Unfreundlich belehredes und anmaßendes Personal, obwohl kaum Gäste da waren nach 15min immer noch nicht bedient worden. Sind wieder gegangen gibt in Arnstadt andere Restaurants mit freundlichen Empfang

Vorfall am 04.07.2026: Wir waren gegen 21:20 Uhr da und der Laden war eigentlich noch bis 22:30 Uhr geöffnet und wir wollten lediglich eine Pizza bestellen. Der Laden war zu 1/3 gefüllt, also nicht wirklich viel los. Doch der Chef weigerte uns eine Pizza zu machen und hat uns weg geschickt. Sehr unfreundlich.

Waren heute ohne Reservierung um 20:45 Uhr hier. Wurden schon tendenziell genervt begrüßt. Nach über 10 Minuten am Tisch kamen die Speisekarten. Wir hatten schon online geguckt, und konnten somit direkt bestellen. Die Reaktion war ultra genervt. Haben ihm angeboten, woanders hinzugehen, wenn ihm unser Besuch zu stressig ist. Er fand die Idee toll und wir standen auf. Er erklärte uns noch, dass er ein stolzer Italiener sei, und wir nicht reserviert hätten. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Sitzen jetzt hier um die Ecke im „Restaurant Terrasse“, wurden von einem stolzen Türken freundlich begrüßt und freuen uns auf das Essen. 🥳

Der Kellner war leider sehr unfreundlich. Wir sind hungrig wieder gegangen.

Was für ein Laden , wer mal richtig schlecht bedient werden möchte, ist dort genau richtig ,aber das beste kommt noch , erst 2h auf das Essen warten & dann vom ausländischen Gastarbeiter mit einer top Laune belehrt zu werden. Früher hätte ich ihn durchs Lokal geschubst , aber wir werden ja ruhiger. Meidet den Laden, er macht euch nicht glücklich

Tolles Ambiente und sehr gute italienische Küche, sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Unhöflichkeit des Inhabers hat leider den ganzen Abend verdorben. Schade.

Super leckere Pizza und alles sehr italienisch. Besonders der Chef mit manchmal hitzigem Temperament. Manche können damit nicht umgehen, ich jedoch feier das jedes mal. Wenn man Pizza abholt gibts noch ein Getränkt (zumindest wenn man sich nicht wie der letzte Mensch benimmt) und das Ambiente ist schön dort. Rundum-Sorglos-Paket.

Nicht zu empfehlen!! War alleine um 1830, habe einen Salat und eine Pizza bestellt. Salat kam nach einer halben Stunde und dann nichts mehr. Er dachte ich wollte ihn an Vorspeise dabei habe ich nie was davon gesagt. Um 20 Uhr!!! bin ich ohne eine Pizza bekommen zu haben gegangen und musste mir noch Vorwürfe anhören und mich auf italienisch beschimpfen lassen. Habe heute erfahren dass mein Fall wohl kein Einzelfall war. In Arnstadt gilt die Trattoria wohl als No Go Restaurant. Für Gäste und Jobsuchenden.

Fantastisches Essen! Der gebratene Mozzarella (Vorspeise) war eines der besten Geschmackserlebnisse meines Lebens. Wow.

Immer wieder ein Fest hier zu Essen, sehr sehr lecker, super Ambiente und Service, immer wieder gerne. 🤗

Ein kleines aber feines Lokal, bei dem wir uns ein bisschen wie in Italien gefühlt haben. Die Kleinigkeiten machen es besonders (z. B. Aqua Panna aus der Toskana). Die Karte ist überschaubar, dafür ist jedes einzelne Essen phantastisch. Zusätzlich du den ausgewiesenen Speisen gab es noch Dorade, Linguini m. Steinpilzen/Riderfiletstreifen und Lamm. Was soll ich sagen - so gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Allein der Vorspeisenteller war der Wahnsinn. Als einzigen Punkt würde ich anführen, dass es eine etwas größere Auswahl alkoholfreier Getränke geben könnte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Wir waren gestern Abend bei Antonino und waren begeistert. Sehr schönes Anbiente, sehr nette Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen. Die Salamipizza und auch die gnocchis waren sehr gut. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und bekamen trotzdem einen schönen Tisch. An alle die sich hier über antonino aufregen: ich kenne ihn jetzt nun auch schon viele Jahre, wir waren früher schon oft in der Lessingstraße. Antonino muss man nehmen wie er ist. Das ist seine Art und er meint das gar nicht böse. 14.1.26 Heute wieder dagewesen. Antonino hat bedient und Pizza gemacht. Er war sehr freundlich, die Pizza kam schnell und war sehr gut. Ich kann das Restaurant wirklich nur empfehlen.

