Bestes Restaurant in Göhren! Nicht nur, dass man einen schönen Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer hat, dass Essen hat immer top geschmeckt und wurde optisch ansprechend serviert. Trotz großer Auswahl an Gerichten, kam das Essen nach nur 10 min. Cocktails und Eisbecher haben auch gut geschmeckt Zudem sind alle Kellner aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Unverschämtes Servicepersonal, ich wurde regelrecht rausgeschmissen, als ich mir die Hände waschen wollte und wurde an eine öffentliche Toilette verwiesen ,während meine Frau an einem Tisch Platz nahm. , da wir die Absicht hatten, als Gäste in diesem Lokal zu speisen. Wir haben dann ein sehr gutes anderes Restaurant aufgesucht . Bei so einem "Personal " möchte ich die Küche lieber nicht ausprobieren...so etwas ist mir auch noch nicht passiert ! 11 von 10 Minuspunkten...👎

Eis war sehr lecker 👍. Kaffee hat auch geschmeckt. Der Blick auf die Ostsee ist hervorragend. Kommen gerne wieder. Das einzige was uns wirklich gestört hat waren die zwei Kettenraucher am Tisch gegenüber!!! Ich finde da müsste es im Gastbereich ein Rauchverbot geben!!! Wer rauchen will soll sich bitte dorthin stellen wo die Gäste nicht durch den Rauch belästigt werden!!!

Super Lage und dementsprechende Preise! Aber: Eisbecher sowie Weinschorle wenig super, eher minderwertig!

Unser Essen war lecker, die Lage und die Aussicht ist toll und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant Übersee war ganz wunderbar. Preis - Leistung sind super, der Service schnell und sehr freundlich. Unser Highlight: wir durften drinnen Platz nehmen mit unseren 4 Hunden und auch die Vierbeiner wurden liebevoll behandelt. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant Übersee gerne weiter!

Ich kann die tolle Aussicht und die Top-Lage nur nochmal hervorheben. Wir hatten uns zum Nachmittagskaffee hier eingefunden. Leider dauerte es trotz nicht allzu vielen Gästen überraschend lange, bis die Waffeln und der Kuchen den Weg an unseren Tisch gefunden hatten. Die Waffeln waren etwas "schmal auf der Brust", der Kuchen und der Kaffee waren okay.

Nettes kleines aber feines Restaurant direkt an der Ecke zur Küstenstraße. Preis Leistung würde ich sagen für diese Lage direkt am Strand, OK. Toilette nur für zahlenden Gäste. Sauberkeit und Service hier leider nur ein OK, da sie optisch unsauber wirkt und das Toilettenpapier war auch leider vergriffen :-( Das Essen an sich war super lecker bis auf einige wenige von oben verbrannte Kartoffeln Potential nach oben aber definitiv vorhanden.

Absolut „tolles“ Personal vor Ostern, wir wollten 30 Minuten vor Ladenschluss nur einen Sanddorn Spritz in der Abendsonne trinken. Mit der Begründung das wäre zu viel Arbeit durften wir wieder gehen. Absoluter Saftladen, macht einen großen Bogen darum!

Tolle Lage direkt an der Seebrücke, das Essen war sehr gut, guter Kontakt zum Service , vor allem Jan ist ein Typ der seinen Job lebt. Es hat Spaß gemacht. Auch die digitale Bestellung und Bezahlung war eine neue und gute Ergahrung in einem doch sonst rückständigen Land , was die Digitalisierung betrifft.

Das Beste ist die Lage und der schöne Meerblick! Nettes Personal jedoch komplett unterbesetzt. Die Küche nicht leistungsfähig. Einfache Bestellungen (über 30 Minuten für eine Suppe und Waffeln) außer Getränke benötigen extrem lange. Belgische Waffeln werden aus so wenig Teig hergestellt das man diese nur noch als “Teig Siebe“ zeichnen konnte …. eine Loch Waffel - nichts gemein mit Belgischen Waffeln . Die ThaiCurry Suppe schmackhaft aber kaum Einlage.

Wir werden hier erst gar nicht essen gehen. Wir hatten uns (verkehrswidrig) in die lange hofseitige Zufahrt gestellt um kurz ein Foto von der Seebrücke zu machen. Die Zufahrt war aber nicht blockiert. Der Inhaber hat uns dann zugeparkt und war nicht willens sein Auto zu bewegen. Angeblich sei die Batterie leer. Angebot durch uns es mit einem Starthilfekit zu probieren oder gemeinsam zu schieben wurde abgelehnt. Als ich dann an der Tür geklopft habe um eine einvernehmliche Lösung zu finden wurde mir Hausverbot erteilt, er würde die Polizei rufen. Das habe ich dann aufgrund der nachweislichen Nötigung selbst erledigt.

