Nice place right on the Rhine beach. Good food and friendly staff.

Ordered a table on the terrace for 6 people. When we arrived we were offered a table for 4 people. We then only received “shrugs” and helpless excuses. Solution-oriented behavior was completely missing. We had no choice but to leave the restaurant.

One star is too many, never again the food was the worst thing that happened to us, I asked from Nico because we were good acquaintances and I was told that she was on vacation, that's not true, there was an old man who was unkempt in the restaurant running around, never again

It's lovely to sit on the terrace with a view of the Rhine. The staff is attentive and very friendly. As a starter I had an antipasti plate, which was very disappointing. The ingredients were simple canned olives, supermarket ham, and salami without any real southern charm. There were also a few slices of zucchini, but they didn't make it. For the main course I had a classic calzone pizza, which, apart from the spiciness and the boring cheese, was juicy and good. Very tasty chef salad and the Jicco pizza was fantastic

Had a cup of coffee/cappuccino. No drinks, old biscuits and only cash payment. Had to pay €6.90 but the waitress only had €3 and not €0.10. Very weird. Soooo, we won't be coming back here.

We ate at your place three times out of the five days we spent at the adjacent campsite. It was 3x super delicious!!!!!! Everything was right!!! We will definitely come back!

Ordered for pickup. Food tasted good, but some things were missing from our order. When we called again by phone, no one was available (during regular opening hours). The missing food was of course taken into account. Furthermore, a salad contained several old, rotten lettuce leaves and the lettuce stalk, which made the salad inedible.

Stands out positively from the other restaurants. Everything fit.

We were there in a group of 5 people. One person has a severe food allergy, which was mentioned when ordering, properly noted and confirmed. When the food came, it contained exactly what was previously defined as highly allergic (emergency injection would have been necessary after consumption). The chef was shown the dish, at first he denied that the ingredients were used, but they were obviously visible, then he took the plate without a word, walked away and had the dish freshly prepared. Which was then communicated by the friendly waitress. Another of the 5 guests forgot to order the main course in the kitchen. At least three people could eat their dinner at the same time. Oh yes...when we came we ordered 4 Aperols and a large apple juice spritzer. Due to the clumsiness of the service, which can happen and which is not blamed, two people were badly "showered" by an Aperol falling from the tray and the large apple juice spritzer in their shirts and especially their trousers area. The waiter apologized - as I said, that can happen. But what struck me as disturbing was the fact that the boss was in no way interested in what was happening in his immediate vicinity. When we asked (the fact that we had to ask is worth mentioning) whether a cloth could be provided for wiping clothes dry, a fresh 80x80 cm tablecloth was handed to the person concerned as a "drying cloth" without further comment by the boss . Even that seems to have been too much, it seemed. The evening passed harmoniously among the five people. To be honest, at least at the end after paying, I would have expected that the two showered guests would be offered at least a schnapps at the house's expense - no cleaning costs are claimed, so this gesture would have been considered appropriate. The waitresses (2) were quite friendly from start to finish. When we left we were greeted in a friendly manner, unfortunately not by the boss, who stood at the counter without saying a word. I understand Italian hospitality, which I know from other Italian restaurateurs in the Rheingau, to be something different after my visit to da Nico in Geisenheim. A pity! The food was tasty and the price/performance ratio was also reasonable, so 5 stars. Regarding the service: For the waitresses it's more like 4 stars, for the boss a minus 1 makes 2 stars overall. Ambience: The Rhine Pavilion is getting a bit old, and a few cobwebs on the lamps, the corners and the ceiling are a bit disturbing. The view of the Rhine makes up for this somewhat. So 3 stars here.

The food tasted reasonably good. But the cleanliness absolutely leaves something to be desired. Glasses are dirty, the table hasn't been wiped and the ants are meeting on the table. I reacted very quickly with diarrhea. So be careful!! Not again !!!