Soo gemütlich und herzlich habe ich das selten erlebt. Als wir ankamen war kein Tisch frei und doch wurde für uns ein Platz organisiert und wir bekamen das leckere Essen überhaupt. Wir mussten am nächsten Tag gleich wieder kommen, so gut war es. Auch Empfang und die Bedienung (Vater und Tochter) waren sehr sehr nett und Ambiente stimmte genau. Leider habe ich kein Bild von dem tollen Pizzaoffen, es war aber sehr schön zu sehen, wie das Essen zubereitet wird.

Ich hatte gestern Geburtstag und bin mit meiner Freundin essen gegangen. Wir haben uns leider etwas verspätet. Zuerst saßen wir eine halbe Stunde da, bis wir endlich bedient wurden. Als wir fertig waren, wollten wir das restliche Essen einpacken lassen und bezahlen. Nach 45 (!) Minuten kam der Chef, der auch selber kellnert, immernoch nicht an. Zwischendurch bin ich 2 mal vorgegangen und musste ihn darauf hinweisen, dass wir bezahlen wollen. Nachdem ich dann endgültig zum Bezahlen vor bin, wurde ich so angeschrien und beleidigt, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Wir haben das zu tun, was er sagt. Dann hat er mir solche aggressiven Blicke zugeworfen und schreit und beleidigt mich ununterbrochen und droht mir, dass ich nie wieder da hin soll. Das eingepackte Essen hat er mir auch nicht mitgegeben. Hier ist der Kunde definitiv nicht König. Völlig arroganter, unhöflicher und aggressiver Chef. Ich kann nur jedem davon abraten.

We had one of those special evenings that you won't soon forget: superb food, beautifully presented, and special requests were happily accommodated. Both the wine and the grappa were excellent. With his warm Sicilian temperament and heartfelt hospitality, Antonino charmed us all. Once again, thank you so much for this wonderful evening!

Basically, it's a nice place with probably good and tasty food. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience that because an ingredient (onions) was added to my pizza, which I had explicitly asked for it to be omitted for health reasons. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after I had eaten a few slices. The pizza maker, presumably the owner, said he couldn't change it because the onions are always in his tomato sauce. Well, that may be true, but if a customer doesn't want this ingredient in their food and isn't allowed to have it, then they should be informed. These were pieces that were 3-4 cm in size. They were supposed to be in the sauce? My colleague, who also ordered a pizza, strangely didn't have one. A strange coincidence, probably. Mistakes happen, no doubt. But there was no apology. Nothing. The question is, how do you deal with it? They even insisted that I pay for the food, since I had already eaten some of it. This even ended in a heated argument. The supposed manager argued about it to death in front of the other guests. All over 7 euros!!! ...In the end, I didn't have to pay for the pizza. Nevertheless, I left upset, disappointed, and angry. I'm sorry, but I've never experienced guests being treated like that. This is not what hospitality looks like.

Exquisite Italian food, prepared with attention to detail... even the appetizers are a poem. Be sure to try the baked olives. It's quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant :-)

Great Italian restaurant in Arnstadt! They advertise Sicilian products on their menu, and I believe them too. Had Mediterranean penne with ham, very aromatic and delicious. The pasta could have been served a little earlier, but that's just nitpicking. The limoncello was delicious, not as sweet or burning as elsewhere, but still fruity. Respect, keep up the good work 🤗

Very tasty food in a pleasant atmosphere.

I was at Antonino's with my girlfriend this evening, and it was another wonderful evening with great food. Later, an older athlete came along who was very hungry, and Antonino conjured up a delicious meal for him, despite the kitchen being closed. It was fantastic. And even though we were the last two guests, and it was already around 11 p.m., he was very friendly and didn't rush us. Quite the opposite: he offered us a nightcap. Very charming. We ate at your restaurant last night. It was truly fantastic. The food was first-class. We haven't had such a good antipasti platter in a long time. There was a lot, but it was soooo delicious. Everything was homemade, beautifully presented, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect. The service and atmosphere were also top-notch. A lovely outdoor area that was very well-kept and beautifully decorated. Thank you for the wonderful service, the amazing food, and the lovely evening. We can definitely recommend the Trattoria de Antonino.

