Delicious food and very friendly staff. If we're ever in Pfullendorf again, a visit is definitely a must.

We had a truly disappointing experience with the service. Even though there were plenty of seats available, we had to sit at the bar for 1.5 to 2 hours – not just for drinks, but even for food. We weren't given a designated seat. When we asked, the only response was: If we didn't like it, we could pay and leave. What a disgrace! In the end, the colleague even wanted to pack up our food instead of serving us properly. If it were possible, I would give them 0 stars or even -10 stars. This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable and unacceptable. Disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. This is no way to treat guests – we felt completely unwelcome and mistreated. If possible: -10 stars

We had to wait about 1.5 hours for the food. I don't know if it's always like this, but if I have a problem in the kitchen, I have to communicate it to the guest so they can decide and wait. Same thing with drinks. Ordered at 6:30 p.m., got it at 8:15 p.m. That's how you scare guests away. The food was OK. Next time I'll go back to my favorite restaurant. Good, reasonable wait time, a bit more expensive, but satisfied. Nothing against the service, they were attentive.

A typical beer garden with a good beer garden feel. Good value for money. Anytime again

It was our first time here (Saturday evening with a reservation). Drinks arrived quickly, and the food arrived at the table less than 10 minutes later, and everything tasted very good. I can confirm one point with the other reviews: the service is truly inattentive. You sit there for almost 15 minutes with empty plates before they're cleared away. When they're finally cleared away without comment, there's no question about whether you'd like dessert; instead, the bill comes automatically. The restaurant wasn't full at the time. The staff here are untrained, or rather, they're probably already acting condescendingly. Conclusion: The food was excellent, but due to the service and the apparent lack of reliability, we won't be coming back.

Never again, even one star is too many! We waited 1.5 hours for our food, only to find out after asking (!) that the dishes we ordered were no longer available. Instead of informing us immediately, they just left us sitting and waiting. After this rudeness, we at least asked for drinks on the house – of course, they coldly refused. When we asked, the manager came over and tried to explain something to us, but honestly, it was just embarrassing. The best part: We weren't the only ones affected. The guests around us left one by one because they couldn't even order their drinks. Never again – there's definitely no "service" there!

I'm originally from Pfullendorf, and we were visiting and went here for dinner. It wasn't particularly busy when we arrived, the service was quick and friendly. The food also came relatively quickly. My partner had the Swabian plate, which unfortunately consisted only of ready-made products, mostly cheap spaetzle! I ordered a portion of spaetzle with sauce and a mixed salad. I don't even want to get started on the spaetzle, which were very tasteless. The salad was okay. The atmosphere is really nice; if you don't care about the quality and origin of your food, you'll definitely feel at home here. I wouldn't come back.

Very long wait for drinks and food

They had a terrible day today. My roast beef with onions had a huge tendon in it, and the drinks didn't arrive for an hour—only after I'd reminded them when the food was delivered. They've done better than that...

We went there for dinner on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was absolutely packed. Our waiter immediately informed us that the kitchen was currently serving food, so we knew what to expect. I think that's a good idea, because it lets you decide whether to stay or not. We stayed, and the wait was definitely worth it. The food was plentiful and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen and waiters, who handled this unexpected rush so well despite being understaffed.

I visited the Barfüßer in Pfullendorf again today. I was disappointed for the second time. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Stressed and overwhelmed waiters, and the kitchen even asked the waiters to stop serving food because the kitchen staff was so overwhelmed. I have to say, I won't be visiting this place again soon.

We were at Barfüßer in Pfullendorf today. Unfortunately, we were very, very disappointed for the second time. We had to wait a while to be served and then we were allowed to order our drinks. We were NOT allowed to order the food right away!!!!!!!!. The lady, who was very stressed, said it would be quick if she brought the drinks. Another lady brought the drinks but didn't take any food. After waving two or three times, no one came. After 35 minutes, after complaining at the counter, we were allowed to order, but then we were told the food was over. The kitchen couldn't keep up. We won't be coming back!

You have to be lucky here. We've been here several times, and depending on our mood, we were served very quickly and friendly, or, as we did recently, we waited 15 minutes in vain for our order to be taken so we could send our drink requests. The table next to us was served, and we had to wait. I don't think this is good service; it would have been understandable if it had been busy, but I can't confirm that. The food is delicious in and of itself, but that's a matter of taste. We've had good dishes before, but also some where we definitely wouldn't order again, whether they were too salty or simply impossible to slice because the dumplings were too dense. The atmosphere is very cozy and actually invites you to linger longer, if only you were served accordingly—and this brings us back to the first point—so you could enjoy your time.

