This is a truly rustic country inn, very tasty, and we'd happily return. Very good value for money. Small menu, but everything you need.

Attention: No card payments in the restaurant or in the accommodation! The food in the restaurant was freshly made (schnitzels are made in-house in the kitchen). The portions were large and the taste was great too. Price/performance is great! The rooms are a bit old, but still clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there are only 2-person rooms. Not ideal for families. The four of us then had 2 rooms and the kids could also go into each other via the hallway. It only works from a certain age. (Ours were happy to spend the night without parents. And with our own TV too 😅)

The food is very tasty, but sometimes you have to wait a little longer. The cook is alone in the kitchen and makes everything fresh. But it's worth the wait.

We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the location (very quaint), the hospitality (the host is fantastic and his wife is an excellent cook), and the superb food. You feel at home from the very first moment – ​​the host has a dry sense of humor, and we laughed a lot. Every dish we ate there tasted delicious and was lovingly prepared. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

I can't say anything about the rooms. We were there for dinner. The onion roast is highly recommended. Price-performance unbeatable.

We moved from Friedrichshafen to Hoßkirch about a year ago and are always looking for nice pubs and restaurants in the area. That's how we came across the Sternen inn. An old inn and interior like back then, as I know it from my childhood, but everything is immaculately clean and very well maintained. The food was really great! (Greetings to the nice French cook) There were four of us and we each ate an onion roast with a side salad. The mixed salad was to die for and the main course was very tasty. Delicious sauce and great meat from Angus beef. You, the cook and the innkeeper run the shop, restaurant and guest room as a couple. Highest respect! Very nice people. My recommendation. We'd love to come back!

The food cannot be rated with 5 stars, at least 6 or 7. The quantity and the delicious quality are comparable across Germany. Honestly, it's going to be difficult. My wife's steak was excellent. My pork steak topped with a thin slice of spicy smoked bacon made it fantastic. We'll be back tomorrow. From our point of view, the owner Isabelle is a two-star chef with a narrow but excellent menu. Hopefully keep it up for a long time. All the best

Köchin komplett überfordert, schreit Gäste an, dass sie allein in der Küche sei und es bei ihr nur "billig" gebe - was immer das heißt. Wir sind nach einer Stunde frustriert gegangen.

In einer traditionellen Gaststube gibt es eine gute Speisenauswahl von gleichbleibend sehr zufriedenstellender Qualität. Wie schön, dass es solche Gasthöfe noch gibt!