So schlechten Service hatten wir noch nie..Kannten das Restaurant,,leider hat es einen neuen Besitzer..Mein Lieblings Gericht war immer das Paprikaschnitzel,was ich auch bestellte..Die Bedienung brachte unser Essen sagte zu mir,bitte einmal Zwoebelschnitzel,,ich sagte das ich ein Paprikaschnitzel bestellt habe..Das lustige war er sagte dann ach ja,dann ist es das Paprikaschnitzel....Mein erstaunen war gross..Den Paprika musste man suchen,dafür waren viele Zwiebeln drauf...Meine Bekannte fragte nach dem Nachtisch und was ein Tartuffo sei..Er sagte,daß weiß ich nicht,ich mach es noch nicht so lange..Oh weh,,was ist aus unsrem Italiener geworden?????. Mit den Gästen vom Campingplatz können Sie das machen aber uns als Stammkunden haben Sie verloren..Es kommt die Zeit wo der Campingplatz geschlossen ist,,was wird dann???Wenn sie jetzt schon die Einheimischen vergraulen..

The waiter was very friendly and nice. Food was delicious and the portions were large. The spicy pasta with scampi was great. We'd love to come back.

We found this place by chance while cycling. And coming from Lorch it was a blessing that we left Rüdesheim behind. The staff served us well throughout. The ambience right on the Rhine is extraordinary. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely come back.

2 years ago the pizzas were subpar but yesterday we were very positively surprised! Very tasty...and prices were reasonable! The hot sauce for the pizza was great! Keep it up ….

Disgusting... the pizza is burnt on the edge, in the middle it's not due to too little tomato sauce and it's floating in oil. Never again!

Great location with a view of the Rhine. Prices and food are ok. Inventory is a bit old. Only a few parking spaces available.

It just tastes very good. I can recommend it to everyone. There isn't a better pizza restaurant. The waiters are also nice and so is the boss

Go there specifically for a pizza on the Rhine

You can do a lot more with the location. The path to the restaurant was unkempt (spiny branches sticking out in the way, garbage bags visible under the stairs). Inside, the decorations were arranged and set up haphazardly. There doesn't seem to be an overall concept. The food was mediocre. The menu is far too extensive to deliver quality and freshness.

I'm in the Rheingau two to three times a year. Visiting Nico is a must! Best pizza ever!! 😃😃😃

Food 08/15 and it was pretty cold. Waiter mixed up bills and wasn't at the table often even though there wasn't much going on.

Wir waren ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen wurden, es wurde auch gefragt welcher Platz einem lieber wäre. Der Service lief schnell und unkompliziert. Das Essen war super und sehr ausreichend. Vom Preis muss ich sagen bin ich überrascht, das war mehr als günstig für das super Essen . Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant ist auch sehr toll.

Er kwam een regenbui met veel wind. Er daalde potgrond uit bloembak over mijn pasta, en in onze glazen en veel op de tafel. Er werd alleen sorry gezegd, geen compensatie, jammer.

Eine schön gelegene Location direkt am Rheinufer zwischen Geisenheim und Rüdesheim. Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal und gute Speisen.

Hatte um Pizza Salami mit Knoblauch gebeten ...und wahrhaftig ist da richtiger Knoblauch drauf...perfekt👍🤩 andere tun nur etwas Knoblauch-Öl drauf....aber hier...mjamjam...lecker....auch das Tortelini al forno reichlich und super lecker....

Zeer goed. Ziet er goed verzorgd uit. Vriendelijke bediening. Helemaal niet duur voor wat je krijgt. Heerlijk gegeten. Een aanrader.

Ich habe mir eine Pizza Speciale bestellt. Von einem Restaurant, das mit 4,3 Sternen bewertet ist, erwarte ich zumindest frische Pilze und keine Pilze aus der Dose. Auch sahen die von uns bestellten Pizzen sehr ähnlich aus, was auf eingekaufte Teigböden schließen lässt. Leider nur (unter-)durchschnittliches Niveau.

Wir haben sowohl Pizzabrot, Pizza als auch Schnitzel bestellt. Die Lieferung war angemessen und warm. Leider mussten wir feststellen, das die Qualität sehr nachgelassen hat. Das Pizzabrot war nicht gewürzt, der Pizzateig sehr durchweicht und die Soße hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Das Schnitzel war ok wobei der Beilagensalat nicht mehr gut war und extrem viele braune gematschte Stellen hatte. Daher ist er direkt in die Tonne gewandert. Schade. Für eine solche Qualität ist es zu teuer. Wir werden dort nicht mehr bestellen. Schade.

