Even upon arrival, the welcome was a bit strange. Friendliness or warmth? None. The food came quickly and tasted okay, but definitely nothing special – more average. After the meal, things got really unpleasant. No one came to the table, no one asked, no offer of dessert or another drink – just complete disinterest. Only after what felt like an eternity did they notice we were finished and someone came to bring the bill. Conclusion: The location is the only positive thing. The rest was disappointing – from the reception to the service. For me, it's clear: never again. And honestly, I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. On the contrary – if someone asked me for a tip in the area, I'd rather advise against it. – what a shame!

The food came fairly quickly and tasted okay, but certainly nothing special. After that, however, everything went downhill: No one asked if we liked it. No one asked if we wanted anything else. We would have liked another chai or ordered dessert – but we simply weren't given the opportunity. Instead, we were completely ignored. Our empty plates sat on the table for over 20 to 30 minutes without anyone paying attention. Not a glance, not a word, not a smile. I had to raise my hand several times to even get the bill. This kind of indifference and lack of attention is simply disrespectful and absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant of this price range. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I felt like I was treated differently—and significantly worse—as a German guest with a Turkish partner. This repeated experience casts a very negative light on the restaurant. Conclusion: Average food, terrible service. Warmth and hospitality are nonexistent. Anyone who values ​​respectful treatment should definitely avoid this restaurant.

Tugra is a viable alternative to the neighboring Greek restaurant Ach! Niko!, which has also been run by Turks since last year. I took 2 knafe, one was good and the second was overcooked, even the pistachio couldn't hide it, a double feeling about this place. The inside was full of customers, our table was reserved, I hesitated to choose the soup, I chose the tripe soup, believe me, it is a legendary taste, those who know me know that I have visited all 81 provinces of Turkey, they see me as an expert in local flavors, people around me ask me where to eat, so start with the tripe soup at Tuğra, it is very successful, 10 full points, then we preferred the mixed grill plate. The meat was very tasty, the marination was nice, the cooking degree was great, in short it was super. We didn't want dessert because I am diabetic. By the way, there is brewed tea, it was also delicious. From now on, when I go to Berlin, Tuğra Restaurant will be my first and only choice. Now the shop has actually become nicer without the porch. In the front you can make a nice front garden. Food tastes good, portions could be a little bigger (at least for men) and prices could be a little lower, then you would come more often. But very nicely located in the good Halensee.

We wanted to end a relaxing time in a private sauna from "My Wellnes" on the Kudamm with a delicious meal in the "Tugra" directly opposite. When we entered the restaurant, which was still almost empty at that time, around 6 p.m. and asked for a table for two people, we were greeted with frowns and the information that we were very well booked today, but were then given a table right at the entrance. The drinks came quickly and the menu seemed promising. The dishes we chose, we chose the starter and main course, took a long time to arrive and were unfortunately just plain tasteless across the board.
