The food there is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend eating here.

We have ordered kebabs and they were delicious in taste. But , the tips(Trinkgeld) were necessary and the minimum tip was 10 percent which is extremely expensive! I didn’t see such these tips in other Persian restaurant. So , I don’t suggest this restaurant to you.

Their behavior is not customer-oriented at all and they have a bad attitude towards customers.

We had reserved a table for eight people at this Iranian restaurant for New Year's Eve. Initially, only our drink order was taken and served. When we then went to order food, the waiter suddenly told us there was only one portion of koobideh left. We subsequently ordered and ate other dishes. Later, however, we saw that another table was being served koobideh, which surprised and disappointed us. When we inquired, we were told that this table had supposedly called ahead and reserved the food. However, this was not mentioned to us either when we made the reservation or when we ordered our drinks. We found this approach unfair and unprofessional, especially on an evening like New Year's Eve. In addition, there was no baklava with the tea, which we find very unusual in an Iranian restaurant. In the end, we were even charged extra for five dates instead of at least being offered them as a small apology. Overall, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience – especially regarding the way the guests were treated.

One of the worst experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. On New Year's Eve, there was neither reasonable service nor acceptable behavior from the staff – their conduct was disrespectful and completely unprofessional. The quality of the food was abysmal, and we became ill after eating it, which is absolutely unacceptable and worrying. There was no discernible control over quality or staff. We absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

I took out two kebabs and unfortunately when I opened the food at home, there was a medium-length black hair in the middle of the rice. I called the restaurant and informed them and they told me with a very bad attitude that this was impossible. Apart from the other food that didn't have the hair in it, there was also an uncooked skewer of uncooked tomatoes and the rice was only yellow but didn't smell like saffron. Overall, the quality and customer service were zero.

We ate Baghali Polo with lamb shank and Chelo Kabab Tehran. The Baghali Polo was very tasty and flavorful, but the Chelo Kabab could have been better. The restaurant has a cozy, family atmosphere and is recommended.

The owner was arrogant and just gave us strange looks instead of asking if everything was alright or if we enjoyed our meal. The waiter forgot two of the four drinks we ordered, as well as several extras. Instead of attending to the guests, he spent the entire time chatting with an acquaintance at the back table. Very unprofessional. Never again.

Extremely unfriendly service. There were two of us, and we ordered Jooje and Bakhtiari. The chicken was partially undercooked. I left it on the plate so the waiter would see it, but it was simply ignored when clearing the table. I wanted more bread. After I got the waitress's attention and asked for it, and she took the basket away, I didn't receive any more bread. The same thing happened when ordering drinks: I politely called the waiter twice, he nodded, but never came to us. What I also don't understand is this: We ordered Bastani, just like the table behind us. They were asked if they wanted extra sauce, and they received it. We were neither asked nor did we receive anything. That was our first visit there, and it will be our last.

Food was okay, not the best. But staff were not nice and friendly. Their BARG was good, but KOOBIDEH was hard.

Great restaurant. Traditional Persian food...good portion sizes. Varied menu. Excellent quality. I've never been disappointed. Sometimes it's a little difficult to order by phone if you only speak German, but when you're there in person, they're always very friendly!

On my first visit, I was very impressed with both the food and the respectful service from the staff. Since then, I've been there about once a month. Unfortunately, on my last two visits, I found the staff's behavior inappropriate – for example, drinks were placed on the table without a word and quite rudely. The quality of the food has also declined significantly. The kebab was burnt, which was very disappointing. Furthermore, the overall service was poor, and the restrooms were not clean. This is a real shame, as I used to enjoy going to this restaurant.

The food is amazing. We came to this place without any expectation as it was close to our hotel. And we left with a happy stomach and looking forward to coming back.

Today I went to the Teheran restaurant in Hamburg. I came on the recommendation of a friend and traveled from another city. The service was terrible, and I even found a hair in my food. I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends.

We were here for dinner on Friday night. Despite it being very busy, we were lucky and got a table right away. The older gentleman wasn't very friendly, but the rest of the staff was very nice. We ordered an appetizer platter, kebab with rice, and dill rice with lamb shank. Everything tasted good. I thought the portions, especially the rice with the kebab, were a bit small. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. Overall, I recommend this place.

I came to Hamburg for a seminar and wasn't familiar with the city. I stumbled across the Teheran restaurant on Google, and it was a wonderful surprise. The barley soup tasted exactly like my grandmother's soup, and the koubideh reminded me of the famous 'Kebab Yadbood' in Mashhad. After more than 26 years, these flavors awakened memories I thought I had long since lost. Authentic, delicious, and full of nostalgia. The location is also very convenient—very close to Hamburg Central Station—and the restaurant is located in a beautiful, listed historic building. A true insider tip for anyone who loves Persian cuisine.

The food is prepared very quickly and deliciously. Fresh ingredients, and for German palates, it's sometimes exotic. The saffron ice cream or the Persian version of spaghetti ice cream is delicious. An absolute culinary recommendation. The decor is not very nice, but the price is reasonable. I didn't use the restrooms.

