Eating here was a wonderful experience! The food was amazing on every level! Starters great, the bread amazing, tagine delicious. The lamb shank, which is probably only available on Fridays, is amazing! And then I haven't mentioned the people in the restaurant yet. Everyone was super nice, accommodating and simply warm. Everything is just right here. Recommendation: definitely reserve in advance!

Moroccan tagine in the heart of Frankfurt. The owner was a very friendly person and the staff were exceptional. The texture and flavor take you to northern Morocco.

As a Moroccan, I will not recommend this restaurant to locals or people living in this country. For my birthday I decided to eat there with my friends. We didn't like the food at all and unfortunately hair was found in the food. I also find the service very unfriendly, as we weren't even asked whether we enjoyed our meal or whether we needed anything else.

A sweetheart in the spa town. I am glad to have discovered this treasure. Very friendly staff, delicious dishes with fresh, oriental spices. And the homemade bread is a dream and smells so good. I would love to go back here and let myself be pampered with culinary delights.

A small but fine Moroccan restaurant with few seats but excellent cuisine and a super hospitable team. I travel a lot around the world and I have to say that you could hardly receive warmer service. The food is authentic and very tasty - above all, the full range of spices from Moroccan cuisine is used and it is fresh. Special praise for the poached egg, which you would expect to find in such perfection in an upscale restaurant. We'd love to come back. 🍵

The tajine lamb shank (only on Fridays) with plums, apricots, almonds and orange blossom water tasted excellent. The meat was so tender and juicy. The sauce with fruit and almonds was a perfect culinary delight. I haven't eaten so well in a long time! Cozy atmosphere and warm service from the boss!

We ate there today with a larger group and were very satisfied overall. There is a diverse selection of traditional Moroccan dishes and, unlike many other Moroccan restaurants, the tagine is actually prepared in a tagine pot, which gives the whole thing its unique taste. The other dishes are also very tasty. The owner and the waitress are super friendly and the ambience is nicely furnished and decorated in Moroccan style. We will definitely come back.

Because of the many good reviews, we went there today and ordered a tagine with minced meatballs and a tagine with beef and vegetables. There was also home-baked bread. 5 out of 5 stars for everything, super tasty, and really something different. We will definitely come back. Service very friendly, nice and accommodating. Tajine is a braised dish, so it takes some time to prepare, but it's worth every second of waiting!

Lovely restaurant. We had a party of eleven and the owner made sure we were very welcome. We had hummus, tagines and grilled food followed by Moroccan treats and tea. We were served good beer and wine. The whole meal came to about €30 a head and was our best meal during our trip to Germany. Definitely try this restaurant!

Food and service are "ok" (not great) and it feels more like a tourist trap than a Moroccan restaurant. Would not go there again.

Food is okay but card payments are only possible with “Girocard” and drinks are incredibly expensive.

Wir wollten spontan Essen gehen, mal nicht europäisch, haben nach Alternativen gegoogelt und haben dabei das Tajine gefunden. Von außen eher unscheinbar, innen klein, aber fein. Der Inhaber und sein Team super nett, aufmerksam, eben typisch marrokanische Gastfreundschaft. Vom Essen waren wir richtig begeistert, alles frisch gekocht, aromatisch mit tollen Geschmacksvariationen. Alles fein aufeinander abgestimmt. Preis/Leistung ist super. Wir waren begeistert und können es nur weiter empfehlen.

This restaurant is a real gem. We went with no reservations and walked in at about 7pm. There were two of us. The restaurant appeared to be full but we were eagerly greeted and seated immediately. We were given recommendations from the menu which turned out to be delicious. Portions were large and both the salad and entrees were excellent. If this restaurant was in my hometown I’d certainly be a regular. The staff were hard workers and kept track of our needs. I’m not an easy rater but this high rating was well deserved.

Friendliness top. Food was OK. Prices for drinks are absolutely overpriced: small cola...really small 0.2 for 3.50 euros, water 0.7 for 7 euros. Considering that it is more of a snack bar than a restaurant, the drink prices are not acceptable.

We've been going to the tagine for years. Every time you are warmly welcomed. There is a very familiar atmosphere in which you can only feel comfortable. The food is also very tasty. I can definitely recommend taking the hummus as a starter. All the other main courses are delicious across the board. Price-performance ratio very strong. However, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance because the restaurant is usually busy.

Ich habe für meine Geburtstagfeier mit der Familie ein Tisch für das Abendessen am 5. März um 18:15 telefonisch am 29.02.2024 um 18:33 reserviert. Am 5. März, eine Stunde vor dem Termin habe ich zufällig im Internet gelesen, dass das Restaurant geschlossen ist! Ich musste innerhalb 1 Stunde einen neuen Lokal finden und alle Gäste informieren. Von dem Restaurant Tajine habe ich keine Information bekommen, dass die Reservierung storniert wurde. Auf meinen Anruf drei Tage später wurde mir gesagt, dass die Reservierung angeblich per Email storniert wurde: " er kann mir es schwarz auf weiß beweisen". Auf meine Anfrage, auf welche Email-Adresse die Absage geschickt wurde, habe ich eine neue Ausrede bekommen, dass auf der Reservierungsliste nichts steht und ich angeblich nicht reserviert habe, weil der 5. März einen Ruhetag war. Keine Entschuldigung, nur Ausreden! Unmöglich Umgang mit den Kunden! Nie wieder!!!!

Very tasty Moroccan dishes. The atmosphere is also very pleasant and cozy. But what we like best is the warm and friendly nature of the owner. You feel like an old friend from the first visit. We always enjoy coming back. Absolute recommendation.

