Delicious food, great restaurant

I go there once a year and enjoy coming. We recommend.

I also belong to the cycling group and at this point I have to give the host and kitchen the best rating. Any time. Thank you and I hope we can come back.

To the review by J.R. : I am one of the Radl group. I love J.R.'s review. completely inappropriate and presumptuous! If J.R. has to express his personal opinion... if you please. But using “Radl-gruppe”, “we” and “us” is not possible! Personally, I felt very comfortable and the food was really tasty. And I personally heard from many of the group that they told the host that the food was very good. I expressly distance myself from J.R.'s review. and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience! Addendum: J.R. deleted his inappropriate and presumptuous review.

During our visit yesterday at 8 p.m. in a group of 16 cycling friends, I was once again impressed by the food, the quick service and the loving preparation. The salad was particularly nice with blueberries and I also enjoyed the combination. We almost all had our food at pretty much the same time. Respect. The atmosphere is very cozy, I even noticed a cuckoo clock with an extra song yesterday. Toilets in great shape. My meal: Swiss delicacy… hmmm I’d love to eat it again

Very nice restaurant, with an inviting outdoor area. Came here with a large group. Good traditional cuisine, gladly again.

I also belong to the Radl group mentioned and can accept this subjective assessment from J.R. under no circumstances share! There were 16 of us, as far as I know everything was fine at 15. I can only speak for myself. The food was very tasty and plentiful, the service was fine and the atmosphere was very pleasant. You first have to manage to prepare 16 meals fresh within 30 minutes and give everyone drinks. I would also like to apologize. This one rating in no way corresponds to the impression of the Radl Group! The other 15 would like to come back if we are still welcome.

Our request for coffee/eating after a funeral service resulted in cake and sandwiches = 38 EUR / person. Of course we went there again and wanted to know how the high price came about. We then had to ask whether we didn't know that a piece of cake costs EUR 2 when shopping and we weren't here at the bazaar. Absolutely bold, unfriendly and rude. No matter how great the food is, I can't judge it. That's not how you treat guests. I can't recommend it, at least not if you want to go there with your mourning party. Since I can't respond to the owner's answer, I'll add my review here: It doesn't matter to me whether the price is too high or appropriate. The deceased's son-in-law left the conversation because he couldn't stand it any longer. They made my mother cry with the way she was spoken to. Whatever they don't want to be "evil", the sound makes the music. And there are certainly families who want and can pay 60EUR/person. There are also people who build an amusement park in their garden. Unfortunately we are not one of them. We don't live in prosperity and have to look at money. You can expect a polite answer to the question “how the price is determined”. You probably have to deal with more funeral ceremonies than we do in the family, so we certainly don't have the insight into what is appropriate. But I think it's inappropriate to give us the impression in conversation that we're being rude because we ask about the price. I think you should have a certain sensitivity when hosting mourners. They were not polite or empathetic. They were harsh and uncouth. This entry won't hurt them, I know that. But it makes us feel better. With this in mind, best wishes to you too.

We spontaneously decided to go out for dinner. While looking for the right location that was open (also during the week), we came across the restaurant “Zum Friesenberg”. The food was great, the portions were more than generous, the service was great. There was also nothing to complain about in terms of price and it was great considering the very good food. The atmosphere was also great and very clean and our girls and we really liked it. We can warmly recommend the restaurant “Zum Friesenberg”. We'll be back 👍🏻😃! Best regards

Well, I didn't know because I'm rarely in Plauen. The restaurant was excellent. Everything is very lovingly designed there, especially in the garden, but also in the restaurant. There is a lot to see for children. From an aviary with lots of colorful birds to a railway system. I can highly recommend everything.

Everything is just great! Food: All ingredients are very high quality and presented with attention to detail. Service: Very nice staff. No wishes were left unfulfilled. Ambience: lovingly designed inside and out and very clean. Whether alone or in a large group. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice staff, nicely developed. Neat and clean. Unfortunately it has a drawback! Dogs are not allowed in, no matter how small or large. Too bad

An excellent taste experience, completely surprising! (Loin medallions) The cooking point is outstanding and the balance of flavors is bold but well conceived, a recommendation at any time!

Really good cuisine with large, beautifully prepared portions. I've been here several times and it's always been tasty. The beef roulades are highly recommended. Big compliments to the innkeepers at Friesenberg!

Es ist zum Ritual geworden, einmal im Monat im Friesenberg einzukehren. Das Essen war bis dato immer super. Wir kommen immer wieder gern zu euch. Lg

Wir waren am 30.7.23 zum Mittagessen. Aussenbereich schön gestaltet , innen gemütlich, man fühlt sich gleich wohl , Bedienung nett und hilfsbereit. Essen verdammt gut und viel . Am besten immer Plätze vorbestellen ist gut besucht Sonntags mittags. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Dass Gebäude war zwar schön aber der Rest nicht. Meine Pommes haben nach dixi Klo gestunken und geschmeckt. Die Bedienung hat mich und meine Familie beim essen beobachtet (ich finde dass unhöflich) und war unfreundlich. Im insgesamten kann ich es nicht weiter empfehlen.

Kein Zweifel, das beste Essen in der Region! Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen war fantastisch, wie bei Muttern, es war auch sehr schön und war eine sehr große Portion!

Hat sehr gut geschmeckt, freundlich, sauber und preiswert. Wir kommen wieder, wurde schon an Freundeskreis weitergeleitet.

Wir waren am Sonntag Mittag essen und ich muss sagen das ich positiv überrascht war. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön gemacht, einfach zu Wohlfühlen. Nach kurzer Zeit wurde das Essen gebracht, es war liebevoll angerichtet und für mich als Mann die Perfekte Portion. Das Fleisch und der Salat alles frisch zubereitet da könnte sich die eine oder andere Gaststätte eine Scheibe abschneiden. Der Wirt ist freundlich und hat auch immer ein Lächeln auf denn Lippen.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern, weil ALLES zu 100% passt. Gutes Essen, wie bei Muttern!

Das Essen ist nicht nur kulinarisch ein Genuss sondern auch optisch!!! Mein Rumpsteak-Teller war sowas von apetitlich verziert, dass habe ich bisher in keiner anderen Gaststätte bekommen!!! Auch die herbstlichen Tischdekorationen wurden liebevoll gestaltet! Einige Gerichte können sogar als "Seniorenportion" bestellt werden! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!

Geheimtipp 👍 Echt gute Küche 👍 wir sind spät abends von der Fachmesse aus Nürnberg, Richtung Dresden gefahren und haben essen bestellt. Alles prima geschmeckt 👍

Wir feierten einen Geburtstag mit einem Brunch bei Familie Horlbeck. Das Buffet war wunderschön, ganz nach unseren Vorstellungen, gestaltet. Nicht nur fürs Auge, sondern auch für den Gaumen ein Genuss. Die Location ist ausgesprochen ansprechend und für Familienfeiern sehr zu empfehlen.
