It was a really great day. The food is fantastic, the service is a dream, and everything else is great too. Again and again.

Very friendly service and very tasty food 👌

I almost expect kitsch from the Greeks. Here, however, it is extremely cheesy. The service seems and is absolutely uncoordinated. A new waiter constantly comes by and asks if you have already ordered. As a result, we waited 1 hour for our food. Only when asked was everything seemingly quickly thrown into the deep fryer and brought. Unfortunately, the salad was no longer fresh in places and the fries were totally limp. The rice was mushy. At the same time, very high prices are in stark contrast to the subterranean food and service quality. The restaurant probably benefits from the low competition location. Not recommended.

Very nice restaurant with great facilities. The food tasted very good, even though we had to wait a while. However, the very, very nice staff compensated us well for this. The restaurant is also suitable for families with children. We would definitely like to come back.

The food, here saganki and village plates, was of outstanding quality, especially the souvlaki were excellent. What should also be highlighted is the very courteous service and the impeccable service. Personally, I also found the ambience very pleasant, but I can imagine that the murals with scenes from the Trojan War may not be to everyone's taste. But be that as it may, it is a restaurant and not an art temple. We will come back in any case.

Good food and a beautiful location

We picked up food, so it wasn't always comparable to what we got there, but the taste was unfortunately very manageable for the price. Staff very friendly!

Greek restaurant Troja is a bit hidden. But what a picture! The large wooden horse dominates the place with a cozy terrace, friendly service and delicious food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended! We were very satisfied!!!

Tisch bestellt. Leider nur noch draußen Platz. War windig und kühl. Lange auf Bedienung, Getränke, Bestellung und aufs Essen gewartet. Anderthalb Stunden sind definitiv zu lange. Essen war auch nur noch lauwarm. Schade

Reserviert für 17:30 Uhr, um 18 Uhr endlich Getränke, 5 Essen ca. 19:10 Uhr, 6. Essen ca. 19:20 Uhr. Falsche Getränke gebracht, ein Bier nur 2/3 voll, 2 Flaschen Wasser am Tisch zerbrochen bzw. umgeworfen, falsches Wasser gebracht, 4 oder 5 Tische wurden nach uns besetzt, bekamen das Essen aber bis zu 45 Min. früher. Bezahlen hat über eine halbe Stunde gedauert. Einzig positiv war: Essen hat gut geschmeckt!!!! Vielleicht testen wir das noch mal - es kann ja nur besser werden!!!

Everything is fine, everything is fine!

After four visits and four different dishes, I can give a comprehensive assessment. Every single dish was excellent. From the special gyros pan, to the pork loin in Metaxa sauce and bifteki, to the rump steak in red wine sauce, everything was very, very tasty. The tzatziki, the taramas as well as the garlic bread and the baked feta are also highly recommended. But apart from the quality of the food, the service is very courteous, attentive and very friendly. Immediately after my first visit, they noticed what I was drinking and asked me about it on the second visit. Flexible table configurations, or a friendly greeting from the kitchen, as well as an ouzo or espresso on the house were mandatory. Every visit is rounded off by the ambience. Very lovingly and charmingly designed outdoor area, a dream when the weather is nice. I felt completely comfortable and am also absolutely satisfied with the prices. It's rare to have such good service.

Somewhat remote / hidden on the edge of the forest, between Lahnstein and the Lahnhöhe Clinic. Food delicious. But salad was with vinegar and oil instead of Thousand Island dressing (the correct sauce was added upon request). Good and fast service. Price is reasonable. All in all, good grade!

I have never received such friendly and courteous service in a restaurant. You feel like a friend of the house, not like a paying guest. The food is fresh and delicious and people even ask for special requests. The interior furnishings and the wonderful outdoor area are totally inviting. I can recommend Troy 1000%.

Had dinner there yesterday with 3 people. The restaurant is very nice both inside and outside, it also has a beautiful view. The food is really very good, this is the second time I've been there and I can say it always tastes very good. I always have one of the mixed grill plates at the Greek restaurant and everything tastes great here and everyone should try the gyros. It's definitely the best thing I've ever eaten, it tasted just as good as the first time, big praise to them Kitchen. The waitresses and waiters are also really great, there are several of them and everyone is very polite and accommodating so that you really feel comfortable from start to finish, many thanks to all of you, we'll be back👍👍👍👍👍👍

Four of us had dinner on a Sunday evening without a reservation. We were greeted and served very courteously. The appetizers ordered were added “on the house” and served as a large platter with fireworks at the table. Great! We'd love to come back.

Nice place to stay, attentive staff and good Mediterranean cuisine! Large beer garden with shaded areas for relaxing even with larger groups and children!

Unfortunately there are no 6 stars. Otherwise they would have more than deserved it. We've been eating there or getting takeaway for years. Always very, very nice and accommodating. There is no better and nicer restaurant like this. Everyone has to try it, it's worth it. We are very happy that we have such a great Greek here in Lahnstein. From service to food, everything is great. Always happy to come there again. Thank you for the delicious food.

