Highly recommended. The food was outstanding (we had salmon and saltimbocca alla Romana) and the starter (vegetarian tartare) was divine. Service was excellent, the restaurant was beautiful; we were completely impressed.

I'm here on a business trip and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant by chance. The food is a welcome departure from the usual pizzerias—simply fantastic, authentic Italian cuisine beyond pizza and spaghetti. If I ever find myself here again, I know where to find excellent food! A very good upscale restaurant with delicious food. The prices are a bit higher, but the food, service, and ambiance are worth it :) There was also a delicious welcome from the kitchen beforehand. The ingredients also show that everything is of good quality. We'd be happy to go back anytime.

We had a family celebration there. Friendly, especially child-friendly, and flexible! Simply fantastic and highly recommended.

A very chic restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine and truly friendly staff. A big plus: It's also open on Mondays, and there's parking right in front. Many thanks to Silvio for the lovely family photos.

All in all, it was like being at an Italian family's place. 😘 Unfortunately, I couldn't find any pizza on the well-maintained menu. By definition, a trattoria should simply offer food. This menu is rather upscale. The prices are too. We felt welcome and would gladly come back.

The wine, the food, the service very attentive and friendly everything was great and the price worth every cent

We were there for a family lunch with our dog, the service was lovely, the food was delicious. Just don't order plain water in a bottle for 6 €, our was in a bottle from sparkling water and it was obviously poured in.

It was my first time there and I felt very comfortable. The food, especially the noodles, was cooked to perfection. It certainly won't be my last time.

It's right on the street, but it's not a nuisance. Even with the windows open. We went there for dinner, and it was excellent. From the bruschetta to the grilled octopus to the pistachio soufflé, everything was top-notch. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant's Italian flair is also evident in the Italian staff. Highly recommended, I'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, today was not a good day for the quality of Italian cuisine in Bad Nauheim. We ordered basics: 1x Italian salad, 1x a pizza margerita, 1x pizza bread and 1x aioli with baguette. (Price: ~38€) The Italian salad had a good amount of tuna and mozzarella, but it was not seasoned at all, the sauce was gelatinous and thick and had little taste (neither balsamic vinegar nor any other acid). The Margerita pizza also had a good amount of mozzarella, but the dough was soggy from the tomato sugo. The pizza bread was in the oven too long (the edges were very hard and the amount of oregano was excessive). The aioli was scooped out of a 20 liter bucket with a spoon and had yellow spots (dried on the surface). On top of that, the waiting time was 15 minutes more than expected. For the extra waiting time I was offered a drink on the house, which of course should be mentioned as a positive thing. Of course there was still a tip and I have eaten better there before and will order there again. The waiters/restaurant operators are very nice and the interior design is also chic. Nonetheless, I had to come to this review after this disappointing meal.

Hi, I'm from Hamburg and was in Bad Nauheim for 4 weeks. The first and best Italian restaurant I found here. The food is very tasty, it's just not a pizzeria, if you order pasta you get some that are first choice! I give it 5 stars!!

Good modern cuisine. Prepared with love and delicious. Service authentic and very friendly. Process orders quickly. There are a few parking spaces in front of the house. Otherwise in the side streets. Keep it up, I'd love to come back. Many thanks to almost the entire team.

Immediately after eating we were told: “Please pay, we need the table”. To be honest, I've never experienced anything like that before... and it's very rude. The food tasted good and the restaurant is nicely decorated. We had the lasagna twice. Unfortunately, the initially positive experience was overshadowed by the expulsion.

We ate here two evenings in a row. It was very tasty both evenings. Great service. Very much attention to detail.

It was delivered. 1. The floor of the two Pinsa was soggy. 2. In the two salads you simply put the cheese and sausage slices in one piece at a time; cutting them beforehand so that they were edible was not considered necessary. 3. There was a single inedible Gamberi head on the spaghetti - that's just outrageous. All dishes unsalted. This is the second time that the quality has been catastrophic here. With the Gamberi head and all the slices of scallops of cheese in the salad, you don't just feel disappointed as a customer, you feel like you've been shown off. You used to be able to eat here without any problems, but obviously you can't cope with the increasing demand for online orders. I have no idea who made our food, it certainly wasn't a trained chef.

