A fantastic experience at Schnitzelhaus Rheinhausen! Yesterday, a friend and I visited Schnitzelhaus Rheinhausen for the first time – and we were absolutely thrilled! Thanks to our GPS, we found the restaurant without any trouble. We were greeted very warmly upon arrival and, despite having a reservation, were shown directly to a free table. We had to wait a little while for our order to be taken, but it was definitely worth the wait. You could see that everything was freshly prepared: the schnitzels were regularly breaded and fried fresh, and the fried potatoes were also made fresh – giving it a real home-style feel. We ordered a Waldschnitzel (with creamy chanterelle sauce) and a Bauernschnitzel (with bacon, onions, and a fried egg). Both dishes were excellent! Large portions, perfectly cooked meat, delicious side dishes – simply great food. The portions were so generous that we took the leftovers home with us. At €18.00 per schnitzel, the value for money is absolutely spot on. The personal interaction was also fantastic: The owner is very friendly, we chatted briefly, and were even given a handshake goodbye at the end. By the way, the drinks were on the house. In short: A wonderful experience with a warm atmosphere, fresh cuisine, and huge portions. We'll definitely be back!

Such a huge selection. We ordered gyros and Mediterranean schnitzel. Omg!!! So big and sooooo delicious. A complete success, this culinary journey. Thank you so much! We had delicious schnitzels at this fantastic schnitzel place. The reviews were spot on. The service and food were great. The atmosphere was okay, but really not important, because the food was delicious. A good, thick schnitzel with a good amount of sauce. Prices had gone up a bit, but 16 euros for the schnitzel in the picture is really not too expensive. Drinks were also a bit more expensive, but at least they were still in 33cl glass bottles. Compliments to the owners.

At first, you think it's a small snack bar, then you sit down, order your food, and are surprised by the service. After a short wait, your food arrives. The portions were generous and very tasty. The bill was another pleasant surprise. For about €22 per person, you're full, plus you can take a small portion with you if you want. We were all pleasantly surprised by this small, unassuming shop. It's a great insider tip.

Hence, 5 stars again! March 29, 2025: The food was good, but unfortunately the schnitzels were now €1-€2 too expensive. Otherwise, the food was delicious. There were three of us and we sat down. Then a couple arrived, and the staff assigned them a seat next to us. We were able to order drinks first and then their food. Then the couple next to us ordered. Unfortunately, the two schnitzels at the neighboring table arrived 10 minutes before our three schnitzels. Therefore, I have to deduct two stars from the five given. We'll be back and hope for improvement! This shouldn't happen, especially since we were almost the only guests there! 11, 2025: Super, super, super! We're from Dortmund and visited my brother-in-law in Duisburg, who we already know from the restaurant, and just like last year, we were absolutely thrilled with this fantastic restaurant. The schnitzel was served 10 minutes after ordering, it came with a small salad, the schnitzel itself had a great taste and the sauces were great too. The fries were fantastic too! I've rarely eaten such good fries! The Hungarian schnitzel for 15 euros was amazing! I eat around 40 schnitzels a year in around 30 different restaurants and this is my number 2! The number 1 place is in a good, traditional restaurant in Neulisternohl in the Sauerland, but the restaurant is closing in the next few months due to old age. So this schnitzel house will soon be our number 1! They have the best schnitzel, the best sauces and the best sauces, all with salad, and all at great prices! That's why the average rating is currently 4.7 out of 5 possible stars! Awesome!!!!!!

I had the best schnitzel of last year here. Absolutely delicious. Freshly made and fried in a frying pan. Just as it should be. The service was very friendly. Special requests are accepted and fulfilled. Don't expect a restaurant. It's a well-appointed chip shop. But it's still perfectly fine. Hence only 4 stars. I will be eating here regularly from now on. Seven of us were here, and everyone was satisfied. The prices are also very reasonable. There are about 40-45 different schnitzel variations here. Other dishes too, of course. You can find the menu online.

The food TODAY was simply bland. There wasn't a single crumb of salt on the fried potatoes, the schnitzels weren't of the quality I'm used to, and they weren't seasoned very well either! Furthermore, the consistency of the sauce was as if it had been kept warm for a long time. I was truly disappointed throughout today and sad about it, because otherwise I would always describe everything as almost perfect. Please return to the old quality I'm used to.

We were visiting Duisburg today and come from Wuppertal. Five of us stopped there this afternoon and got a table straight away. The drink order was quick and the thirst was quickly quenched. After looking through the menu, we decided on different dishes and the order was taken in a friendly and quick manner. Within 15 to 20 minutes the food was brought and I was amazed at the size of the portions. Man, that was a huge schnitzel. I asked if this was intended for 2 people, but was told no. So, I had the Holstein style schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad and didn't make it. My companions didn't quite manage to eat either; one had to have her food packed. I have known the Schnitzelhaus since 2013. The prices have increased since then, but the quality and quantity have remained the same! It always tastes great, the plate is always filled the same way... some locations should take note when they increase the prices and maintain the quantity. The Schnitzelhaus is simply a top location and highly recommended! The ambience is just like that in Rheinhausen, at some times of the day it's stupid because of the parking spaces. But service, quality 1A!

Pan-fried Jägerschnitzel with homemade sauce. The madness. So if everything stays the way I got to know it, I'll come in once a month to eat there. Even vegetarian dishes such as cauliflower etc. As a schnitzel lover, I was thrilled. The schnitzels are made from fresh meat so no frozen food! A trained chef that you would never find in a snack bar prepares these delicious schnitzels fresh day after day. If you're really hungry, I recommend the gyros schnitzel with either fried potatoes or fries and salad. Packs are also provided if you don't finish eating. Then you can take the rest home with you. In addition, dog owners are also allowed in with their four-legged friends. All in all, if you like schnitzel, you'll definitely get your money's worth!!!! 5 stars top

The selection of schnitzels is truly extensive and there is definitely something for every taste. What surprised me most was the size of the portion. I'm already a good eater, but I struggled a bit towards the end. There is also no negative point to be made regarding the price-performance ratio offered. The schnitzel was of top quality and didn't put too much strain on your wallet. In addition, the service staff is very friendly and attentive. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come here again.
