Update May 24: Unfortunately only buffet, which doesn't convince me personally. It's a shame, the menu had great dishes (e.g. sea bream) Nice modern Greek restaurant. Very pleasant background music and friendly service. In addition to the usual Greek dishes, the menu also includes pasta, fish, etc. The prices are moderate, the food is delicious. Before the main course there was an Uzo and warm baguette with a delicious dip and for dessert a small dessert on the house.

I'm not much of a buffet type, so I didn't read the flyer properly and thought both were offered. The food was delicious, no question, but we were missing a little of the Greek flair. Meat was brought to our table once, unfortunately there was no meat at the buffet itself. The service was, as always, super nice and no, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new concept works...I'll stick with the good old menu...

The owners may have changed something at the buffet, but our buffet was great and it was also Greek and Mediterranean. There were, among other things, moussaka, gyros, souflaki, pork steaks, souzouki, mussels, fried crabs, pastitsio, calamari, Greek-style green beans, tzatziki, olives and pepperoni, fries, Greek-style potatoes, various salads, bread, etc. Everything was constantly topped up and everything tasted really good. The store was full and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I would like to say to the team: keep it up.

We don't know if it was because it was only the second day with the new buffet concept... But it was a complete disaster... There were turkey rolls, peas and carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, fries and nuggets, pasta with cheese, green salad etc... There was hardly any Greek or Mediterranean stuff and what was there wouldn't have been worth the trip, the buffet was very carelessly designed. More of a canteen like a restaurant. Most of the food tasted good, but it wasn't what you expected. For dessert there was a mousse and an indefinable brown dessert (maybe brownie). Drinks take forever, you got into conversation with other guests who were also more than disappointed. The table next to us waited 15 minutes for a cola, the staff was in the room 10 times, looked around, it was apparently not possible to bring the cola with us. We were just happy that we didn't have to pay the regular price. But the staff is friendly, that has to be said

We went there for a buffet dinner today and were thrilled. The selection was large, with something for every taste from starters, salads to various main courses and dessert. Everything was lovingly prepared and tasted very good. The service was excellent! The waitresses were incredibly attentive and very friendly. We would love to come back and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience!

So they're really not doing themselves any favors with the buffet offer... the food was semi-good... most of it was already cold... half of it was empty, there were only crumbs left... we're really annoyed about the money we spent on it...

Very hard-working in everything, there were still slight difficulties refilling the buffet, but it was difficult at the beginning. Very hard-working staff. Good selection of drinks, food too. According to the statement, it always changes. And if a small drink mishap has happened, which can happen from time to time, a professional response with an offer to cover the cleaning fees. We went to Theo's Essen for the first time today. The service was great, the buffet is sufficient. Maybe you should add feta to the buffet program and gyros / fries, everything there was was very tasty.

We tried the new buffet today; The restaurant itself is beautifully and modernly furnished. We really liked the buffet (which is also described as Greek-Mediterranean); There were, for example, souvlaki skewers, grilled meat, minced meatballs, moussaka, pastitsio, potatoes, mixed vegetables, etc. There was also very tasty tzatziki and olives, which was criticized in some previous reviews...Only gyros were not available, which is a must but don't necessarily be there either... Some of the bad reviews prove, in my opinion, also from ignorance of Greek cuisine. Yes, there is also potato salad in Greece! And pasta is also part of Greek-Mediterranean cuisine, such as Kritharaki, which was also available here. Ultimately, the service staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food was very good and absolutely fair for the price offered. We can only recommend it ! The buffet is new and there can certainly be some teething problems. But you should be fair and give the restaurant the chance to establish itself with the new offer.

Were there today for the first time and not for the last time. There were very, very tasty Greek home cooking dishes to choose from...we'll be happy to come back....

We went to the new buffet offer and are quite disappointed. We were expecting gyros, bifteki or maybe souflaki - but turkey in cream sauce, pork in sauce, chicken nuggets and fries... salads that look/taste like they were bought and poured into a bowl. Choice of dessert: jelly or chocolate mousse with a taste of 70% chocolate - so very dark (dark). The ladies in service try very hard - sometimes a bit too quickly when clearing away plates - but all in all they try hard and quickly. In our opinion, the food selection was not what was well received. And the other guests looked like they weren't exactly thrilled either. Better a buffet with gyros etc. and fresh salads - then just pay more. A pity!! Hopefully the restaurant doesn't ruin its actually good rating with the buffet...

