hatten wir gutes Wetter und einen guten Platz unter den Platanen zugewiesen bekommen. Getränke waren flugs auf dem Tisch umd das Essen ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Jedoch waren alle ein bißchen enttäuscht. Der gemuschte Salat mit Ziegenkäse lieblos und mit wenig Dressing, das Brot zum Wurstsalat pappig, und der Salat beim Rheinterrassen-Burger matschig, das Briochebrötchen trocken und alt im Geschmack, der coleslaw fad, dazu mit fast 22€ überteuert. Die drei Punkte gibt es für das freundliche und flinke Personal, schöne Location, saubere sanitäre Anlage.

A great place to relax on the Rhine. The tables with a direct view of the Rhine in the beer garden must be reserved in advance. Food was good, drinks too. The service was nice and friendly, a bit confusing ;-) We all know that the prices in the catering industry have been adjusted, understandably - here too.

The restaurant is located in a quiet place within a park a few meters from the River Rhine and a short walk within this park from the Schlosspalace, the baroque palace frequented by Mozart during his stay in Mannheim. The food really pleased me with fresh ingredients and tasty beers.

Great beer garden 🍻 but you should plan for slightly higher prices when it comes to food.

I've been there several times, but today was the last time. The three of us waited at a table. The first waitress we asked after 15 minutes to take our waitress said she wasn't responsible. I asked her colleague who was walking past us to come over so we could order. She just nodded, but didn't come to our table for another 10 minutes. So we decided to leave hungry and thirsty and eat somewhere else. The food is good, but actually too expensive for a beer garden! The same applies to the drinks: 0.5 liters of beer for €6.30 is no longer beer garden standard... If the service isn't right, you'll lose guests in the long run.

Today at lunchtime in the Rhine terraces: not a good day - the waiter pours the non-alcoholic Hefeweizen over my pants while serving, apologizes of course, but the compensation only consists of covering the cleaning costs, which is a given - nothing with "Espresso works." on the house” or “next drink is free”, I would have been happy with that - no, the only comment from the unfriendly boss was: Mistakes happen...they all do People...blabla...I offered to do the cleaning... Guys, with your prices, which are quite overpriced for the level offered, I would have expected a lot more customer orientation - always remember: you live from the people who (want to) come to you and also from your reputation, which has been pretty damaged today has....

Wir waren in der großen Gruppe im Rahmen eines dienstlichen Abendessens dort. Die Location ist schön, der Service gut, aber die Preise für die Essensmenge völlig überzogen.

So absolutely not worth it for the price, I already paid half and had twice as much on my plate. I ordered the rump steak and I'm pretty sure it wasn't 250g

Despite the late hour and although we only ordered a few drinks (it was a business meeting), the staff were always friendly and without a single sign of impatience.

Es erwartet Sie ein Lokal in wunderbarer, ruhiger, entspannter Lage mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Rhein. Geschultes, professionelles, aufgeschlossenes und sehr freundliches Personal unterstützt Sie unaufgeregt und geduldig bei der Auswahl des Gerichts und des passenden Weins. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Wir entschieden uns jeweils für den Flammkuchen: einmal die Elsässer Art und einmal die italienische Variante. Und was soll ich sagen: Beide schmeckten exakt so wie Sie heißen. Das ist das größte Kompliment und zeugt vom Sachverstand des Betreibers und des Kochteams. Der Nachspeise konnten wir auch nicht widerstehen: Es gab einen saisonalen Eisbecher und eine Créme brûlée. Wieder zwei Volltreffer. Alles zeugt von der frankophilen Art des Hauses.

I was a guest at your place and unfortunately I had a bad experience. There was an earwig in my drink, I suspect it was in the straw or in the Lillet berries and ended up in my mouth while I was drinking (very disgusting and unappetizing). I pointed this out to the waitress and she really apologized to me. When she told the waiter about it, he made it clear to her that this couldn't be the case and was impossible. The fact that I lost my appetite after I had an insect in my mouth and bit on it was not taken into account, I should pay my bill. The bartender said to his colleague, did you hear that, how disgusting. But should I pay for that?! I wouldn't go to the restaurant again. Although I was offered a drink on the house, I naturally lost my appetite for food and drink. I would have liked a lot more here.

Was there for lunch on business. Hamburger with fries € 21.60, glass of white wine (0.2L) € 11.50 and a manageable portion of gnocchi € 17.30...BUT: Mini portion of Parmesan charged extra € 1.90... I would say: that is only for fans. I definitely don't belong to that group. I wish you much success. Uwe
