It was a wonderful evening we spent at Thymian. A relaxed atmosphere, great wine, superb food. We had a lot of fun and we'll definitely be back!

Prices are somewhat high, but more than justified by the excellent quality. Unfortunately, no draft beer; all drinks are bottled.

The food was good and the service very friendly – ​​a big compliment to them. We had reserved the table well in advance and mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday. Therefore, we were somewhat surprised to be seated right between the entrance, the restrooms, and the bar, despite the restaurant being almost empty. There was a lot of foot traffic there, so we felt a bit like we were sitting "at a train station." Unfortunately, this made our visit less than pleasant and is making us unsure whether we'll return. Perhaps it would be helpful in the future to briefly inquire about the availability of the offered table when making reservations – especially when guests are coming for a special occasion. After all, one makes a reservation to secure a nice seat. Otherwise, we wish you all the best and continued success.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food

A very nice restaurant with great decor, pleasant lighting, and a modern-rustic yet cozy atmosphere. The food is of very high quality, and the slightly higher prices are definitely justified. They also have an extensive wine list (with excellent recommendations). Overall, a great addition to Dießen!

The tapas were okay... What bothered me was that it was simply too loud and the service was unfortunately very uncoordinated...

We were seated at a bar table in the passageway, with exposed pipes and wiring on the ceiling. The service wasn't exactly friendly. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. The portions were ridiculously small and tasted nothing special. 60 euros for a few appetizers, water, and a joke of a cheesecake. The dessert, in particular, was truly unappetizing. At least it was outrageously small. Unfortunately, a completely overpriced and overrated restaurant, not worth another visit.

With great passion and creativity, tapas are conjured up here that are second to none. Constantly new creations make each visit to Thymian particularly special.

We had made a reservation long in advance for my friend's birthday dinner. When we arrived, we received a friendly welcome and quickly received our drinks and food. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, after that, we were no longer perceived as guests. The table was cleared, but no one asked if we wanted dessert or drinks. Eye contact was also avoided. When we decided to pay, we were initially fobbed off with "I'll be right back," but then, unfortunately, the system crashed, and we had to wait a very long time (45 minutes). When I asked if they could send me a bill, the server simply replied that they weren't allowed to, and the atmosphere among the staff became increasingly unfriendly, especially among themselves. Unfortunately, we noticed this. At some point, we were given some chewy biscuits. (After the great meal before, they were somehow inappropriate.) But since we were running out of food, we devoured them. Only when the manager returned from her evening break was the problem quickly resolved, and we were able to pay. Such situations do happen, I'm aware of that. I worked in service for years myself, but we literally waited 45 minutes to pay and were constantly put off, and we weren't offered anything "filler" or anything similar (we didn't think chewable candy was appropriate here). A little something would have been thoughtful.

Very tasty. The price/performance ratio is sometimes a bit above the bounds of good taste. An example of a wine recommendation is a 0.2 l for €19.50. Some tapas are also very small. But everything is really well-seasoned, and you can definitely treat yourself. The service is friendly, though it could be a bit more attentive here and there when glasses are empty. The restrooms are clean. A clear recommendation: make a reservation.

Exceptional offerings (compared to many tapas restaurants I've been to) such as orzo with porcini mushrooms and Parmesan, salmon with summer truffles, as well as standard offerings like aioli and roasted potatoes, which were also delicious! Good desserts (like a small cheesecake, sorbet, chocolate cake with a soft center, possibly with vanilla ice cream) and a large selection of alcoholic drinks. Prices are upscale. The atmosphere is pleasant, with some outdoor seating. Service is friendly and prompt.

The restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening, which we considered a positive! Very friendly, attentive service. We had various tapas, each of which was more than delicious! There was also a sufficient selection for vegetarians (my girlfriend).

It's already very tasty here. Unfortunately, the sometimes hefty prices don't get full marks. For two people, without cocktails/wine/alcohol, and just water, the total would certainly be around €60-65 without overeating.

We decided to visit spontaneously at the end of our trip to Lake Ammersee without any recommendation. We were delighted with both the food and the service. The only caveat: While the outdoor area is certainly appealing, it's very noisy and therefore uncomfortable due to the traffic lights. We would be happy to visit Thymian again, but we'll sit inside.

