Wir empfehlen dieses Lokal weiter! Super nette Bedienung und das Essen war Mega lecker! Ob es Gyros mit Metaxa sosse oder Knoblauchbrot, alles super! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen lieben dank.

Wir waren am Sonntag den 10.03.2025 mittags zum Essen im Troja und waren doch sehr enttäuscht nachdem wir vorher die Bewertungen gelesen hatten. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, jedoch das Essen schmeckte nicht. Bei den Lammkoteletts fehlte der Knoblauch, überhaupt Gewürze. Das Zaziki war ein fettarmer Joghurt ohne Geschmack. Bei der Gyrospfanne mit Metaxasoße fehlte der Metaxa und die Würze. Alles in Allem: Preis Leistung unterirdisch.

Gestern waren wir in Troja essen. Super Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen. Preis-Leistung super!

Wir haben einen angenehmen Abend mit leckerem Essen und köstlichen Getränken verbracht, der Service war immer unaufdringlich präsent. Jederzeit gerne wieder 😋

Excellent food and great, courteous service!

My food was 😋, my companion's was not as they remembered it the first time. As the saying goes... "Error is human" There was a mess when it came to paying, it would have been easy if the cashier had come to the table with the entire bill and each couple had announced their orders and then paid. 8 months ago I was at the Troja restaurant for the first time and was a little dissatisfied. I'm now a regular there because a lot of what I wrote before (payment) has changed in my assessment. The food is still very, very good. I can recommend the Troja restaurant with a good heart. Another little tip...it's a good idea to make a table reservation by phone as it's very busy, especially on weekends 😉

Very tasty food, the waitresses are all very friendly and accommodating. The range of dishes is large and the restaurant is very clean. The ambience is very nice. Absolute distance. I will always book there in the future.

Moderate food a lot fat in the meat

We had dinner there on my birthday...on a recommendation. I had the grill plate. The liver was dry, the pork was too raw, the other piece was too dry and I bit on raw onions on the minced steak. The skewer was full of tendons and totally dry and tough, the tzatziki was tasteless and bland! I didn't even eat a third of everything. The side salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and cabbage with a teaspoon of dressing. On everything, including the fries, a spice that I can't define and didn't fit at all. The only thing that was good was Taramas, although it didn't include brown bread, but rather Baquette. Unfortunately a disappointment for my 60th birthday. The only highlight was the amazing staff, absolutely!!!!

Highly recommended. The journey there is worth it. Very polite and attentive service, very tasty food, good portions. The price-performance ratio is therefore completely acceptable. The details such as good tablecloths, beautiful decorations, etc. are all just right. We'd love to come back.

The owner Beniamino is a nice person, very friendly and very helpful with experience, the restaurant presents itself as a Greek restaurant, the food is purely Greek but thanks to the experience of the Chef it is also possible to make variations on the dishes. The venue is beautiful and welcoming and also presents itself well for large events. The price/quality ratio is excellent. We had a great time and will be back soon. Thanks to all the Staff. Abbiamo Organizzato un pranzo di lavoro in questo ristorante l´accoglienza é stata buona immediatamente, parlano in italiano, inglese e tedesco. Il titolare Beniamino é una persona simpatica molto cordiale molto disponibile di esperienza, il ristorante si presenta come un ristorante Greco il cibo e prettamente Greco ma grazie all´esperienza dello Chef si possono effettuare anche varianti sui piatti. Il locale e´ bello ed accogliente e si presenta bene anche per grandi eventi. Il rapporto prezzo qualitá é ottimo. Ci siamo trovati bene e presto ritorneremo. Grazie a tutto lo Staff. Stayed with you today, everything was great

We had dinner with the family and my partner in September for my mother's 50th birthday. There was excellent food! Unfortunately there is no vegetarian main course on the menu, but the staff made sure that my partner and I had a very good and filling vegetarian main course - quite naturally and without any problems. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed even though it was completely full. My mother received a birthday serenade, everyone was more than full and happy. Gladly again! P.S.: The waiters can speak several languages ​​and one of them noticed that we spoke Russian and from then on actually served in Russian. We thought it was really cool.

The staff looked after us so well ! A bus load of Aussies in need of a good feed rocked up on the doorstep with next to no notice and they welcomed us all in and prepared an amazing meal for all 48 of us! 10/10

Fish platter for two people. There was also a salad and, with the fish, a plate of fries with rice. It couldn't be done. Since the ownership changed, the quality of the food has been very good. 👍 The other dishes are also high quality and made with love. I also recommend the Bifteki menu, which I have already ordered twice. This menu is also difficult to manage. The service is also excellent. The restaurant is always very busy. It's best to reserve a table in advance. The ambience was always good, even with the previous owner. The house used to be a beer garden with its own brewed beer. The brewery is to the right of the restaurant, but is no longer in operation. Before that it was a farm with an inn and nostalgic owners. You weren't allowed to complain, otherwise you'd be thrown out of the inn.

