It's been almost 10 years since we were here for Sunday brunch. Back then, it was from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but now it's called lunch and runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. What we noticed right away was that they don't serve as much food as they used to, and there were fewer customers. The sushi was not tasty at all; it certainly wasn't homemade, but rather convenient. The staff was very friendly and always available, asking what we wanted and whether we needed refills. Overall, I was satisfied with the value for money.

One thing that stood out was that the staff were doing their job, but without much passion or desire to ensure guests had a pleasant stay. One positive aspect was the all-inclusive drinks option, where you could drink as much as you wanted. This is definitely a plus for those who value a free choice of drinks. If I hadn't been invited, I wouldn't have paid the price for this brunch. The quality of the food and the service definitely need improvement to live up to the standards of an all-inclusive brunch in a hotel of this category. Conclusion: While the all-inclusive brunch in the Wintergarten Restaurant offers plenty of drinks, the food quality and service aren't entirely convincing. For the price, you'd expect higher quality and a friendlier atmosphere. You should know!

Ladies and Gentlemen We would like to thank the entire team for the very nice “Sunday lunch” (April 13, 2025/Tisch6). Even the table reservation over the phone was very professional and, above all, very friendly. The service during these 3 hours was very attentive and polite. We found the entire selection of dishes to be very varied and tasty. The range of drinks (champagne, beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee - all included) also left nothing to be desired. It was time again for Sunday brunch at the Maritim Hotel. We've been to brunch five times now, and I don't think there will be a sixth. The price has almost doubled in the last few years, and the selection has shrunk. No more fresh salmon, no more honeycomb, no more chocolate fountain, only two types of jam, no hazelnut spread, just scrambled eggs without bacon... a bit lackluster. The rest of the food was, of course, deliciously presented (small bites).

Ein unübertroffener Brunch. Das ist die Meinung alller meiner geladenen Gäste zu unserer Geburstagsfeier. Ein Lob dem Küchenpersonal die dieses Buffet gezaubert haben, man konnte nicht mal alle Leckerein kosten, es waren einfach zu viel, das heißt es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Zusätzlich kommt eine kaum zu übertreffende Bedienung hinzu, schnell, zuvorkommend und man konnte sogar mal ein lockeres Wort wechseln. Man kann also diese Gastlichkeit mit diesen gesunden Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nur weiter empfehlen.

The Sunday lunch in the winter garden of the Maritimhotel is really highly recommended. Everything at the buffet is beautifully presented. Everything is fresh and of great quality. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. You can only feel comfortable in this atmosphere. The next visit is already being planned.

Es war ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Der Sonntagslunch war sehr vielseitig. Die Auswahl war sehr üppig, dass wir leider nicht von allen Speisen kosten konnten. Es sah alles sehr einladend aus und es wurde auch ständig nachgelegt. Die Bedienung war sehr umsichtig und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem können wir den Sonntagslunch sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis.

Eine phantastische Auswahl an kalten und warmen Speisen. Aufmerksames aber kein aufdringliches Personal. Getränkeauswahl ist super, mehr braucht man nicht.

Von der attraktiven Restaurant Beschreibung angelockt, hatten wir beabsichtigt, im Maritim Hotel zu Abend zu essen. Leider mussten wir dieses Vorhaben wegen desinteressiertem Servicepersonal abbrechen. Wir sind nach dem Aperitif wieder gegangen und haben uns ein anderes Restaurant gesucht, es gibt ja zum Glück viele gute in Dresden. Dass man von der Elbterasse keinen Blick auf die Elbe hat, steht auf einem anderen Blatt.

Restaurant in the Maritim Hotel. Half board with breakfast and dinner buffet style. There are always fresh omelets and sometimes crepes or waffles for breakfast. The selection at the buffet was sufficient and always fresh.

Staying at the hotel, food is excellent at breakfast, well stocked buffet, fresh omelette to order and choice of eggs. Good varied continental including fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, meats, cheeses, fresh bread, pastries, smoked salmon, sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs. Vegetable juice bar a nice touch and self service vegetable juice bar. Evening meal, reasonably priced, choice of a self service buffet or a la carte menu. We had the local cuisine dishes with local beer and wine. Main waiter was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would recommend you won’t be disappointed.

Dinner buffet: the selection was quite good, but you often had to wait for 10 minutes at the food counter for the main course until the "chef" arrived (he didn't arrive earlier even though the service staff were informed); due to the small number of guests, some of the food was cold or stuck to the warming container; it is estimated that 85% of the food on this buffet evening was not eaten; the service - actually adequately staffed - was friendly but very lazy; even when you waved repeatedly, you were looked through and ignored; complaints were met with incomprehension.

Wir kommen schon seit 6 Jahren regelmäßig zum Champagnerbrunch in das Restaurant Wintergarten im Maritimhotel Dresden. Das angebotene Essen war wie immer ein Genuss. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und geht auch auf die Wünsche der Gäste schnell ein.

Unfortunately, as already written in previous reviews...staff rude, overwhelmed. The bar menu was sparse and, contrary to what the receptionist said, the kitchen closed at 10 p.m. The chip shop in the Neustadt with a better atmosphere...

Unfortunately, the selection of dishes is limited, but the burger and fries were very tasty. Staff was very attentive and the ambience was pleasant. Prices are high but okay for such a hotel.

