Just trust and call. Wet, a little depressed and hungry. Our 6th day on the Hochrhöner. Aunt Google gave us the tip to call here and it worked. The Hoppy landlady had coffee and a delicious piece of cake for us.

Gemütliche Kneipe mit Rhöner Charme geführt von einem freundlichen Ehepaar . Übernachtungen mit Frühstück und herrlichem Blick über die Thüringer Rhön sind möglich. Hier kann man noch das Rhöner Platt hören wenn die Wanderfreunde der Region einkehren. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Small but nice restaurant in a beautiful setting. Everything is clean, the owner is super nice! Open from 5 p.m., currently offering fewer daily specials, but they cater to individual needs. ☺️ We had a special schnitzel made for us with delicious fries and salad. The prices are really more than reasonable!

Obertor 16A decent restaurant where service isn't exactly a priority. The food is okay, but nothing more. The service staff is conspicuous by their absence, which is rather incomprehensible given the proximity of the Burg Clinic. It's a shame that no one realizes what a goldmine this could be. With 250 patients of the clinic in the immediate vicinity, there's nothing more to say.