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich die positiven Bewertungen gar nicht nachvollziehen kann. Personal war grundsätzlich freundlich, allerdings konnte nur einer deutsch sprechen, die anderen englisch oder gar nicht. Es gab nicht eine Frau unter den Mitarbeitern, dafür aber einen "Herrentisch", an dem sich auch die Bedienungen regelmäßig aufgehalten haben. In Verbindung mit dem Spanischen Wein (griechischen gab es (zumindest an dem Abend nicht), den man auch im Netto kaufen kann (Preis war natürlich trotzdem der eines Restaurants), vermute ich stark, dass zwar das Essen griechisch anmutet, das war es dann aber auch. Wir mussten auf alles sehr lang warten, eine Vorspeise wurde gar nicht geliefert, dafür sehr freundlich später doppelt nachgereicht. Die Portionen waren groß, allerdings schmeckten Salatsoßen, und Cocktailsoße im Shrimpsalat nicht selbstgemacht. Einrichtung und Deko sind wild durcheinander. Uns hat es gar nicht gefallen, und wir werden auch nicht wiederkommen.

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately that was it... Spanish wine with a Greek - not possible. I have seen the same wine much cheaper online. It took a very long time for the food to arrive. The sauces reminded me of "supermarket sauces". The waiters, with the exception of one, did not speak German. And various other things bothered us... I can't prove it, of course, but I'm pretty convinced that someone with a different nationality is trying to be Greek. Absolutely not successful for our conditions. Never again!! I'm very sorry, I would have liked to rate it better. But the positive reviews don't make sense to me.

A very good restaurant with very nice staff and a large selection of food. It is my personal favorite restaurant and I eat there whenever I have the opportunity.

The restaurant is very hidden, you have to look closely to find it. The ambience is very nice and the staff is friendly. The food... Well, the fries were in the fryer for far too long, some of the meat was fried dry. The soups were very tasty. Since we asked for our opinion, we were given a scoop of Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts as an apology. That was also delicious. We probably won't go there a second time.

Perfect service from the beginning (holding the door open) to the end. Friendly, courteous and quick, even though the restaurant was very busy. Food (garlic bread, souvlaki and liver) very tasty, beautifully prepared and served hot. Drinks (red wine and white wine as well as ouzo) also delicious. Price-performance ratio is right and absolutely justified. The restaurant is very cozy and chic inside. The waitresses were all friendly, quick but not hectic, very accommodating and polite. If we lived around here it would definitely be a favorite restaurant!

Today we were at the Troja Restaurant with 4 adults and 4 children. Great atmosphere, great staff and the food was great. Very accommodating and left nothing to be desired. We'll be back... Thank you!

A little under-spiced but otherwise very tasty food. But there is pepper and salt on the table. Service is super nice and friendly. The Trojan horse is an eye-catcher.

The negative first, the gyro was not a gyro. They were half a centimeter thick, indescribable greasy something. It was by far the worst gyro we were ever served. The staff was friendly and nice. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Personally, I wouldn't eat there again.

It was a unique experience. From the service to the food to the ambience. Never before have I experienced such a diligent staff that cares so much about the guests. The food was extremely tasty, a good price/performance ratio. I can only say: CHAPEAU!!! We will definitely come back.

Nice ambiente, especially in summer and for families with children. Large garden with Trojan Horse replica. Rice was a bit bland, so were the fries. Bifteki was juicy but lacking in feta. Service was good though somewhat pushy.

I was in the restaurant for the first time today and definitely not the last time. The service was very, very friendly!!! I was asked a few times if everything was OK, the salad dressing was personally draped over the salad at the table by the service and I was asked if it was enough. I had Jägerschnitzel with 🍟 fries and hunter sauce. The schnitzels (2) were well breaded, the sauce was creamy with lots of mushrooms and the French fries were very tasty, everything was ok for the price. Finally, I got an ouzu and a (small) dessert on the house of Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts. I can only recommend this restaurant and wish you all the best, I am a trained chef myself. You can also pay with EC card in this restaurant.

One of the best, no, the best Greek in Germany. As far as service and ambience are concerned, excellent. Very exquisite dishes. Athenian meat platter and fried liver were served with good wine. The staff, always attentive and friendly. You have the feeling of being able to let go of everyday life. Highly recommended?

We were in Lahnstein at the weekend and spontaneously stopped by. There is only absolutely positive things to report! The service was so friendly and courteous that we haven't experienced it in other restaurants for a long time and the food was incredibly tasty. Anyone who is nearby should definitely not eat anything there. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair.