Nie mehr. Dreckige Tischdecke gegen andere dreckige Tischdecke umtauschen, auf das Essen 1 und halbe Stunde warten, unaufmerksames Personal, durachnitliche Essen. Beim Beschwerde hat sich der Herr umgedreht und ist weggegangen. Schöne Aussicht ist nicht alles. Definitiv gar nicht zu empfehlen.

What a wonderful evening we had in this great restaurant. Upon entering we felt like real VIPs. guests. The staff is extremely friendly and pays full attention to you. The food was delicious! Despite “Full House,” people were always watching everywhere. Service is very important here! The quality of the food was excellent. Everything to the point! Very tasty dishes and lovingly and thoughtfully prepared - an absolute recommendation: gyros with Metaxa sauce and also the bifteki. In addition, the ambience is very authentic and with lots of details it is simply something to look at. The options to sit outside are also great. Definitely recommended! We are already looking forward to the next evening!

So first of all, it was perfect Starting from the great staff to the great starter (ouzo plate) for 2 people and then this main course 😍😍😍 a dream, the lamb plate and the liver 👍🏻🫶🏻 a dream. Run by a new operator for around 8 months - this has made positive gains in all areas! Very friendly and attentive service, very tasty food, reasonable price/performance ratio. Great beer garden that invites you to relax outside. We'll definitely be back!

Ein sehr schönes griechisches Restaurant. Man fühlt sich sobald man den Bereich des Restaurants betritt wie in Griechenland. Sehr nette, höfliche und sehr serviceorientierte Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir werden im Sommer auf jeden Fall noch Mal wieder kommen, um das tolle Ambiente draußen zu genießen.

My food was 😋, my companion's was not like the first time, which they also very much regretted. There was a mess when it came to paying, it would have been easy if the cashier had come to the table with the entire bill and each couple had announced their orders and then paid.

An exceptional, first-class restaurant with PERFECT service and culinary highlights! This was our third time at Erin's restaurant Troja and we actually wanted to write a review last time... Well, first of all you have to note that this restaurant is not a "normal" Greek restaurant... The boss makes EVERYTHING possible, all special requests are fulfilled with great attention to detail and both the particularly good wines and the food leave nothing to be desired! Added to this is the great atmosphere of the restaurant and the extremely polite and attentive service! Conclusion: If you value Greek cuisine and a special experience, there is no alternative to the Troja restaurant in Lahnstein! 5 stars (6 would be better!!!)

The Greek restaurant absolutely delighted me with its delicious Hawaiian schnitzel, accompanied by crispy fries and fresh salad! The schnitzel was a real culinary delight. The friendly service and the cozy atmosphere rounded off my culinary experience perfectly. I can fully recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A top restaurant with Greek cuisine. Very attentive staff and very good cuisine.

We were at Troy Essen on two days. And we were thrilled both times. The service was great and very accommodating, and the food was just great. No matter whether it was the salads on the first evening or the bifteki on the second evening. The process between the courses was also very pleasant and was discussed with the guest. The farewell was said in person at the door. All little things that you won't forget and round off the evening pleasantly. It's just a shame that we were there on vacation. Otherwise we would become regular customers.

Still one of my favorite restaurants. The service, ambience and especially the food are excellent, which is why we often eat there when there is a special occasion or we just feel like delicious Greek food.

Enjoyed the delicious food again last weekend. Reservations are recommended, although they really make an effort to find you a seat. For a birthday, fireworks for dessert and a glass of bubbly on the house is certainly a service that shows their hospitality. The dishes are fresh and of good portions. Both Greek dishes and traditional German schnitzels are on the menu. Good price-quality ratio! We love coming back here every time.

First of all, it's all a matter of taste and this is just my opinion. I wasn't impressed with the restaurant at all. The waiter present was super friendly and patient, but the more people there were in the restaurant, the more difficult it became to order something or even pay. In the chaos, my sister was charged a little too much, which unfortunately only seemed strange to her and she noticed on the way home. I had the gyro plate and was only able to eat a few bites of the meat, fries were good. The meat was very dry and way too fatty for my taste. I personally wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't come back again.

I had the pleasure of visiting Troja Greek Restaurant yesterday and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was just great. I was particularly impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients, which was evident in every bite. It was clear that a lot of importance was placed on selecting the best products.

Ambience inside and outside and service excellent, embedded in beautiful pasture and forest landscape. Great recovery time. Eat: The owner has changed. Before the change the food was excellent. Well, for the first time with a new operator. Result: Devastating in the square Four different dishes, three of which were returned, one was eaten under protest because the guest was extremely hungry. My dish was removed from the bill by the waiter without my intervention. Court No. 62: “Baked gyros special, with Metaxa sauce” should be avoided. Gyros consisted of around 55% gristly, sinewy, rubbery “meat” and around 45% fat in different consistencies, so they were practically unfit for consumption and had a high disgust factor. No trace of over-baking, not even a hint. The sauce was liquid like water and could only be eaten with a spoon. Conclusion: Simply a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions in the catering industry. All four contemporary witnesses said they had never experienced this in any restaurant. I can't imagine that this is an isolated event. 4 different dishes, all with more or less the same result is statistically extremely questionable and disturbing. Price level at the highest level in comparison for Greek restaurants in the Koblenz area.
