Ein guter Ort mit leckerem Essen, freundlichem Service und wirklich fairen Preisen. Das einzige kleine Problem ist die Parksituation.

Das Essen wie immer lecker, ABER die Bedienung (eine Dame) unfassbar unfreundlich und absolut respektlos. Wir haben Brotscheiben im Korb bekommen. Sie hat den Korb von min. 30 cm auf den Tisch geschmissen. Erstmal dachten wir es war aus versehen. Beim zweitenAmal das selbe als würde Sie Kühen Heu zu werfen. Unglaublich!!! Anschließend haben wir Sie etwas beobachtet wie sie das an anderen Tischen macht. Immer das gleiche! Die knallt alles auf die Tische. Auch die Getränke hat Sie auf dem Tisch schlagen. Das ist ein Restaurant. Verstehe nicht warum die Betreiber das tolerieren. Außerdem finde ich es schade dass es ein einem Samstag wenn man mit der ganzen Familie sich schick angezogen hat, auf einmal Männer mit 10 Jahre alten Badelatschen und Jogginghose nebenan sitzen. Gleichzeitig ist im Restaurant ein Verkauf nach draußen (Abholservice). Man sitzt am Tisch und vor einem stehen 20 Männer. Erinnert etwas an Asia-Imbiss. Fazit: Sepideh möchte alles haben und mit allem Geld verdienen, von außen sieht es aus wie ein Restaurant, wird aber eher wie ein Imbiss geführt. Bezahlen muss man auch an der Kasse vorne. Lieferservice/Abholservice/Alles in einem! Essen schmeckt aber sehr gut.

Ein sehr gutes persisches Restaurant mit freundlichen Service. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und wird mit Beilagen im persischem Stil serviert. Alkoholische Getränke gibt es nicht. Die Zutaten im essen und auch in den Getränken wirken extrem frisch . Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen ☺️

Die Qualität des Essens war katastrophal und der Umgang mit den Gästen wirklich schlecht. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

Ich hatte schon lange kein so gutes persisches Essen mehr gegessen. Koubideh war köstlich. Die Portionen waren ausreichend für zwei Personen.

Wer auf der Suche nach authentischer und unglaublich leckerer persischer Küche ist, wird im Sepideh garantiert fündig. Die Grillgerichte sind auf den Punkt zubereitet, super saftig und perfekt gewürzt. Dazu der duftende Safranreis und die frischen Beilagen – einfach ein Traum. Auch der Service ist extrem herzlich, aufmerksam und schnell, sodass man sich sofort als Gast willkommen fühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist authentisch und lädt absolut zum Verweilen ein. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Restaurant jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Saftig und geschmacklich guter Kubideh. Aber das Fleisch ist zu fein gehackt und dadurch wird es zu matschig und hat gar keinen Biss mehr. Es hätte auch ein bisschen mehr Grillaroma haben können. Da gibt es bessere in Hamburg!

Das Kebab Kobideh war köstlich, saftig und nicht zu fettig! Es hat allen geschmeckt. Die Portion war großzügig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Tee wird nur tassenweise verkauft, was etwas ungewöhnlich ist. Für sechs Erwachsene bräuchte man eine große Kanne Tee.

Das beste persische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe! Das Ambiente war sehr schön, die Preise waren sehr günstig, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und die Atmosphäre großartig. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Es war unglaublich! Ich bin natürlich voreingenommen, da ich persisches Essen liebe, aber es war wirklich fantastisch. Ich war mit meiner iranischen Freundin dort, und auch sie war begeistert. Wir bestellten zwei Salate und die Auberginen-Vorspeise. Das Brot hätte ich mir frisch gebacken gewünscht, aber es war trotzdem lecker. Ich hatte Lammeintopf (Ghormeh Sabzi), und meine Freundin bestellte Hähnchen-Kebab mit Reis (siehe Fotos unten). Wir mussten unbedingt den „Dough“ probieren, der so erfrischend war, und natürlich den Tee, der auch sehr gut war. Zum Nachtisch gab es persisches Eis mit „Faludeh“. Ich war pappsatt, aber es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Ich wünschte, wir hätten mehr Trinkgeld gegeben, denn die Bedienung war so nett und zuvorkommend (und schnell!). Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Lärmpegel. Es war definitiv laut, aber das ist in einem Restaurant mit vielen verschiedenen Gruppen zu erwarten (es gab einen Tisch mit über zehn Personen, eine Familie mit Kindern und generell viel Gerede), also sollte man darauf vorbereitet sein. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Das kommt von jemandem, der schon viele iranische Restaurants besucht hat, und von meinem iranischen Freund, der immer hohe Erwartungen an iranische Restaurants hat. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne!