I had the squid and was surprised at how great it was. Not only is the food itself excellent, I also found the team to be very friendly and attentive. And if you think the prices are high, you should still give it a try. Afterwards everyone should be convinced that the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We were there on a Sunday at 6 p.m. and the restaurant was pretty full, so we had to wait between 20 minutes and an hour for drinks and food, but the quality of the food and the ability to accommodate special requests made up for it 😉

Troja is a cozy, warm, lovingly furnished Greek-style property in the countryside on the Lahnhöhe, which we have been visiting regularly for years. Birdsong on the outside terrace and nothing else. Beautiful, solid furnishings inside... Anna, the owner and her husband, both with Greek roots, gave up the cocaine...they will be sorely missed... The food is no longer exactly like in Greece, the side salad is no longer coleslaw but a small portion of mixed salad... Overcrowded on Sunday evening, dirty tablecloth, dying houseplant, no more typical Greek dessert... ..but: really very friendly service... ...well unfortunately...now there's a lot of room for improvement....Anna, you're missed...

I would like to give even more stars for the service. I have rarely experienced such excellent service. Since I'm pregnant and have to pay attention to what I eat, the waiter took a photo of the sheep's cheese packaging for me. Everyone else was very accommodating. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere felt like you were on vacation. The outdoor area is also very nicely designed. If we didn't live so far away, we would definitely come here more often! :) Paying by card wasn't a problem for us either. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Eine tolle griechische Atmosphäre, man könnte glatt auf Kreta sitzen. Der Service schnell und sehr freundlich. Die Karte nicht zu groß, was wir gut finden. Die Preise eher gehoben . Es schmeckt , wie es beim Griechen schmecken muss. Aber nicht außergewöhnlich, einfach so, wie man es erwartet. Der Dorfteller für 23,50 Euro mit Salat, Reis und Pommes . Das Gyros war für mich nicht kross genug , teils zu fettreich und nicht ganz durchgebraten. Der Suflakispieß lecker und zart, das Steak etwas weniger zart. Pommes etwas überwürzt , für mich persönlich. Doch trotzdem ein schönes Restaurant, innen und außen. Wir werden wiederkommen, denn es hat geschmeckt, war reichlich und Preise sind überall erhöht worden.

Wir waren zum Geschäftsessen mit vier Personen vor Ort. Separat wurde das Essen von einem von uns bezahlt. Das Rückgeld von über 3 € wurde gleich beim Kassieren einbehalten, als vielleicht Trinkgeld. Es war jedoch ein Geschäftsessen und musste entsprechend abgerechnet werden, so dass mit dem anstehenden Getränken, dass Trinkgeld von uns gerne gegeben hätte!! Es geht nicht ums Geld sondern einfach nur ums Prinzip. Da wir deutschlandweit auch gerne stets beim Griechen einkehrten, gab es auch stets ein Begrüßungs Ouzo oder beim Abschied einen Ouzo. Auch hier geht es nicht ums Geld sondern ums Prinzip, denn hier gab es reinweg nichts.

We were there with 4 people for a business lunch. Unfortunately, when we paid, the tip was withheld, which really disturbed and annoyed me personally. We would have liked to have tipped more when paying for private drinks. Unfortunately, we learned from our further visits to Greek restaurants across Germany that we were handed an ouzo at the beginning with a greeting or a farewell at the end when we paid. For us it's not about the money but about the principle and hospitality, a shame

We ate there with 6 people on August 17, 2024. Very nice facility with a Trojan horse. The food was good, but if I had gone to the toilet first I would have lost my appetite. One toilet had no glasses, the other was not particularly clean and the third was completely smeared with dried feces. There were no hooks for a jacket or bag either. We asked the waiter about it, he was very friendly and said there were families with children there, hence this situation. I think we could still have checked the toilets, there wasn't that much going on during our stay. I was really disgusted afterwards.

Food was good. Unfortunately an ingredient was missing from the plate and we passed that on. By the time it came we had already finished eating. We gave drinks for free. But all in all, a wait that was far too long. Almost an hour before the food even came. And the bill only came after three requests.

You can find the meaning of the word “kindness” there. What I experienced there is only 25% of what I wish I had in other restaurants. The staff is very friendly, polite and accommodating. The food is amazing, freshly prepared and hard to compare with other Greeks. I live 100 km away and was there for work, but I will probably drive this route more often now for further visits.

We got stranded there by chance and were absolutely thrilled. My partner had Argentine king prawns, which were prepared in an incredibly delicious sauce. I had a special request for my grill plate, which was completely implemented to my absolute satisfaction. Instead of liver I wanted bifteki, it was incredibly large and very tasty. The atmosphere is just super sweet and romantic. I found the service so accommodating and friendly, we really enjoyed it, so we'll be happy to come back

Absolute recommendation! The waitresses are incredibly nice and attentive. All wishes were taken into account. The food is relatively expensive, but high quality and very tasty!