Very cozy restaurant, we were there for dinner with 6 people and were very positively surprised. Starting with Silvio, the very friendly waiter, with whom you can put together your own dish, to the kitchen, which implemented it perfectly (here liver with porcini mushrooms on tagliatelle). The others also enjoyed it very much. This evening was very successful so I decided to go for lunch with my daughter the next day and was able to get very positive feedback from her. So for me it was the best restaurant ever in Bad Nauheim that I was able to get to know during my 6 week stay. Conclusion: Anyone who is in Bad Nauheim and hasn't stopped by has definitely missed something. Thanks Silvio and greetings to your team 😋😘

Great meal for two - recommended tapas

An excellent restaurant that I can highly recommend! The Melanzane alla Siciliana were so exceptional that I have never tasted anything better. The lamb chops also completely convinced me. Particularly noteworthy was the aioli with olives, which was served as a delicious amuse-bouche. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Ordered via Lieferando. So far the food has always arrived on time and still nice and hot. There was probably a new driver today who couldn't find our street. Since the food unfortunately arrived cold, the restaurant immediately prepared the dishes for us and delivered them directly. Big thanks for such a service! The food was, as always, very tasty.

The food was good, some of the main courses (e.g. ravioli, gnocchi) were very clear. At the same time, a huge portion of lasagne was served at the next table 🤷🏼‍♀️ We didn't have a starter and perhaps made the wrong selection. The sherry came with fruit and ice cubes 🤔 Service was good, very friendly, we came from the fair and got a good seat.

About the food...yes. Otherwise it was very restless in the restaurant... the phone was ringing non-stop... and the service staff were constantly scurrying around you because you were sitting very tightly in the restaurant. The food was excellent...really very, very tasty...possibly it would be quieter in the middle of the week.

Last week everything was very satisfactory. Today it's pretty mediocre. Service wasn't particularly attentive. Food was good but portion was definitely too small. But that was then remedied without any problems. I'd still like to go back.

I'm in Bad Nauheim for work and I was hungry. I found the solution in the Portofino: very nice ambience that is reminiscent of a lounge. Very, very friendly staff. Menu with high-quality offerings and a decent selection of drinks. The food was visually and tastefully a delight. The prices are slightly high for Berlin conditions (my home). But Berlin is certainly not a benchmark. There are numerous Italians among the guests. For me this is an indication that the dishes also meet traditional Italian standards. I am happy with my selection. When I come back to Bad Nauheim, it's simple: I'll be back.

Our family had Christmas dinner in this restaurant. The food was okay, the pasta with truffles was a bit too cheese-heavy, otherwise the food was okay. The service was really friendly and tried hard and everything worked, despite the stress of the holiday. Overall recommended, but the price-performance ratio is a bit unfavorable.

I was disappointed because the lasagna wasn't that tasty but there was a lot of fat on the plate. The vegetables in the soup looked delicious, but the soup itself was tasteless. Very unfortunate 😞

Clear recommendation! We celebrated our wedding here 2 weeks ago and were thrilled about 1. the very tasty, beautifully presented and fresh food and 2. the very good service. The employees were super friendly, humorous and accommodating. Renata in particular always put our wedding party in a good mood with a relaxed saying. Just as you imagine good service to be, that's how it was. And 3. about the great ambience. Very modern and nicely decorated. The table decoration with fresh flowers and a beautiful table runner was also very well adapted to the wedding theme. Therefore also very attentive and loving. We are glad we chose this restaurant for our wedding reception. So keep it up and we will definitely come back again. Our wedding guests were all equally thrilled. Clear recommendation!

Food was ok! But what I don't understand and accept is €8 for a bottle of water, which is not acceptable for families with children.

Delicious salad, good seafood pizza! A pleasant complement in the form of olives and warm plums. butter and fresh bread. Everything sounded and looked beautiful, but the veal didn’t do it justice and the dessert wasn’t particularly successful. Apparently the fruit was cut with an unclean knife.

The food is good quality but nothing special! However, the portions are very manageable and therefore, in my opinion, do not justify the high prices! A guest with a normal appetite will definitely not be full given the portions🤷‍♂️. We each had a starter and were just full with the main course🤔 We have eaten at better Italian restaurants and at a much cheaper price! The ambience is completely fine and the staff is friendly and accommodating. For us it was certainly a unique visit.

Went to La Trattoria with 3 people. Ambience very nice. Had a starter and 3 different dishes. All 3 main courses came at the same time. Everything was very delicious. Dishes were quite large so all three of us couldn't eat everything. Service staff was very friendly and accommodating. Price acceptable for a starter, 3 dishes and 3 drinks.
