Wir essen vegetarisch/vegan, daher können wir zu den Fleischgerichten nichts sagen. Aber was die fleischfreien Gerichte angeht, ist das Tadka einer der besten, wenn nicht gar der beste Inder in ganz Kassel. Einfach nur köstlich! Die Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten ist toll, das Naan super lecker (vor allem das Aloo Paratha mit Kartoffeln lieben wir!). Die Einrichtung ist optisch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Vorher war dort wahrscheinlich mal ein bürgerliches Restaurant. Aber das tut dem Restaurantbesuch keinen Abbruch, weil das Essen einfach fantastisch ist. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und wenn es nicht gerade vollbesetzt ist, sind die Wartezeiten auch nicht sehr lang. Im dez gibt es übrigens jetzt auch einen kleinen Imbiss, der zum Restaurant gehört und eine Auswahl der gleichen Gerichte anbietet. Ebenfalls sehr lecker! Truly one of the most authentic Indian Restaurant in Kassel trust me an Indian is telling this they have tasty food I tried their egg Burjee (which is not on the menu) it was soooooo it had the right amount of spice and was not too oily (which I really liked) Apart from that the staff is so friendly and nice they made us feel very comfortable Recently I also ordered from them via Uber Eats food and enjoyed their tasty food at home Regards and keep up the great work you all do

Located right in the city center of Kassel, you will find an expandable restaurant with Indian cuisine. The dishes we chose (one with chicken, one vegetarian) were very tasty and recommended. The enjoyment of the food was not spoiled because of the somewhat sparse amount of rice, but because after we asked for a little more rice, we had to wait ten minutes for it, despite repeated reminders. Of course the rest of the food was cold. And that with four operators and an only moderately busy operation. Unfortunately, we also have to agree with other reviewers regarding the rather modest atmosphere. Rather inappropriate given the location in the city. The prices correspond to the current level and are probably also due to the local city location.

Delicious Food, Great vegan options, especially the Aubergine-Potatoe Curry was a class of its own. Would say topten Indian restaurants in Kassel and Berlin

For me the best Indian in town. We were there for the first time and were totally pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely great. Price performance also great. The service was super friendly. Actually you can only work on the ambience here, the rest was great.

Ordered take out and they didn’t remember my order so I had to wait. But they gave me a discount for the delay and the food was delicious.

Food is okay but the owner seems to have to celebrate Putin and offers a “Russian Putin Power” cocktail. The waitress couldn't explain it

Super charming team, responds to explicit customer requests. A little too generous with salt and a little too sparing with spiciness for my taste. . The taste is still convincing. That's why we visited the Tadka again. . My tip: go there in the evening and don't eat anything the whole day before. . Because: I am a really heavy eater, but I always get full from a single meal. . Bon appetit.

Very cozy, extremely tasty food, but we had to wait about an hour. Since it's just a small restaurant, there was quite a bit of space, but as I said, the food made up for it all. The service is really very friendly. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Very tasty, inexpensive food, there are vegan and vegetarian dishes. Generally small menu, but tasty. Would come back at any time.

Budget Indian Good prices considering the location and portion sizes. The dishes were quite tasty, although served without pizzazz and special side dishes. The naan bread for the Tikka Massla was largely burnt and was returned without replacement. Two points deducted for 50 minutes of waiting for a lukewarm meal and snippy service (the lady with the headscarf, her colleague, was much more professional). The waiting time in relation to four occupied tables does not speak for the organization of the restaurant. The ambience is neither Indian nor does it invite you to linger for a long time. The interior reminded me very much of the Macedonian Balkan restaurant that I visited in the same location almost 20 years ago. CONCLUSION: Good for hunger if you have enough time, not for a well-groomed person Evening in company.

Unfortunately the service is subpar. Sometimes you don't see any service for half an hour. The starter was ok, the rest didn't convince me.

The food was freshly prepared and tasted very tasty. The service was also friendly and impeccable. Despite all of this, we would probably not come back because we found the atmosphere (seating, lighting, noise in the next room) to be uncomfortable, which is why we deducted one star.