Greek buffet? If the goal was to insult the Greek nation, then the goal was achieved! The moussaka consists of 90% firm bechamel sauce, no olives - but a selection of buffet specialties from a bad hotel. Tzatziki tastes like Aldi spring quark, the small pile of "Greek" meat is as tough as the sole of a shoe. The best thing was the chicken nuggets. Ask for the bill early, we had to ask 4 times to be allowed to pay!

The only positive thing was that the service staff tried very hard overall and were always friendly. I haven't written many negative reviews so far, but unfortunately I have no other choice here. The buffet offer is absolutely NOT recommended.

Reservation was made by phone. in advance. Uncomplicated and very friendly. Arrival shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday at the restaurant was very pleasant, as the access was excellent and there was plenty of parking space right next to the restaurant. Surprisingly little activity for a Saturday evening. A total of only 5 tables sparingly occupied. One individual, 2x2 people, 1x5 people, 1x4 people. The first table broke up straight away with 2 people. So 4 tables in service. It stayed that way throughout the entire evening. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our 2 mixed starters plus octopus salad and a baked potato. There were really discussions about everything with the service staff, who also had to do work in the kitchen. Bread wasn't brought, it was always explained that we would have to buy it separately. Maybe we looked poor???! The second glass of a large bottle of water was only available when we picked it up at the counter ourselves, despite a friendly reminder. A portion of octopus salad on a side plate should cost a mere €16, and you could actually count the pieces of fish on one hand. "Sorry, the second arm is still in the kitchen, it was forgotten, should we cut it in????" "Uh, no thanks...!!!!!!" etc etc etc. RG on brewery block with pen. No receipt. But that was the least of the problems. Warm plate consisting of burnt peppers in 3 colors, one side black, of course WITH peel and zucchini in homeopathic cans was cold, forgot to BRING to the table, was explained,... etc. Never again!!! Next table waited 2 hours with a child for the main course. People in the kitchen and service are nice and hard-working, but, but... maybe the buffet works better. I don't try anymore. That's not why I set out. It's a shame about the goods, time and money. Sorry. And of course we ate everything, at 8.35 p.m. our stomachs were on our feet and the quantities were manageable, as I said. You have to be able to deal with criticism, it's never pleasant. Completely clear. We were just wondering what happens when the store is full?! It wasn't at 25% capacity. Nevertheless, all the best and good luck with the new concept, certainly a good idea to improve the points mentioned.

All in all, the food was good and tasted good. Unfortunately the tzatziki didn't have enough garlic for our taste. The restaurant is nice and decorated according to the theme. The service was friendly and accommodating.

Very nice new restaurant that opened, we were there twice and were very satisfied, I can say perhaps our new regular restaurant. We always go out to eat on Saturdays and there are enough parking spaces in the area.

Unfortunately the service was incredibly bad. There wasn't much going on in the dining room. Unfortunately my dish came lukewarm, so we had to find the waiter and it was warmed up in the microwave. Unfortunately it didn't suit my taste. This can happen, but unfortunately it wasn't noticed. We were neither asked if we would like anything else to drink nor if everything was okay. After we had the waiter's attention, I said that unfortunately it wasn't to my taste. I would have liked to have ordered something else and paid for both dishes - but the waiter shrugged his shoulders and left. It's a shame, but we definitely won't be coming back.

I had visited this shop with my family to celebrate my birthday, we were 20 people, we were very pleased, the service was fast despite the fullness of the shop, very welcoming and kind staff and the taste was awesome, I will visit again, I definitely recommend it, keep it up your wonderful work!!!!!!

War mit Familie essen sehr lecker

Waren gestern mit der Familie dort essen , schönes Ambiente freundlicher Service. Das Essen war auch ganz lecker, nur die Lammkotelettes waren leider etwas zu weit gegart und der Tzatziki hatte unserer Meinung nach zu wenig Knoblauch. Aber können das Lokal weiter empfehlen. Preise sind ok . Große Auswahl an Vegetarischen Gerichten ist auch vorhanden .

