The tapas were beautifully presented. They also tasted good. The ingredients were good, too. I found the ambiance cozy and the service attentive. But the price-performance ratio is high! Considering what I was offered, I wasn't impressed and, in my opinion, it was expensive. Hence only 3 stars.

The food was really delicious, but it's quite expensive. A couscous salad was €19. The tapas were very, very good.

We were there as a large group for a corporate event. We had pre-ordered a set menu. Regular, vegetarian, and vegan. The food was okay, but for the price of just under €60 per person, we got very little. It almost felt like a "scam." We were all very surprised, and no one was full. It was basically an appetizer table with just one dessert. So, corporate event organizers definitely need to be careful.

Very friendly service. It was very busy. More Greek than Spanish dishes. I had seafood salad and a chocolate soufflé. Given the high prices, they could certainly invest in the restrooms, especially the toilets.

Very tasty and fresh. I especially liked the mint in the seafood salad. I'd be happy to go back. The tapas at the next table also looked fantastic.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the service from the two young, pretty, and courteous ladies was consistently attentive and warm—nothing was lacking. We especially appreciated the fact that the owner greeted us personally and took the time for a little small talk. You immediately feel welcome and at ease here. We'll be back again and again and can highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is so damn expensive €120 for2 adults and 1 kid. The price paid is not justified either for quality, quantity or service. The drinks are extremely expensive. The service is messed-up between tables, not only once many time. This place is run by 1 owner and inexperienced collage students. Not recommended as a satisfactory place to go.

It's probably the tastiest food I've had in Karlsruhe ;) The service is also great! Highly recommended in general and specifically as a first date spot. **Tip for the shy soldiers** get the mixed appetisers platter. It includes plenty of different stuff so you can break the ice by asking your date what's their favourite and ta da da. You're welcome.

I was really looking forward to the visit, but unfortunately I didn't even get to eat. The staff was extremely unfriendly from the start and made us feel unwelcome. A simple question was met with a stroppy and condescending response. This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate for a restaurant. We decided to leave and definitely won't be coming back.

This evening, on a Tuesday, we were at the restaurant as a couple. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. The service was first-class. Always friendly, courteous, and efficient. The food was exceptional and truly delicious. The owner was also there and was always super friendly and helpful, even on a Tuesday. However, that didn't detract from the friendly and competent service. In the end, we were completely satisfied.

Lured by the promise of dining at one of Karlsruhe's best restaurants (ranked 2 out of 885 according to Tripadvisor), we stopped by Terra Mare last week. It was a good thing we made a reservation in advance, as the place was packed on a Saturday night. That was actually a good sign. However, there was no chemistry between me and Terra Mare. The proprietor seemed strangely arrogant and a bit too aloof for my taste. His hard-working, very friendly assistants seemed intimidated and not particularly happy. My baked feta with vegetables came on a strange aluminum trivet and wasn't exactly a hit. The fried calamari still felt unpleasantly in my stomach half a day later; it wasn't my cup of tea either. Maybe it was just me, but whatever, next time we'll definitely go to number 1.

I came here for dinner with a group, and for a flat rate, we got a wide selection of tapas that were well worth the price. The food was very good, and the service was very friendly, competent, and prompt.

We were a group of 27 people for an early dinner at Terra Mare before a concert. We ordered mixed tapas and also a meat and fish platter. We sat at a long table that took up more than half of the restaurant and was beautifully set. The tapas plates came in a very large variety and of very good quality, each for 4 - 6 people. Finally there were the meat and fish platters, also of excellent quality. The service for our large group ran completely smoothly, the staff was very friendly. All members of our group were very satisfied with the dinner and then went to the concert in high spirits. I can highly recommend Terra Mare.

Tappa's platter for 2 costs around 60 euros. It was tasty, could have had more fish or seafood on it. The restaurant was full, so there was a lot of noise. Without a reservation you probably wouldn't have gotten a seat. It was Sunday evening. The restaurant is a bit small. There are no parking spaces, you have to look for them.

Last Sunday we had dinner at Terra Mare with a larger group. Unfortunately we didn't have much time because we had theater tickets. The service was first class and took our order quickly👌 The octopus was incredibly tasty👌 and the tapas and meat variations are also highly recommended. All in all, a great restaurant that we would like to visit again.

Yesterday we had another wonderful evening at TerraMare. We are always impressed by the fantastic selection of Spanish and Greek starters and the fish dishes. And the atmosphere with the owners who come to the tables and always ask whether everything is right is very nice. Thanks to the hosts!

A plate without fault! Full marks for the Octopus Rosemary. Delicately seasoned, buttery with a great sauce and fruity, high-quality olive oil. The service was also perfect. That's why we're coming back. - A pleasure!

At 60 euros per person for a group of 17, we would have liked to be better received...this was not the case and for this price the quality of the tapas was not extraordinary at all...very disappointing!