Gutes und leckeres Essen, auch das Restaurant selbst liegt nett mit Rheinblick und Terrasse. Allerdings wird hier keine Kredit- oder Debitkarte sondern nur die veraltete EC-Karte akzeptiert. Darauf weisst ein winziges Schild zwei Meter neben der Tür, außerhalb des Sichtfelds hin. Somit musste ich nach einem halben Liter Wein zu Fuß zum nächsten Geldautomaten laufen. Ärgerlich und leider auch kein Entgegenkommen.

Waren mit Freunden zum Abendessen in dem Lokal .....Leider mussten wir feststellen das das Lokal einen neuen Besitzer hat..Man merkte es auch am essen...nicht nur das lauter verwelkte Blumen auf den Tischen standen,hatsich das Ambiente verschlechtert...Zum Nachtisch fragten wir nach einem Eisbechen,es gab keinen,,nur die Antwort,,,,wir sind keine Eidiele,,, Sehr unfreundlich..Wir kommen aus dem Rheingau und gingen vorher öfter indes Restaurant..So eie es aussieht werden wir uns einen anderen Italiener suchen..Wir bedauern sehr das der vorherige Besitzer nicht mehr da war,,sehr schade

Wir haben sind sehr freundlich bedient worden, haben sehr gut gegessen und durfte die 4 Akkus von unseren EBikes selbstverständlich aufladen. Schönes Ambiente!

Schönes Lokal und toller Service

Direkt am Campingplatz gelegen, leckeres Essen, angemessene Preise und kurze Wartezeiten. Wer bei 524 nächtigt, sollte unbedingt hier futtern.

Wir hatten Pizza, Canelloni und Lasagne. Leider waren alle 3 Gerichte eher mäßiger Durchschnitt, schmeckt nach Fertigprodukten, Zutaten aus Dose, also nichts frisch (Pilze, Paprika auf Pizza), Service sehr freundlich, Terrasse wirkt leider bisschen ungepflegt. Schade, eigentlich ganz tolle Lage.

Top, gehen gerne wieder und regelmäßig hin

3 Pizzen zur Abholung bestellt, pünktlich fertig , Preis o.k. und freundlich . Pizza sehr lecker , Rand knusprig. Tomatensauce etwas fad , ein paar mediterrane Kräuter rein und perfekt . Kommen wieder !

Wir wollten am Samstag eine Pizza essen gehen und parkten mit unserem Wohnmobil auf dem Parkplatz, da wir noch die Fahrräder abdecken wollten , dauerte es einen Moment zu lange für den Wirt, die Bedienung schrie über den Parkplatz, das der Parkplatz hier kein Stellplatz wäre ….. . Wir sind dann wieder gefahren, bei soviel Gastfreundschaft bei einem Italiener der seine Pizzeria auf dem Campingplatz hat , wir waren sprachlos und entsetzt über so eine Frechheit. Nie wieder !

We stopped by for lunch and refreshments. The menu included a wide selection of Italian dishes and we ordered pizza. The pizzas we got were very tasty and we left pleased. In addition to tasty pizzas the restaurant also offered a nice view of the river.

Der Umweg hierher lohnt sich. Hier wird in angenehmem Ambiente direkt am Rhein mit hervorragendem Service ein Essen geboten, das an Qualität weitaus Seinesgleichen sucht. Das Ganze zu sehr zivilen Preisen.

Das beste an diesem Restaurant ist die Aussicht auf den Rhein. Corona Maßnahmen werden überhaupt nicht beachtet, die Tische auf der Terrasse stehen viel zu eng. Desinfektionsmittel haben wir keins gefunden und auch nach ich das Personal angesprochen hatte gab es nur ausweichende Antworten. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt. Die Speisen sind durchschnittlich und das Personal leicht schusselig.

...und der anliegende Campingplatz ebenfalls nicht wüsste ich nicht warum ich da hin soll. Nacht 20 Minuten erhielten wir mal eine Speisekarte. Nach weiter 20 Minuten konnten wir bestellen. Kurzum nach knapp 2 Stunden sind wir rausgegangen und haben nur zwei Pizza's und zwei Bier konsumiert....