Wir waren Hotelgäste und das Frühstück im Restaurant war inkludiert. Sehr gutes Frühtück, vielseitig, große Auswahl. Leider ist es hier etwas unruhig und stressig, man findet kaum einen freien Tisch und dementsprechend ist das Personal auch gestresst und viele leider auch unfreundlich zu den Gästen. Als Hotelgast, der spät nach einer langen Reise angereist ist, bekommt man nach 21:30 Uhr nicht einmal Pommes angeboten. Die Enttäuschung wird noch größer, als in der nebenliegenden Piano Bar (geöffnet täglich bis 01:00 Uhr) das Gleiche passiert! "Wir haben gar nichts zum Essen!" Was nutzen die guten Bewertungen bei solchen Konditionen??!!

Wir haben während unseres Urlaubes jeden Tag das leckere Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet genießen dürfen und das bei einem sehr freundlichem Service.

Despite hygiene requirements, there was a good organization for breakfast. Large buffet and great selection. There was also a very good selection on the snack menu for dinner and, above all, it was damn tasty.

As a starter i ordered a ‘asparagus- arugula salad‘. I received a plate full of plain endive with some cheap dressing from the supermarket. No asparagus or arugula at all. For the main course i expected a ‘pumpkin ragout with risotto rice’. All i got was some steamed white rice with cooked pumpkin and bell pepper. No presentation, no additional flavour or sauce. Both meals were the type of meals you would expect from students with a low budget: not from a ‘chef’ in an expensive restaurant.

Wir wollten vor der Massage was Kleines zu Mittag essen. Bedienung war super nett und zügig. Es gab leider nur eine Snackkarte,deshalb der Punktabzug. Getränke kamen schnell, es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche, naja Brötchen u Butter???geht besser. Tomatensuppe u Salat waren sehr lecker. Für kleinen Snack am Radweg zu empfehlen.

The worst service ever! I have ordered a large beer and got a small one, the waiter told me no problem you will get a 2nd one but then charged me the price of 2 small beers>price of 1 large. I have asked for medium rare for my steack and got one medium well...I had to ask for bread where all other customers had pieces of bread as starters...I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Der vom Angebot und dem Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis beste Br(l)unch, den Sie in Dresden genießen können. Nicht ganz preisgünstig, dafür beste Qualität und größtes Angebot. Getränke inkl. vom Begrüßungssekt, über Wein, Bier und alkoholfrei....

Sehr guter Brunch mit allem was das Herz/ Hunger begehrt, freundliches Personal. Leider sehr viel dreckige oder angeschlagene Gläser was man in dieser Preisgruppe dringend vermeiden sollte!

In diesem Restaurant wird morgens das Frühstücksbufet serviert (grosszügig und anständig). Als wir abends dort waren gab es leider keinen "a la carte" Service sondern nur ein Büfet. Qualität gut, aber, wie gesagt nur Büfet......

Wir waren in dieses Restaurant zum Sonntagslunch eingeladen. Eigentlich betrachte ich Brunch und Lunchbuffet mit einer gewissen Skepsis und meide vor allem an Sonntagen diese Form der Speisenaufnahme. Allzu oft werden solche Buffets von Gastronomen genutzt, um ihre a la carte Überreste am Sonntag dem geneigten Gast schön dekoriert unterzujubeln… Das was uns heute hier geboten wurde war aber das ganze Gegenteil. Leider wusste ich bisher nicht, daß es solche Sternstunden in Dresden noch gibt. Personal Top! Hier begeistern noch „alte Hasen“ der Gastronomie und keine Studentenaushilfskräfte. Wunderschön eingedeckt, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zur Begrüßung wurde ein Frizzante Rose gereicht und nicht der übliche Rotkäppchen Kaufhallensekt. Begleitender Wein zum Essen war unter anderem ein Roter Ursprung vom Weinhaus Ullrich und kein Hauswein aus dem Tetrapack, klasse. Buffetaufbau, Optik und Sauberkeit liesen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Aber der eigentliche Hammer war, das alles genauso gut ausnahmslos geschmeckt hat. Roastbeef rosa Niedertemperatur gegart und auf dem Punkt. Dazu eine sc. Bernaise in Handarbeit gefertigt (ja das gibt es noch). Gemüse frisch geschwenkt, Sushi, ganzer Lachs, riesen Dessertauswahl und vieles mehr. Käseauswahl bestand ausschließlich aus französichem Rohmilchkäse. Brillat Savarin, Reblochon, Morbier u.s.w. Auch das ist nicht selbstverständlich, und war für uns Käsefans ein würdiger Abschluss. Der Preis geht absolut in Ordnung, wer sich daran stört ist beim gelben M besser aufgehoben. Das Gesamtpacket stimmt hier und das ist entscheident. Danke!

Anlässlich der Fussballtrainer-Tagung in Dresden wollte ich heute Mittag beim Mittagessen nach bekannten Trainern Ausschau halten ... aber es gab nur ein Mittagsbuffet für 26,00 € (bei 33°!!!) und noch nicht mal eine kleine, den Temperaturen und dem kleinen Hunger angemessene a la carte-Karte ... Da bin ich doch lieber woanders essen gegangen ...

Jeden Sonntag wird das meiner Meinung nach bester Bruch ( hier Lunch, da Beginn 12 Uhr) serviert. Sehr große Auswahl im Vorspeisenbereich, sehr leckere Hauptgerichte saisonal aufbereitet und die Desserts..... Man kann nicht anders als hier "genudelt" wiedr zu gehen. Nicht der preiswerteste Brunch aber der Beste !!!

Aufgrund sehr später Anreise, blieb ich im hoteleigenen Restaurant und entschloss mich wegen der vorgerückten Stunde für das vegane Menü....

The restaurant at the Maritim hotel serves buffet breakfast in the morning, and a la carte options at dinner. In good weather, the terrace has seating with a nice view of the river. Limited but well presented menu. Good preparation and presentation of the food.