A disappointing evening. What was planned as a cozy evening turned out to be a disappointing experience. The noisy atmosphere and the stressed, grim head waiter already spoiled the entrance, even though the restaurant was only about 40% full. ...so we passed the visit, waiting for the two-person tapas platter we ordered. It was disappointing with greasy, cheap food that spoke more about quantity than quality. 100€ for 2 glasses of wine, 2 bottles of water and a tapas platter for 2 people?? ...everyone can judge that for themselves. My idea of ​​a successful evening is different.

We actually had a cozy evening before a concert in the concert hall around the corner. 3 of us had eaten tuna and then had massive gastrointestinal problems. The feedback to Terra Mare that the tuna was apparently no longer okay only resulted in the statement that the fish was “still vacuum-packed and fresh from the metro” and that that couldn’t actually be the case. Too bad!

I really can't complain. Everything was just right :)

Small restaurant that was more than well attended. Accordingly, the noise level was increased. It's probably normal during Advent. The portion size of the octopus was "clear" considering the price. It was also too soft for my taste and the yoghurt took some getting used to. The employees were all very friendly and accommodating.

The Terra Mare is a small but fine restaurant where you can enjoy Spanish and Greek delicacies. We immediately felt comfortable. Although the food and tapas at Terra Mare were excellent, I was deeply shocked by the owner's terrible treatment of the staff. It's hard to truly enjoy the food when you know that the people serving you, trying hard and being friendly, aren't treated with the respect they deserve. Unfortunately, this behavior greatly marred the experience.

We arrived at 10:20pm on Wednesday evening, and even though it says on the internet that it closes at 12:00am, we were turned away because “it's too late”. I recommend changing the times online

Ein kleines gemütliches Lokal mit kleinem Außenbeleuchtung, super nette Inhaber, fantastisches Essen und wirklich schön angerichtete Teller.

Jeg kom ti minutter etter at de åpnet på kvelden (17:40) og da var det allerede gjester, og bordene utenfor var reserverte. Jeg endte derfor opp med å spise inne. Verten var veldig imøtekommende når jeg begynte besøket med en Google Translate-side som forklarte allergiene mine, og jeg fikk god hjelp til å velge en fiskerett (brosme). Sammen med ovnsbakte grønnsaker var denne utsøkt. At det er yoghurt i Tsatziki var det ingen tvil om, at det er melk i yoghurt var det nok tvil om til at jeg måtte sikre meg hva det hvite på tallerkenen var, og at tallerkenen måtte tilbake til kjøkkenet og at retten måtte legges opp på nytt. Det er dette som gjør at jeg ikke kan gi fem stjerner. Jeg ble bedt om å betale 42 € (14/7-24) for brosme og „ett glass hvitvin“, som absolutt var rimelig for så god fisk så langt inn i landet. Jeg brukte rundt 20 minutter på å gå fra sentralstasjonen med tung sekk. At jeg åpenbart var det for å spise og ikke for en helaften var nok grunnen til at de ikke rakk å spørre meg hva jeg syntes før jeg hadde spist opp.

We visited Schloss Favoriten in Rastatt and on the way home we went to TerraMare for the first time based on a recommendation. Not exactly cheap in terms of price, but the quality was convincing.

Tapas were quite tasty, but nothing special. Meat in the main course was very dry and quite expensive for the quality. The trio actually only consisted of pork with a small piece of beef and lamb. The aioli was a mayo. Service was nice, but a bit overwhelmed. The dishes didn't come together. Volume in the restaurant was very, very high. Conclusion: way too expensive. Then go to Tawa Yama in Durchlach. The main course is even cheaper and much higher quality.

Excellent food in a rather upscale price range

Nice little restaurant. Unfortunately there is not a large selection of main courses and the selection of fish on the main menu is only 2 dishes. Disappointing. Starter and main course very tasty. The dessert, however, was partly laughable. "Chocolate cup"...3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, a little chocolate sauce...done. For 8.90 euros, it's almost a disgrace. But as I said...the food was otherwise good. It was very crowded - very loud due to the small space in the restaurant. Considered far too expensive for the experience as a whole package

The owners are accommodating and very nice. If we lived in Karlsruhe, it would definitely be one of our favorite bars. I came here with my fiancée and a close friend that lives in the city and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, the portions offered great value for money and the ambiance was superb. It’s hard to find such fresh and high-quality Spanish food outside of Spain but Teresa and her team have simply nailed it. Highly recommended

We were invited from some friends. I really like the place. I liked more couse it was not a big fancy restaurant but a small family run Restaurant. The food was delicious and they were friendly. I was making stress couse it was our first time going in a restaurant with our baby and i was worried how he will behave but they camed and talk to our baby and asking if we need somthing. It was great.