Ich war heute dort das ich eigentlich schon öfter besucht habe. Leider war mein heutiger Besuch alles andere als angenehm. Die Bedienung (Kellnerin) hat bei jeder meiner Bitten das Gesicht verzogen und wirkte insgesamt genervt. Dieses Verhalten habe ich als sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell empfunden. Als ich bezahlen wollte, bin ich wie immer – zur Kasse vorne gegangen. Dort wurde mir plötzlich gesagt, dass nur Barzahlung möglich sei. Ich habe darauf hingewiesen, dass man so etwas entweder beim Reinkommen sagen oder zumindest deutlich sichtbar anschreiben sollte, und nicht erst dann, wenn der Gast bezahlen möchte. Ich erklärte, dass ich kein Bargeld dabei habe. Trotzdem wurde ich mehrfach gefragt, wie viel Geld ich habe, und sogar aufgefordert, meinen Mann zu fragen. Das fand ich absolut unangemessen. Wenn ich sage, dass ich kein Bargeld habe, dann sollte das auch akzeptiert werden. Zusätzlich war das Essen heute leider auch nicht wie gewohnt gut. Insgesamt war der Besuch sehr enttäuschend und unprofessionell.

Eines der besten Restaurants. Mein Lieblingsgericht ist Djudjed Kebab. Das Fleisch ist zart und schmackhaft. Auch der Reis schmeckt hervorragend. Die Safransauce ist das i-Tüpfelchen. Und der Preis ist günstig.

Eine Institution und die Adresse, wenn's um persische Küche geht. Die Gerichte sind ohne Ausnahme und Zweifel dem Ideal entsprechend und schmecken einfach herrlich. Die Portionen sind groß und stillen jeden Hunger, da bekommt der Gast was für sein Geld. Der Service wirkt etwas kühl, unnahbar und reserviert bzw wortkarg. Das ist etwas schade. Das Ambiente ist gut und entsprechend dem persischen "Touch".

Das Ambiente wirkt sehr einladend, genau so der Geruch vom Fleisch. Große Portion, leckeres Essen und professionelles Personal. Persönlich hat mir allerdings eine Beilage oder eine Soße zu meinem Gericht gefehlt. Ich hatte das Lammhackfleisch mit Reis.

Der Service des Besitzers war katastrophal und er war unglaublich unhöflich zu den Gästen! Ich bin extra aus Dänemark angereist, um hier zu essen. Ich hatte vorher angerufen und gefragt, ob ich reservieren müsse. Mir wurde gesagt: „Nein, wir haben genug Platz, kommen Sie einfach vorbei.“ Also kamen wir an. Als wir ankamen, standen 20 Leute vor uns. Als wir dem Besitzer sagten, dass wir mit ihnen gesprochen hatten, meinte er nur: „Einen Moment, dann werden Tische frei.“ Wir warteten zehn Minuten, und alle hinter uns bekamen einen Tisch. Als wir den Besitzer darauf ansprachen, sagte er: „So etwas haben wir am Telefon nie gesagt, und es ist nicht deren Problem. Sie sind ja nicht gezwungen, hier zu bleiben.“ Der Service des Besitzers war jedenfalls unterirdisch, und er dachte nur ans Geld. Wir verließen das Restaurant und gingen rüber ins Restaurant Qasr – dort ist es sehr gut.

Das Personal war unfreundlich. Die Qualität des Essens war gut. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen.