Unkompliziert und ein bisschen chaotisch. 😉😃 Einfach herrlich und gemütlich.

Das Essen und das Getränk grundsätzlich gut, ich hatte die Fischsuppe. Allerdings wurden wir anscheinend vergessen zu bedienen nach der Bestellaufnahme. Kurios die Ausrede über irgend etwas was angeblich nicht ausgedruckt wurde....na ja, jedenfalls hatten wir nach einer dreiviertel Stunde immer noch kein Essen und unmittelbar danach auch der Wunsch nach Majo souce wurde einfach ignoriert

Als Tourist genießt man hier keinen Service eher Unfreundlichkeit und Ignoranz. Das Essen nicht durch gegart ,der Kakao schon kalt serviert und die Bedienung nicht Kritik fähig ,war der Besuch ein Fauxpas. Obendrauf kein Toilettenpapier , keine Seife -interessiert auch niemanden!!

Bestellung per QR-Code spart Wartezeit - gute Idee und ohne Probleme nutzbar. Aber der Backfisch für 10,90 ist lediglich ein 50g TK-Fischstäbchen mit viel Garnitur. An jeder Fischbude gibt es ein bessere Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis… sorry!

Da man hier NUR über Handy bestellen kann, kann ich nichts zum Essen sagen. Ich möchte in einem Cafe meine Bestellungen bei einem richtigen Menschen aufgeben. Ansonsten kann ich mir meinen Kaffee auch an einem Kaffeestand holen. Schade, daß man überall genötigt wird, mit dem Handy zu agieren. Da ich das nicht möchte, hab ich auch nichts bestellt. So etwas unterstütze ich nicht. Aber was gut ist, Hunde sind willkommen.

The food was okay – €18 for a veggie burger – considering the location by the sea – I think that's okay. The taste wasn't really my thing – and the burger was very dry, but with ketchup and Aperol to wash it down, it was fine. There was also only one vegetarian dish on the menu. The staff could be a bit friendlier! But the view of the sea and the hustle and bustle on the promenade made the visit worthwhile.

Some of the food is very good and freshly prepared. The burger is the best, where special requests were accommodated. The rigatoni with bolognese, on the other hand, is a joke, completely overpriced, and a complete disappointment in both appearance and taste. The quantity was more suited to a toddler. The drinks were okay, and the chocolate shake was very tasty. The staff was abysmal; one seemed to be in a very bad mood, his expression consistently grumpy, while the other was very friendly but obviously very disorganized. The tablecloths and upholstery inside were very stained with food leftovers from the previous occupant, or the one before that? The toilet was okay, and the hand basin was really something else; I hadn't seen it before (positive). All in all, good for a short stay.

We only stopped here for a drink. Very nice atmosphere by the pier. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice music. Only the menu was very worn, and the white pages were very brown. It could be reprinted more often.

We wanted to start a lovely day at the beach in Göhren with a coffee at 10am and ended up here. An elderly couple had already had their coffee and the door was wide open. When the waiter saw us, he shouted harshly at us: it's still closed. Behind us, another couple just wanted a coffee. Yes, I understand that if the place doesn't open until 11am, you have to wait. BUT: that's not service. A couple is being served. And we're not? Why can't they serve drinks at that time when the waiter is there? Doesn't Rügen need its holidaymakers? For us, unfortunately, it was further proof that Germany is a service desert.

No flavor, very bland. The table was sticky. Everything came from the microwave.

The food was so-so. It looked well-presented, but the taste left much to be desired. The staff didn't understand German very well, nor could they speak it well. They also had trouble with proximity/distance; they leaned quite far over the table, which can be very uncomfortable for some people. The ambiance was very nice, being right by the sea, but the music in the shop/on the terrace was very loud.

Beautiful location, delicious food, but the service was downright rude. No "please, I'll bring it," "enjoy your meal," it was delicious. The service consisted of two girls with black hair (probably sisters) who simply threw the plates on the table. The manager came to take the bill and listed our drinks. Then he gave us a screen that displayed: "How much are you giving us for tipping? 5%, 10%, 15%." Never before. I was so shocked and pressed 5%. Afterward, I was really angry with myself. They simply didn't deserve a penny.