Best Indian ever! Aloo Gobi Masala and Aloo Baingen are highly recommended, especially for vegans But of course also the Garlic Naan and the Mango lassi Prices are absolutely fine

Four of us visited this restaurant for the first time in February 2024. We had the main courses 38 and 41 (just a plate of meat, no side dish for more than 20 euros!) plus there were three sauces that we always got as a starter at Indian restaurants, even in India. We also had the thali as a starter, number 9 (we thought it was like always with Indian: 3-4 main courses in small bowls, 2-3 different sauces, rice etc) and garlic naan, which didn't taste like garlic and wasn't that soft was how we know naan. The thali was a huge plate of fried vegetables, chicken and fish, with the same three sauces as the others (see photo). Generally very disappointing, unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. The atmosphere was ok, the service was nice. We ordered the chai at the end, which unfortunately tasted mainly like water with a dash of milk and a little spice. I'm not comparing the food directly to the food in India, but compared to all the Indian restaurants I've visited in Germany, this was the worst. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing...

Wir hatten die Hauptspeisen 38 und 41 (einfach Teller mit Fleisch, ohne Beilage für mehr als 20 Euro!) dazu gab es drei Sossen die wir immer sonst als Vorspeise beim Inder gekriegt haben, sogar auch in Indien. Wir hatten auch noch das Thali als Vorspeise, Nummer 9 (wir dachten das ist wie immer beim Inder: 3-4 Hauptspeisen in kleinen Schalen, 2-3 verschiedene Soßen, Reis usw) und Knoblauchnaan, der nicht nach Knoblauch schmeckte und nicht so weich war wie wir Naan kennen. Das Thali war ein riesengroßer Teller mit frittierten Gemüse, Hähnchen und Fisch, mit denselben drei Soßen wie bei den anderen (s. Foto). Generell sehr enttäuschend, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns leider nicht gestimmt.. Die Atmosphäre war ok, die Bedienung nett. Wir haben den Chai am Ende bestellt, das hat leider hauptsächlich nach Wasser mit einem Schuss Milch und ein wenig geWürze geschmeckt. Ich vergleiche das Essen nicht direkt mit dem Essen in Indern, aber verglichen mit allen indischen Restaurants, die ich und Deutschland bisher besucht habe, war das das schlimmste.

The food was very tasty, hence 5 stars but 2 stars deducted for service. I would like to mention that we had a very unpleasant experience. We wanted to go here for lunch on a working day. Since the restaurant was 10 minutes away from our workplace, we called well in advance and placed the order. Other work colleagues then wanted to join us, so we called twice to place the further order and to say that we would pick up the food. When we were there, the receptionist told us that she was only putting the order in the kitchen now because she wasn't sure if we were coming. THEN THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD THAT ON THE TELEPHONE THAT SHE WOULD ONLY GIVE THE ORDER TO THE KITCHEN WHEN WE GOT THERE. Then we wouldn't have even tried to get this far. A lunch break is 30 minutes long - it should be clear if you order by phone at lunchtime and say you're in a hurry, that you're doing it for working reasons and not because you enjoy annoying people with calls. And it's even cheekier when the receptionist blames our colleague. Nevertheless, I give 3 stars because the kitchen tried hard and cooked deliciously. It's a shame, we wanted to come back later for dinner with 25 colleagues but after this experience we went to the other Indian place.

Wir waren heute erstmals zum Mittagessen hier und sind vom Essen selbst begeistert. Beide veganen/vegetarischen Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und auf Wunsch wurde zum Abmildern der Schärfe zügig Raita nachgereicht. Den Servicemitarbeiter haben wir als sehr aufmerksam und freundlich empfunden. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist im Vergleich mit anderen indischen Restaurants im Kasseler Raum kaum zu toppen. Sicherlich könnte man das Ambiente deutlich indischer/bunter und weniger kneipenorientiert gestalten. Indische Musik, bzw. entspanntere Hintergrundmusik würde dem Ambiente ebenfalls gut tun, denn die ziemlich laute und beatlastige Disco-Musik hat doch eher etwas von Cocktailbar oder Kneipe :-) , daher gibt es Abzüge beim Ambiente. Dennoch werden wir wiederkommen, denn das Essen ist wirklich phantastisch!