The food was very good and quick, too. The service was completely overwhelmed, even though there were enough staff. They were also irritable with the guests. There's still room for improvement.

Great location, delicious beer and food, and all at a reasonable price. Other plus points include the fenced-in playground and the fast charger for electric cars. Both are right in front of the restaurant. I had the ox cheeks. Highly recommended.

Ich war mit ein paar Mädels da. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Ohne Probleme wurde uns der Rest eingepackt. Die Bedienungen waren nur zu zweit, obwohl zur Mittagszeit das Lokal gut mit Gästen besetzt war. Trotz der vielen Arbeit, die die Bedienung hatte war sie sehr freundlich und nahm sich trotzdem Zeit für ein paar nette Worte. Hut ab vor so einer Leistung!

Essen mit Schweinemedalons und Brauhaus-Burger bestellt. 2 Stücke ca. 2x3cm lagen neben den Spätzle. Ein 3. Stück hätte dem Gericht gut getan. Der Brauhausburger konnte nicht Medium bestellt werden. Dementsprechend trocken war der Burger. Das Bier war , wie die Bedienung, gut. Würde ich da noch mal essen gehen. Eher unwahrscheinlich.

I visited Barfüßer for the first time today. It's really huge, and there's also a very large terrace with plenty of space. The food is, in my opinion, really just average, but I have to say the waiter and the service were first-class and super friendly 👍🏼👍👍🏾 I'll go back with my girlfriend and try it again 😊😇🙂🤗 PS: The terrace, especially now in summer, is really huge and beautifully covered with umbrellas. There's also a small playground for children, which I think is really great, where parents can keep an eye on their children 👍🏾👍👍🏼❗

The food was okay, the service was okay, but that's not what you'd call a relaxed dinner. Our ordered main courses arrived in less than five minutes! How fresh they are is up to you to judge... they tasted okay. All in all, a very uncomfortable dinner. But the beer is delicious!

There were three of us for dinner and we had reserved a table. We managed to get a parking space and were shown to our seats. The food was nothing special and a bit expensive for the amount of meat you actually get. Service was almost nonexistent, and we were constantly told it was busy, but many servers were just standing around from time to time, and no one actively approached the guests. Therefore, paying took a very long time. Maybe it was just an unlucky day.

A very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the service fluctuates from excellent to so-so (there are days when your drinks are refilled immediately, and then days when you have to wait 30 minutes for a beer). The food is really delicious, but I think it's a real shame that they've stopped offering the tarte flambée, which was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend and I are very sad that they've been removed from the menu (this, along with the inconsistent service, is the reason it doesn't get the full number of stars). Overall, a really nice place to go out to eat with friends and relax.

There was no service outside and no sign of service, and I waited in vain with a hungry child. Unfortunately, many other guests had the same experience. When we moved inside, and I spent a long time looking at the next table that hadn't been cleared and was completely dirty, we left.

Service war Mangelhaft. Für einen Freitag Mittag viel zu unterbesetzt. Haben fasst eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet das jetzt auch nicht besonders gut war.

I actually go there regularly and always order takeaway. That usually works great too. However, the last few times there have been such serious mistakes that should never happen or leave the kitchen. I ordered the new Maultaschenpfane (roasted Maultaschen with spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce). The first time, the Maultaschen were not roasted and the Spätzle were drowned in fat. Ok... it can happen. And because it was otherwise good, I ordered the dish again today. SUCH THING is not allowed to leave the kitchen... The spaetzle was OK. just like the Maultaschen. But the mushroom cream sauce... no. It was cream with mushrooms. No seasoning, no sauce thickener... just forgotten. They simply threw cream into the mushrooms without seasoning, thickening or cooking it in any way, so that the cream simply tasted like fat. And mushroom cream sauces really aren't rocket science. Of course the dish is new on the menu. And of course mistakes can happen. But if there's hardly anything going on (3 tables in total, 2 of which only had drinks and one already had food), something like this should be noticed at the time of check-out at the latest. And/or staff for new dishes are trained accordingly. Unfortunately we are not from Pfullendorf so making a complaint is difficult, but I will definitely address it... In general, the food there is suitable for everyday use and quite good. Which for me is 4 stars. The last experiences led to a star deduction when eating. In the future, I'll keep my hands off when it comes to new foods.