The selection of tapas was sometimes very creative, unusual, and rather limited (the ceviche was atypical, barely spicy, with little coriander and red onion, but outstanding). The smoked char paste was also particularly good. A great selection of wines by the glass.

Today was our second visit to this fantastic tapas restaurant – and we even deliberately took a detour on the way back to Munich. And once again, every kilometer was worth it! Everything on the menu is fresh, prepared with great care, delicious, and wonderfully wholesome. I lived in Spain for a while myself (including Barcelona, ​​Málaga, and Salamanca) – and honestly, you can't find such good, finely balanced tapas everywhere. Here, everything is just perfect. The service is also exceptionally friendly, attentive, and fast. In Munich, you'd have to search long and hard to find this quality of food, wine, and service at this price-performance ratio. The dessert was also delicious – if we weren't already so full, we would have happily continued feasting. We'll definitely be back. This restaurant is worth every drive!

Always excellent! You can follow the wine recommendations blindly, the food is always great, gluten intolerance is not a problem because you can simply have potatoes instead of bread with the tapas. And if you're lucky, you'll get a wonderful schnapps on the house at the end!

Wir haben eine richtig tolle Abendessen gehabt, nach dem das unsere Wein aus war, haben wir eine Weinempfelung von Chef Koch bekommen und das Wein war einfach 1a, dazu war das Wein 3x teuer aber wird wie unsere erste Wein berechnet Tolle bedinung, sehr leckeres essen, wir waren alle begeistert , kann ich nur weiterempfohlen Eine spanische Brandy als Aperitiv ist ein muss

Wir waren schon sehr oft Gast im Thymian. Es war immer sehr gut, somit war das doch höhere Preisniveau schon gerechtfertigt. Unser letzter Besuch hat uns allerdings enttäuscht...vielleicht, weil die Chefin nicht da war? Das Essen war lang nicht so gut wie sonst, alles einen Tick liebloser. Es kam auch sofort nach Bestellung auf den Tisch, es war also alles längst fertig und wurde bestenfalls gewärmt bzw. aus der Kühlung genommen. Am Schlechtesten fanden wir das Schoko Soufflé.. schmeckte wie Convenience, dazu lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht, keine Deko. Schade. Noch ein Wort zur Bedienung: Die Dame stolzierte mit arroganter Miene durchs Lokal, wirkte fast genervt, als sei es eine Zumutung für sie, uns bedienen zu müssen. Gnädig nahm sie die Bestellung entgegen und stellte die Speisen lustlos auf den Tisch. Nur einmal lächelte sie - als wir um die Rechnung baten - wohl in Erwartung eines guten Trinkgeldes. Diesmal also hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut nicht gestimmt. Erstmal haben wir keine Lust mehr.

The tapas were delicious, perfectly prepared, the decor was beautiful, and the service was quick and courteous. However, the selection was very small compared to the tapas bars you'd expect in Spain. A larger selection, perhaps an all-you-can-eat option or something similar, would be something to consider.

We were there for Valentine's Day and it won't be the last time! Authentic tapas with incredible quality. We had 6 tapas in total and every ingredient was a delight. Despite the hustle and bustle on Valentine's Day, top service and very friendly staff! We were absolutely thrilled, but unfortunately we can't recommend any food because everything was so delicious. If you like high quality at a fair price, Thyme is the right place for you. See you next time!

There were four of us and we simply ordered everything from the Tappas menu from top to bottom and later ordered our favorite dishes again (good eaters). Everything was very tasty. Particularly worthy of mention are the incredibly juicy, crumbly and well-seasoned lamb chops, the stuffed quail and of course the goat cheese gratin. But everything else tasted excellent too. We were served in a friendly and courteous manner. There was always someone nearby to clear plates, bring fresh bread or accommodate requests for additional drinks. Then a Crema Catalana with an ultra-thin, extra-smooth sugar level - wonderful. We would love to come back.

The Thymian Restaurant is a great place for anyone looking for food of outstanding quality. The service was very attentive and courteous and when we asked about the right wine pairing, the waitress assigned the right wine based on her first impression of us. The steak was cooked to perfection and almost melted in your mouth. And the sweet ending was also on point.