Sehr leckeres Essen und gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Der Service war sehr nett und die Auswahl an Gerichten ist genau richtig. Lediglich das Ambiente passt nicht so ganz zum Konzept aber es ist dennoch Recht gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt überragend gut und wird sehr schön präsentiert. Das Auge ist ja immer mit. Der Service ist super, man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast. Ich esse hier öfters und kann es wirklich weiter empfehlen!

Gutes indisches Essen. Top Preis-Leistung. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten zwei vegane Gerichte (14&15), 2 Getränke und eine Vorspeise für insgesamt 32€. Das Ambiente ist etwas verwirrend, aber das Essen ist super und der Service ist toll! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Un buenísimo restaurante de comida hindú. Pedimos para compartir un Mix Pakoda Thali, con cantidades generosas y todo riquísimo. De principal mi preferido es el pollo korma y este ha sido el mejor que he probado. El equilibrio de sabores estuvo perfecto y, además, fue de fácil digestión. He probado el plato de cordero que no me acuerdo el nombre y también estaba muy bueno, bastante picante. El vino blanco seco hindú y estuvo también muy bueno.

Nette Leute, sehr leckeres Essen. Schnelle Küche. Leider war kein alkoholfreies Bier mehr da, als fahrender Pragmatiker habe ich mir halt ein Mango-Lassi bestellt. Da das Essen so lecker war, dennoch 5 Sterne. Man soll ja keine Erbsen zählen. Wir hatten Pakora. Sehr gute Dips dazu. Dann Knoblauchbrot zu 3€, das fast schon allein satt macht. Wir waren heute mit dem Gutscheinbuch im Tadka lecker indisch essen. Vorspeise Nr 1 und 3 sowie eine Hühnersuppe und das Gericht Nr 38 und 39 waren frisch, lecker und reichlich. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Parken kann man gut am Karlsplatz. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Ambiente. Service war ok.

Sehr gutes indisches Restaurant. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Ambiente gemütlich. Sowohl meiner indischen Freundin als auch mir haben das Essen in diesem Restaurant sehr gut geschmeckt. Meiner Meinung nach hebt sich dieses Restaurant geschmacklich deutlich von dem anderen indischen Restaurants in Kassel ab. Das Butterchicken ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Essen und Service waren wirklich sehr gut und es gab absolut nichts zu bemängeln. In sachen Ambiente ist noch Luft nach oben und es geht noch Wesentlich Orientalischer.

Wir waren mit den Gutscheinbuch dort. Essen war fantastisch. Selten so gut indisch gegessen. Wir hatten beide Garnelen. Nummer 33 und 34. Service und Ambiente bekommen 4 Sterne, da wes etwas länger gedauert hat und die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Es gab ein leckeres Essen, das leider jedoch zum Teil etwas verbrannt war. Mein Begleiter beklagte zudem seine Menge an Fleisch und hätte sich etwas mehr Hähnchen gewünscht. Insgesamt war es aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Dies ist ein kleines gemütliches Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Trotzdem muss ich leider einen Stern abziehen, da das Personal nicht vom Fach ist (man wird z. B. nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, nachdem man angefangen hat zu essen) und die ein oder andere spricht nicht ganz so gut deutsch, somit gibt es auch mal Verständigungsprobleme.

Вкусная кухня, но увы обслуживание хуже ,,приветливых немцев,, атмосфера тоже увы простой забегаловки , но с ценами ресторана . В пустом ресторане просидели в ожидании супа 30 минут , попросив счет официант то и делал что пытался уговорить заказать еще к тому же в счете сделали ошибку добавив лишние блюдо! Я не вернусь !

Two points to criticize: - My dish was named very spicy in the menu but it was not burning hot. Don’t be shy with spices, also Germans like it - after we finished dinner, it took ages until we got the bills But all in all, I would definitely go there again