A very nice restaurant with charm and lots of space inside and outside. The conditions were very friendly, but I waited at the table for almost 15 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty. Something like that can happen, but I was greeted at the door by a lady, perhaps poor communication with the service? As for eating, I'm aware that everything will be more expensive but, a plate with spaetzle, some vegetables with sauce and a very small piece of chicken breast (which was unfortunately tough and dry) for just under €20? Mh. The sauce was tasty, just a little bit, the vegetables were also very good. All in all, I give it 4 stars because I had nothing else to complain about. The food came very quickly and the service was also very friendly.

Food was enough Had the Brauhaus schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce. Plus the mixing tray with 3 types of beer, 0.1 liters each, to try for just over 5 euros. One drawback was the side salad. It was served in a stocky dish in which the salad always fell onto the table while eating.? Side salad consisted of 85% arugula and 15% lolo roso. If you like it, it's ok, but something like this isn't a side salad. No corn, No cucumber No potato salad No carrots...that's a shame There is a lot of room for improvement in the salad!!! . Food, side salad, drinks all together around €35-38

Was there today and we waited for over half an hour but no one came to take our order. Three employees often walked past our table, but none of them stopped with us. We then left this Barfüßer very disappointed and will never come back.

We were there for dinner yesterday. The ambience is really great, the service is good too. The food leaves a lot to be desired: the dumplings were cold, the knuckle was dry inside, the onion roast was cold and the schnitzel: If I had served this at home, there would have been problems...

Since yesterday evening we know again why we avoid this restaurant. Due to an event we were more or less forced to spend our evening there. Aside from the bad and overly expensive food, some waitresses should perhaps peel potatoes in the kitchen before letting them go to pay guests. Unfriendly, moody, not stress-resistant and arrogant.

The staff was super friendly and funny. The atmosphere is super nice and cozy and the food is super delicious. The seasonal duck was so good. Never had such good duck in a restaurant. The iced teas are only recommended.

Had a problem with a voucher. After an employee tried very hard to help me, his colleague came and said that they don't have time for this kind of shit. She then said it wouldn't work and left me with my problem. By the way, the warmed food doesn't taste good anyway

We were there on December 31st. in the brewery. The staff was very friendly, although it was quite busy. Thank you to the team. The beer is a pleasure. Food was good. I was disappointed with the apple crumble. It was a cold apple cake with an equally cold vanilla sauce.

Unfortunately the rump steak came through instead of medium rare. The kitchen and service staff reacted quickly and friendly and immediately prepared a new, very tasty dish.

The modern, cozy brewery invites you to linger. Unfortunately we weren't hungry to eat, but the dishes looked delicious! We tested the beer! The 3 beers in the beer tasting were all very tasty, especially the dark one. Unfortunately the IPA was just mediocre. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Anna, the young lady in service, was incredibly friendly and helpful to us... and the chef Timo spoiled us with culinary delights. It was a really nice evening ☺️.

Today I went to dinner with my partner at the Barfüsser Hausbrauerei Pfullendorf. We sat outside in the beautiful weather. The pitches were clean and the play tower for the children also looked very nice. What I thought was particularly great about the play tower was that it had a wooden fence so the children could only get in and out at one entrance/exit. Unfortunately, the ambience on the terrace was not there - there were a few umbrellas (hence the red tint in the photo) but otherwise there was no decoration or plants to add to the atmosphere. Simply. We were able to choose a seat and the waitress nodded straight to us... Or so we thought. After sitting for about 10 minutes, I snuck the menu from the next table. The guests also made it clear that they had to wait a particularly long time today until they were noticed. We didn't have any stress today and just had fun. Luckily, after another 10 minutes we were discovered (just as a quick note - there was hardly anything going on - the outside area was about 40% full at the time, 30% of which had already been served. The inside area was empty apart from two families). When it came to ordering, we would have liked something from the daily menu, but instead of the vegetarian Maultaschen we would have preferred the one with meat. It was then offered that they would ask whether this was even possible, but it was already pointed out that this would probably not be possible. No matter, there was another bowl as an alternative then that was taken and I had the giant schnitzel with spaetzle with sauce. The food came in a reasonable time. Unfortunately not at the same time. First the schnitzel with spaetzle was brought. After another five minutes the bowl. Here I asked about the sauce, which was then brought quickly afterwards. The food itself was very tasty. The bowl is particularly recommended here. But the schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce was also very good, the schnitzel was also very juicy. The only point of criticism about the schnitzel, which is unfortunately a real shame, was the size. Considering that it was advertised as a giant schnitzel on the menu, I ended up with more of a children's portion on my plate, but you can see for yourself in the photo (yes, I know I've already eaten something in one corner, but I think it speaks for itself). I just hope that today was an accident and that things go a little more smoothly next time. The staff was also very friendly and the food tasted good too.

