We had booked a table weeks in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The meat was as tough as shoe leather, and the few lettuce leaves were past their prime. There wasn't even the slightest bit of festive decoration. Nothing; absolutely nothing. We'll just say one thing: we will never set foot in that place again!!! The waiter barely spoke German, so we didn't bother to tell him what had gone wrong with the meal. After the meal, he didn't ask if we had enjoyed it or if everything was alright. How are you supposed to communicate with someone who doesn't speak German? It would have been really nice if our table, which we had booked weeks in advance, had been decorated in a slightly festive way. We had clearly stated that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. What also surprised us was that we were the only guests in the restaurant. That doesn't exactly speak well for a restaurant with 4.7 stars.

The food was delicious. The waiters were friendly. The DJ was an acquired taste. I missed the modern music.

A pleasant and atmospheric place. Everything was delicious, but the shashlik had bones (large ones). That was the only downside. Otherwise, the eggplant salad, the lula kebab, and the shashlik itself were excellent. I was also surprised that the cutlery was placed on the tablecloth, not on napkins or a separate cover.

This was my first and definitely my last time at this restaurant. The only truly tasty thing was the fries. The dish "Yerevan 2" was very disappointing overall. The crown of lamb was so small that it was hard to believe it was a main course. The kebab resembled a compressed meat paste and looked more like a bockwurst. Surprisingly, the chicken and lamb kebabs looked almost identical—and tasted almost indistinguishable. I don't think the prices are justified for the quality and quantity of the food.

We were very disappointed. We wanted to go out for a fancy meal for our birthday, and I was familiar with this dish, Khashlama with lamb. But this time the potatoes were undercooked, and the meat was tough and on the bone. When we informed the waiter, we weren't taken seriously. Then they disappeared without any reaction. Later, they asked if we had any other requests and overlooked the unfinished stew. That's not right; we were the only guests.

We went there to celebrate my birthday and we had a lovely experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be back.

The meal is worth every penny. The salmon was tender as butter, the meat was wonderfully seasoned and not overly seasoned. Just right. This cheese selection also offers something for every taste. Truly delicious in every way.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The staff does not speak English, which leads to many misunderstandings. The menu is only in German, which made it difficult to order correctly. Inside the restaurant there was a kind of playground, where the owner's children played very noisily - it created a chaotic atmosphere. We ordered lamb dishes, among other things, but it definitely did not taste like lamb. The dishes did not meet expectations at all, and the prices were very high compared to the quality. All in all, a bad experience with both food, service and atmosphere. Not a place I would recommend.

The food was not great. The lamb tasted like pork! We complained, and got a new dish, that tasted just as bad. Paid full price for it all anyway. The waiter didn’t speak a word English, so communication was not easy. Can’t recommend this place, there are far better options everywhere. 👎

The concept is great, the food was really good, but the atmosphere was amazing. It was a great evening! Addendum, I've just read other reviews: yes, it's loud and cheerful, the kitchen isn't for everyone, but if you want to try something different, you'll have a lot of fun here. We also knew that it wouldn't be the way we celebrated, but it was fantastic.

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside and its location at the train station, but the inside is well maintained. The service is super friendly and fast. The food first and main courses are very tasty and the portions are large enough to fill you up even without 5 courses. In any case, we didn't manage any more dessert. The food has hints of Georgian cuisine but lovers of "Yugoslavian" cuisine will also like it. The Amenian wines and spirits should definitely be tried. At the time of our visit there were several birthdays there and with the music the sound level was of course high and of course helped by the large room but that's not how it is. All in all, a lovely evening and we will definitely be back.

Despite the starter, you unfortunately have no chance of being full given the portions. My kebab consisted of two manageable skewers, which were served on a thin piece of bread without any side dish. The fried vegetables that were part of the dish according to the menu were looked for in vain. But no one in our dining group consistently received that. The taste is very solid, but to be honest it's not overwhelming. Things got really uncomfortable when some music was turned up so loud that the system overloaded and you literally had to scream at each other. There were hardly any other guests besides us, but they really enjoyed their folklore (even if not Armenian). For everyone else, the ultimate bouncer