Thank you for the great evening! We were at Terra Mare with a group of 15 colleagues from all over the world. After a quick consultation and recommendation from the boss, it was clear that we would only order tapas for everyone, spread out over the evening; the food was consistently great. My favorite tapas were sardines and pulpo, followed by roast beef and pepperoni. An excellent wine list at fair prices completes the offer. Conclusion: absolute recommendation, warmth, professionalism and great cuisine are offered here.

From Thursday there will be an expanded fish menu every week. The food is world class and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality offered. I can particularly recommend the zander and the sea bass. PS: It's tempting to eat your way through the Tappa menu. However, ALL portions are quite generous, so I always have trouble eating the whole main course. So be careful, your eyes quickly become bigger than your mouth ;-).

Perfect place if you want to have a quality dinner or lunch. The food was amazing, everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. The service was super warm and friendly. The kitchen provides you to the best mixture of two great cuisines, Greek and Spanish. Highly recommended!

Short and sweet: No question, the food and service were really tasty and good👍; There are deductions for the ambience. Due to the size of the dining room, you sit very close together. It is quite loud so communicating with your partner/friends is very, very strenuous. But this could be controlled by sound-absorbing measures on the ceiling and walls😉.

alles äußerst lecker zubereitet und gekonnt serviert; die Jakobsmuscheln wunderbar zart und frisch, die kleinen gegrillten Sardinen habe ich nirgends so gut gegessen; unbedingt reservieren, ganz gleich, um welche Uhrzeit!

Uns wurde bei der Auswahl der Tapas und der Weine gut von der Inhaberin persönlich geholfen. Essen war ebenfalls frisch zubereitet und hat trotz vollem Lokal nicht sehr lange gedauert.

Einfach nur GROSSARTIG!! Am besten selbst ausprobieren... Sehr gute Qualität, hervorragend umgesetzt. Wir fühlen uns wie zu Hause - herzlich und große Klasse!!!

Immer viel los, was ich selbst immer schätze. So weiß man, dass es gleichbleibend gut ist und einem noch lange erhalten bleibt :) Das essen war traumhaft und die Bedienung war trotz Full House sehr bemüht und hat immer wieder nachgefragt. Es ist ein eher kleines Restaurant was es aber sehr gemütlich macht. Ich komme gerne wieder 👍🏻

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Terra Mare gefeiert und waren leider sehr enttäuscht von der Menge des Essens, da kein einziger von insgesamt 12 Personen satt geworden ist. Das Essen an sich schmeckt gut, jedoch ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut enttäuschend. Es wurde uns zu Beginn eine große Auswahl an Tapas versprochen für 35 € p. P. ohne Getränke. Bei den Vorspeisen hat schon das Verhältnis an angebotenen Tapas zur Anzahl der Personen nicht gepasst. Es wurden uns z. B. 8 Fleischbällchen, 6 Weinblätter und zwei kleine Brotkörbe serviert, was bei einer Anzahl von 12 Personen definitiv zu wenig war. Ebenfalls dabei waren hier zwei dünne Oktopusärmchen, welche mit 35 € abgerechnet wurden. Die Hauptspeise fiel ebenfalls mager aus. Nicht genügend Fleisch/Fisch, sodass jeder am Tisch davon hätte probieren könnte. Noch dazu haben wir eine kleine Schüssel Reis auf den Tisch gestellt bekommen, FÜR ALLE. Auf Nachfrage beim Personal, ob noch Tapas kommen würden hieß es nur, die Zutaten seien alle sehr teuer, es kommt kein Essen mehr nach. Selbst in diesem Falle sollte man nicht an Kartoffeln/Reis/Brot als Beilagen sparen. Für den Service vergebe ich nur 1 Stern, da nach unserer Frage, ob dies das gesamte Angebot sei, kein Mensch mehr zu unserem Tisch kam, um Getränke abzuräumen und Bestellungen aufzunehmen.

Sehr schlechtes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Die Tapas für 35 € pro Person waren viel zu wenig, alle Tapas Esser wurden nicht satt. Von den angebotenen Speisen sollte zumindest für jeden ein kleiner Teil Fleisch oder Fisch dabei sein. 12 Esser und halb soviel Fleisch- oder Fischstücke reichen nicht aus! Bei 12 Essern nur eine kleine Schüssel Kartoffeln und Reis sowie 2 kleine Brotkörbchen für alle sind zu wenig. Einfacher als mit Beilagen kann man Gäste nicht satt bekommen. Außerdem sollte jeder zumindest ein paar kleine Fleischstückchen abbekommen, aber die angebotene Anzahl war hierfür viel zu gering (z.B. 6 Hackbällchen für 12 Esser). Nach unserer Nachfrage, ob da noch was kommt, wurde auf hohe Einkaufspreise hingewiesen und wir wurden anschließend vom Personal ignoriert und nicht mehr bedient. Wenn von 14 Leuten 13 das Restaurant hungrig verlassen, stimmt was nicht! Zumindest bei den Beilagen gilt diese Ausrede nicht!
