Restaurant " Zur Alten 16 " Roland Pump in Wentorf bei Hamburg

I've been there twice now. Highly recommended. It's not exactly cheap, but the food is excellent. They serve both traditional, home-style food and unusual variations. Seasonal delicacies are also included. For the kids, there's a set menu with a drink, a main course, and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The kids' main course is quite generous, so parents definitely have to help with this. The soup and salad portions are also generous, so the initially high price is definitely worth it. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant; I'd be happy to come back.

We were very satisfied; the food tasted delicious. The service was super friendly. We've been there again. The food was good. Unfortunately, I have to criticize the dessert. A scoop of vanilla ice cream and sugared strawberries costs €8.90. But hot raspberries, where you get two or three vanilla ice creams for the same price. Sorry, I just think it's overpriced. And strawberries don't cost the earth these days, and you don't need to add sugar. They should use better ketchup and mayonnaise and arrange them more attractively in small bowls. Prices have gone up a lot, but that's the case everywhere.

Parking situation catastrophic. We had schnitzel, once with fries and once with fried potatoes, for which an additional €3 was added because of a change in side dishes. Outrageous. The prices in general were too high. Incomprehensible in today's economic situation. But the schnitzels were very tasty and the service was great.

Extra cost for ketchup says it all. The schnitzel was delicious, but unfortunately everything else wasn't tasty. The peas and roots were canned and the fried potatoes tasted as if they had been fried several times in too much fat. The staff tried hard, but unfortunately we weren't paid much attention. They didn't want to listen to criticism on site, even though we were asked directly. We won't come again. Price performance ratio doesn't fit.

Ein prima Lokal und eine freundliche und flotte Bedienung. Wir haben heute mit vier Personen Garnelen gegessen und die haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Toll fand ich auch, dass man auf unsere Sonderwünsche eingegangen ist. Alles war frisch zubereitet, auch der Salat war frisch und knackig, sehr gut !!! Wir hatten somit ein schönes Essen in gemütlicher Umgebung, herzlichen Dank dafür.

There is a lack of passion here and, above all, that of the guest! We had dinner here today after making a telephone inquiry and there were already guests sitting outside, so we chose a table there straight away and waited diligently for a waiter. No less than 20 minutes later, a waitress (she had already seen us 4 times before, but skillfully ignored us) came to the table with the words “Hello, but you have to contact us before you sit down and our kitchen is closing soon, you have to So order quickly.” in a stroppy and arrogant tone; In addition, every table gave the excuse that they didn't have a day off, hence the bad mood. We almost reluctantly ordered something else. Food was fresh and tasty, so the chef did a good job. When we had finished eating and actually wanted to pay quickly, no one came and didn't come, even though they had rubbed us in the face beforehand that we should order quickly and then leave. We then went to the waitress ourselves and found her smoking in front of the restaurant with the rest of the team. We were happy to be gone and never have to come back! To the boss; You should give your service staff a training course (how to deal with guests) and create a rest day!

Honestly the service is terrible. You call and are told that there is still a table available at around 7 p.m., we go there and are ignored for a good half hour despite the eye contact. And then we are told in a very rude manner that the kitchen is about to close (even though the website says they are open until 9 p.m. on Sundays) and that we only get something if we decide quickly. When paying you have to chase the employees because no one cares about the guests anymore and the prices are simply outrageous. I will never eat there again and I can only advise everyone against this restaurant!

Real German restaurant with above average quality. Got lovely schnitzels with crispy bradkartoffel. The Jagersaus was very nice so was desert. I can recommend this place.

Friendly service, food varied (the farmer's breakfast was tasty and a decent portion, but the schnitzel, on the other hand, unfortunately tasted like old fat and was therefore not particularly well received. Part of the food order was forgotten by the kitchen and another request was unfortunately ignored by the service. All in all, I would go here again to eat, just without the schnitzel.

Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars. Our starters were brought with the main course, unfortunately the schnitzel is Tk goods and the quality unfortunately does not match the price! The steak pan with turkey was a greasy delight of turkey breast cut into pieces, which unfortunately died twice in the pan before it came to the plate. Here too we felt the price of 20 euros was not appropriate! Only the potato salad and the garlic bread were absolutely top. Super delicious food, we were lucky several times to spontaneously get a table for two. But make a reservation, it's always busy, at any time of the day. We had asparagus with salmon, rump steak and, very tasty, zander fillet. The dessert of Swedish cup or rhubarb grits with ice cream and brownie is also a real treat. The owner is also very friendly and is always available for a chat. We would love to come back.

Here you can find good German cuisine at unbeatable prices. I regularly eat here with my employees and also invite family friends to this restaurant. However, you should make a reservation for larger groups. In particular, I can always recommend roast beef with fried potatoes. Seasonal items are also regularly on the daily menu.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtstag abends mit 16 Personen zum Essen. Es wurde ein weihnachtliches Buffet angeboten. Bis auf die Vorsuppe, die leider versalzen war es ein tolles Buffet. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Auch die Veganer haben genug „Beilagen „ gefunden. Es waren netter Abend.

Ca 100 mal daran vorbeigefahren,und nun dazu spontan entschieden es zu probieren. Ein sehr netter Chef, wo man schon auf der Straße zu hören bekommt von Kunden wie lecker es letztes mal war. Es war definitiv extrem lecker, sehr freundlich und ein schönes Ambiente! Ein absolut toller Ort wenn man SEHR gut essen möchte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und ganz sicher das letzte Mal. Ich hatte Geburtstag und bei der telefonischen Reservierung habe ich erwähnt das ich Geburtstag habe. Mir wurde gesagt, dann decken wir den Tisch ein. Ich habe mir nichts dabei gedacht. Als wir das Lokal betreten haben, wurde uns nach dem Hallo gleich mitgeteilt, dass die Tischdecke 2.50€ kostet. Bitte was? Na egal. Das Essen war okay und mit 35.90€ für ein Rumpsteak ein stolzer Preis. Ich hatte mehr erwartet. Eigentlich schade. Es fehlte meiner Meinung nach die Leidenschaft und das Auge für Schönes.

Super Essen, auch für Vegetarier. Veganer bitte nachfragen. Ambiente schön. Die Geräuschkulisse ist bei vollen Tischen recht hoch. Parkplätze etwas schwer zu finden, da im Wohngebiet. Aber: wer um das Gebäude fährt erreicht den hauseigenen Parkplatz.

Wir waren zur Familienfeier dort. Essen topp, Getränke topp, topp Service, sehr flexibel, alle Wünsche und Besonderheiten wurden berücksichtigt. Unkompliziert, immer freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