We went to this restaurant “on a whim” and were completely positively surprised by the food and service. Rarely have I had such good fried sardines and prawns. The couscous with raisins as a contrast was brilliant.

Extremely great service, the main courses were very tasty. Both soups and starters were a bit lacking in taste, but the meatballs were a bit salty. The tea was presented very well but the taste wasn't that good either (but that's entirely an individual matter)

Wir waren bereits mehrmals im Tajine Essen und das Essen war jedes Mal super. Gleichbleibende Qualität über einen längeren Zeitraum ist bei vielen Restaurants leider selten, beim Tajine ist es aber der Fall. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Inhaber bedient selbst und ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam.

A real asset! A large number of restaurants with various national cuisines are concentrated around the Old Town Hall. This restaurant, which looks somewhat inconspicuous from the outside, is a real surprise and a culinary addition to the scene. Traditional Moroccan cuisine from the tajine, the clay-fired casserole. Even the starters are a poem: excellent, homemade hummus - after that they won't touch the vinegar-sour copies from the shelves of German supermarkets. Delicious soups, bread, olives, tagine dishes... everything is served on plates that are a feast for the eyes in themselves. Here we cook and serve with passion. Full points!

Mein erstes Mal marokkanisch. Es war fantastisch. Das Essen köstlich. Für mich ein Drama als ich leider schon satt war. Ich hätte so gerne noch weiter gegessen, weil meine Gerichte so lecker waren. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Es hat sich angefühlt als würde man bei Freunden essen. Jederzeit wieder. Am liebsten sofort.

Sehr leckeres Essen, egal welches Gericht wir probiert haben und wir waren mit 6 Personen da und haben Vor- und Hauptspeise gegessen. Der Service war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war ein sehr familiäres Gefühl dort zu essen. Große Empfehlung!!

Per Zufall sind wir in dies nette Restaurant gestolpert. Es war für einen Samstag mittag ausgesprochen gut besucht. Somit dauerte es auch etwas, aber das Warten hat sich sehr gelohnt. Zunächst wurden wir gefragt, ob wir für die gerade eingekauften Dinge eine Tasche brauchten, die dann auch umgehend kam. Das Esssen war ausgesprochen lecker und der zusätzlich erfragte Reis, hätte allein eine gute Speise darstellen können. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich und war damit geradezu ein Botschafter der Freundlichkeit des Landes. Auch die leise im Hintergrund spielende Musik und das Ambiente des Raums waren ausgesprochen angenehm. Wir würden öfter kommen, wenn wir in Bad Nauheim leben würden, so kann man nur viel Erfolg wünschen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und gleich begeistert: Das Essen ist wirklich spitzenmäßig, die Atmosphäre stimmt und die Gastwirte sind zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Ich habe in dem Restaurant so viele Speisen lieben gelernt von denen ich dachte ich möge sie nicht. Ich habe zum Beispiel noch nie Hummus gegessen der mir geschmeckt hat - dieser war legendär...und das Brot erst. Jegliches Fleisch war super lecker gewürzt, auch das Personal war mega sympathisch. Und der Nachtisch - ich komme garnicht aus dem schwärmen raus. Ich freue mich aufs nächste Mal - das ist die lange Anreise für mich ohne Zweifel Wert. Wir waren mit einigen Leuten da und jeder Einzelne war hin und weg.

Ein Fest für die Sinne! Der Chef kochte selbst und wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit mit heißem gewürztem Tee, Fastensuppe, gegrillten Merguez (Lammwürstchen) und geschmorter Lammhaxe (mit Aprikosen, Pflaumen, Quitten und Feigen). Alles war super lecker und der Wirt sehr freundlich. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Ma(h)l.

Ich kann nur eins dazu sagen ihr müsst auf jedenfall dahin und euch davon überzeugen lassen. Ich lasse euch ein paar Bilder da und ich werde definitiv nicht das erste mal dort gewesen sein. Ich war zum 2. mal im Restaurant Tajine essen und bin wieder zu 100% zufrieden. Das Essen war wieder super lecker und kam schnell obwohl das Restaurant voll war. Der Minztee ist wie letztes Mal einfache Spitze und der Service sehr sehr gut und freundlich man fühlt sich wie zu Gast bei Freunden. Es gibt nur einen Stern Abzug beim Ambiente weil es etwas Imbiss Charakter hat mit der großen Theke aber dafür sieht man was man bekommt. Ich werde immer wieder kommen und kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Wir waren gestern dort essen, das Ambiente ist wunderschön und man fühlte sich direkt wohl. Der Service war in Ordnung, wirkte eher etwas überfordert und bis das Essen kam dauerte es etwas (allerdings war der Laden auch voll). Das Essen war wirklich lecker und mal ein komplett neuer Geschmack und mit neuen Gewürzen, hat uns gut gefallen. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Tee aufs Haus, für die längere Wartezeit. Wir würden wiederkommen👍🏼😊

Von außen ein wenig unscheinbar, aber im Restaurant herrscht eine nette Atmosphäre. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, bekamen wir einen netten Tisch. Der Hummus zur Vorspeise mit Brot war sehr lecker. Da wir schon immer einmal eine Tajine ausprobieren wollten, aber keine ganz konkrete Vorstellung hatten, ließen wir uns davon überraschen. Es hat sich gelohnt! Die Würzung war hervorragend, das Fleisch sehr zart. Die Portion absolut ausreichend. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder, denn es gibt hier noch ganz viele Gerichte auf der Karte, die wir noch ausprobieren wollen.
