Portions small but filling well. Staff very friendly.

We always enjoy going here. The food is always very tasty. Particularly recommended is the roast beef, braised super tender and well seasoned. Service and ambience are familiar and friendly. An atmosphere to feel good and enjoy good things in a relaxed manner.

We ate here on December 31st, 2024. We haven't eaten such delicious Greek food for a long time. We haven't had such nice hosts for a long time. You really do your job with a lot of love 🥰 Thank you for the lovely evening. I would like the recipe for the stuffed grape leaves 😀

We came in a large group. We made reservations for 19 people and had to squeeze into a table where 12 people could have easily sat. The staff then also had a bad tone towards the children. Never again!!

How can this store have such good reviews? Tip in advance: the best Greek restaurant in Hamburg is about 200 meters away. Just go there... I'll never go there again!! I go to the Greek restaurant probably 10 times a year and the place has never earned more than 2 stars. The ambience is fine. The service sometimes seems rather annoyed by customers and is unfriendly. Now for the food.. The food is really ridiculous… The Bifteki (18€) was so mini and had maybe 5 grams of sheep's cheese in it. It tasted really bad and please look at the color in the photo… what is that? There were exactly 12 pieces of fries... My colleague had the gyro...that was even more disgusting. This came out of the pan and was just fat. The Corfu Grill is about 200 meters further. 3 times larger portions and tastes worlds better. Always just go to the Corfu Grill, which has been top notch for over 20 years.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and it will always be my first choice when craving delicious Greek food! The service is outstanding! Such a friendly and great service from all the family at the restaurant. You are always welcomed with a smile and a delicious Ouzo. The service is very fast and always take care of your wishes. You have to areas, smoking and non smoking area. In summer you can happily sit outside. The atmosphere is very welcoming and suiting for a Greek restaurant. The food is delicious! I love the gyros teller and also the Metaxa Pfanne. You get so full from the servings and you always get a delicious salad as a starter. Just take into account you can only pay with cash or EC/Maestro card! Will be coming back here as I’ve been coming for many years now.

Authentic Greek! Turkey souvlaki with fries is an absolute recommendation.

Lambrini is the good soul of the house. Her daughters are also very friendly and accommodating. All three make you feel like you are part of the family. I also observe this with other guests. Gina is a luminary in the kitchen, the food always tastes good, but never the same, so you get a new taste every time. The portions never look sparse, as you would otherwise find in other restaurants, but they are never overloaded either. They are all child-friendly and a great changing table is also available. Everything is always clean and tidy. We always like to go there and are happy every time we are there and enjoy our time there.

Super!! If I could, I would give it more than just 5 stars! My wife had the minced steak and I had the pollack fillet with dill sauce and both tasted like a true work of art, a poem for the palate! And the teramisu underlines the high art! I can only warmly recommend the restaurant to everyone!!!

One of the worst Greek restaurants in Hamburg: completely overwhelmed service. Long waiting times. Lukewarm, fatty gyros with a dollop of tzatziki. When paying you are first informed that Visa is not accepted.

Good food at fair prices. (Lunch is also offered). Cozy atmosphere and a really nice owner. So you can only recommend it. We'd love to come back.

We were there with 7 people in the evening during the week. Reservations for outside were not necessary. I got some bread and spread from the house in advance. The food was okay. Service was friendly, the wait wasn't long.

Ambience is a bit old. But the food was really good. I've eaten better tzatziki. But they serve very good home-baked bread in a really good rezina. Overall everything is good.

Unfortunately we weren't allowed to eat there. By late afternoon almost all the benches outside were free. We sat down at a bench. There was an older gentleman sitting behind us who was smoking. The waitress was so snotty and rude - we've never experienced that before. Even though the other benches were all still free and the first reservations weren't due for another two hours, we had to sit very closely next to the smoking gentleman. When we asked whether we could only place different bets until other guests arrived, the waitress became very rude and simply said: “Then not!”, took the cards with her and stomped off. The good lady has probably never heard of hospitality. I have never experienced anything like this in any other restaurant. Hopefully the boss reads this!

Even after being told that it wasn't good, there was no reaction or rather cheeky and mushy...... This store will definitely never see us again... Salad was immersed in oil, fries that were more like potato wedges could be literally wrung out. Non-carbonated Cola and much more

A slightly more simply furnished Greek restaurant with a rather simple clientele doesn't really look like anything from the outside (which should definitely be changed!). Inside, everything is also rather simply furnished, but what was immediately noticeable is that everything was sparkling clean. We thought, okay, a grill plate for 10 on the lunch menu, let's hope it tastes halfway. But what we received for lunch exceeded all expectations. Three kinds of really tasty, perfectly prepared grilled meat, crispy fresh salad, very tasty tzatziki, crispy fries, and not a little of everything. The cappuccino was twice as big as most others and at the end there was an ouzo on the house. That was necessary because we were so full. Wow. A real little insider tip! Here you can get really good Greek food for reasonable prices. And the lunch menu in particular makes it affordable for those who don't have a lot of money to go out for a good meal. Great! We will definitely come back on our next trip to Hamburg!