Service was very nice and friendly! Went here for some drinks and we didn’t know that they don’t accept card at the moment, but they were patient and kind to let us get cash at the place where we’re staying. The bartender was also nice to give as a shot of limoncello! Which reminds me of friendliness when we were in Italy! I will definitely be back in this restaurant to try the food ☺️

We went there as a group. Apart from one meal, everyone was satisfied. The pizza was cold. We complained to the owner. His reaction was unacceptable. He humiliated his guest in front of others on several occasions. The pizza was heated in the oven a second time, and after that it was dry and inedible, and was not eaten. He even asked slyly whether he should wrap the pizza. But the pizza was still charged. The owner's behavior towards his guests can also be seen in his responses to other reviews. He shouldn't work in the service industry; it's not his business.

The pizza, pasta, and appetizers were excellent, and the wine recommendation was spot on. Our reservation for 6 people worked out perfectly. We'd love to come back. The bikers from the north🏍️

The food was great. Unfortunately, the service staff and the kitchen were overworked. (One person was in charge of ordering and preparing the pizza.) The order took about 1.5 hours. When I wanted to pay, I was told to wait, but in a rather unpleasant tone. Too bad, we won't be coming back. The owner's statements are unfortunately not true! He's either lying or doesn't know any better. He's overworked or overwhelmed. If he makes any more false statements like this, I'll sue him.

The atmosphere is okay, and if you don't want your pizza cooked through, this is the place for you. The service is completely overwhelmed; the wait for food can take up to 90 minutes. The owner gets rude when you try to pay. Then you're not welcome next time either, he says.

We had a very nice evening on the terrace of Trattoria da Antonio. The selection of food and especially the presentation and taste was great. We had a pizza calzone and a pizza parma and the pasta salmone - a huge and very tasty portion! The drinks were perfect and the price/performance ratio was good! However, paying the bill by card should be possible these days😏 Thank you for the delicious evening🍹🙏

Even the reception in the restaurant didn't radiate much hospitality. We had reserved 2 places for dinner and were assigned a table next to the door not far from annoying bass speakers. Our request to perhaps sit at another free table was initially rejected, but later suddenly granted. The bruschetta we ordered, among other things, was unfortunately served on burnt bread, without us complaining. It was only when we were serving it that we politely and reservedly noticed, when we asked if everything was OK, that the bread was unfortunately a bit black. Now the last bit of hospitality disappeared. The innkeeper instructed us, bruschetta It has to be that way and was also outraged at our behavior in making a table reservation with a bill of only 25 euros. We obviously failed in our mission as guests at this restaurant and will never enter it again.

Certainly the best Italian restaurant in Arnstadt but probably also in the Ilmkreis. Great pizzas and pasta dishes. Great basic products processed and prepared with attention to detail. Had a salad for the first time today. Try it yourself...

ONLY CASH PAYMENT possible! (It's easy to miss the small sticker on the door). It would be important to point this out at the beginning! Unfortunately, it wasn't until we requested the invoice that we were told that only cash payment was possible and that there was a notice on the outside... Long waiting times (even when ordering & serving the first drinks). The food was VERY good! If you have the time, you can have a lovely evening. Reservation recommended!

A really good little Italian in Arnstadt. Excellent and friendly service, good selection. The lasagna was a dream, the carpaccio was well prepared and delicious. We'll be back soon for the wood fired pizza!

Don't go eat there⚠️!! Very bad reception by the waiter who told us to go get lost because there was no room (not even offering us something to take away) and that he didn't want us. This very unpleasant character is not worth getting to know. He told us that everything was over and that we couldn't have anything anymore (at 7 p.m. in a pizzeria??🫨). I strongly advise against this restaurant which is not worth it unless you want to be welcomed like a dog in a bowling game

Never eat here. Pizzas are bad and people are even worse. You don't understand what a customer is.

Terrible reception. At 7.20pm, it was supposedly no longer possible to be served. The worst thing is the way you are received and the rudeness of the waiter. Despite being recommended by our hotel.

What I ordered with chicken was way too expensive but it was only formed meat.

We were able to enjoy our best pizzas here, even though it was very busy and we hadn't made a reservation. There was still a table for two available for an hour and we didn't feel rushed during that time. Everything was very attractively presented and really really good.

