Good antipasti and an extensive drinks menu. Pizzas are good, but unfortunately not very good... Prices are on the high side, but still necessary.

I've been there a few times now. We made a reservation by phone, but they still weren't prepared for us. So we ended up sitting in the middle of the way. The food was served carelessly. They didn't ask if we wanted more drinks. They didn't even ask if we wanted dessert. They cleared the table quickly so the next guests could finish their breakfast. I won't go there again. It's a shame, really.

A chic Italian restaurant in the heart of Wentorf, with excellent food and impeccable service! The outdoor area is attractive, but the noise level inside is sometimes too loud for us.

This is our second visit to this restaurant, as it actually has a good reputation. Unfortunately, we were disappointed on both visits. The staff seemed very unfriendly, and we felt rushed throughout. For starters, we had bruschetta, which consisted of very dry bread. The topping tasted almost exclusively of basil. The tomato and basil pizza as a main course was also very similar in flavor to the starter, only the dough was different. We also ordered the recommended house specialty – truffle pasta in a Parmesan nest. Unfortunately, the pasta was extremely soft, almost like glass noodles from a can. The taste and smell of the burnt Parmesan overpowered the entire dish. The cutlery also left a negative impression, as it was not clean. You had to get a table lamp yourself. We ended up having to wait about 40 minutes to pay. **Conclusion:** Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this restaurant.

Another restaurant that claims to offer Italian cuisine, but isn't even close. You can eat, but don't expect much. The service isn't bad, with friendly waitresses and a nice location. In my opinion, the food could be improved.

We've been here several times because the food is actually delicious and the ambiance is nice. It's always quite loud, but this time it was so bad that you almost had to shout at each other. What annoyed us most, however, was the service. First, we had to wait forever for the menus, then we were rushed to order quickly. When a main course was brought out incorrectly, the waiter felt the need to argue with my husband about the allegedly incorrect order. Although everyone confirmed that he had ordered exactly what he wanted, the waiter was annoyed and uncooperative. Finally, the eggplant on an antipasti plate had to be returned because it was slightly fermented. The eggplant was then taken away with the comment, "I'll give it a try." That's not how you deal with mistakes (which would otherwise have been completely harmless). No apology and no greeting on the way out. I had somehow imagined my birthday dinner with the family to be different.

Absolutely unacceptable experience – never again. We had chosen Luce in Wentorf for a family reunion after a funeral – a difficult day on which we were hoping for some peace, comfort, and a little hospitality. We had made a reservation for eight people. The location is actually quite nice, and I had eaten there once before a year ago – the food was okay. But what we experienced today was an absolute disaster. When we arrived, there was only one waiter – visibly unfriendly, completely overwhelmed, and shockingly rude. We were still debating whether to sit outside (a short summer rain had just started) and hadn't decided yet. Instead of showing any hint of patience or professionalism, the waiter snapped at us not to block the entrance and said, "If you can't decide, please move aside." We finally decided to sit outside under one of the umbrellas and arranged the tables and stools ourselves – the waiter was nowhere to be seen. When one of us went in to ask him for some courtesy, she was greeted with defiance and arrogance. No apology, no understanding—just, "I'm alone and very busy, it'll be a while."—with an attitude that made it clear he had no interest in welcoming us as guests. We asked him directly to be honest about whether he even wanted to serve us—but instead of understanding or an apology, he responded with even more arrogance and an impertinent tone, and we decided to leave. On an already emotionally draining day, we were treated with complete disrespect. The way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Anyone expecting even the bare minimum of hospitality should definitely find another restaurant!

Good food - lots of free bread, so in the end there was almost too much food!

The food is good. Some dishes are very good, and some are satisfactory. The atmosphere is good. The staff is rough Italian, some like it, I don't. I'm very friendly, and I expect the same in return.

We waited over 30 minutes for dessert and paid shortly after. Immediately afterward, we were asked to leave to make room for our table. We wanted to leave much earlier, but we had to wait. The food was good, but it didn't feel good to be "kicked out."

