I tried this restaurant on a friend's recommendation. Fantastic! 👍 Very delicious, authentic Greek cuisine 😍 We started with the appetizer, which was amazing, and the tzatziki was absolutely delicious. For the main course, we had a mixed platter with gyros, souvlaki, and chicken breast, which was also incredibly tasty 😋 I will definitely come back and can recommend it 100%.

We happened to be nearby and were looking for a place to eat. The food was very good, the service was extremely friendly and attentive, and we would gladly come again.

A little hard to find, but a very pleasant surprise: what looks like a sports bar from the outside turns out to be a Greek restaurant with incredibly delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Ordered easily via WhatsApp, had a very pleasant conversation, and they even included wine and a few samples with the food we ordered :-) -> Overall, it all made us curious to try it in person sometime (after the lockdown) :-) We're looking forward to it!!

It was busy and therefore a bit noisy. The food was excellent. Service was quick and attentive. They were responsive to our requests and needs. There was plenty of parking. The price was reasonable for the quantity and quality. We'd gladly come back, even though it's a bit off the beaten track.

Very, very good food. We had a fish platter, grilled calamari with vegetables, a meat platter (thalassa plate), grilled liver, and a dessert of pastry with custard sauce and ice cream. Everything was very good. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and we all got two free ouzos.

Based on the good reviews, my family and I tried Thalassa. We sat on the terrace overlooking the adjacent soccer fields. The staff also sat together at a table, and some people were smoking. Unfortunately, the smoke kept drifting over to us. The prices are quite high, but the portions are quite small. The few pieces of eggplant and zucchini for starters were almost outrageous for the price. The food was beautifully presented. The salad had a good mustard dressing. Overall, it was quite good, but not particularly well-seasoned. It's a shame, we probably won't be coming back.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to the Greek restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting – it almost felt like a vacation in Greece. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and served us excellently. The food was simply fantastic. We tried souvlaki, gyros, calamari, and fresh tzatziki – everything was perfectly seasoned and very authentic in taste. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The homemade pita bread deserves special mention – simply divine! The selection of Greek wines and desserts like galaktobureko was also impressive. The value for money is excellent – you really get a lot of quality for your money. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Greek cuisine or wants to get to know it. I can't understand the very good reviews others have given me. I visited this restaurant for the first time last Sunday – it will be my last! First of all, it was very loud; the music drowned out everything, and you couldn't have a quiet conversation. Then we waited a long time for service. Next, our eyes fell on the floor = really dirty. My companion then ran his finger over the edge of the tiles next to the table and his finger came back covered in dust! Food = we were all disappointed! The food is so highly praised by so many – it's hard to believe. It wasn't that bad (we ate it), but we're used to better food from Stein. I had to go to the bathroom – it wasn't very clean. You can check throughout the day to see if everything is OK, right? I get the impression that many people go there just because of its easy accessibility. I won't recommend this restaurant. This is a subjective impression; others should experience it for themselves...

No, it has the feel of a sports bar. Not very clean, the shelves that mark the aisle are covered in dust as thick as your fingers!!! Once and never again!!!

Great Greek restaurant. We got a seat without an appointment. It was well attended. Child-friendly. The restaurant is located in a secluded location, next to a sports field and only accessible through an underpass. The food is delicious.

The food tastes great, the staff is super nice. Unfortunately it is a bit difficult to find without local knowledge. But in the modern age it's easy to reach with maps. Parking spaces are available, but these can be slightly full when there is action at the adjacent sports field. But overall it's worth a visit :)

It was our first time here and we were greeted very friendly and shown to the square. Service (I suspect the landlord himself) was very attentive and very friendly. Gyros with suvlaki and rice were as you would expect, cooked to perfection, rice not dry like many others and traditional tzaziki as you would expect from a good Greek restaurant. Chicken breast in Metaxa sauce was also very tasty 😋. I found the side salad to be perfect, not dripping with oil like many others... Price & performance is fair, generous, good-tasting portions at a fair price. I can understand the good reviews and I haven't had such good Greek food in Nuremberg for a long time... Worth a visit and certainly not the last time.

Unfortunately our visit to the Thalassa restaurant was a disappointment. The food overall was nothing special, and the calamari in particular was not well prepared. Unfortunately, the taste of the kitchen didn't impress us. The atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting either. The view of the Post SV football field may be interesting for some, but it does little to create the typically cozy Greek atmosphere. The biggest point of criticism, however, was the service. The boss was very unfriendly, especially when we politely asked for a better seat. His reaction was not only unprofessional but also completely inappropriate. It would have been nice if they had shown a little more understanding and hospitality - as you should expect in the catering industry. It was not a good experience for us and our family. If you value good service, you should go to another restaurant. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Thalassa.

We were there with our family. Had reserved a large table 2 weeks ago. The landlord was very unfriendly, became very loud and claimed that we had just called two days ago. He disrespectfully led us to two separate tables, which was out of the question for us because it was a family meeting. After the landlord gesticulated so violently, 17 of us were forced to leave the restaurant.

The owner was so rude and unfriendly that we felt very uncomfortable. There are so many Greek restaurants that have so much more to offer in terms of taste and service. From us a clear no to this restaurant.

Very tasty Greek with a very nice host. We went there for the first time on the advice of our daughter. Because of a celebration, our meal took a little longer, and the host came to the table (without us asking) to apologize. There was an additional Uzo and espresso on top. Addendum: always order in advance from the end of the outdoor season, especially in the evenings and weekends! A lot of people think it's so delicious there! 😅

I ate here for the first time today and I have to say it was by far the best gyros I've ever eaten!! The meat was extremely tender and juicy, every bite was a real pleasure. The calamari also tasted extremely good and wasn't too greasy. We also had a fish platter which I can only recommend. This restaurant really deserves every good review. Since in my opinion it is difficult to find a good Greek restaurant in Nuremberg, I can only advise you all to do this!! Thanks for the great food, I'll be back!!