Great location right on the beach, with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The food (crispy schnitzel and black tiger prawns with two dips) was excellent, as was the cocktail (mojito). The staff was really friendly; there was nothing to complain about. The only negative point is that we had to wait a bit longer to order and pay, even though the place wasn't too crowded and five employees were able to chat in the entrance area (which wasn't a big deal for us, and catching up with colleagues is now part of everyday working life). When ordering, we were kindly informed that we could have ordered online at our table, but not every guest has their cell phones with them on vacation. Nevertheless, once again: Very, very nice, friendly staff! If you're spending time in Göhren, you should stop by the Übersee restaurant; it's worth it.

Everything looks good and fancy...but that doesn't mean it tastes the same. My husband had eggshells in his order, and in general, everything tasted more like processed food than freshly cooked. Among other things, everything was lukewarm. The drinks had almost no carbonation. The prices are definitely too high for this quality. The service was attentive, but also not really on the ball. But the view was great.

Oh dear... first the positive: The food we got was really quite good (ocean bowl, schnitzel, fish soup, avocado salmon crostini). But: The service is truly abysmal. When we sat down, we were greeted with cats and asked for drinks (so far, that was fine). They arrived, but unfortunately only half full. The Spezi was warm and still. Then nothing happened. Then I saw the QR code with the hint that you could order faster that way (this could have been communicated right at the beginning). So I ordered (it went well), then the man with the dreadlocks came and told me they were out of flammkuchen (also fine). So I changed my order. Everything was fine, but then suddenly all the main courses arrived, and immediately after (!), the appetizers (one too many). Since when do main courses come before appetizers??? I also declined an appetizer (I hadn't ordered it that way), then the waiter came to the table and argued. I definitely didn't order it, and the appetizer wasn't on the table yet (cold crostini), so it could have been sent back to the kitchen. But I've never had a guest give in (obviously misunderstood my order). It was all very unpleasant! I was annoyed and just wanted to leave. That left a very bad taste in my mouth; we definitely won't be back!

Very attentive, prompt, and extremely friendly service. The food is absolutely outstanding. I really appreciated the wider selection of children's dishes (e.g., rice pudding, etc.); children's cutlery was also provided. For the very tasty and truly unique food (not your average fare, definitely try the burgers; the salad was also excellent) in a charming location, I found the prices reasonable (I would have even paid more).

A cup of coffee with a view and arrogant-seeming waiters. There could be more here if the guest were more welcome. I didn't like it there, except for the view.

Unfortunately, one star is too many. The menu was only available upon request, and there was nothing else to choose from. The staff was busy serving acquaintances. We didn't even get a chance to order. After a 30-minute wait, we left hungry. Thank you for the experience.

Five of us ate there, and everything was great. The staff is super friendly and the prices are fair. They have a wide selection of food and drinks, including a fantastic ice cream selection. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea and is right on the promenade. I recommend it to anyone who's ever at the beach in Göhren.

The location is great, the food is excellent, and the staff is attentive. Unfortunately, the owner doesn't exude much friendliness, even though he's very nice. A smile can work wonders! The restaurant is still highly recommended.

The food was delicious, the wait times were okay, and the ambiance was also very nice since we were able to sit right by the sea. The staff was friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed as we had to ask them several times that we wanted to pay, as we had to wait at least 15 minutes (just to pay). Otherwise, a very solid restaurant with a large selection of food, snacks, sweets, and more.

Unfortunately, the Aperol with Prosecco wasn't sparkling at all. Location and service were good!

After waiting 20 minutes for our coffee, and the tables next to us, who were served later, were already served theirs—and we weren't even noticed—we asked where the coffee was. The unfriendly waitress pointed out that the place was very busy. Another 10 minutes later, we asked at the counter where the coffee was. The flippant reply: "Oh, something must have gone wrong." We left. Arrogant, rude staff.

Beautifully located on the beach promenade. Super dog-friendly staff! The whole plaice was perfectly fried. Crispy and delicious! One of the few restaurants where I've eaten such good fish. The currywurst and schnitzel were also extremely delicious. We visited the restaurant twice because it was so good. Cocktails aren't the strong point here. With alcohol, it was strong, like at least three cocktails, and the one without didn't taste particularly balanced. All in all, highly recommended!

Were lucky to spontaneously get a table for 9 people to grab a quick coffee and cake. The location was lovely if also a bit loud and the service personal very friendly if also due to the high demand as we dined there a bit forgetful so we had to wait a bit longer for two ordered items after also requesting them again. But that can happen. Really can recommend the Sanddorn ice cream! Super tasty. Sadly not or only one vegan option (falafel burger). Would have been great to get some vegan cake. Maybe next time!