Restaurant Sepideh ist für mich das beste persische Restaurant, in dem ich in Hamburg war und ich habe schon viele ausprobiert. Geschmacklich besser als alle anderen, die ich bisher besucht habe. Preis-Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sprechen auch Persisch, was die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm macht. Man fühlt sich willkommen und wohl Parkplätze kann man in der Umgebung auch finden, was ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist. Das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt, insgesamt war alles in Ordnung Klare Empfehlung

Der Service war unprofessionell. Es gab ein Missverständnis bezüglich der Aufteilung der Rechnung, das sich mit einer kurzen Nachfrage leicht hätte klären lassen. Stattdessen reagierte die Kellnerin mit abweisenden und spöttischen Bemerkungen über meine Englischkenntnisse. In einer internationalen Stadt sollte grundlegender Respekt gegenüber Nicht-Muttersprachlern selbstverständlich sein. Diese Begegnung hat uns unangenehm und enttäuscht zurückgelassen.

The food is of very high quality and the prices are reasonable. It's correspondingly busy with a very diverse clientele. The staff is excellent and very friendly. Therefore, it's very busy during peak hours. I'll definitely be back.

Top Persian restaurant. We had lunch there as a group of three without a reservation. Fast service and great food!

Although the restaurant was very full, we didn't have to wait longer than a few minutes for our order to arrive at the table.

I originally gave a fair 3-star review, but the restaurant decided to remove it, accusing me of defamation. Therefore, I'm now updating my review to 1 star. Deleting honest reviews only leads to artificially high ratings and misleads potential guests—it's disappointing to see this.

The taste of fat in the kebab is very strong. The staff was rude, and the fesenjan dish was clearly made from pre-canned food. When we complained about the taste of the fesenjan, the staff said in a mocking tone, "If you want something better, make it yourself at home." This restaurant is absolutely not recommended.

I've been to Sepideh several times, and the food is always excellent—fresh, delicious, and authentic. You can feel the Persian culture and attention to detail in every dish. This time, unfortunately, the service was a bit reserved, especially from the female staff. Nevertheless, the restaurant remains one of my favorite places for Persian cuisine in Hamburg—I'll be happy to return.

We're regular customers of the restaurant and order this dish regularly, but this time we were really surprised by the small portion of the boneless jodjeh kebab! Very small pieces of chicken and a meager amount overall!

On October 1, 2025, we visited the Sepideh restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was anything but impressive. When we ordered our second drink, it was forgotten – we had to ask for it and wait. We were also charged for tea, which was supposed to be free. What bothered us most, however, was the final part: When we paid – even though we had left a 10% tip – we didn't receive a single "please" or "thank you." Presenting an incorrect bill and then failing to show even basic courtesy is simply unprofessional and rude. You don't make a good impression that way.

Sepideh's quality has declined significantly compared to its former glory. While the food is still delicious, the service and ambiance are a complete flop. We (6 people) had to call the waiter after 20 minutes because no one came. He neither greeted us nor listened properly. Then he brought us the wrong food, and I had to wait 15 minutes for the right dish, by which time the others were almost finished. There was no apology. The atmosphere is loud and hectic, very uncomfortable.

The food here is honestly the best I’ve ever had in Germany – absolutely delicious! The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was cozy, though the music would be even better without YouTube ads. Prices can be a little high, but the quality makes up for it. One small idea: offering a free tea after the meal (like some Iranian restaurants do) would be a lovely touch. Overall, highly recommended!

My first Persian meal – and I wasn't ready. A wonderful culinary journey through the Orient with lamb, chicken, wonderful rice, and saffron ice cream. Plus, tea to finish. Friendly staff, a great menu, fair prices, and very generous portions. Perfect! I also liked the lively, relaxed atmosphere, but that made the noise quite loud. I would go back in a heartbeat.

What I would recommend is friendliness, reliability, and respect, something the waitresses and waiters lack. The kebab was as if it had been grilled several hours ago and was now in front of me. Not recommended.

Sepideh is one of the most famous Persian restaurants in Hamburg, especially among Iranians. Authentic dishes of excellent quality are served here. We were very happy to be able to try Baghali Polo with Mahiche again after a long time. The portions are generous. My sister and I even shared one. The prices are fair for this quality. I highly recommend the restaurant and would return anytime.

