Restaurant stelldichein in Bad Kissingen

My wife and I were in this restaurant last week around 8:30 p.m. We ordered drinks and food, after 10 minutes we got drinks, after 20 minutes we were told that there was no chef left and eating was impossible. Wasted evening, Koktajl was ok..

A nice atmosphere, the waiters very attentive and friendly. The time between courses was absolutely appropriate, not too short, not too long. The waiter's wine recommendation went very well with the courses and the food itself was excellent. Thanks!

Unfortunately, our visit to the Stelldichein restaurant turned out to be different than what we had previously expected. The drink order went quickly, but we waited quite some time for the starter, about 45 minutes. At the beginning we announced that we only had 2 hours to attend the concert on time. However, the bored waiter didn't seem to care and everything progressed very slowly and sluggishly. After clearing away, we waited another good hour for the main course. Dinner was overcooked, the sauce was very salty and the meat was tough like chewing gum. We then had to cancel the whole thing and pay everything because we were already 20 minutes late for the concert that we had been looking forward to all day. It's a shame, we thought the restaurant downstairs was as unique and good as advertised, but that wasn't the case at all. Unfortunately, the food downstairs and upstairs didn't convince us; we expected much more from a 4-star hotel and a grand hotel. The toilets, at least downstairs, were not clean either, with urine spread on the glasses and the floor.

After a SPA afternoon, I was looking forward to delicious food. At the entrance in the foyer there was a display with the food. I took a seat and had to wait for three waiters before I could order a cappu. When I asked, one of the waiters told me that there would be no food that day, but that there would be a buffet in the restaurant in the evening... Very disappointing for a grand hotel. Unfortunately I can't recommend it

During our stay at the Grandhotel Kaiserhof Victoria we had a 3-course menu one evening and were completely satisfied. The service was also outstanding and very friendly. We observed that a lady was celebrating her birthday with 6 people and they also looked after the guests very professionally.

We booked a three-course meal in this restaurant on the occasion of our 35th wedding anniversary. When we ordered, we were asked about the occasion and treated very courteously, with the promise that the table would be beautifully set. I was really looking forward to the evening! When we got there we picked up our menu slip (which is common there) at the reception and were served by a very grumpy lady. There was no table reserved in the restaurant and nothing particularly set for us. The food we ordered was very tasty, hence the 2 stars, but the quiche was forgotten for the starter (quiche with salad) and the horseradish sauce for the main course. No apology in the form of a coffee or anything similar was offered. The food and ambience are really nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. What a shame!! for such a great house.
