Döhmer-Lorberg in Voerde (Niederrhein)

Wir hatten uns Fritten Mampf geholt als wir aus dem Urlaub zurück waren. Ich hatte mir einen Gyrosteller bestellt und meine Frau einen Burger mit Pommes. Der Burger Pattie wurde in der Mikrowelle erwärmt. Leider nicht auf dem Grill oder im Toaster. Pommes waren gut. Meinem Gyros fehlte es an Geschmack und richtig heiss war es auch nicht. Zumal es scheinbar schon ein paar Stunden am Grill hing und dadurch trocken gewesen war. Das Tzatziki war fade und stumpf. Das aus dem großen Marken Discounter ist um längen Besser. Also ich denke, dass wir nicht mehr so bald dort auftauchen werden.

We were there with a large group. Excellent service, very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious.

Typical 'pub' with charm from the 70s/80s. You immediately feel the coziness, the conviviality. Plus the service couldn't be better. And the tenant personally took care of the food and the guests. And the food? Like at home! Simply perfect! And cheap for today's times and really good portions. An institution! Unfortunately they are closing. I'll miss you! S.

Was the best that Friedrichsfeld had

We ate there for the first time today, and it was truly delicious. The welcome and service are very friendly. You can tell they put their heart and soul into it :)