Had reserved a table, after I wanted to look again on the Internet, it suddenly said "going on vacation". Very questionable behavior. No cancellation by the restaurant So you can imagine what you will find the rest of the restaurant like. I can't say anything about the food, but there seems to be deficiencies in the service.

We were invited to dinner and chose the Pizzeria da Antonino because we had already eaten there several times. We knew that you had to bring some time, no problem. Unfortunately, what we were able to experience during the evening and when we got the food wasn't quite as we knew it. Employees were reprimanded in front of the guests or asked to work faster. What doesn't work at all - takes away the feeling of well-being. And unfortunately the orders didn't come as we ordered. The last pizza came around 9:15 p.m. and we had been sitting in the restaurant since 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't as ordered and when this was noted - I was told to bring a new one but at that time we were all happy to be able to pay. It's a shame that such a good Italian restaurant loses quality and quantity. And then to inform the guests with problems about a lack of staff in order to cover up the errors in the food not being delivered and the food being faulty - a shame.

Until yesterday, Trittoria was my favorite Italian restaurant when it came to food. As described in other reviews, he is an arrogant and high-spirited guy who treats his staff badly. He is actually a very good cook, but the way he treats his guests and staff ruins everything. Very unfortunate...

Once and never again Boss very unfriendly First my companion was served the wrong drink and 5 minutes later I was served... Food was okay so far, but we had to wait almost an hour for dessert and even the coffee took a good three quarters of an hour before it reached our table 🙄 Pizza that my companion wanted to take with us after our visit wasn't even in the works after 2 hours and several inquiries... But the worst thing I found was the milk jug for coffee, which probably hasn't seen a dishwasher in days 🤢

Unfortunately, overwhelmed staff, unfriendly boss who also reprimands his employees in front of the guests. The menu has been significantly reduced, only pizza. 45 minutes after ordering, it became apparent that the pizza we ordered was not available. Very very long waiting time! Vegetable pizza with raw zucchini slices and onions wasn't necessarily tasty. Given the ambience and prices, you could expect more.

After a long drive, we stopped in Arnstadt and wanted to enjoy our last day of vacation with a good Italian restaurant. Although warned by the hotel, we chose the Trattoria da Antonino. The service/hospitality is a complete disaster! After waiting more than 20 minutes for our drink request to be taken, we asked at the counter. The boss himself became beside himself, said we had only been there for a few minutes and didn't know how to behave. He refused to serve us, lectured us very emotionally about how guests should behave, collected the menu and asked us to come forward. we were speechless and switched to the competition.

Totally arrogant boss, no trace of Italian hospitality, no wonder he has no staff… we had already been warned at the hotel that the service here is terrible. But we have never experienced anything like this before, being thrown out after 30 minutes of waiting because we would like to order something and then being insulted in the worst possible way. The guests at the neighboring table were also stunned... Ergo: if you're hungry and/or looking for Italian hospitality, you've definitely come to the wrong place at this Tattoria!

We were in this pizzeria on Saturday. Actually an Italian restaurant, but apart from pizza (which is too expensive) there isn't much there. When we asked about pasta, the owner told us a pasta dish, but it wasn't on the menu. Both the boss and the service staff seemed stressed or overwhelmed. And when we sat for a while without ordering anything again, we were basically thrown out. If you feel like a pizza, you can go there. However, if you want to have a cozy and sophisticated meal with friends, you should avoid this restaurant. In any case, we were there for the first and definitely last time.

Four of us had dinner at Antonino's. The menu is very small, it was the first time we went to an Italian restaurant that didn't offer pasta, actually you can only eat pizza here, so it's not a restaurant but more of a pizzeria. The boss seemed stressed, unfriendly and arrogant. It's also suspicious: you only get a hand-written invoice (paper) and card payment is not possible. Never again not recommended!!! The answer from the owner shows his level and character! And not just my rating but all the bad reviews here! I'm simply speechless! I find a single daily offer of pasta at an Italian restaurant to be very poor... plus it doesn't say anything about the daily offer anywhere, only when we asked for pasta did he tell us verbally! I've never seen or experienced anything like that, a disaster!! Really uncivilized!

The very last. We have never experienced such unfriendly and primitive staff. This has nothing to do with Italian hospitality. We were appalled by such behavior.

This Italian restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel. When I arrived at 9 p.m. I was informed that there was no longer any pizza. Since there was no seating at the time, I was asked to wait outside in the rain for 20-30 minutes. The order was then taken incorrectly and of the 3 desserts only 2 were available. Everyone else got a digestif, but I wasn't offered anything despite the bill being over €40. I wanted to order a grappa for €7, but they were sold out. That was the last time here for me. I will inform the hotel about my experiences. ATTENTION: cash payment only!

