We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary on September 2nd, 24 with a good meal! Unfortunately they had company holidays, which was not visible on their homepage. You should update your website in this regard. The guests would certainly be very pleased.

The waitress is outrageously unfriendly. :D An hour before the end I wanted to have a drink with my wife, so I went to the store. The terrace looked cozy and the waitress suddenly said STOP... We're out of food and they're about to close, she explained. Me and my wife looked at each other and left the store. They could have at least asked if we would still like to have a drink since the restaurant was still busy. Well, it's a shame...

Always worth the visit in all respects - from a gastronomic point of view - and of course the overall ambience.

We have come here several times and are always thrilled! From the food, the interior, the selection of dishes and the friendly and attentive service staff.

Great food, very nice service and of course the view of the Rhine is fantastic. The steak I had was the best I've eaten in a long time: excellent meat, cooked to perfection, with an excellent sauce that was homemade. It's worth a visit just for the food alone.

We had a great lunch on the restaurant terrace. The staff were in a good mood and took orders attentively and friendly despite the heat and always had a kind word to say. The food was excellent and more than sufficient. We were helped to carry the walker we had brought with us up the short flight of stairs. The restaurant would have been accessible at ground level, but the great weather attracted people to the terrace and the view of the Rhine. Just great. There are enough parking spaces available. A reservation is strongly recommended. We'd love to come back

We found a very nice and modern restaurant and evening. I've definitely been a guest here for over 50 years, but unfortunately I haven't taken the time recently. But I think that will change again :-) - I missed the Trout Müllerin - but it's probably no longer in great demand these days ;-)

The Restaurant Zur Arche is in a fantastic location directly on the Rhine. We sat outside on the terrace and had a great view of the Rhine. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was delicious and we liked the homemade lemonade. Nice atmosphere. Parking spaces are plentiful.

Idyllically located on the Rhine, a little away from the hustle and bustle. The food is fresh and deliciously prepared. All in all, it's worth a visit, especially if the weather is good and you can sit outside.

A very nice destination right on the Rhine! The restaurant with the large terrace is always busy. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the prices have risen extremely. A tarte flambée for €16.90 is too expensive for me. We just had a drink. The service staff is quick and friendly.

Unfortunately only with reservation. No outside service, the outside area is closed. Several tables for 4 were only occupied by 2 people, you could have easily added 2 people there.

Went there for the first time yesterday and had a great afternoon. A really perfect location with a great view, top service and delicious cake/ice cream. We didn't try dinner, but will do so at short notice - definitely an appealing menu. Very well-kept and chic restaurant with a fantastic beer garden. The service was also above average - very professional and at the same time very personable! The prices are also absolutely reasonable, so we have now found a new regular restaurant. We were in the ark for the first time. It is very cozy and the service is very good. The food came quite quickly and everyone enjoyed it very much. However, my pork tenderloin was a bit tough. But otherwise everything tasted delicious. It is modernly furnished and the view of the Rhine is great. We'd love to come back!

The Restaurant Zur Arche in Götterswickerhamm / Voerde is beautifully located, directly on the banks of the Rhine, and is therefore highly recommended as a destination by bike. A large outdoor terrace with plenty of shade invites you to linger, and the spacious dining room impresses with its well-kept and clean ambience. A large parking lot on site ensures a comfortable journey. The service and operation are extremely courteous and friendly. As a guest you feel warmly welcomed and served here. The dishes are down-to-earth and excellently prepared. There are also delicious cakes and coffee as well as homemade spritzers, which are excellent. The delicious fish dishes are particularly worth mentioning. A perfect place for a relaxed meal in beautiful surroundings!

The products and service are very good, however, our request for a small relocation was not accepted. They could have been nicer.

Very nice and attentive employees. Great ambience. We expected more from the food, also due to the high prices. Everyone at the table, except one who had ordered fish, was dissatisfied. Unusually seasoned, fries sticky to cold, veal that was beef, salad not tasty. It's a shame, maybe just a blip, but whether we'll come back again, probably not.