We had reserved. But the service staff asked us to wait outside until the person who made the reservation arrived because we didn't know exactly whether there were 10 or just 9 people. Impossible. Very loud background noise. Conversation difficult, barely understood the waiter. Greetings from the kitchen were delicious. My special request for a pizza spinaci was fulfilled. However, the edge was partially burnt and the middle was soggy. A friend returned his glass of wine twice because there was a spider in the glass and the other time because there was a small fly in the glass

A fantastic Italian restaurant – highly recommended! This Italian restaurant is truly a great place for fine dining. The stylish ambiance and modern, light-filled decor make the place a real eye-catcher – simply beautiful! The service was extremely friendly and easily accommodated special requests. I particularly want to highlight the Arrabbiata with additional strips of beef fillet – simply outstanding! The starter with mozzarella and tomatoes was also a delight. Tomato salad, olives, and fresh bread were served beforehand – a perfect start! The value for money is absolutely top-notch, and I can recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone. Everything is just perfect here – ambiance, service, and quality. I would gladly go back anytime!

I can rate the food as what we ordered was very good Except for the pizza, which was very soft and almost mushy in the middle. A real shame for an Italian After a nice little complaint "very unpleasant waiter" The comment that didn't go into it at all: I ate it yesterday too and it was good! I've been to Luce several times. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the food and the service. Today, December 20th, the restaurant was completely booked - Christmas. I'd be happy to come back!

From the outside, it doesn't look nearly as high-quality as the service and the language on the plates. I've rarely eaten such a delicious saddle of lamb. And the dessert plate! A dream! I'll definitely be back!

Had dinner at Luce's in Wentorf yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Ambience very classy. The service leaves nothing to be desired. You feel like you're in your second living room here. The food was excellent as always. (Scampis on black pasta, scampi aioli with rosemary potatoes and salad) Plus a delicious wine, what more could you want. For us the best Italian in the region. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

The chef is totally in love, I haven't eaten so much salt in a long time! The waiters are mentally absent.

I have the feeling that the restaurant got a new chef or there was a change of ownership. Because unfortunately the food is no longer the same! My wife had spaghetti carbonara, which felt like it had no egg and was not seasoned at all. It tasted purely like cream, which shouldn't be the case. I had gnocchi in tomato and mozzarella, but unfortunately they also tasted very watery. The fruity taste of the tomato was missing. The last time, as my wife When she was there with her friends, it wasn't any better and the service wasn't the best either. Today the service was tried hard and everything actually worked, but unfortunately the food didn't. for the starter: my wife had the carpaccio, the caper sauce was quite bland, and some of the carpaccio had a fatty crust. I had salsiccia with lentils myself. The salsiccia was okay but without fennel. The lenses were okay too. But they had a slight curry taste, which doesn't quite match this wonderful sausage. I would have liked the lentils to be pureed and properly seasoned, and the salsiccia with fennel. Next time we will try another Italian restaurant.

I was really disappointed with my visit to this pizzeria. The waiting time was simply unreasonable - we had to wait over an hour for our food even though the restaurant wasn't even full. When the food finally came, the disappointment was even greater. The pizza was mediocre at best, the dough was tough and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. For the price I would have expected much more. The service was also inattentive and made little effort to explain or shorten the long waiting time. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this pizzeria and will definitely not be coming back.

Luce in Wentorf is our favorite Italian restaurant in the region. The ambience is straightforward, modern and tidy. The food is great and the service is usually super friendly. When it's full - which is very likely - it can get a bit wobbly. But the food is always really great. A bonus when the weather is good is the large outdoor terrace with a huge old tree in the middle for shade. Bella Italia in the middle of Wentorf. Almost like being on vacation.