Throws out guests who ask him not to put extra salt on their food (on our first visit we had coarse grains, probably from a salt mill, on our food). And when you give negative reviews, he becomes insulting ("I get headaches from guests who look like that"). Embarrassing idea.

Very unfriendly service. We politely asked not to get extra salt on the pizza. That was our experience from our last visit. Boss starts arguing, takes away the drinks and throws us out. I have never experienced such impudence.

I don't know when or where I last had such good Italian food. My choice fell on carpaccio and linguine aglio e olio. Absolute recommendation!

The food was actually good, but unfortunately the boss's attitude left a lot to be desired. He could definitely benefit from learning better customer relationships. He could also hone his German skills to ensure more effective communication.

The service is underground. I was just there to have a cappuccino with my partner. Since I was busy, I offered the waiter to take the coffee out myself so that it didn't have to go into the cold. After 20 minutes my partner went in and was cleared out, we didn't sit for 5 minutes. After another few minutes, the said waiter (boss?) came with the cappuccino and again approached my partner. I then explained to the gentleman that I came from the catering industry and that we had to wait 20 minutes and that, from my own experience, I had a bad feeling about making my guests wait that long. In between I paid 9.80 euros for 2 cappuccinos!!!!!! When he realized that I had no understanding for him in our case, I got my money back, he took his coffee and told us to leave the restaurant!!!!!!! We are only weekend guests, but I have never given my guests such subterranean treatment, let alone ever received it myself.

Yesterday the four of us had dinner at Antonino's. As always, it was a wonderful evening in a great atmosphere with a very friendly and attentive Antonino. The restaurant is very nice and lovingly furnished. We really love Italian cuisine and really enjoy eating in this restaurant often, but what Antonino and his team served there yesterday was really top notch. The owner recommended the Argentinian steak to us. We were happy to follow this recommendation twice. Shortly afterwards he brought the two wonderful pieces of meat from the kitchen to the table and explained a lot to us about the quality and origin of the raw meat. The finest Argentinian meat with great grain in top quality. It couldn't be better! After a reasonable amount of time, the food came to the table. The two steaks (served as a piece, not cut as a tagliata) were perfectly fried - tender, pink, juicy on the inside and with wonderful roasted aromas on the outside. Only a few steakhouses can do it like this. An absolute dream! At our table we also had the Insalata Speziale with chicken and a Pizza Galbani. Both also perfect and taste great. In summary, we would have liked to have given it 6 stars. The food was just really delicious. As always! Antonino and team, we thank you for this great evening and are already looking forward to the next time. 😃

Exceptionally good pizza. All other dishes were also very tasty and appetizing. Attractive atmosphere. Friendly host and nice service. In summer there is a lovely beer garden on the edge of the historic old town of Arnstadt. Always happy to be a guest there.

Food very good. The window had to stay open because of the pizza oven. We sat on the train for some of the time and were freezing. Staff only asks 1 person in the large group if the appetizer should be brought at a different time. You can also take meals with you. Toilet on the upper floor. Parking space in front of the house but not always free. Price wise okay.

I was able to provide musical accompaniment to a Christmas party on the stylish upper floor. The quick service team including Big Boss served Italian delicacies. Whenever I'm in Arnstadt again, I'd love to come by on a personal basis.

Wir hatten gestern um 18:04 eine Bestellu für z Pizzen aufgegeben und sollten diese in 30‘ abholen. Pünktlich angekommen musste ich 45‘ warten, keine Entschuldigung oder Erklärung, man hat am Samstag ja sonst nichts weiter vor als zu warten.🤨 da die Pizzen sonst recht lau waren, haben wir diese mit mehr Knoblauch und scharf bestellt, was kam war ungenießbar scharf 🌶️ Da wir in dem vorhergehenden Restaurant mehrfach solche und ähnliche Probleme hatten, war es nun tatsächlich unser letzter Versuch, nie wieder, zum Glück gibt es mehrere und sehr gute Italiener in Arnstadt!!!

Wir sind glücklich und zufrieden gewesen. Wir konnten erst 21.30 Uhr wegen unserer Tätigkeit ins Restaurant gehen und wurden trotz der späten Ankunft hervorragend bedient. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
