Delicious food at a German restaurant just across the border, and......without beer!!

Good and friendly service. Food was good and the price was right.

We were there for the first time today and reserved a table in advance. Even on the phone you could tell that there was a lot of passion here. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. Our order didn't take long. The food that was brought looked like a dream. Our son liked it so much that we ordered the same dish again for him. We were also more than satisfied with our dishes and we really enjoyed them. It's crazy that we never noticed this place. We discovered it by chance. The whole evening was perfect for us and we will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately very small portions for a steakhouse and the food was unfortunately lacking in salt. The service quickly seemed overwhelmed.

Fairly ordinary cuisine, frozen vegetables, very thin and dry meat (schnitzel), industrial brown sauce (powder?). Eatable but nothing more.

The Steaks and Co. Marktstube is a brasserie located in the center of the small and pretty village of Rontgen. The restaurant has an internal appearance that is difficult to find in Italy: it is not Alpine, but not contemporary either, it is a sort of Teutonic Osteria, tidy and very clean indeed. The menu is varied, ranging from soups, meat, fish and complete dishes. We chose a Viennese schnitzel, a Schnitzel, two breaded meats very similar to each other, and a "Pusztaplatte", which in the ideas of the restaurant is a compendium of Hungarian specialities, consisting of three slices of pork fillet immersed in a spicy sauce with vegetables. However, if you scroll through the menu you will find other typical dishes from other European countries, such as Croatian Cevapcici or Serbian Pljeskavica. Appreciable! As is the fact that the restaurant offers an open, all-you-can-eat vegetable buffet, included in the price. The reason is easy to say: the waiting times for food are long, so in any case you cannot think of stopping here for a quick stop. The food is good, nothing exceptional, but prepared with quality ingredients. The bill, for three people and one dish each, is absolutely convenient. In short, if you are looking for a restaurant outside the usual tourist circles of the Eifel, it is a more than interesting choice.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. The service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The drinks and food arrive quickly. The portions are plentiful and very tasty. We can't complain about anything. Everything perfect !

We ate there today with 4 adults and our 2 year old grandson. For me it was the first visit but definitely not the last. The food was excellent, but what was particularly noticeable was the high level of attentiveness and friendliness of the service. Our grandson was really taken care of. Thank you! We will be back.

It was a nice little restaurant. You could also sit outside. It's best to reserve in advance. It was very busy. If you're lucky you'll get a spot. Which is a good sign for good food. Food was very tasty!! You could choose your own salad. I can only recommend it. We will be back definitely!!

Excellent restaurant from A to Z. Salad from the buffet with every dish, except starters and children's plates. Super nice hosts, in every respect. A reservation is definitely recommended, even for just two people, but it is also stated on the website. Otherwise, this is our first address if we come close again.

Too many mistakes in our order, we got food, that we had not ordered, on the bill there were foods, that we had not eaten or ordered. The bill was few euros higher than it should be. The staff messed up an order and we still had to pay for it. Never again.

Very cozy restaurant with recommended food and even better service! I had an extra request ("vegetarianization" of a dish), which was wonderfully accommodated by the very nice waitress. Plus a nice atmosphere - we can only recommend it 👍🏻

Unfortunately, the meat smelled and tasted slightly sour, indicating slight spoilage Salad buffet was too much out of a can (corn, beans, beetroot would be more home-made would be desirable, all in all there is room for improvement. Service was super friendly

Very tasty food. The sauerbraten was really excellent. There were four of us here and the other dishes were also very good. The staff was very friendly, the service was good & the food came quickly because we had cinema tickets afterwards. Lovely again!

Ein paar Anmerkungen. Die Speisekarte ist nicht aktuell. Preise auf der Speisekarte stimmen nicht mit der überein. Essen war in Ordnung. Leider lauwarm. Standard Salatbuffet.

Sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war richtig gut.zwiebelsuppe einfach perfekt. Das Rinderfilet auf den Punkt sehr gute Qualität. Die knoblauchauce traumhaft. Das war nicht das letzte Mal 🥰

Wir waren heute vor Ort zum Essen eingeladen und waren begeistert. Das Personal war zuvorkommend, sehr höflich und sympathisch. Das Ambiente passt und wirkt sehr stimmig. Ich hatte einen Grillteller und er hat mir geschmeckt. Was ich persönlich toll finde, es gibt eine kleine Salatbar an der man sich ausgiebig bedienen kann. Mir hat es ehrlich gesagt an nichts gefehlt. Zwischendrin haben wir uns noch einen Cappuccino bestellt der natürlich auch sehr lecker war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Volle Punktzahl von uns !

Spontan Platz bekommen mit zwei Hunden und sehr zügig bedient worden. Sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und zudem war es sehr lecker. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Waren auf der Durchreise von Frankreich nach Hamburg und haben einen Stopp in Roetgen gemacht . Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und super Essen. Preis Leistung ok. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Super Restaurant. Der Besitzer, sowie seine Angestellten sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Schnitzel mit dem Spargel 😍 Zum Trinken gibt es frisch gezapftes Bitburger. 😎 Der Preis ist für die Leistung gerechtfertigt. Ich komme gerne regelmäßig wieder.

Es war der Wahnsinn sind das erstemal hier gewesen und waren begeistert. Wir haben unseren Hochzeitstag hier gefeiert. Der Tisch hatte andere Blumen Deko und an der Lampe hingen Luftballons. Dann bekamen wir noch einen leckeren Nachtisch auf's Haus. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend

Sehr freundliches Personal, die Portion Bratkartoffeln mit Ei war allerdings für 11,90 € sehr übersichtlich und eher ein Kinderteller. Positiv war das Salatbuffet.