Hier hätten wir -wie wir es immer in größeren zeitlichen Abständen gemacht hatten- mit unseren Freunden einen netten Abend bei schmackhaftem Essen unter der schönen Eiche im Innenhof verbringen können, wenn der Kellner (mit dunkelgerahmter Brille und Zopf bzw. Dutt) nicht eine solche Unfreundlichkeit und Arroganz ausgestrahlt hätte. Wir haben uns überhaupt nicht willkommen gefühlt. Ein Sonderwunsch wurde mit einer fast sarkastischen Bemerkung aufgenommen. Das Essen war lecker, wie immer, ist aber auch hochpreisiger als in ähnlichen Restaurants. Das Steinpilzrisotto war recht wenig, im Mousse au chocolate fanden wir einen Schnipsel Alu. Für einen edlen Italiener, für den sich das Restaurant wohl hält, war der Service dürftig. Ein Lächeln würde schon helfen. Ein "Danke" beim Verlassen des Restaurants wäre auch etwas wert. Aber wertgeschätzt fühlten wir uns hier nicht. Dass es dem Kellner nicht an uns gelegen war, zeigte auch der Fauxpas beim Bezahlen. Es waren nur noch 3 Tische insgesamt belegt. Mir wurde aber zunächst einmal die Rechnung für einen Tisch mit ca. 12 Personen ausgedruckt... Wir waren nur 4. Einem aufmerksamen Kellner sollte das nicht passieren. Es gehört sich auch nicht, schon 60 Minuten vor Ladenschluss an den Nachbartischen die Sitzkissen abzuräumen. Fazit: Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen. Das ist doch zu peinlich, dort vor und mit Gästen so behandelt zu werden.

We were there on June 15th. It was perfect. Wonderful food. The taste was excellent. The quality of the products were very good. The plates were very nicely prepared. The service was great. Very polite, friendly, professional. When we're in the area again. We will definitely eat there again.

It doesn't work at all! I've heard again and again how nice it is there, how good the food... Super UNfriendly service the other day, the food from bad (the tomatoes were watery, the mozzarella subpar) to fair. Service and kitchen can have a bad day, but from the food side I don't think it was a bad day, that was the standard. Fits in with the rather, well, staid decor (which you could ignore if the food and staff were great). Anyway - there are just too many dishes on the menu for really good food.

Even though there is unfortunately only takeaway food available at the moment, it was still very tasty. As soon as the restaurant opens again, I'll eat there. It will definitely taste just as good 😉

We live in Wentorf. We like to go to the Luce restaurant on special occasions - the atmosphere is cozy, the service is really quick, courteous and friendly and the food is of excellent quality and extremely tasty! It should be emphasized that in addition to the classic Italian dishes, there are also special dishes and specialties for gourmets, such as lamb fillet, veal medallions, truffles, etc. Matching wines are also offered, which are also of very good quality. Each main course is preceded by a starter: fresh, very tasty white bread, green olives, fresh tomatoes, aioli. The desserts are also delicious, particularly recommended: fresh strawberries on mascarpone or tiramisu. We always enjoy coming here. I think this restaurant is highly recommended.

The quality of the food was good, but the portion sizes were consistently disappointing (salad, main course, dessert) The sea bream fillets were the size of slightly larger fish fingers, the salad could have fit on a saucer. As I could see today, the “Piccola Luce” in the Casino Park will also be opening in September. I'm excited and looking forward to the opening Once again it was worth going to this restaurant. Great Italian Kitchen. Attentive, non-intrusive staff, the boss also comes to the table personally and asks whether everything is to your satisfaction. That's how it has to be!

We have already been guests at LUCE on fifty occasions (lunch or evening) and have been thrilled every time. It can hardly be expressed more clearly that a visit to LUCE is a pleasure from A to Z.

Last night on February 24th we were served by a very hectic waiter with a pigtail. He pretended to be Italian but we felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. That doesn't work at all. The food was OK, but we felt very unwelcome.

Wir waren mit Freunden auf Empfehlung zum Abendessen dort. An einem Freitag war das Restaurant voll und eine Reservierung notwendig. Sehr freundliches Personal empfing uns. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und wurde durch eine ausgefallene Tageskarte ergänzt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Preis und Leistung stimmen. Es war ein gelungener Abend und wir kommen gern wieder.

This restaurant gets 5 stars from me! The food is a pleasure... first you get two delicious types of bread, large green olives and a delicious aioli cream, olio... then comes the main course. It simply tastes fabulously tasty, the best spaghetti olio ever! Das Ambiente ist nett, das Essen ok aber zu teuer der Service eine Katastrophe! Überheblich und extrem Ungeschickt im Umgang mit neuen Gästen. Bessere Tische werden nach Bitten lieber frei gelassen, wenn man Wasser statt teuren Wein trinken möchte wird man anschließend vom Personal auf Anweisung des Chefs komplett ignoriert. So übel sind wir noch nie behandelt worden. Der junge Kellner tat uns direkt leid, er wäre so gerne freundlich gewesen. Das ist ein geldgieriger Saftladen, wir kommen sicher nicht wieder und unsere Freunde auch alle nicht!

