Today we had the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional buffet. Delicious broccoli soup to start, followed by various appetizers and main courses, culminating in delicious desserts, was all available for a fixed price of under €25. Drinks were extra, which was reasonable. We opted for delicious tea and also tried the savory lassi. For just over €60, two people could eat their fill and be completely satisfied—it's surprisingly affordable. A buffet of this quality, where food is constantly being replenished, hopefully doesn't attract too many customers—I don't want to be booked up next time! The reservation process was excellent. The service was constantly busy but never intrusive. I never once felt like I was missing anything because the kitchen was always replenishing the food. I hope there will be more weekends with this special offer. Thank you for having us!

We went for the buffet. (Every first weekend of the month.) Very tasty, nice selection, everything clearly labeled. You get to try things you wouldn't normally dare to order. 😃

We've eaten here several times before. Today was our first time trying the buffet. The buffet offered a very good selection – delicious soup, several main courses with various meats, rice, potatoes, a variety of vegetables, and breads. Fresh salads and a great dessert were also available. Everything was fresh, tasty, and attractively presented. Personally, I would have preferred it all to be a bit hotter. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

My partner and I have been to the Punjab Tandoori Restaurant twice now, and both times it was fantastic! The chicken is super tender and juicy, and the sauces are a real explosion of flavor. The owner is very friendly, attentive, and patient. We don't understand why it's so empty; this restaurant deserves many more customers! Highly recommended!

There was a buffet. We were able to try so many different dishes, it was simply fantastic. Starter soup, salads, various cold and warm dishes, and a delicious dessert.

I haven't had Indian food in a long time, and today I was really hungry! I ordered the No. 72 chicken and rice with a spicy curry instead of a hot one. It went with a large Fanta. It tasted excellent... kudos to the kitchen! The service is very commendable 👍. Very customer-oriented and friendly. I was surprised by the price 🤣: it was a lunch menu, and instead of €17.90 plus a drink of €3.90, the total was only €13.70! And you can order through LIFERANDO, but unfortunately not all dishes. I highly recommend TANDOORI! If you love Indian/Pakistani cuisine, this is the place for you!

This was our first visit to this city and this restaurant. We received a warm welcome, and our order was taken with enthusiasm. The wait was the usual time while the food was freshly prepared. We enjoyed the food. The waiters were always looking towards the tables, and since we were so pleased with the service, we asked the waiter for his name so we could mention him. Imran was diligent and attentive. We thank you for the pleasant experience and would be happy to return.

Mit andet besøg. En fint indrettet restaurant med en rolig og imødekommende stemning. Man mærker tydeligt, at dette er en familierestaurant på hele holdningen til mad og gæster. Velsmagende og autentisk indisk/pakistansk mad. Store portioner til rimelige priser. I den meget korte ventetid fik jeg serveret en lille fin salat som velkomstgestus. Mine bedste anbefalinger. Og så har Punjap Tandoori i øvrigt 25 års jubilæum i år (2025)

Obs! Hedder punjab tandoori nu - på hjørnet af maurstrasse. Virkelig velsmagende og lækker indisk mad. Vi fik en fantastisk butterchicken, anbefalet af tjeneren, og en mixed grill. Begge retter overgik forventningen, og især butterchicken var himmelsk.

Very good food and quick service

The food was excellent. Served with style and the complex blend of spices to bring a smile to your face. We had the murgh (chicken) tika masala and the vindaloo. As well as the palak and vegetable samosa combo. They were perfect. The outdoor seating was wonderful for a warm june day with plenty of shade and just the right amount of traffic on a Friday night.

It is clear that the host delights in seeing his guests enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful atmosphere with family and friends. The food was delicious, the atmosphere delightful, and the service great. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

The food chapeu bas - lamb in mango sauce with nuts was delicious. A big plus is a free salad of fresh vegetables with delicious dressing. The service was perfect - fast, helpful when choosing dishes and with customers who did not speak German. I appreciated the attention to detail - the food was served in warmers and warm plates, so even though eaten outdoors, it was still really warm. And last but not the least - very aesthetic and clean, pleasant quiet environment outside. For me 10/10

Sehr lecker gegessen mit nettem Service. Salat vorab bunt und lecker. Hähnchen mit Marsalasauce war sehr lecker und reichlich. Blumenkohlknödel mit Nüssen in Currysauce super lecker, nur ein paar Knödel hätten mehr sein können. Wir kommen wieder!

Very friendly service! If you want spicy and good food, you've come to the right place. The soups are highly recommended and I will also try the other starters. The lamb with mushrooms with a very spicy sauce is excellent. But we will also test the other main dishes.

I have been working in Celle for the last couple of days and decided on trying the Greek in Celle, strangely it was closing early so I thought I would try the Punjabi Tandoori. I didn’t realise it at the time but luck was on my side. On entering the establishment I noticed there were only two other patrons, starting to feel I may have may an error in judgement. The waiter was very friendly and switched to English when noting my greeting. He was very knowledgeable about my requirements, nothing too spicy. I asked if I could have chips with my curry, no problem whatsoever. The salad starter was very tasty, followed by my curry and chips. The Nan bread was very enjoyable and large with the curry sauce. I would encourage anyone to at least try the restaurant as I was pleasantly surprised at how much I found the food to be. A little pricey but as I have learned through out my life, you only get what you pay for.

5 stars for location. 5 Stars for food. 0 Star for terrible service. We were seated in the lovely outside area. Sat there for 10 minutes before anyone even greeted us, even though they saw new guests. Waiter did not provide service with a smile, once. Made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Service throughout the entire meal was below par, especially when compared to the other restaurant we ate at in Celle.

Das Essen kam heiß und frisch mit sehr gutem Geschmack. Man kann angeben ob man mild oder scharf möchte. Der Reis ist besonders aromatisch und köstlich. Für Vegetarier und Veganer ein Paradies. Das Naan Brot ist auch sehr zu empfehlen (ein Naan ist sehr groß und lässt sich gut durch zwei teilen). Die Preise sind für die Grösse der Portion sehr angemessen. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen wieder ✨