I visited this restaurant for the first time during my stay in Hamburg, and I simply wanted authentic and good Persian food. My expectations were completely met. The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Thank you very much for that. I will be back.

Today, around 1:30, I ate at the Teheran restaurant. First, I ordered kebab kubide – the quality of the food was good and the price was reasonable. But there was no toilet paper in the men's restroom. I informed two employees who were on duty at the time, but it was completely ignored. I myself worked in the restaurant industry for many years. During the meal, my drink was empty, but no one asked me if I wanted anything else or if everything was okay. The other guests weren't even asked how they were. Such small gestures are very important: The service staff should know that this not only increases sales but also earns them a good tip. These service tricks are crucial in the restaurant business.

I had Ghormeh Sabzi, Mast-o Khiar. The ambience is fairly good enough, got some Persian vibes. The food didn’t quite feel like authentic Persian cuisine. The have good mirror to take a picture of group.

The owner serves the food herself. You absolutely have to follow her recommendations. She's incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the country and its people. The food is excellent both in terms of quality and quantity. Bottom line: authentic Persian food. Very accessible.

It used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Hamburg, and I went there regularly. Unfortunately, everything has gotten more expensive, and the ingredients have also been changed, making it taste cheaper than a regular restaurant. It doesn't taste the same as it used to; the recipe has been completely changed. I find it a real shame that I have to avoid it now.

The Sultani was delicious. The toilet was dirty.

It was very bad, because it had no good taste, neither kebab nor rice. It was a shame that we went there, seven of us, we threw our money away. When did you put spices and turmeric in the batter? It was dry, undercooked, and spicy. The leaves only tasted like onions, but you couldn't taste the meat. It didn't seem like an Iranian restaurant, and you wouldn't see four Iranians there, and the cooks certainly weren't Iranians either. It would have been better if we had eaten bread and cheese at home than to spend time going to a restaurant.

On Sunday noon it was almost empty. We tried several bbq dishes. Here is the summary: Koobide Kebab (minced meat kebab) was very good. Recommended. Shashlik and Chicken kebab with bones were very poor. Not good marinate, and it did not taste fresh and like original. In addition, there was a hair in the rice. The appetizer “zeytoon parvarde, olives” was so disappointing not even close to the original taste which is made with pomegranate, special herbs, garlic and walnuts. The fresh vegetables and herbs with feta cheese were not fresh. The Dough (yogurt drink) was poor too. More interesting, the guy whom seems to be the owner sitting on a table talking to his staff, was eating a Donner kebab in his own restaurant. It was not a good experience and is not recommended.

It always depends on who's working there as a server, but overall, everyone is very friendly and attentive (the boss? He usually sits there drinking tea and doesn't say hello, but you get used to that). When the restaurant is already busy around 4 p.m. in the afternoon—especially with Iranians—it shows me, as a German, that the cuisine must be authentic. The food is truly delicious, the portions are generous, and the value for money is right! On my last visit last Wednesday, I accidentally entered the wrong number on my order, so a large appetizer plate was served instead of my main course. When I reported my mistake and also wanted to order the main course, the waitress took the "wrong" plate back and said with a smile that my main course would be here in about 10 minutes... Wow, that's truly customer service at its best, especially since it was my mistake! I don't find the restaurant particularly cozy – it doesn't exactly invite you to linger (more of a "hall-like" feel), but if you like delicious Iranian food, you won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back! PS: Don't be surprised – the website offers an option to make reservations online via email... I've done it three times now, but never received a response. The manager? When I asked her about it, she said there would always be room for two or three people. Maybe it was the time of day, because up until now I've always come relatively early – around 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – with two friends. Otherwise, for larger groups and at other times, I would prefer to call to make a reservation.

I think the kebab here is better than any restaurant in Hamburg. It really has an Iranian feel. It's like you've been to Rasht.

Unfortunately, there were so many flaws in the service and the overall experience that the positive impression of the meal was almost completely lost. 1. Service & Customer Relations: Disastrous. Even though we had reserved a table, the staff completely forgot about it. Our orders were constantly forgotten, and we had to ask for everything several times before it finally arrived. The absolute low point: when the herb plate arrived, and something fell on the table while being set down, the waitress simply picked it up with her hand, threw it into my plate, and said, "That's for you." 2. Decor & Atmosphere: Looks more like a chip shop than a restaurant. Zero ambiance, very uncomfortable. 3. Portion sizes: Far too small. For example, the sabzipolo was less than a ladle. However, they had more fish as a side dish, which made the ratio totally unbalanced. 4. Dessert: The traditional ice cream was obviously store-bought, carelessly slapped into a bowl, and unfortunately disappointing in taste. I won't recommend it to anyone.

A restaurant with this name should not only serve great food but also embody true Iranian warmth and cultural richness. There’s potential here—it just needs to be realized.