Food is not the best, Coke more water than Coke

Four of us were there on Saturday August 24th, 2024 and have had diarrhea since Sunday - today is the fifth day, either the taps were unclean for the black beer or the food had bacteria (bowl/salad with pulled meat), we are cured. Addendum: Since only three people drank beer and only the three people had the symptoms, it can clearly be attributed to the beer, the fourth person drank a juice and was free of symptoms.

We have been to various Barfüßer locations several times. When it comes to food, the price-performance ratio is ok, the portions are decent. So far so good ... But nobody in the workforce actually notices what kind sh... music let them play there. We want to eat in a good atmosphere and not be disturbed by endless screaming - it's called music. After eating we left the restaurant in a hurry. It's actually a shame...

We have been to Barfüsser many times and have always been very satisfied with the service and food. Every now and then we had to wait a little longer for our order, but the last two times we were there we had very unfriendly service. The young, dark-haired lady took 20 minutes for the drinks and then took the order incorrectly, so that one person had to wait again for the food while everyone else could eat. No apology - such as a free drink - was offered for this. She may not be allowed to do this, but it would have been more customer-friendly. Instead, the waitress was absolutely annoyed and unfriendly for the rest of the evening and continued to take forever for all further orders. As I said, the young lady served us the last two times and we were very dissatisfied with her service both times, especially since she went to her private cell phone while checking out to read her messages and comment on them. We will continue to go to Barfüsser in the hope that we will be served by a nicer waitress.

We went for a stroll in Pfullendorf. We spontaneously wanted to go out for something to eat and I googled it in the hope of finding a good restaurant. Barfüsser was the second restaurant offered/recommended. It was easy to find. The parking spaces are nicely laid out, directly in front of them and nice and wide. The first impression was fascinating. There is a play park for children on the right. Super beautiful! The inside of the restaurant is very comfortably furnished. Lots of wood, lots of pleasant light and there is something to discover in every corner. The toilets are clean. We sat outside. It is quiet, despite being on the main street. The only negative point are the chairs. They could be more comfortable or they could at least provide seat cushions. The food was plentiful and super tasty 😋. I took an appetizer salad. The salad dressing was sooooooo delicious, it was really well seasoned. We/I will definitely come back! The service was patient with us and courteous and very friendly! Thanks! I would also like to emphasize that whatever food is left over can be taken with you. And the pack is made of paper and not, as is so often the case, Styrofoam and/or aluminum foil. The drive home took +- 30 minutes and the paper/cardboard packaging remained stable.

I went to the Barfüsser Brauhaus today because I'm staying at the Hotel RiKu, which is right next door. The food and drinks are very good, the employees are all very friendly and quick. I was able to sit outside with a very nice atmosphere. The interior is also very nicely designed. I can only recommend the brewery...

The food itself is OK, but the service clearly needs improvement. Firstly, I waited forever until someone spoke to me at the counter so I could sit down. We were then seated at a table that still had a full ashtray and some of the ashes were spread around the table. Order was taken as soon as I sat down (Ummm, maybe I'd like to see the menu first?) Finally I had to “beg” 4 times from 3 different people until I was finally allowed to pay. ...until someone finally took pity. Please train your staff!!!

Come here more often. The food is always delicious and the service is mostly friendly, fast and attentive. The restaurant has a cozy design with lots of wooden elements. There is also a "fire pit/stove" area with lower seating designed more for drinking coffee and relaxing. We always enjoy coming back.

We really enjoy coming there. Sometimes you just have the feeling that you have been forgotten (longer waiting time until you can order) but the food makes up for it. Very great atmosphere and beautiful outdoor area.