Today we wanted to try Armenian cuisine. The vegetarian starters were a great start – we had the eggplant rolls and passus dolma. The various grilled platters as the main course were well prepared and left nothing to be desired. As dessert there was a piece of homemade honey cake, which rounded off the evening sweetly - a real highlight! The location is a larger hall, which is interesting and beautifully furnished. However, it was quite empty when we visited, which dampened the atmosphere a bit. The service deserves special praise – attentive and friendly. Overall, the price-performance ratio was fair, even if the starters were expensive in our opinion. A positive highlight is the generous bread basket, which really offers a lot for the price. All in all, a very successful evening with small drawbacks – 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Relatively spontaneously and inspired by TikTok, the three of us went to the Armenian restaurant Yerevan at the Friedrichsfeld-Ost S-Bahn station. Despite not having a reservation - a clear beginner's mistake, as we quickly learned - we received a very warm welcome. The attentive staff immediately tried to set up a table for us and after a short wait we were able to sit down. The advice to make a reservation on the weekend, as the restaurant is very well attended due to its live music program, was helpful, even if we were impressed by the spontaneous organization. After ordering the drinks, we had enough time to study the menu - and it was a bit overwhelming for us due to its large selection. Ultimately, the three of us decided on four main courses in order to try and share as many dishes as possible. Our choice was the famous Khinkali (stuffed dumplings), a tender lamb fillet, Lyulya Kebab (chicken) and the house specialty, Xashlama (braised beef with vegetables). Our waiter was extremely friendly, took time to explain the dishes and made recommendations, which enriched the experience. Although the restaurant was full, the wait for the food was a little long, which left the impression that the kitchen was at capacity. But when the dishes were served, we were impressed by the generous portions and the loving and authentic presentation. The meal itself was extremely successful. The lamb fillet was tender and aromatic, the chicken kebab juicy and well seasoned. The khinkali and the xashlama in particular stood out: the khinkali offered a culinary highlight with their spicy filling and intense broth, and the xashlama was as tender as butter, with a wonderfully balanced sauce. These two dishes alone would be reason enough to visit Yerevan again. Unfortunately, it was noticeable that the side dishes such as bulgur or vegetables were treated rather casually and lost some of their sophistication compared to the main courses. All in all, we were pleasantly surprised to find such an authentic and high-quality culinary experience in a rather inconspicuous location like the Friedrichsfeld-Ost S-Bahn station. Yerevan is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to get to know Armenian cuisine. Our conclusion: We will definitely come back – and next time with a reservation!

Since there aren't too many authentic Armenian restaurants in Germany, our anticipation was very great - and it was more than confirmed. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, although the large dining room gave it a certain sterility. However, this impression was quickly offset by the extremely friendly and courteous service. We opted for a selection of classics: dolma, both in white cabbage and grape leaves, khinkali and lyla kebab. The dolma were perfectly seasoned and tender. The Khinkali were also delicious. In our opinion, the Lyla Kebab could have spent a little longer on the grill to develop a more intense roasted aroma, but apart from that it was also very tasty. The portions were generous, so we were well full. All in all, a thoroughly successful evening with delicious Armenian cuisine. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely visit Yerevan to discover the authentic flavors.

But after a rude guy started working there, the administrator and he is a waiter who is rude, squirms, looks at the customers with disdain and reacts disrespectfully to guests, confusing orders and assuring that people ordered it themselves... the desire to visit this place suddenly left us... even later, when we visited this "restaurant", the portions of the food became smaller and smaller each time, as if our portions were divided into two halves. It's a shame that this place has deteriorated so much and that such employees are allowed to work there...(

The visit to the Yerevan restaurant was an absolutely positive surprise for us. Located directly at the Friedrichsfelde Ost S-Bahn station, it is very easy to reach by public transport. The service was extremely friendly, guest-oriented and quickly got into a very nice conversation with all of us. The food was amazing. We celebrated a party with a large group. It was very stuffy and hot, almost no oxygen... There is no air conditioning and although there may be ventilation, I wasn't sure about it as it wasn't working. In summer it is impossible to be in a crowded hall. We were looking forward to delicious meat from the Armenians. But what awaited us? The shish kebab was unappetizing, the meat tasted slightly sour and a bit over-salted and had bones. There should be no bones on a skewer. The Lula kebab was also disappointing, and the quality and composition of the minced meat remain questionable. The waiters were friendly and quick. The wine was very good.

Kebab, which was supposed to consist of pure minced meat, was something that only remotely resembled minced meat; probably something else will be added to it. The lamb crowns were very dry. We were very disappointed with the quality of the meat, it definitely wasn't fresh. There was also no air conditioning in the hall, it was very stuffy and full of other people. Outside at 28 degrees was much more pleasant and fresh.

Great Armenian restaurant in Berlin. Although it is a bit isolated from the center, it is still worth a visit for everyone. You could combine this with a visit to the zoo, for example. However, it is still well connected thanks to the nearby S-Bahn station. The food is always excellent and authentically reflects Armenian cuisine. The meat dishes don’t even have to be the focus. A combination of different starters also gives you an idea of ​​what delicacies there are in the southern Caucasus. The staff are all very friendly and will certainly be happy to help you choose if you are undecided. Particularly recommended: the typical Armenian pomegranate wine!

On the recommendation of the waiter, who was very nice and friendly, we had a large platter with different types of meat and fish , dips, vegetables, starters, fried potatoes, freshly baked bread, fresh salad and white wine.
