WednesdayFriendsChatEvening with really good food: 4 friends set out every now and then to try out new restaurants to chat and enjoy delicious food and what could be better than doing it at home in Datteln, in the as yet untried "Colorado"! Reserved a few days in advance and the anticipation of a “good piece of meat :-)” increased as I looked at the food pics online. An impression of an honest, warm and friendly welcome was immediately created by the lady of the house, but also the nice and informative conversations with the two people in charge of the restaurant, which offered "a lot of choice of seats" that evening, rounded off the good impression that you would like to offer recommended gastronomy there. Even before your visit, you should take a look at the beautiful pictures and the menu online, which will increase your appetite and make friends and shorten the time it takes to choose the food at the table. A great selection because you can also put together your own steak variations. Already at home I decided on the "RUMPSTEAK SAUCE BERNAISE" (expanded to 300g) with fresh fried mushrooms + triplets, which another one of us also ordered and neither of us regretted it. The other two got a beef fillet (300g), which is also a good weight, not too much and not too little, because starters can be ordered additionally and an "amuse gueule" is served beforehand, in the form of fresh bread with very good butter and Olives/pepperoni! Both of us rump steakers were immediately blown away. The delicious light meat crust, the seasoning of the meat and mushroom triplets was perfect and the rump was spot on. Brilliant. If you like eating fillet, you should really try a good rump every now and then, because the firmness of the meat offered in the Colorado, the shape and attractive height of the piece, as well as the cooking point, "will blow you through the restaurant!" Wow. We repeatedly confirmed to each other that we had made the right choice. Maybe those who ordered the fillet would also give us some information, but everyone was completely satisfied! In between, a nice chat with the two people in charge, one of whom also prepares the food. Upon request, you can find out something about the background to the creation of the restaurant, about the owners of the restaurant and, for example, that it is not yet part of a "chain", which can of course be an excellent way to achieve a great unique selling point. All in all, "my summary: A lovely evening with great food and very friendly owners, in a restaurant that was a bit too brightly (personally) lit for me that evening, left nothing to be desired in a steakhouse in terms of ambience and food. A good Sliwowicz -Brand closed the round. A clear “yes” to this and we would be happy to visit “Colorado” again.

Addendum: We have been there several times now and can only recommend it. The service is still top notch and you feel very comfortable there. We have been eating there regularly since the restaurant opened and we have always been completely satisfied. Meat, fish and all side dishes are always of very good quality. The service is always very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is bright and cozy.

A beautiful, lovingly run restaurant ☺️ We feel incredibly comfortable here and a simple meal quickly turns into a wonderful, long evening filled with laughter, nice conversation and delicious food. The boss is really magical and attentive! You quickly get the feeling of being with friends. We were last there with our son and his girlfriend and both ordered something from the children's menu. Rarely have I laughed as much when ordering as when "I have no idea" and "I don't know" were ordered. The idea behind it is brilliant! 😅 Which parents don't know these food requests? For my husband's birthday there was even a chocolate souffle with a sparkler and "Happy Birthday" over the music system. Thanks again for this great surprise! He was so happy 🥰 I can only recommend stopping by for yourself and enjoying the very good food and spending an unforgettable evening here ❤️

Man sagt, aller guten Dinge sind drei. Wir haben dem Restaurant bisher insgesamt drei Chancen gegeben. Wir haben wohl wirklich Pech gehabt. Am Service kann man absolut gar nichts bemängeln. Der war wirklich einwandfrei. Bei den Gerichten bei drei Besuchen mit zwei Personen haben wir alles quer Beet probiert und waren lediglich WIRKLICH nur überzeugt vom Knoblauchbrot, was für uns jedoch auch ein Grund für eine kurze Stipvisite wäre. Vielleicht versuchen wir es noch einmal…

Wir mussten leider 1,5 Std auf das Essen warten.Die Portion war sehr klein,selbst für meine Kinder die sonst nicht viel essen haben ihre Portion geschafft.Das Fleisch war leider zäh und das Risotto auch nicht so lecker.Die Preise sind schon sehr happig für das was geboten wird.Kenne es nicht,das es keinen Salat vorweg gibt.Der Service war sehr freundlich aber auch etwas überfordert,man musste recht lange warten bis es etwas zu trinken gab.

Mit Abstand das Beste Restaurant in Datteln bzw. meiner Meinung nach im ganzen Umkreis. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich, gehen auf jeden Wunsch ein und sind einfach ein sehr sympathisches Team! Am Essen gibt es auch überhaupt keinen Kritik Punkt. Habe schon lange nicht mehr so lecker in einem Restaurant gegessen. Mein Geheimtipp: Isst du gerne Cevapcici? dann bestell dir Cevapcici NICHT mit Pommes sondern mit Lepinja ( Fladenbrot ). So essen wir es immer in Bosnien :) Die Zusatzkarte bietet auch immer wieder sehr leckere Gerichte an! Habe noch nie so leckere Champignons mit Knoblauch Sauce gegessen. Wir gehen öfters dort essen & werden mittlerweile auch schon von den Mitarbeitern so begrüßt als würde man sich länger kennen, was meiner Meinung nach einem einfach auch richtig wohlfühlen lässt dort. 🫶🏼

Wir hatten dort unser Weihnachtsessen für 12 Personen. Die Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam, Getränke und Essen würde für alle zeitnah serviert. Die Essen Auswahl war noch übersichtlich und das Bestellte hat allen geschmeckt. Kompliment!

Comimos en la terraza aprovechando un día de buen tiempo. Carne MUY buena y servicio muy correcto. Recomendable sin lugar a dudas.

Wir waren kurz in Nauen und wollten vor der Rückfahrt noch etwas essen. Auf der Hinfahrt fiel uns das Steakhaus bereits auf, sodass wir auch dort gelandet sind. Empfangen wurden wir von einer sauberen und gemütlichen Gaststätte sowie von einer sehr netten Bedienung. Am Platz angekommen konnten wir schnell bestellen und ruck zuck waren auch unsere Getränke da. Wegen Mangel an großem Hunger bestellten wir Pasta, total lecker und riesige Portionen für maximal 8,00 €, da kann man nix falsch machen. Wir meinen: unbedingt empfehlenswert..!

Nach einem Krh`s Besuch in Nauen war ich mit meiner Frau, nach einigen Jahren, dort wieder mal zum Essen. Im Vergleich zum vorherigen Besuch waren wir sehr Unzufrieden. Das Fleisch war Hart und Trocken, die Curry bzw. Pfersoßen schmeckten nicht nach ihrem Namen und die Teller waren ziemlich lieblos und sehr einfach angerichtet. Wir werden dieses Steahouse nicht mehr Aufsuchen.

Dieses Steakhouse kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir waren dort zu zweit zum Abendessen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Steaks waren auf dem Punkt genau zubereitet. Wie man es erwartet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus vorhanden. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort einkehren.
