Restaurant Tenmanya in Laufenburg (Baden)

A nice little Asian restaurant with food on the track or all karts. The food is good and fresh and the prices are okay too. All in all, we enjoy eating there.

The food was absolutely amazing. You pay per person and eat as much as you want. Only drinks cost extra.

The food was so-so OK, what bothered me was the colored plastic plates/plastic, I prefer white plates 😀looks more appetizing 😀 The service was top Ambiance very nice

The food was better, actually a great Asian but for example the toilets are very dirty and almost everything is broken or old and the cleanliness in general was much better.

Right across the Swiss border, spacious parking place. Good food yet you need to be patent until you see something special on the conveyor belt. Service lady could be a bit less sarcastic.

Unfortunately, the red curry with chicken didn't convince me. For almost 20 euros I only got a few small pieces of meat while the majority of the dish was vegetables. Taste-wise it was okay, but nothing special that really stood out. Given the price, I would have expected a much more generous portion of meat. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was not right here.

Even my mixed food family liked the vegetarian duck in direct comparison to the normal duck next to it. Very fresh vegetables and perfectly fried. Talking about it makes me want to eat it again 😂 Best alternative I've been able to order so far. It could even be ordered without eggs!

The food is delicious and the conveyor belt is always full. Sometimes the selection on the tape is a bit one-sided.

For me the treadmill is a highlight. It has always been very tasty and fresh. I can highly recommend the restaurant to everyone, but you should make a reservation in advance.

We ordered from the menu, every dish was missing that certain something, it was salty and spicy, but somehow had no taste... the soup also. We're not used to Asian cuisine. The price would be good, but that's no use. Too bad.

Great food, very appropriate portion sizes

Today we were able to enjoy a super delicious lunch. Even though they don't open until 11:30, I received a very friendly welcome when I made a reservation for us at 11am. Thanks. The food was super tasty. Buffet was very awesome. Service was quick and decent. Everything was fine. The only drawback, when taking in the food they said that children up to 16 cost 11 euros and adults 15 euros, but instead of two adults and three children they booked three adults and two children. My 13 year old is a vegetarian and hasn't eaten much. The adult price wasn't entirely correct.

It was OK The food was bland and had little taste. Attention, we had plated meals and not the buffet or similar. The service, on the other hand, was very, very good, friendly and accommodating. Overall ok, I wouldn't necessarily come again or if I did to try out the buffet. By the way, the starters were good, exactly as expected, fried and tasted the same

I've been to Tenmanya several times and have to say: the food and service are top.

We came from an event at 9:30 p.m. and wanted to eat something. We were greeted politely and given a great menu. No other restaurant still had the kitchen open. Many, many thanks. We'd love to come back. 👍 👍 👍

Hello everyone. We were greeted warmly and the treadmill was full but luckily we made a reservation. The food was good but where we came there was only sweet for 30 minutes and very little salty :/ Since we were at the end of the treadmill we didn't have that much of it either. It was better to say from the start when making the reservation that you want to sit at the front of the treadmill . Wherever we wanted something sweet there was almost nothing, only salty which was annoying. At the end, before we were finished, we were asked if we wanted to have a meal of our choice, but unfortunately at the end... Otherwise lots of parking spaces and friendly staff! Would go again. It's fun to try so many different things!

Well known restaurant for the Swiss located at the border. Reasonable price for their kaiten (sushi conveyor belt) serving many kind of Asian food to opt for your buffet. Recommend to make reservation on Saturday and Sunday, time limit for buffet is 1.5 hours then you can move to ala carte table.

The service is very friendly and accommodating. I had a spring roll as a starter, chicken sweet and sour with rice and vegetables as a menu and my husband had duck in hot sauce with rice and vegetables. The atmosphere is pleasant and our food was really tasty and inexpensive. It was also attractively presented. You can tell that everything is freshly cooked. We'd love to come back. Thanks

Very friendly and attentive staff. This was my second time eating there. I can only rate the food in the sushi area. Great quality and excellent selection. Then why not 5*? Yes, I'm actually wondering that too, but I always had a dear friend as my guest who goes by the name Klo. The others in my group had no problems. I suspect that I can't tolerate something in the food. Next time I'll have to choose the plates better.

We were there as a family of 4. The food was very tasty! My husband and both children chose the lunch buffet. I chose a menu from the menu. Lots of different dishes at the buffet. There is also delicious food for the children. The menu selection is also large. Service was great and very friendly! We will come more often.

Actually it was quite ok... but I still can't give it full stars! After an hour of relaxing and eating, the waiter came 3 times within 5 minutes to ask if we wanted to pay 🤷‍♀️ After asking the third time, we realized that it was an allusion to leave! Then we paid too.

If i could give 0 stars, i would… We made a reservation and had to wait more than 30 minutes until we were seated. There were at least 4 couples seated before us even though they arrived after we had…

The best food stamp far and wide. The running sushi is super good - here you can really fill your stomach with good care. I always enjoy coming here. But because word has already gotten around that the location is really great, you definitely have to reserve in advance.