Today I was there for lunch. As always, the owner was very attentive, friendly, approachable and with heart (as were the staff). Although the cozy restaurant was busy, I didn't have to wait long for my order and the food/drink. The turkey meat was deliciously seasoned and tender, the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - just as they should be. The price-performance ratio is adequate. I have been coming here for over 20 years, can highly recommend the restaurant and am looking forward to the summer because then you can enjoy the time, the food and the beer outside.

Nice personel. Before the meal there is bread with dip. With or before a meal, a large salad plate. And like almost everywhere, Ouzo👍 Gladly again.

Das Essen war nicht der Hit. Alles zu trocken. Das einzige gute der zaziki war lecker. Bein Service Personal gesagt was nicht gefällt, als Antwort das machen wir so. Leider war das Lokal so voll das man über eine Stunde auf essen warten müsste.

Das Essen (Fischplatte und Hacksteaks) sowie der Service der Damen waren wirklich gut, das Ambiente leider nicht. Das gesamte Mobiliar scheint aus den 80ern zu stammen.

We stumbled upon this place on a Monday while craving Greek food, as most other places nearby were closed. Fortunately, we did, or we might have overlooked this unassuming spot. The food was tasty, served quickly, and priced fairly. The service was welcoming, and there was a genuine passion for hosting guests. We'll definitely return. Thank you!

Sehr freundlicher Service. Essen lecker, die Suppe mit Fleischklöschen war auch OK, nur nicht ganz unser Geschmack. Saßen draußen auf Bierbank Garnituren. Ouzo und einen alkoholfreier Aperitif gab es gratis, ebenso Brot mit einem leckeren Dip.

El restaurante griego Zeus en Emsbüttel Hamburgo, nos brindó una experiencia gastronómica excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, fuimos recibidos con una hospitalidad cálida y amigable. La cena estuvo llena de sabores auténticos y delicias griegas, como moussaka, souvlaki y baklava, que nos transportaron directamente a Grecia. La calidad de la comida combinada con el ambiente acogedor del lugar hizo que nuestra velada fuera realmente memorable. Definitivamente, Zeus es una parada obligada para quienes deseen disfrutar de auténtica cocina griega en Hamburgo.

Ich war mit meiner Familie zum Mittagessen dort. Das Gyros war sehr fettig, das Hackstake trocken. Draußen kann man nur auf Bierbänken sitzen. Drinnen ist das Ambiente ok. Das Personal war freundlich & der gebackene Ziegenkäse sehr lecker. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis meiner Meinung nach nicht gut. Zu teuer für die Qualität der Speisen.

Bin nun seid Jahren da stämmgäste bei Kosta und es immer wieder schön. Vor allem dem Service hat seine Tochter bestens im Griff und das Essen ist immer bester Qualität und es gibt immer was neues, so das es nicht langweilig wird.

Kosta ist ein bisschen crazy aber kümmert sich liebevoll um seine Gäste. Das Essen ist nicht typisch "viel Essen für kleines Geld" sondern eher etwas feiner. Hier komme ich gern hin.

Ελληνικό εστιατόριο στο Eimsbuttel. Θα το αναγνωρίσεις από την ελληνική σημαία που κυματιζει. Η υποδοχή φιλόξενη όπως σε κάθε Έλληνα (ουζάκι για το καλοσωρισμα ). Υπάρχει χώρος για καπνιζοντες και μη. Κρέατα ψάρια όλα φρέσκα γιαυτό και είναι 30 χρόνια στη περιοχή με ότι δυσκολία σημαίνει αυτό. Τιμές πολύ λογικές για την ποιότητα που προσφέρει . Σερβιτόροι φιλικοί και γρήγοροι. Στο τέλος θα σε κεράσουν και γλυκό , κάτι που δεν συνηθίζεται, στα γερμανικά εστιατόρια .

Immer schön dort draußen zu sitzen und es ist ein immer super nettes Team! Leider ist (aus meiner Sicht) die Qualität der Speisen im Laufe der Jahre etwas gesunken und auch die Inneneinrichtung könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Schmeckt trotzdem noch, aber es reicht für mich leider nur noch für 3 Punkte im Vergleich zu anderen griechischen Restaurants ...

Super accueil dans ce restaurant de quartier fréquenté par des habitués, en particulier de la communauté grecque hambourgeoise. Cuisine correcte, sans grande originalité, mais ambiance familiale très sympa et très généreuse. Apéro, petit verre d'ouzo et dessert offerts...

Nach 3 Jahren endlich mal wieder in Hamburg bei Kosta und man wird empfangen wie ein zurückgekehrtes Mitglied der Familie. Es ist schon beeindruckend wie mit Service und ehrlicher Freundlichkeit eine Atmosphäre geschaffen wird in der man sich nur wohl fühlen kann. Dazu köstliches Essen, leckere Getränke. Immer wieder ein rundum gelungener Abend!

Not certain what all the hype is about. Souvlaki meat was hard and chewy. Calamari was frozen of course. Only redeeming feature was the friendly service. Otherwise there are (in my view) plenty of tastier, better quality Greek restaurants nearby (whatever the budget).

Das Zeus ist sozusagen mein Stamm Grieche. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist absolut stimmig für ein griechisches Restaurant- wie auch die Einrichtung:-)