Very friendly and good service. My family really enjoyed their kabobs. They had barg and kubideh. The bread for the kabob wasn't fresh, but rather lavash imported from Iran, which was very dry compared to the fresh bread. They served their skewers with rice, which was good. I had baghali polo and kuku sabzi. The rice was extremely oily, and the kuku had far too few herbs. Honestly, it didn't taste like what we're used to from kuku sabzi. I don't think the chef is Iranian. It was delicious, but not authentic. You sit comfortably and are treated kindly. Prices are also fair and reasonable. There's a parking garage nearby. There are very few vegetarian and not a single vegan dish. This is unfortunately a weak point of the restaurant.

We were there today. There were only nine people. We waited 35 minutes at our table for a waiter. In the end, we called one ourselves. Our appetizer arrived after 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that great. I think the service and food were much, much better back then.

Went there today. Dined in with family (Table of 6). Lovely, clean, neat and tidy bathrooms, tables and surroundings. The food, drinks, tea, everything was amazing! Waiters/Waitresses were kind and friendly. I ordered the rice with boneless chicken kebab. My favourite was the rice🍚🧈. Delicious and buttery (only if you use butter given). The kebab was also juicy and flavourful🍡🍡. Best chai (tea) too. You can even optional amke it sweet with the sugar cube given which instantly melt when put into the tea, which I did☕️. The best restaurant for families or large groups to dine in. They provide everything , even high chairs for small children, toddlers and babies. Prices are also pretty decent. Would definitely go back if I had the chance to! 👍😋🙏Would highly recommend for all ages and group sizes. And to the waiters/waitresses: Besiar ziat taskakor bhar e zamatai e tan! ✨️❤️✨️

Wow, DELICIOUS. My first time in Hamburg, didnt even knew there were Persian restaurant jn here. This place was right across my hotel. Went there for lunch, place was fairly full, indicating of good food. I ordered a large dough,( yogurt drink) and by large it was .5 L and boy was it delicious. Starter i ordered barley soup, and it did not disappoint. Maybe was a bit small. 😅 For the main course i got the soltani plate, and i was very happy with the quality of the filet and the koobideh ( ground beef). The rice was also perfectly cooked. If I could make 1 small recommendation it would be to serve a better bread, or at least warm the bread before serving. Other wise 10/10 Definitely check the out.

The quality of the food was below expectations. We waited on the street for three-quarters of an hour to get a table, as dogs aren't allowed there. You have to sit outside. An important point for dog owners.

I went to Sepideh Restaurant with a friend for lunch today. Although we were looking forward to a pleasant meal, our experience was unfortunately marred by the atmosphere. The entire restaurant was extremely loud. This was due not only to poor acoustics, but also, and above all, to the volume of other guests. It was almost impossible to have a normal conversation at our own table without having to shout at each other. A quiet and relaxed meal was unfortunately out of the question under these circumstances. We felt like we had to finish quickly to escape the noise. That's a shame, because it's impossible to fully enjoy the meal. If you value a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, this is unfortunately the wrong place for you.

We ordered fesenjan and kebab kobideh, the kebab kobideh was much thinner and tasted very fatty. And the fesenjan stew was completely canned food. Because I had bought canned fesenjan stew before, it had exactly the same texture and taste. I don't think stews should be ordered.

WARNING! This place is trying to kill you with food that's too delicious. The portions are very generous and simply too delicious to stop eating. I must have consumed 2000 calories in an hour. I had quite a stomach ache afterward. Not for the faint of heart! Simply too delicious to be true!

This was definitely authentic Persian cuisine, and we received a very friendly welcome. The food was delicious. I'm not used to eating lamb, but it was absolutely wonderful. There was no aftertaste; I would have mistaken the meat for beef. The service team was very attentive.

Delicious, spicy food in a not-so-pleasant atmosphere. Loud, hectic, and therefore not suitable for a cozy evening. Unfortunately, the portion of meat to rice is disproportionate, as the plate is mostly covered in rice. Still, nothing to complain about in terms of taste!