5 stars in every area, even easily accessible for wheelchair users in the inner area. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is not accessible to wheelchair users. But otherwise great, would be happy again at any time!!!! Kind regards to the team and especially to the kitchen!!!! 😁😉

How should I describe the first visit to the ark? Great says it best! For my birthday I wanted to invite the family to a special restaurant and that's when I thought of the Ark, as we've always wanted to eat there in the past. The welcome was very warm and we were served very attentively and friendly. The drinks and food were really very good. Overall, we have already fallen in love with this restaurant and the service because we felt incredibly comfortable. Everything just fits here. A big congratulations to the entire team and see you next time!

Great ambience and great service. Unfortunately, the kitchen is a little inflexible and you are not allowed to swap side dishes (e.g. fried potatoes instead of boiled potatoes). Otherwise the food was very good.

We (3 people) wanted to stop for coffee and cake on the terrace on May 20th, 2024. Unfortunately the terrace was closed shortly beforehand. Once inside we were given a table in the back. We hadn't ordered yet!!! and wanted to move to a vacant table by the window. This was forbidden to us!!! The table was free for a while and no new guests were in sight! The landlady stuck to her ban and justified this with her house rules. We stayed. My wife ordered a tarte flambée with bacon, which was unfortunately baked far too crispy (black edge and base) and was significantly overpriced at €15.90. Unfortunately my wife started eating it and made the complaint too late. Although the location is uniquely beautiful and we always ate well in the past, we will no longer go here. Because table reservations with a window seat request are not guaranteed - and then the crazy house rules!

The ambience with a view of the Rhine was great. The service was first class, the food was delicious and everything came for 24 people at the same time. You didn't have to wait long for the drinks either. All of our guests were very satisfied. Keep it up.

We (four people) sat on the terrace directly on the Rhine in the beautiful spring weather. Although reserved for inside, it was no problem to change the reservation to the terrace. The food was very good. The dishes on offer - consisting of fish/meat dishes - offer something for every taste. I can't say anything about vegetarian and vegan. According to the season, there was a separate menu with asparagus dishes. The service was very good. The staff very attentive. As can be seen from the star rating, the Restaurant zur Arche is a clear recommendation. The restaurant can also be easily reached by bike. From both directions (Wesel or Duisburg) a bike tour over the Rhine dike is a very nice excursion.

MOTORCYCLE drivers are not welcome here. Although there were still many tables without reservations, we were turned away because everything was fully booked.

Always nice, but we were a bit disappointed with the asparagus because we asked it to be cooked until soft, but it was very hard and poorly peeled. Otherwise we were very satisfied

I would prefer to give zero stars. Were there with the family today on Mother's Day. There was a dead insect in my food. No wonder with all the flies, beetles etc. flying around in the restaurant. Of course, the entire table could no longer enjoy the meal. The full price was still charged. That was the first and last time we visited this restaurant. Absolutely not recommended.

Food overpriced, ordered a cream schnitzel and discovered that there was a paprika sauce on top of the schnitzel. impertinence. If I told the waiter, all he could do was apologize. He should pass this on to the chef. Chicken doesn't taste good and is completely overpriced. I'll never eat anything there again. It's a real shame, I think they make you pay for the view you have there.

Today we spontaneously went to the restaurant for the first time. When we asked for a table, we were told that the outside area was full - but there were still enough tables available in the restaurant itself. When we came in and asked for a table, we were told it was fully booked (except for a few tables, all were free). When we then said that we had been sent in from outside, we were able to sit down after a bit of back and forth. Unfortunately, this made us feel very uncomfortable at times. In addition, the restaurant inside was very empty. The restaurant itself is very nice and cozy. The view was also very nice. The waitresses were all very friendly and always made sure that everything was in order. The food itself was good and was delivered quickly. In terms of price it was absolutely reasonable.