Reservation of a table by telephone was terribly unfriendly. In the end it wasn't entirely clear to me whether I made the reservation or whether he didn't make the reservation. The whole thing came about after I asked if we could eat mussels. I talked to friends about my experiences with Luce and they already know it. End of story, the reservation was on and the food was great. The whole place is full in the middle of the week. You can probably afford a waiter who is so out of line.

The food is okay so far, but unfortunately the service is not good at all... I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwanted as I did there. The word “service” doesn’t exist here, the waiters were unfriendly and skillfully ignored us. That was definitely the last time here.

We had a pizza with very tasty thin but fluffy dough and spaghetti aglio e olio (with tomatoes, unusual but tasty). Tiramisu as dessert, very tasty. Friendly service and an attractive ambience.

The tables are a bit cramped and you quickly come into conflict with your neighbors. The menu desperately needs an update, mine was very tattered. Benehmen unter aller Socke...wir haben noch nicht einmal gesessen da hat er uns die Speisekarte auf den Tisch gelegt?? So etwas macht man nicht...man wartet bis alle sitzen und dann reicht man die Speisekarte.... Respektlos!!! Zumal man eindeutig erkennen kann, dass mein Vater nicht mehr der jüngste ist...er ist 89 Jahre alt. Die Dorade war auch nicht wirklich von Gräten befreit. Hätte man Empathie wäre es anders verlaufen.. Leider ist die Gäng nur auf Geld aus 🤢🤮🤑

Endlich einmal Tische für Zwei, wo genug Platz für die Teller, Vorspeisen, dem "Gruß" aus der Küche und der Tischdekoration vorhanden ist und der Tisch nicht überladen aussieht. Die Plätze sind gut verteilt und es gibt nahe der Garderobe einige Tische, die gut vor der Geräuschkulisse geschützt sind. Der Gruß aus der Küche, die Vorspeisen, die beiden Hauptgerichte sowie Dessert und Kaffee/Espresso waren absolut top. Hinweis: Bitte die WC's in geringeren Abständen kontrollieren (Seifenspender) WC-Papier. Insgesamt 5 Sterne redlich verdient.

Während der Innenhof vom Flair lebt, unter einer großen, alten Eiche sitzen zu können, sorgten der Service eher für Enttäuschung. Sahen wir nicht wie gut zahlende Gäste aus, die galbverhungert die Karte von oben nach unten durchfuttern wollten? Oder nur die günstigen Getränke auf der Karte suchten? Gerne hätten wir zum Abschluss unseres Wochenendes einen der letzten Im-Freien-Sitzen-tauglichen Abend unter drr Eiche genossen. Dich der Kellner mschtw sich rar. Die Soeisen im Luce sind italienische Standardküche - herausragend oder gar speziell war das, was wir hatten nicht. Dabei wird das Restaurant im Bekanntenkreis immer wieder hoch gelobt - vermutlich aber zu anderen Tageszeiten, an anderen Wochentagen und vornallem nicht so kurz vor Ende der Öffnu gszeiten ... Sonntagabend gegen 20 Uhr scheint jedenfalls keine gute Wahl gewesen zu sein, auch wenn an sich etwas von 22 Uhrbals Endzeit angeschlagen steht.

Das Restaurant macht einen sehr schönen Eindruck. Gemütlich, bequem, gehoben. Das Essen war äußerst lecker. Der Bedienung kann man als solches nichts vorwerfen, sie haben aber einen etwas grimmigen Eindruck gemacht, was einem ein unwohles Gefühl bereitet hat. Scheer zu beschreiten. Wir waren abends da, vielleicht war auch der Tag einfach schon zu lang. Eine weitere Chance würde wir dem Restaurant definitiv geben, alleine wegen des Essens