We were at this place during coffee time. It was quite busy, but we were lucky to get a table. After it took a few minutes for the waiter to bring us two menus, we were finally able to order. The coffee and latte were okay, the mixed fruit ice cream was "Ideal Standard," three scoops of canned fruit—nothing special or unusual. The waiter seemed overwhelmed by the crowd and seemed listless and unfriendly. It's a shame, considering the restaurant is right on the promenade and boasts a beautiful view. Unfortunately, this was our last time there.

We arrived there on a cold, windy day and ordered a hot drink. Everything tasted good, we had a nice seat overlooking the sea and the waves, and the service was nice, too.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben über 50 Minuten auf unser Eis gewartet – für ein Café, das nicht überfüllt war, ist das in der Nebensaispn einfach zu lang. Auf Nachfrage kam als Entschädigung eine Kugel Zitroneneis. Das Eis selbst war den Preis eines Eisbechers nicht wert . Schade, wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Besuch gefreut.

Service staff that are unfriendly to customers and tourists is unacceptable. What happened: on May 23, 2025, at around 11:20 a.m., several elderly people had already sat down on the outdoor terrace of Café Übersee when a heavy and prolonged shower suddenly came down. The door to Café Übersee was open, and the elderly people tried to quickly get somewhere dry. The regular opening time is 11:30 a.m., so 10 minutes later, when the people sought shelter, they were asked by the service staff to leave the café and thus stood in the rain for 10 minutes. After the café had opened, I spoke to the service staff about this unacceptable situation, but they became even more cheeky and impertinent. They didn't want to be lectured and advised me to leave the café. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't there yet. Even though I might visit Café Übersee again in the future because the outdoor area and the view of the pier are very beautiful, I will definitely not be tipping these service staff again.

The staff was very friendly and prompt. You can bring your dog inside. There's a beautiful view of the beach and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, there's almost no vegan food available, just salad and a chip-like alternative to fries. These tasted good and were nice and crispy. No vegan hot chocolate available, no vegan dessert, and no vegan mayo. Right on the beach promenade.

I also have to say, the first impression of the staff was derogatory, arrogant and not at all accommodating. The first rays of sunshine attracted many visitors to the Göhren, but the “waiter” made you feel: you want something according to my rules. Sad for this cafe as it's my first and last visit. We also heard how a customer wanted to use the toilets for a fee. The waiter said no, the spa administration had built nice toilets and the customer explained that they were almost inaccessible today and she asked for them. The waiter had no pity. It's a shame, I thought it was justified: If Rügen then Göhren.

After a detour to Nordperd, we ate the focaccia from the daily menu and loved it. Super tasty and well prepared. The friendly service is also good, but the industrial style of the toilets takes some getting used to. The copper sink is still okay, but this half-glass pee tub doesn't work at all. Sorry, it's 2025.

Oh, that was pleasant! Today was the first day of vacation. A strong east wind, foaming waves, flags flapping. Enjoying the spectacle, comfortably protected behind glass in the front row, and treating myself to delicacies. A nicely spicy currywurst, plenty of sauce, so even the fries could be dipped in it. A creamy virgin colada and a latte to finish. The staff took the most pleasant care of me. So, the vacation can continue.

We decided to have coffee and cake right on the beach. The waffles were very tasty and value for money was very good. The service was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay because of the view.

The service was very courteous and friendly. It was very comfortable and the view was unique. We ate what we thought was the best cheesecake in the world there. With elderberry topping. When we asked, they took their time and confirmed to us that it was baked in-house. A big plus. We would be happy to come back and thank you for the friendly welcome.

Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es war sehr gemütlich und die Aussicht einmalig. Wir haben dort den für uns weltbesten Cheesecake gegessen. Mit Holundertopping. Auf Nachfrage wurde sich Zeit genommen und uns bestätigt das dieser selbst gebacken wird. Ein großes Plus. Wir kommen gerne wieder und danken für den freundlichen Empfang.

Degrading staff! "You" doesn't work at all, especially if you use the wrong tone! We would have liked to have coffee and cake! We wanted to drink a coffee and eat a scoop of ice cream without ordering a sundae from the menu. Unfortunately, the extremely inflexible waiter couldn't find a way to do this, other than "You'll have to get it yourself. There's the same ice cream in our sundaes." Exactly, but we only wanted one scoop. We then reluctantly got a scoop “to go”. Admittedly it was very tasty, but the service took a lot of getting used to.

We had rainy weather and just wanted a coffee, but then decided on something nutritious and we definitely weren't disappointed, it was cozy, the staff were attentive and friendly. There is something on the menu for everyone and our food was really delicious, we recommend it.
