A spontaneous visit and I was not disappointed. The food (value for money) and service were excellent! I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

We were there for the first time yesterday and can only say WOOOOOW 👍👍👍👍. The atmosphere was great, the service was amazing, and the food was beyond good. Great value for money 👍. You can say that's Greek food there. In our opinion, the entire team at Thalassa deserves more than ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Our visit was a delight from start to finish. The service was attentive, warm, and always with a smile. The menu is creative and lovingly curated – there's something for every taste. We'll definitely be back – a true gem among restaurants!

Great Greek restaurant. We got a seat without an appointment. It was well attended. Child-friendly. The restaurant is located in a secluded location, next to a sports field and only accessible through an underpass. The food is delicious.

Our experience at the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were all very tasty and the portions were filling. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Today was the first time we noticed this restaurant. We had takeout. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to wait for our order with an ouzo/espresso. And what can I say, the food was amazing! We're already looking forward to eating there next time. Thank you very much.

At first, we were planning to turn back, as the area seems rather shabby to non-locals. But we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant (sports restaurant) itself was nicely decorated and the food was delicious! The service was also excellent!

My husband and I went here for the first time today and we are very very surprised at how nice the staff is - incredibly friendly and funny waiters, relaxed management and the food was a smooth 10/10! So we'll definitely come again and thank you for the great experience.

The food tastes great, the staff is super nice. Unfortunately it is a bit difficult to find without local knowledge. But in the modern age it's easy to reach with maps. Parking spaces are available, but these can be slightly full when there is action at the adjacent sports field. But overall it's worth a visit :)

It was our first time here and we were greeted very friendly and shown to the square. Service (I suspect the landlord himself) was very attentive and very friendly. Gyros with suvlaki and rice were as you would expect, cooked to perfection, rice not dry like many others and traditional tzaziki as you would expect from a good Greek restaurant. Chicken breast in Metaxa sauce was also very tasty 😋. I found the side salad to be perfect, not dripping with oil like many others... Price & performance is fair, generous, good-tasting portions at a fair price. I can understand the good reviews and I haven't had such good Greek food in Nuremberg for a long time... Worth a visit and certainly not the last time.

Unfortunately our visit to the Thalassa restaurant was a disappointment. The food overall was nothing special, and the calamari in particular was not well prepared. Unfortunately, the taste of the kitchen didn't impress us. The atmosphere wasn't particularly inviting either. The view of the Post SV football field may be interesting for some, but it does little to create the typically cozy Greek atmosphere. The biggest point of criticism, however, was the service. The boss was very unfriendly, especially when we politely asked for a better seat. His reaction was not only unprofessional but also completely inappropriate. It would have been nice if they had shown a little more understanding and hospitality - as you should expect in the catering industry. It was not a good experience for us and our family. If you value good service, you should go to another restaurant. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Thalassa.

We were there with our family. Had reserved a large table 2 weeks ago. The landlord was very unfriendly, became very loud and claimed that we had just called two days ago. He disrespectfully led us to two separate tables, which was out of the question for us because it was a family meeting. After the landlord gesticulated so violently, 17 of us were forced to leave the restaurant.

The owner was so rude and unfriendly that we felt very uncomfortable. There are so many Greek restaurants that have so much more to offer in terms of taste and service. From us a clear no to this restaurant.

We really like going to Thalassa. Even in times of great stress, the staff are always friendly and the food is always of good quality. The restaurant is generally well attended and therefore very popular.

It was very good, I don't normally give reviews but I can't complain. Everything perfect. Gyros were very juicy, fresh bread, bifteki juicy, calamari were also very good, extra ouzo on the house, portions completely sufficient.

Very tasty Greek with a very nice host. We went there for the first time on the advice of our daughter. Because of a celebration, our meal took a little longer, and the host came to the table (without us asking) to apologize. There was an additional Uzo and espresso on top. Addendum: always order in advance from the end of the outdoor season, especially in the evenings and weekends! A lot of people think it's so delicious there! 😅

I ate here for the first time today and I have to say it was by far the best gyros I've ever eaten!! The meat was extremely tender and juicy, every bite was a real pleasure. The calamari also tasted extremely good and wasn't too greasy. We also had a fish platter which I can only recommend. This restaurant really deserves every good review. Since in my opinion it is difficult to find a good Greek restaurant in Nuremberg, I can only advise you all to do this!! Thanks for the great food, I'll be back!!

The restaurant is very remote and out of the way. But when we arrived, the skepticism immediately disappeared. Restaurant is located directly at the sports field. It is large and lovingly furnished. The service was super nice and the food was first class. I haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. If you're in the mood for Greek, you should definitely stop here. Beautiful garden area, comfortable chairs and courteous service. Attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and hot. I had fried sardines with rice and tzatziki. Beforehand there was a side salad with a fine dressing. An ouzo completes the sufficient dish. We would be happy to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

My visit to this Greek restaurant was simply outstanding. The food was excellent and exceeded all of our expectations. I had the lamb shank with large white beans, and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. My wife ordered the grilled calamari, which was wonderfully seasoned and tender, while my daughter enjoyed the baked calamari, which was crispy and juicy at the same time. Every bite was a delight. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was authentic and cozy, and we felt very welcome. Dinner there on recommendation. Food very tasty. Starter was garlic bread, it wasn't too dry or too oily. The gyros and suflaki were very juicy and not dry (like some restaurants). Definitely a good address.

We had dinner there with the whole family for my grandma's birthday. It was simply amazing – delicious food, very friendly service and a beautiful view of the sports field and the mountain next to it! All in all, a really nice atmosphere. Nothing to complain about, we'll be happy to come back!