Die Pizza s sind ok . Die Schnitzel s eine Frechheit, trocken und ungenießbar. Der Service ok . Der Inhaber hat kein Gefühl für die Gäste und auch kein Sinn für kundenbindung. Preise werden einfach geändert ohne Kunden bzw. Stammkunden Bescheid zu geben. Kunden werden am Telefon angeschriehen . Außerdem wird man darauf aufmerksam gemacht wenn man eine Rechnungs Beleg will sollte man es bei der Bestellung sagen. Und damit ist noch nichtmal ein bewirtungsbeleg für Geschäftskunden gemeint. Man bekommt handgeschriebene Zettel an der Tür ..... komisch sehr seltsam oder ?! Wenn man sich nicht beschwert oder mit konstruktiver Kritik kommt , kann man gerne hingehen und sich selbst überzeugen, ansonsten wird es schwierig. Ich kann und will dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen😳😔

A good Italian restaurant on the river Rhein. We had our dinner there a number of times when we visited the area. Food is good but lack wow-factor. Portions are of substantial size, and you always leave with the feeling of great value for your money. Wiew over the river is impecable, and the staff are friendly and helpfull. I find it strange that they only serve Italian wine. As they are located in the heart of the best German wine district, but there was nothing wrong with the Italian. Worth the hike from Rûdesheim if thats where you are staying. Will go back next time.

Wie schon i Titel erwähnt war das Essen da sehr gut. Der Service war super freundlich und schnell. Der Restaurant hat einen direkten Blick auf dem Rhein. Kleiner Plus für Familien: es gibt für Kinder einen kleinen Menü mit Essen, Getränk und Nachtisch inklusive.

Wir waren jetzt schon öfter hier und ich kann Guten Gewissens sagen das es hier eine der besten Pizzen im Rheingau gibt - vom Teig her. Leider sind die Pilze nicht frisch. Aber ansonsten gibt es hier wirklich sehr leckere Pizza. Die Fleischgerichte könnten besser sein - leider nur durschnittlich. Lage top direkt am Rhein. Besuch lohnt sich - aber dann Pizza essen :)

Die Lage des Restaurants, nur 10 m vom Rhein entfernt, ist kaum zu überbieten. Durch die großen Fenster kann man auf die Schiffe schauen. Merkwürdigerweise liegt der Raucherbereich in erster Linie zum Fluß. Bei unserem Besuch wurde zu allen Vorspeisen von der Suppe bis Salat Toastbrot gereicht. Das habe ich bei einem Italiener noch nicht erlebt. Zumal, wenn ein Pizzaofen vorhanden ist und man Brot selbst backen könnte. Die Pizzen waren zu lange im Ofen und dadurch hart. Mit frischen Zutaten wird auch gespart. Die Pilze kommen aus der Dose. ... Nicht noch einmal.

Porzioni enormi, mangiare fantastico, posto stupendo ed il proprietario è simpaticissimo. Non penso di andare a mangiare da nessun'altra parte. Consigliato a tutti.

Although camping at Rudesheim we walked up the riverbank path for 20 minutes to discover Nico's just outside the Geisenheim Campingplatz. Indoor and outdoor dining is available and we chose the partly covered terrace. We ate 3 steaks, 2 with mushrooms and 1 with the house sauce plus a pork steak cordon bleu (stuffed with ham slice & cheese). All beautifully cooked, generous portions and served with dressed side salad and chips. Pleasant multilingual staff coped easily with our German English! Terrace is on the bank of the Rhine and we ate watching the barges plough passed whilst a full moon gradually rose and was reflected over the water. A lovely start to our holiday here. Pity it has been raining ever since!! We left €120 to cover the 4 of us. This included beer, soft drinks, a bottle of wine, 4 mains and 4 desserts plus a tip. £25 per head seemed reasonable for a very pleasant meal. Abit off the beaten track but far enough away from the Rudesheim tourist trap! Worth a visit!

Die Pizzeria von Nico im Rheinpavillion direkt am Campingplatz in Geisenheim bietet neben tollen Pizzen!!!! einen Vielzahl von Nudelgerichten und natuerlich auch Fleischspeisen. Das Steak "da Nico" ist fuer mich in der Regel ein Muss. Nicht zu vergessen der selbstgemachte Pulpo-Salat:-))))) Ich kann nur sagen ...gracie mille Nico!!!! Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!Ambiente 5 Sterne fuer den tollen Blick auf den Rhein...