Take out: Mango Chicken was ok but fried like everything else, Sweet and sour chicken was horrible, HK Duck should not even being named. Either the cook has never been to HK or it’s a very long time ago. Very disappointing! If you really enjoy eating and the taste of authentic Asian food as much as we do, choose another restaurant ! Price and taste as well as price and value do not add up!

An absolutely great restaurant, you can order so many different foods, or go on the treadmill and everything happens quickly. The friendliness of all the employees cannot be surpassed. It's very rare to find something like that these days. We like to go there. But it's best to reserve in advance. Deserves more than 5 stars.

The service here is top. It's cleared away quickly, we're always asked if everything's okay and it's done in a really friendly way. Unfortunately, eating on the conveyor belt wasn't really our thing. The selection of sushi was ok, not particularly large. The other dishes were 80% fried. We've also been feeling a bit upset since last night, but that was definitely due to the unbalanced meal (all the greasy food). 70€ for two people including two soft drinks hurts.

The atmosphere is very nice! The service is very friendly and often asks if everything is OK. At the end there is a fortune cookie on the house. My meal was à la card, grilled squid, the rice that came with it was typical sushi rice, so it was a bit tasteless.

The best restaurant of its kind far and wide. Very good hygiene, great variety, fresh vegetables, good quality of meat, very good price-performance ratio, friendly and very fast service, good location, enough parking spaces, what more could you want! Bravo!

Eating on the conveyor belt was ok, but nothing special. The staff was very friendly and also attentive. Unfortunately, the toilets were not very clean (sticky floor) and the treadmill was also very dirty. It's a shame for the nice staff, but for us it's just this one visit.

Bedienung war nett, wir waren nach Mittagszeit dort. Frühlingsrollen vegetarisch Waren mittelmässig. Mir scheint, die waren nicht selbstgemacht sonder aus der gefriertruhe. Das huhn süss-sauer war gut, frisches zartes fleisch. Leider nach dem hauptgang sah man keine Bedienung mehr. Die Toilette war nicht sehr gepflegt, noch blut von vorgängerin in toilette weil spülung schlecht. Boden voller Toilettenpapier. Schmudelig. Da gehen wor eher nicht mehr hin.

Very good restaurant, but without a reservation you won't get a seat until later

We were on the treadmill at Tenmanya for the third time on Sunday. Unfortunately, there is now not much left of the initial euphoria. The main reason for complaint was the hygienic conditions. Apparently it has become a habit for some guests to completely and permanently fold up the treadmill covers. As far as I remember, there was a prohibition sign on our first visit. Keyword: hair, cough, droplet infection... etc. It's a shame that the service staff didn't inform and intervene accordingly. But what really doesn't work is when an entire table of 5-10 year olds use the treadmill alone (without supervision). Snack food directly from the plates in places and leave the rest on the conveyor belt. Taking dishes down and putting them back on the treadmill, etc. There are still limits somewhere, and they were definitely exceeded on Sunday. We won't be seeing the inside of the restaurant for quite some time.

We were on the treadmill in first gear. Unfortunately, many of the “dishes” only came in the second course, when we had already finished dessert. And we think the price is a little too much. But it was delicious again 😋

Essen gut, aber..... Zuerst Reservation für am Laufband für 17.30 Uhr nicht gefunden und dann wurden wir um 19 Uhr buchstäblich rausgeschmissen, obwohl bei der Reservation nichts erwähnt wurde.

Our family know that they are usually busy, and made phone call to check if there was a place. The answer was Buffet was full, but we could come if we select from menu. After we came, we were told Buffet was full, and it's ok, we need a table. The total conversation was not friendly, we didn't feel that we were welcomed, no smile, no greetings, even no one came to us for more than 5 minutes. Afterwards, we were still waiting and no one was telling us which table shall we use, another 5 or 10 minutes, we decided to leave.

Für jeden der das chinesische Essen mag und auch gerne ein bisschen was von allem essen möchte, ist dies eine sehr coole Alternative zum Büffet essen! Die Portionen laufen auf kleinen Schüsseln/Tellern am Laufband an einem vorbei und man kann sich bedienen! Kleines Manko, es können nur die zwei Personen die am Band sitzen die Teller/Schüsseln heraus nehmen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und immer sehr zuvorkommend! An das Tenmanya Team, es wäre mal schön wenn die Gerichte mal etwas variieren würden! Ansonsten absolut zu empfehlen! Weiter so. 👏🏼

Das Essen ist lecker und am Laufband abwechslungsreich. Die Mitarbeiter streiten im Restaurant miteinander und die Teller werden ziemlich laut in grosse Tonnen geworfen. Das ist nicht sehr angenehm.

Das Essen ist OK, da es am Laufband läuft kommen manche Sachen eben 5 mal an einem vorbei und irgendwann ist es kalt oder das Eis geschmolzen. Die Auswahl ist Recht überschaubar. 28 Euro pro Person für Running Sushi !