Sehr gutes Essen, netter Service, gerne immer wieder. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Leider waren wir nicht sehr begeistert und es wird bei einem einmaligen Besuch bleiben. Das Essen ist für die Portionsgröße und die Qualität total überteuert. Es werden Orangenscheiben auf den Tellern drapiert um die Portionen bzw. die Teller voller wirken zu lassen. Der Kellner der das Essen brachte war leider auch ziemlich schnell unwirsch als wir fragten was an dem Hähnchenfleisch dran war, denn wir wollte wegen mehrerer Unverträglichkeiten ungewürztes Hähnchenfleisch für jemanden haben, bekamen aber Gewürztes. Ist grundsätzlich kein Problem aber dann nimmt man es zurück und behauptet nicht der Gast hätte was anderes bestellt. Unprofessionell. Der Reis ist leider auch eine Witz und schmeckt nach nichts. Das kann man so viel besser machen. Wir wollten für unsere Tochter einen kleinen Gyrosteller für Kinder haben und fragten ob es möglich sei einen kleinen Gyrosteller fertig zu machen, da sie das Essen mag und keine Lust auf einen Mickey Maus Teller mit Fischstäbchen oder Chicken Nuggets hat. "Gibt's nicht" war die Antwort. Ist es so schwer die Hälfte von einem Gyrosteller zu servieren und dann nur die Hälfte abzurechnen?

Sehr schönes restaurant und sehr lecker ich komme wieder.

Σούπερ νόστιμο φαγητό, πολύ ωραία εξυπηρέτηση και παρά το γεγονός ότι ήμασταν εκεί με 20 άτομα, εξυπηρετηθήκαμε πολύ γρήγορα και δεν χρειάστηκε να περιμένουμε πολύ για το φαγητό μας. Σίγουρα μια σύσταση 👍

Ganz spontan hier vor ein paar Wochen hier vorbei geschaut. Über die Preise waren wir geschockt. Hier gibt es in Lüdenscheid sicherlich ein besseres Preis-Leistung Verhältnis in anderen traditionellen Griechischen Restaurants. Wir hatten eine Grillplatte für 2 Personen. Die wirklich schön dekoriert war. Bis wir unseren Hauptgang bekommen hatten dauerte es knapp 45min bei keinen weiteren Bestellungen. Leider schmeckte mir das Gyros überhaupt nicht, es war sehr fettig und schmeckte säuerlich was sicherlich an der griechischen Würzung liegt. Im Restaurant selbst waren zwei Tische besetzt, den Kellner haben genau zwei Mal gesehen bei der Bestellung und nachher beim Wunsch auf die Rechnung. Gerne hätte wir Getränke nachbestellt. Meiner Meinung nach müssen die Preise definitiv noch einmal überdacht werden und hat es leider nicht zu gesagt. Schade, so wird es wohl bei unseren ersten und letzten Besuch bleiben.

Wir waren am Sonntag zum ersten Mal hier Mittagessen. Um 15.00 Uhr war noch nicht viel Los, den Tisch haben wir aber Reserviert.. Sehr nettes Ambiente, sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung was sehr nett und hilfsbereit, sehr grosse Auswahl an Gerichten, auch für Vegetarier war was dabei. Gute Portionen und gute Preise. Parkplatzmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Relativ kleines Restaurant neu eröffnet. Große Auswahl an Speisen, die frisch zubereitet werden, was ggf. zu Wartezeit führt. Einige Tische draußen. Moderate Preise. Service freundlich. Parkplätze kostenlos in der Nähe.

Sehr tolles Restaurant, super Service, und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist im grünen Bereich. Werden auf jedenfall wiederkommen.

Haben das "Theo's" zum ersten Mal besucht. Unser bestelltes Essen - Souvlaki und Hellas-Teller - wurde ohne längere Wartezeit in ansprechender Optik serviert. (Vorher gab's noch einen leckeren Gruß aus der Küche.) Das Essen schmeckte uns sehr gut, Portionsgrößen völlig in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Außergewöhnlich gut. Leckeres Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Die griechische Gastfreundschaft kann man nur genießen.
